Description

Fixing device for fixing panel of drawer on frame
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a fixing device for fixing a panel of a drawer to a frame according to the preamble of claim 1.
The invention also relates to a method for fixing a panel of a drawer to a frame and a method for releasing a panel of a drawer from a frame.
Background
DE 20 2010 007 430 U1 discloses a fastening device for fastening a front panel of a drawer to a drawer frame, wherein a multi-part panel support is fastened to the front panel of the drawer.
Here, the panel supporter may be inserted into a forwardly-opened socket of a side frame of the drawer perpendicular to a front surface of the panel.
In order to fix the panel support in the side frame, one or two wedges are fixed on the panel support such that they can be displaced vertically and are held in a spring-loaded manner on the panel support and, during insertion of the panel support into the recess of the side frame, press into the recess of the side frame provided for this purpose and thus hold the front panel in its functional position.
This method requires a stable, in particular metallic, side frame with a sufficient wall thickness to be able to absorb the forces occurring.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a fixing device for a panel of a drawer, which is characterized by a simple and compact structure and which can be arranged in a side frame.
This object is achieved by a fixing device for fixing a panel of a drawer to a frame having the features of claim 1.
Another object of the invention is to simplify the method for fixing or releasing the panel to or from the frame.
This object is achieved by a method for fixing a panel to a frame having the features of claim 10 and by a method for releasing a panel from a frame having the features of claim 11.
The fastening device according to the invention for fastening a panel of a drawer to a frame has at least one panel support which can be arranged on the panel and at least one adapter which can be arranged in the frame and to which the panel support can be fastened.
The frame is preferably designed as a hollow chamber frame and has an inner wall and an outer wall which are connected to one another in an upper region.
The adapter has at least two latching devices with corresponding first and second wedge slides, with which corresponding connecting elements arranged on the panel support can be fixed in a mounting position on the adapter.
The securing device also has an unlocking device for the catch device, with which unlocking device the wedge slide can be moved between the securing position and the release position.
The wedge slides are held on the adapter in such a way that they can be displaced linearly perpendicularly relative to the panel installation direction, wherein the at least one second wedge slide is supported in the release position indirectly or directly on the first wedge slide in a spring-loaded manner.
On the one hand, this fixing device is characterized by a low number of parts and also enables installation in narrow existing hollow chamber frames.
Advantageous embodiment variants of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
According to an advantageous embodiment variant, the wedge slider is held in a fixed position in a spring-loaded manner, which firstly ensures a secure positioning and secondly enables installation and removal in a simple manner.
According to another embodiment variant, a first of the wedge slides is coupled indirectly or directly to the unlocking device, and at least one second wedge slide can also be unlocked depending on the first wedge slide.
Thus, only a single unlocking device has to be provided, with which two wedge slides or possibly more than two wedge slides can be unlocked by one continuous path.
According to another embodiment variant, the first wedge slide coupled to the unlocking means can be latched in the release position and can be released again from this release position by a pivoting movement.
This enables the latching device to be pretensioned in the release position, which is particularly advantageous for the process of fixing the panel to the frame.
According to another embodiment variant, one side wall of the adapter has a latching point in which a latching element on the first wedge slide, preferably integrally formed or arranged in the wedge slide, can latch.
The latching of the wedge slide can thus take place during the displacement movement into the release position. Thus, no further latching elements which are separately mounted or operated are required.
According to another embodiment variant, the wedge sled has at least one guide cam or pin that can be guided in a guide slot of at least one side wall of the adapter.
This enables a guided linear movement of the wedge slide in a simple manner.
According to a further preferred embodiment variant, the guide cam or pin of the first of the wedge slides is designed as a pivot bearing.
This enables the first of the wedge slides to pivot slightly out of or into the catch recess in the side wall of the adapter in order to hold the wedge slide securely in the pretensioned release position.
According to another embodiment variant, the adapter has at least two retaining slots which open towards the panel support, into which the connecting elements, in particular the positioning pins or the transverse pins, are inserted in the fixed position.
The adapter preferably has two side walls, wherein a first of the side walls is fastened to the frame wall or the frame base and a second of the side walls is fastened, in particular spaced apart, to the first of the side walls.
This makes it possible to further improve the guidance of the wedge slide relative to the adapter, in particular in its side walls.
According to one embodiment variant, the unlocking device is designed as a rack gear.
This enables a simple operation of the unlocking device using a lateral engagement tool (e.g. a screwdriver), with which a first one of the wedge slides can be moved between the securing position and the releasing position by rotating the wheel.
The method according to the invention for fixing a panel to a frame using the above-mentioned fixing means is characterized by the method steps described in claim 11.
