Similarly, a second detector for detecting trays is also provided on the tray detaching conveyor 31, and when the second detector detects that a tray is empty, the IGV trolley conveys an empty tray stack to the interface conveyor 1. Upon receiving the empty tray in-position signal, the first lifter 22 moves the carriage conveyor 21 to the uppermost position (the cigarette carton falling position). Each time a cigarette carton is received, the carriage conveyor 21 is moved downwardly a distance until the carton is full (i.e. the carriage conveyor is lowered to the lowermost position). After the full carton signal is obtained, the full carton tray is conveyed to the interface conveyor 2. After the IGV conveying system obtains the full carton signal, the IGV trolley automatically moves to the front of the interface conveyor 1, and the full carton tray is conveyed to the carton recycling station. When the second detector on the tray detaching conveyor 31 detects that the tray is empty, it is determined that the empty tray is exhausted. After receiving the tray exhaustion signal, the IGV conveying system conveys the empty tray stack to the interface conveyor 1 through the IGV trolley.
