技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,具体涉及一种像素电路及显示装置。
背景技术
在液晶显示装置中,为了改善垂直排列型液晶显示器的大视角色偏现象,可对像素单元进行低色偏(low color shift,LCS)设计,譬如将每个子像素单元分成主像素电极和次像素电极。在显示过程中,先向主像素电极和次像素电极充入相同电位,再拉低次像素电极的电位,使主像素电极和次像素电极的电位不同。
举例来说,主像素电极的开关、次像素电极的开关和分享信号开关由同一信号线控制,LCS曲线会呈下降趋势,LCS特征参数低时视角不佳,且LCS特征参数高时穿透性不佳。为了改善此情况,虽有其他技术被提出,譬如改变分享信号开关的控制方式,但LCS特性曲线可调范围有限,无法同时满足视角及穿透率要求,仍待改善。
发明内容
本发明提供一种像素电路及显示装置,用于改善现有技术的低色偏曲线可调范围。
为解决上述问题,本发明的一第一方面提供一种像素电路,包括:多个像素驱动模块,所述像素驱动模块包括:一主像素控制组,包括一主开关及一主像素电极,所述主开关被配置由一本级扫描线的扫描信号控制以将一数据线的数据信号传递给所述主像素电极;一次像素控制组,包括一次开关及一次像素电极,所述次开关被配置由所述本级扫描线的扫描信号控制以将所述数据线的数据信号传递给所述次像素电极;及一共享开关,被配置由一共享扫描线的共享扫描信号控制以调低所述次像素电极的电位。
根据本发明的一实施例,所述主开关、所述次开关及所述共享开关分别为一晶体管开关,所述晶体管开关包括一控制端、一第一端及一第二端,所述主开关的控制端及所述次开关的控制端电连接所述扫描线,所述共享开关的控制端电连接所述共享扫描线。
根据本发明的一实施例,所述共享开关的第一端电连接所述次像素电极及所述次开关的第二端,所述共享开关的第二端电连接一公共电极。
根据本发明的一实施例,所述主像素电极及所述次像素电极分别包括一液晶电容及一储存电容,所述次像素电极的液晶电容电连接所述次开关的第二端及一第一公共电极,所述次像素电极的储存电容电连接所述次开关的第二端及一第二公共电极,所述共享开关的第二端电连接所述第二公共电极。

举例来说,本发明的一第一方面提供一种像素电路,所述像素电路可适用于低色偏设计的液晶显示装置,譬如多畴(如四畴或八畴)架构的液晶显示装置,但不以此为限。
如图1所示,所述像素电路包括:多个像素驱动模块L,用于驱动多个子像素(如红、绿、蓝子像素),譬如所述像素驱动模块L包括一主像素控制组M及一次像素控制组S,例如所述包括主像素控制组M及次像素控制组S的像素驱动模块L可被配置用于蓝色子像素、红色子像素,或蓝色和红色子像素,以利优化显示效果,但不以此为限。
如图1所示,所述主像素控制组M可包括一主开关T1及一主像素电极P1,所述主开关T1可被配置由一本级扫描线WG(n)的扫描信号G(n)控制以将一数据线WD的数据信号D传递给所述主像素电极P1,n为正整数,表示多级扫描架构中的特定一级扫描配置。
如图1所示,所述次像素控制组S可包括一次开关T2及一次像素电极P2,所述次开关T2可被配置由所述本级扫描线G(n)的扫描信号控制以将所述数据线WD的数据信号D传递给所述次像素电极P2。
如图1所示,所述像素驱动模块还可包括一共享开关T3,所述共享开关T3可被配置由一共享扫描线WSG(n)的共享扫描信号SG(n)控制以调低所述次像素电极P2的电位。
以下举例说明所述像素电路的实施例,但不以此为限。
举例来说,如图1所示,所述主开关T1、所述次开关T2及所述共享开关T3分别为一晶体管开关,所述晶体管开关包括一控制端、一第一端及一第二端,譬如薄膜晶体管(TFT)的栅极、漏极及源极,但不以此为限,所述控制端可由一电信号控制所述第一端与所述第二端之间的导通状态,以使所述第一端的信号传递到所述第二端。
如图1所示,所述主开关T1的控制端电连接所述扫描线WG(n),所述主开关T1的第一端电连接所述数据线WD,所述主开关T1的第二端电连接所述主像素电极P1,譬如所述主像素电极P1包括一液晶电容C11及一储存电容C12,所述液晶电容C11电连接于所述主开关T1的第二端与一第一公共电极Ccom之间,所述储存电容C12电连接于所述主开关T1的第二端与一第二公共电极Acom之间。