The method according to the invention for releasing a panel from a frame using a fixing device as described above is characterized by the following method steps:
a. unlocking the first connecting element of the panel support by displacing the first wedge slide perpendicularly to the frame longitudinal direction by actuating the unlocking means,
b. unlocking the second connecting element by displacing the first wedge slide such that the second wedge slide is displaced perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the frame, and
c. removing the panel support with the panel secured thereto from the adapter in the release direction.
Such a method is characterized by method steps which are easy to perform.
According to a preferred embodiment variant of the release method, the first wedge slide latches in the unlocking position at the end of the vertical displacement movement on the latching point of the adapter by means of a latching element arranged on the first wedge slide.
The subsequent fixing of the panel on the frame is thus further simplified, since the wedge slide is already in the correct position for receiving the connecting element.

Detailed Description
In the following description of the figures, terms such as upper, lower, left, right, front, rear, etc. relate specifically to exemplary illustrations and positions selected in the respective figures of fixtures, panels, frames, panel supports, adapters, connecting elements, wedge slides, etc. These terms should not be construed as limiting, i.e., these references may vary for various operating positions or mirror-symmetrical designs, etc.
In fig. 1 and 2, the drawer is designated as a whole by reference numeral 1. The drawer 1 has two side frames 4, a rear wall 3, and a front panel 2 fixed to the side frames 4.
The front panel 2 is fixed to the side frames 4 by means of fixing means so that the front panel 2 is vertically adjustable in direction Z and also laterally adjustable in direction X relative to the side frames 4.
For this purpose, immediately behind the front panel 2, which covers the side frame 4 at the front, cut- outs 41, 42 are provided in the outer wall of the side frame 4, through which cut- outs 41, 42 the tool enters the respective adjusting device for vertical or lateral adjustment.
Furthermore, the unlocking means 66 can be identified by the recess 41 in fig. 1 and 2.
The unlocking device 66 and preferably the vertical adjustment element 73 and the lateral adjustment element 74 are part of the fixing device 10, as will be described in more detail below on the basis of fig. 3 to 8, and by means of said parts the front panel 2 can be fixed on the respective side frame 4 of the drawer 1.
As shown in fig. 3, 4 and 8, the fixing device 10 has a panel support 7 which can be arranged on the panel 2 and an adapter 6, said adapter 6 can be arranged on the frame 4 and the panel support 7 can be fixed on said adapter 6.
In the embodiment variant shown here, the panel support 7 is designed as a U-bent sheet metal part, on the closed end face of which openings are provided for guiding through connecting elements (for example screws for fixing the panel 2).
The opposite open end face of the panel support 7 is intended to receive the adapter 6, the panel support 7 being able to be pushed onto the adapter 6 together with the panel 2 during mounting of the panel 2 on the frame 4 of the drawer 1.
The panel support 7 also has two connecting elements, such as dowel pins or transverse pins 72, which are received between the spaced apart side walls 71 of the panel support 7 arranged parallel to each other and are fixed in position extending in the X direction in the receptacle openings provided for the purpose of the side walls 71 of the panel support 7.
The adapter 6 has at least one side wall 61 on which a mounting base 618 is formed for securing to the frame 4. The mounting base 618 here preferably extends into a bottom channel of the frame 4, on which the base 5 of the drawer 1 can be fixed.
In the preferred embodiment variant shown here, the adapter 6 has a second side wall 62, the first side wall 61 being fixed to said second side wall 62, for example screwed or riveted to said second side wall 62.
The shape of the second side wall 62 corresponds here to a mirror image of the shape of the first side wall 61 of the adapter 6, except for the mounting base 618 which is not provided.
It is also conceivable to form the adapter 6 with only one side wall.
Two latching devices with corresponding wedge slides 63, 64 are arranged between the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6, with which two latching devices a corresponding connecting element 72 arranged on the panel support 7 can be fixed in a mounting position on the adapter 6.
Depending on the height of the panel support, it is also conceivable to provide more than two connecting elements 72 on the panel support 7, and a number of latching devices with corresponding wedge slides 63, 64 corresponding to the number of connecting elements 72.
Fig. 4 shows the adapter 6 with the front side wall 61 omitted to illustrate the arrangement of the wedge slides 63, 64 and their shape.
Each of the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6 has two retaining grooves 611, 612, 621, 622 in which the connecting element 72 of the panel support 7 is inserted into the mounting position of the adapter 6 and the panel support 7. The fixed position of the connecting element 72 in the retaining grooves 611, 612, 621, 622 is shown in fig. 4.
As can also be seen from fig. 4, the wedge runners 63, 64 are coupled to an unlocking device 66 for the catch device, with which unlocking device 66 the wedge runners 63, 64 can be moved between a securing position shown in fig. 4 and a releasing position shown in fig. 5.
The wedge slides 63, 64 are held linearly movably on the adapter 6. To this end, each of the wedge slides 63, 64 has at least one guide cam 636, 646 which is guided in a respective guide groove 613, 614, 623, 624 of the side wall 61, 62 of the adapter.
