Abstract

Description

蝶形阀
本发明涉及具有一个装在枢轴上的节流板或蝶形件的这类阀,特别是涉及用来调节流体从单一进口到单一出口或用来将流体从多个出口中的一个转换到另一个出口的这类阀。蝶形阀经常用在驱动阀所能利用的力最小、因而作用在阀元件上的流体压力也必须保持在一个相当低的水平上的场合。这类换向阀通常在汽车上用来调节发动机冷却剂的流动,使冷却剂或者通过发动机再循环或者转向流入用来为乘客室加热的一个热交换器中。这种汽车加热器阀通常由因尺寸及重量要求仅能提供几盎斯打开阀的力的小型电伺服马达或由薄膜调节的真空致动器来驱动。人们已经发现蝶形阀在这种低操作力的应用场合下是特别适用的,因为流体压力在枢轴的对置的两边作用在该节流板或蝶形件上,并且通常它们是平衡的,因而转动蝶形件所需的力可以减至最小。
在某些阀的应用场合,例如在大量生产的汽车应用场合,制造成本必须减至最小,人们希望提供一种具有塑料阀体的换向阀。在塑料阀体的阀中,需要该蝶形件具有某种程度的弹性以便在阀关闭位置或者在第一或第二换向位置时,在该蝶形件周边能实现密封。此外还需要该蝶形件有一个弹性的周边以容纳被调节流体中的非常小的外来颗粒,以便防止由于其周边靠紧在该阀孔口附近的阀腔壁所形成的密封而引起蝶形件的阻塞。因此,人们希望在阀中提供一种价格低廉的弹性蝶形件,特别是提供一种能在汽车加热器流体控制系统中使用的那类换向阀,该阀只需要一个相当小的驱动力作用在该蝶形件上就能够实现密封并且在所希望的位置上阻止流动。
本发明的一个目的是提供一种具有一个弹性蝶形板件的蝶形阀,该蝶形件用弹性材料整体制成,它有一个在其内带有力矩传递表面的轴套,从该轴套向外延伸的较薄的翼片和一个较厚的周边边缘,一个刚性轴安装在该轴套内并与该力矩传递表面相啮合。该轴以轴颈支承在该阀体内,以便于该蝶形件的枢轴转动。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种具有一个非金属材料的阀体和一个弹性蝶形件的蝶形阀,与该蝶形件形成一个整体的是一个具有力矩传递表面的轴套部分,以相反方向从该轴套向外延伸的较薄的翼片部分和一个较厚的周边边缘部分,一个刚性轴安装在该轴套中并且与力矩传递表面相啮合,该轴以轴颈支承在该阀体内。该蝶形件的边缘做成倒角,以便于该边缘靠在该阀体上实现密封。
本发明蝶形阀最好具有一个用塑料制成的阀体和一个最好用热塑性合成橡胶制成的整体蝶形件,该蝶形件具有一个在其内周边上带有力矩传递表面的轴套部分,一对反向设置的较薄的翼片部分,在该翼片的周边形成一个较厚的边缘,一根刚性轴安装在该轴套内并与该力矩传递表面相啮合。该轴的两端支承在该阀体内,该蝶形件厚边缘的侧面最好倒角,以便于蝶形件与阀体之间的密封。在附图示出的实施例中,该阀具有一种换向阀的结构,该阀设有一个进口,使用该蝶形件可以将流体导向两个出口选定的任何一个出口。该阀还设有第二个进口,用来接受来自某个装置的回流,该装置与出口中的一个相连接,该回流通过一个非选择出口排出。
图1是用换向阀体现的本发明阀组件的横截面;
图2是沿图1的截面指示线2-2所截取的剖视图;
图3是图2的顶视图。
参看图1,图中示出了总地以编号10表示的本发明阀组件,在该图所示出的实施例中,本发明具有一个用来与流体源(例如发动机冷却剂)相连接的进口接头12和一个用来与通向流体源的回输管路(未示出)相连接的回流出口接头14。该接头12、14是阀体的一个组成部分,该阀体包括最好用塑料制成的左壳体16和右壳体18,左、右壳体在其分界面20附近通过适当的方法例如一对法兰21,23和一个夹在该法兰上的夹紧箍22来实现互相连接。壳体16和18的内部限定了一个编号24的阀腔,该阀腔与在接头12内的进口通道26以及在右壳体18上的接头14内的回流出口通道28相连通。
壳体18上还有一个大致沿着与接头14相反方向延伸的出口接头30,并且接头30中有一个与阀腔或通道24相连通的出口通道32。接头30用来与一个流通装置,例如一个热交换器的进口相连接,该热交换器使流体通过壳体18上的第二进口接头34进行循环,该接头34有一个也与阀腔24连通的进口通道36。图1中该热交换器用虚线表示,其参考编号为38。应当指出,该阀10还可以与其他流体回路相连接,并不局限于附图中所示的与热交换器相连接的应用情况。
阀10有一个蝶形阀元件,它总地以编号40表示并且被可枢轴转动地配置在阀腔24中。在外部驱动器(未示出)所提供的力的作用下,该蝶形件40可以在图1中所示的实线位置和图1中所示的虚线位置之间运动。
在图1中所示的实线位置,来自进口通道26的流体通过蝶形件40被改变方向通过通道32流向外部,然后该流体经过热交换器38再通过通道36回流,又被改变方向通过通道28流向外部。
可以理解,当该蝶形件40被转动到图1中虚线所示位置时,从进口26进入阀腔24的流体被改变方向后直接通向出口通道28,以便流回到流体源。因此,当把蝶形件40放在图1中所示的虚线位置时,在出口通道32和进口通道36中就没有流体流动。
参看图2和图3,图中示出的蝶形件40与其上具有力矩传递表面44的轴套42构成一个整体,该表面在此处最好以凹槽形式配置在其对置端。该蝶形件40还与一对方向相反的较薄的翼片部分46构成一个整体,该翼片部分从该轴套部分42向外延伸。一个较厚的边缘部分48围绕在该翼片46的周边构成一个整体。
在本最佳实施例中,每个翼片部分46上都有一个中央加强腹板50,该腹板从轴套部分42向外延伸到边缘部分48上。该蝶形件40最好用热塑性合成橡胶整体模压而成,并且图中所示具较薄翼片46和较厚边缘48的构造具有理想的弹性,它在模压时材料的流动也比较容易。在本最佳实施例中,对边缘48的外周边作出了倒角,在图2和3中该倒角以参考编号52表示。
一个具有沿相反方向延伸的外伸或翼形悬臂部分56的刚性轴54安装在该轴套42内,并以该悬臂部分56与该轴套内的力矩传递表面或凹槽44相啮合。该轴54的两端伸出到该轴套的外面;并且当需要时,可以把该轴的一端做成一个曲柄58,用来与一个伺服执行机构(未示出)相连接。
轴54在邻近蝶形件40的边缘处各自以其轴颈支承在腔24的对置端的壳体18中,从而使该蝶形件40在图1所示的实线位置与虚线位置之间转动时更加方便。
在装配时,把该蝶形件插入右壳体18的腔24中,把轴54插入在壳体18一端的孔60中并且穿过该蝶形件40的轴套42。通过轴套42伸出的该轴54的末端支承在壳体18内壁上形成的盲孔62中。因此,该蝶形件的形状使该阀的装配方便并且由于零件的数量减至最少而使其结构简单。翼片部分46和带有倒角表面52的厚边缘48的结构形成了一个弹性部分,它在作用在曲柄58上的最小驱动力的情况下就能够靠紧在腔24的壁上而实现可靠的密封。
虽然上面我们已经就附图中的有关实施例对本发明进行了说明,但应当指出,只要不超出下述权利要求书规定的范围,对本发明可以作出各种改变或变化。