如图1所示,所述次开关T2的控制端电连接所述扫描线WG(n),所述次开关T2的第一端电连接所述数据线D,所述次开关T2的第二端电连接所述次像素电极P2,譬如所述次像素电极P2包括一液晶电容C21及一储存电容C22,所述液晶电容C21电连接于所述次开关T2的第二端与所述第一公共电极Ccom之间,所述储存电容C22电连接于所述次开关T2的第二端与所述第二公共电极Acom之间。
如图1所示,所述共享开关T3的控制端电连接所述共享扫描线WSG(n),所述共享开关T3的第一端电连接所述次像素电极P2(譬如所述液晶电容C21及所述储存电容C22)及所述次开关T2的第二端,所述共享开关T3的第二端电连接所述第二公共电极Acom。
如图1所示,在显示过程中,可由所述本级扫描线WG(n)的扫描信号G(n)控制所述主开关T1与所述次开关T2开启(ON),同时由所述共享扫描线WSG(n)的共享扫描信号SG(n)控制所述共享开关T3关闭(OFF),将所述数据线WD的数据信号D传递至所述主像素电极P1及所述次像素电极P2,使所述主像素电极P1(如所述液晶电容C11及所述储存电容C12)和所述次像素电极P2(如所述液晶电容C21及所述储存电容C22)充入相同电位(譬如高电位);然后,再由所述本级扫描线WG(n)的扫描信号SG(n)控制所述主开关T1与所述次开关T2关闭,同时由所述共享扫描线WSG(n)的共享扫描信号SG(n)控制所述共享开关T3开启,使所述主像素电极P1和所述次像素电极P2的电位不同,譬如所述次像素电极P2通过所述共享开关T3放电到所述第二公共电极Acom,使所述次像素电极P2的电位低于所述主像素电极P1的电位。
可选地,在一实施例中,如图1所示,所述主开关T1、所述次开关T2及所述共享开关T3分别为一晶体管开关,所述晶体管开关包括一控制端、一第一端及一第二端,所述主开关T1的控制端及所述次开关T2的控制端电连接所述扫描线WG(n),所述共享开关T3的控制端电连接所述共享扫描线WSG(n)。从而,所述共享开关的控制端可以独立于所述主开关的控制端和所述次开关的控制端被控制,以便调控所述主像素电极与所述次像素电极之间的亮度比值。
可选地,在一实施例中,如图1所示,所述共享开关T3的第一端电连接所述次像素电极P2及所述次开关T2的第二端,所述共享开关T3的第二端电连接一公共电极。从而,所述次像素电极通过所述共享开关放电,使所述次像素电极的电位低于所述主像素电极的电位,以利改善视角。
可选地,在一实施例中,如图1所示,所述主像素电极P1及所述次像素电极P2分别包括一液晶电容(如C11、C21)及一储存电容(如C12、C22),所述次像素电极P2的液晶电容C21电连接所述次开关T2的第二端及一第一公共电极Ccom,所述次像素电极P2的储存电容C22电连接所述次开关T2的第二端及一第二公共电极Acom,所述共享开关T3的第二端电连接所述第二公共电极Acom。从而,所述次像素电极通过所述共享开关放电到所述第二公共电极,使得所述主像素电极的电位与所述次像素电极的电位不同,以适当调控液晶偏转角度差异化。
可选地,在一实施例中,如图1所示,所述共享开关T3被配置为导通以使所述次像素电极P2的电位降低。从而,所述次像素电极的电位低于所述主像素电极的电位,使得所述主像素电极的电位与所述次像素电极的电位不同,可以改善液晶显示装置的大视角色偏现象。
可选地,在一实施例中,如图1所示,所述本级扫描线WG(n)与所述共享扫描线WSG(n)相互绝缘,譬如所述本级扫描线WG(n)与所述共享扫描线WSG(n)设置于二金属材料层,所述二金属材料层之间设置一绝缘层,以避免控制信号相互干扰。从而,所述本级扫描线的扫描信号与所述共享扫描线的共享扫描信号可以相互独立,所述共享扫描信号可在所述扫描信号之间可以利用时间分割方式调整时间长度,以利灵活调整所述次像素电极与所述主像素电极的电位及亮度比例。
应被注意的是,所述次像素电极的电位处于高电位和处于低电位的时间长度是可调的(时间分割),使得低色偏(LCS)特征参数(譬如次像素电极的亮度与主像素电极的亮度的比值)能被灵活调整。