The guide grooves 613, 614, 623, 624 are implemented as rectangular holes extending in the Z direction.
To adjust the wedge slides 63, 64 from the fixing position to the release position, a tool, for example a screwdriver, can be used to actuate the unlocking means 66 from the outside of the frame 4.
The unlocking means 66 preferably have a gear wheel which is rotatably arranged on the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6 about a rotational axis aligned perpendicular to the surfaces of the side walls 61, 62.
The toothed wheel engages with its teeth in a drive edge 631 of the first wedge slide 63, which is formed here as a toothed rack, and thus, by rotation of the toothed wheel, a displacement of the first wedge slide 63 in the direction of the release position of the wedge slides 63, 64, i.e. in the Z direction in the exemplary embodiment shown here, is caused in the counterclockwise direction.
As can also be seen from fig. 4 and 5, the first wedge sled 63 has a guide web 634, which guide web 634 contacts the lower edge of the second wedge sled 64 during the upward displacement and also moves the second wedge sled 64 during the further upward movement of the first wedge sled 63.
In order to keep the two wedge slides 63, 64 in a fixed position without the action of external forces, spring elements 65, preferably in the form of helical compression springs, are placed on the guide webs 634, 644, which spring elements press the wedge slides 63, 64 in the fixed position while supporting them on the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6.
Each of the wedge sleds 63, 64 further comprises a respective fixing groove 622, 632 in which the respective connecting element 72 of the panel support 7 is received in the fixing position and thus prevents the connecting element 72 from moving in the release direction L.
As shown in fig. 5, the displacement of the wedge slides 63, 64 into the release position causes the connecting element 72 to be released to move in the release direction L, which enables the panel support 7 to be detached from the adapter 6 in the release direction L.
In order to be able to pretension the wedge sled 63, 64 in the release position, the first wedge sled 63 coupled to the unlocking means 66 may be latched in the release position.
To this end, as shown in fig. 5, 6 and 8, latching points 617 are provided on the side walls 61 of the adapter 6, in which latching points 617 latching elements 635 arranged on the first wedge slide 63 can latch. The latching position is shown in fig. 6 in an enlarged detail in the section identified by VI in fig. 5.
In order that the detent element 635 of the first wedge sled 63 can be locked in this detent point 617, the guide cam 636 of the first wedge sled 63 is preferably formed as a pivot bearing of the first wedge sled 63.
After displacement into the release position, the wedge sled 63 may thus pivot slightly about the guide cam 636 in the direction of the panel support 7.
The pivoting movement is effected here on the one hand by a force component of the gear coupling between the teeth of the unlocking means 66 and the teeth of the drive edge 631 of the first wedge slide 63.
At the same time, the wedge slide 63 is guided during its movement from the securing position into the release position by the catch element 635 coming into contact with the wall of the recess in the side wall 61 extending parallel to the guide groove 613, 614, so that the wedge slide 63 can first be pivoted into the catch point 617 in the direction of the panel support 7 when the catch point 617 is reached.
With the fixing device 10 designed in this way, it is possible to fix the panel 2 and the frame 4, so that the panel 2 can be fixed by a single placing movement parallel to the normal in the front surface of the panel 2.
By placing the panel support 7 on the adapter 6, the panel support 7 together with the panel 2 fixed thereto can be pushed onto the adapter 6 in the release direction L.
The connecting elements 72 enter the retaining grooves 611, 612, 621, 622 in the front side of the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6 facing the panel support 7 until one of the connecting elements 72 contacts the control edge 637 of the first wedge slide 63.
By further advancement of the panel support 7 and thus of the connecting element 72, and the accompanying pivoting movement of the first wedge sled 63 about the guide cam 636 of the first wedge sled 63, the latch element 635 is pressed out of the latch point 617 of the adapter 6.
The movement of the wedge slides 63, 64 down into the fixed position is then triggered by the spring force of the spring element 65. In this case, the wedge slides 63, 64 overlap the connecting element 72 such that they are fixed in the respective fixing grooves 622, 632 of the respective wedge slide 63, 64 and in the respective retaining grooves 611, 612, 621, 622 of the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6.
The panel support 7 is thus fixed to the adapter 6.
In releasing the panel 2 from the frame 4 with such a fixing device 10, first, the first connecting element 72 is unlocked by displacing the first wedge slide 63 by actuating the release element 66.
Subsequently, the second connecting element 72 is unlocked by displacing the second wedge sled 64. The displacement of the second wedge slide 64 is performed by a continuous displacement of the first wedge slide 63.
The panel support 7 with the panel 2 secured thereto can then be lifted from the adapter 6.
In a preferred embodiment variant of the fixing device 10, in which the wedge slide can be latched in the release position, the wedge slide is latched in the unlocked position at the end of the displacement movement by means of the latching element 635 on the first wedge slide 63 arranged on the latching point 617 of the adapter 6.