Claims (10)

1.一种阀组件,包括:
(a)一个具有用来连接流体源的进口,出口和一个与该进口和出口相连通的阀通道的阀体,
(b)一个设置在该通道内的弹性蝶形件,它可以在该通道内位于该阀体的第一位置与第二位置之间进行枢轴转动,以控制在该进口与出口之间的流体流动,与该蝶形件形成一体的有:
        (i)一个轴套部分,它具有用作力矩传递啮合用的内表面,
        (ii)一对以相反方向从该轴套向外延伸的较薄的翼片部分,
        (iii)一个围绕该翼片部分的周边延伸的边缘部分,该边缘部分具有比翼片部分大得多的厚度;以及
(c)一个安装在该轴套部分中的轴,该轴有与该轴套部分的该内表面相啮合的表面部分,该轴的轴颈支承在该阀体上以便于转动。
2.如权利要求1中所述的阀组件,其特征在于:该蝶形件是用热塑性合成橡胶制成的。
3.如权利要求1中所述的阀组件,其特征在于:该蝶形件的翼片部分包括一个从该轴套向该边缘延伸的加强肋。
4.如权利要求1中所述的阀组件,其特征在于:该蝶形件边缘具有一个倒角部分,以便于支靠在该阀体上。
5.一种制造蝶形阀的方法,包括:
(a)加工一个具有一个进口、出口和与该进口和出口相连通的阀体;
(b)加工一个整体的蝶形件,该件包括一个在其内具有力矩传递表面的轴套部分,一对从该轴套上以相反方向延伸的翼片部分和一个围绕该翼片的周边延伸的厚边缘部分;
(c)在该轴套中配置一根轴并使该轴与该力矩传递表面部分相啮合;
(d)把该蝶形件装入该阀通道中并将该轴以轴颈支承在该阀体中,转动该轴以控制在该进口与出口之间的流动。
6.如权利要求5中所述的方法,其特征在于:该加工一个蝶形件的步骤包括在该翼片部分加工一个从该轴套部分向边缘部分延伸的加强肋。
7.一种换向阀组件,包括:
(a)一个具有阀通道、以及与该通道相连通的一个进口及第一和第二出口的阀体;
(b)一个配置在该通道内的弹性蝶形件,该件可以在一个用来控制流体从进口到第一出口的位置与一个用来控制流体到第二出口的位置之间,以及在许多中间位置之间围绕枢轴转动,与该蝶形件形成一体的有:
        (i)一个具有力矩传递表面的轴套部分,该表面在该轴套的内周边上形成,
        (ii)一对从该轴套上以相反方向向外延伸的较薄的翼片部分,
        (iii)一个从该翼片部分的周边延伸出的边缘部分,该边缘部分具有比翼片部分大得多的厚度;以及
(c)一个安装在该轴套部分中的轴,该轴有与该轴套的力矩传递部分相啮合的表面部分,该轴以其端部支承在该阀体上。
8.如权利要求7中所述的阀组件,其特征在于:该蝶形件的每个翼片上都有一个从该轴套向边缘延伸的加强肋。
9.如权利要求7中所述的阀组件,其特征在于:该蝶形件是用热塑性合成橡胶制成的。
10.如权利要求7中所述的阀组件,其特征在于:该蝶形件具有倒了角的该边缘周边。