举例来说,以所述共享开关比所述主开关和所述次开关延迟1/4帧(frame)时间开启的像素亮度为例,图2为共享开关比主开关和次开关延迟1/4帧时间开启的像素亮度变化示意图。其中,在纵轴被表示的像素亮度或电压呈正相关,在横轴被表示的是时间。在图2中,以两帧时间长度为例,其中,U1表示在所述主开关被开启使得所述主像素电极维持高电平(如14伏特)时生成高灰阶主像素电极的亮度曲线;U2表示在所述次开关被开启与关闭使得所述次像素电极具备高电平脉冲时生成高灰阶次像素电极的亮度曲线;U3表示在所述主开关被开启使得所述主像素电极维持低电平(如0.2伏特)时生成低灰阶主像素电极的亮度曲线;U4表示在所述次开关被开启与关闭使得所述次像素电极充放电过程时生成低灰阶次像素电极的亮度曲线;U5表示所述共享开关比所述主开关和所述次开关延迟1/4帧时间开启的电压曲线。
在图2中,如曲线U1示出,所述主像素电极在高灰阶时维持高亮度;如曲线U3示出,所述主像素电极在低灰阶时维持低亮度。
在图2中,如曲线U2及曲线U5示出,在所述次开关被开启(如曲线U2所示高电平)且所述共享开关被关闭(如曲线U5所示低电平)时,所述次像素电极在高灰阶时维持高亮度(如曲线U2所示),在所述次开关被关闭(如曲线U2所示低电平)且所述共享开关被开启(如曲线U5所示高电平)时,所述次像素电极在高灰阶时维持低亮度(如曲线U2所示),使得所述次像素电极的亮度与所述主像素电极的亮度不同。
应被注意的是,在所述共享开关被开启后,所述次像素电极的电压降低而产生亮暗变化,但是亮度变化频率与显示面板的刷新频率一致,并非像闪烁(flicker)画面亮度变化频率为显示面板的刷新频率的两倍,因此,所述共享开关被开启后的亮暗变化不会造成明显的闪烁。
在图2中,如曲线U4及曲线U5示出,在所述共享开关被开启后,在另一帧(如图2中的帧2),在所述次开关被开启(如曲线U2所示高电平)且所述共享开关被关闭(如曲线U5所示低电平)时,由于液晶在低灰阶反应慢,所述次像素电极在低灰阶时的亮度缓步升高(如曲线U4所示),在所述次像素电极的亮度还没达到所述主像素电极的亮度时,所述次开关被关闭且所述共享开关被开启(如曲线U5所示高电平),使得所述次像素电极开始放电,所述次像素电极在低灰阶时的亮度缓步降低(如曲线U4所示),导致所述次像素电极在低灰阶时的亮度更低,从而,低灰阶的LCS特征参数比高灰阶的LCS特征参数低,使LCS特性曲线呈上升趋势。
在图2中,如曲线U2、曲线U4及曲线U5示出,在所述共享开关被开启后,所述次像素电极的电压降低,使得所述次像素电极的亮度降低。由于LCS特征参数为次像素电极的亮度与主像素电极的亮度的比值,通过调整所述共享开关被开启的时间,可以调节所述次像素电极的亮度,进而可以调控LCS特征参数。
应被注意的是,如图1所示,由于所述本级扫描线WG(n)与所述共享扫描线WSG(n)相互绝缘,所述本级扫描线WG(n)的扫描信号G(n)与所述共享扫描线WSG(n)的共享扫描信号SG(n)被分开递送,使得所述共享开关T3的开启时间可以被单独控制。
举例来说,如图1及图3所示,在所述本级扫描线WG(n)的扫描信号G(n)的脉波从高电平转为低电平后,经过一段间隔时间t,所述共享扫描线WSG(n)的共享扫描信号SG(n)的脉波从低电平转为高电平,使得在所述次像素电极P2维持高电位时,经过所述间隔时间t后,控制所述次像素电极P2的电位降低,所述次像素电极P2的电位低于所述主像素电极P1的电位,使得所述主像素电极P1的电位与所述次像素电极P2的电位不同,以适当调控液晶偏转角度差异化,从而可以改善视角,改善液晶显示装置的大视角色偏现象。
可选地,在一实施例中,如图1及图3所示,所述扫描线WG(n)的扫描信号G(n)被配置为具有一第一正电平脉波,所述共享扫描线WSG(n)的共享扫描信号SG(n)被配置为具有一第二正电平脉波,所述第二正电平脉波晚于所述第一正电平脉波,所述第一正电平脉波与所述第二正电平脉波之间具有一间隔时间。从而,通过调整所述间隔时间,可以调节所述主像素电极与所述次像素电极之间的电位及亮度比例。
此外,本发明的一第二方面提供一种显示装置,譬如具备低色偏架构的液晶显示装置,所述显示装置包括如上所述的像素电路,其实施细节可参上述实施例,不再赘述。
应被注意的是,本发明上述实施例的像素电路及显示装置,通过单独控制所述共享开关的开启与关闭时间,使得子像素的显示过程有时间分割效果。如图4所示,可以使得一LCS曲线V呈上升趋势的可调范围大幅增加,在低灰度范围(如范围E1所示)的LCS特征参数低,视角效果越好;在高灰度范围(如范围E2所示)的LCS特征参数高,穿透效果越好,可以同时满足显示装置的低灰阶视角及高灰阶穿透要求。从而,本发明上述实施例的像素电路及显示装置可以改善现有技术的LCS曲线呈下降趋势或可调范围有限所衍生的问题,譬如视角及穿透率受限的情况。
本发明上述实施例的像素电路及显示装置,通过所述主开关被配置由所述本级扫描线的扫描信号控制以将所述数据线的数据信号传递给所述主像素电极,所述次开关被配置由所述本级扫描线的扫描信号控制以将所述数据线的数据信号传递给所述次像素电极,及所述共享开关被配置由所述共享扫描线的共享扫描信号控制以调低所述次像素电极的电位。从而,使得所述主像素电极的电位与所述次像素电极的电位不同,使LCS曲线的可调范围大幅增加,可以同时满足显示装置的低灰阶视角及高灰阶穿透要求以适当调控液晶偏转角度差异化,同时满足显示装置的低灰阶视角及高灰阶穿透要求,可以改善视角,改善液晶显示装置的大视角色偏现象。
以上对本发明实施例进行详细介绍,本文中应用具体个例对本发明的原理及实施方式进行了阐述,以上实施例的说明只是用于帮助理解本发明的技术方案及其核心思想;本领域的普通技术人员应当理解:其依然可以对前述各实施例所记载的技术方案进行修改,或者对其中部分技术特征进行等同替换;而这些修改或者替换,并不使相应技术方案的本质脱离本发明各实施例的技术方案的范围。

Claims (10)

1.一种像素电路,其特征在于,包括:
多个像素驱动模块,所述像素驱动模块包括:
一主像素控制组,包括一主开关及一主像素电极,所述主开关被配置由一本级扫描线的扫描信号控制以将一数据线的数据信号传递给所述主像素电极;
一次像素控制组,包括一次开关及一次像素电极,所述次开关被配置由所述本级扫描线的扫描信号控制以将所述数据线的数据信号传递给所述次像素电极;及
一共享开关,被配置由一共享扫描线的共享扫描信号控制以调低所述次像素电极的电位。
2.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述主开关、所述次开关及所述共享开关分别为一晶体管开关,所述晶体管开关包括一控制端、一第一端及一第二端,所述主开关的控制端及所述次开关的控制端电连接所述扫描线,所述共享开关的控制端电连接所述共享扫描线。
3.根据权利要求2所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述共享开关的第一端电连接所述次像素电极及所述次开关的第二端,所述共享开关的第二端电连接一公共电极。
4.根据权利要求3所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述主像素电极及所述次像素电极分别包括一液晶电容及一储存电容,所述次像素电极的液晶电容电连接所述次开关的第二端及一第一公共电极,所述次像素电极的储存电容电连接所述次开关的第二端及一第二公共电极,所述共享开关的第二端电连接所述第二公共电极。
5.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述本级扫描线与所述共享扫描线相互绝缘。
6.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述本级扫描线与所述共享扫描线设置于二金属材料层,所述二金属材料层之间设置一绝缘层。
7.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述共享开关被配置为导通以使所述次像素电极的电位降低。
8.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述扫描线的扫描信号被配置为具有一第一正电平脉波,所述共享扫描线的共享扫描信号被配置为具有一第二正电平脉波,所述第二正电平脉波晚于所述第一正电平脉波,所述第一正电平脉波与所述第二正电平脉波之间具有一间隔时间。
9.根据权利要求1所述的像素电路,其特征在于,所述像素驱动模块被配置用于蓝色子像素、红色子像素,或蓝色和红色子像素。
10.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括根据权利要求1至9任一项所述的像素电路。
