Technical Field
The present invention relates to a fixing device for fixing a panel of a drawer to a frame according to the preamble of claim 1.
The invention also relates to a method for fixing a panel of a drawer to a frame and a method for releasing a panel of a drawer from a frame.
Background
The panel support is provided here with two connecting elements which can be fixed in a mounting position on the adapter. Accordingly, two receiving grooves are provided on the adapter itself, wherein the connecting element is held in a fixed position by means of two snap-on devices.
In this method, there is a risk that: after unlocking the connecting elements on the adapter, the panel support slides off the adapter together with the panel and therefore always has to be held manually by the operator.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a fixing device for a panel of a drawer, which does not fall off when the panel support is unlocked from the adapter and which is characterized by a simple structure.
This object is achieved by a fixing device for fixing a panel of a drawer to a frame having the features of claim 1.
Another object of the invention is to further simplify the method for releasing the panel from the frame.
This object is achieved by a method for releasing a panel from a frame having the features of claim 10.
The fastening device according to the invention for fastening a panel of a drawer to a frame has at least one panel support arranged on the panel and at least one adapter fastened in the frame, to which the panel support can be fastened.
The frame is preferably designed as a hollow chamber frame and has an inner wall and an outer wall which are connected to one another in an upper region.
The adapter has at least one latching device with which a corresponding connecting element arranged on the panel support can be fixed in a mounting position on the adapter.
The panel support can be pushed onto the adapter in the longitudinal direction of the frame, and interacting snap means are formed between the side wall of the adapter and the side wall of the panel support arranged opposite the side wall of the adapter, whereby, when the snap means are released, the panel support is held such that it can be displaced in a linearly limited manner in the release direction.
Such a fixing device is characterized by a low number of parts.
The latching elements on the panel support and on the adapter advantageously enable in a simple manner firstly the unlocking of the connecting elements of the panel support during the release of the panel with the panel support from the adapter, wherein the panel together with the panel support is prevented from falling out of the adapter.
Advantageous embodiment variants of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
According to an advantageous embodiment variant of the invention, at least one catch element of the catch arrangement is formed as an elastically resilient fixing web or fixing lug.
Both such fixing lugs and such fixing webs can be attached in a simple manner, in particular formed on the adapter or the panel support.
According to another embodiment variant, the adapter has two side walls, wherein a first of the side walls is fixed on the frame and a second of the side walls is fixed on the first of the side walls.
As a result, a particularly precise guidance of the adapter in the panel support can be achieved.
According to another embodiment variant, a first one of the snap means has two fixing lugs which are arranged close to one another on the adapter in the direction of the release position, and a second one of the snap means, which interacts with the fixing lugs, has two fixing webs which enter from the side surfaces of the panel support inwards into the intermediate space between the side walls of the panel support and delimit the intermediate space.
The fixing web is particularly preferably formed on the panel support.
Furthermore, the fixing lug is preferably formed on the adapter.
According to another preferred embodiment variant, at least one support surface arranged vertically to the side walls is formed between two side walls of the panel support that are close to each other and aligned parallel to each other, said support surface being at a greater distance from the panel in the longitudinal direction of the frame than at least one connecting element of the panel support (2).
The support surface is used here for the exact vertical positioning of the panel support on the adapter and can also be formed on the panel support in a simple manner.
According to an advantageous embodiment variant of the invention, a cover slides on the panel support, the cover having: two cover walls at least partially overlapping the side walls of the panel support, a connecting web connecting the side walls to each other, and a securing tab extending from the connecting web parallel to the panel in the direction of a free end of the cover walls.
This makes it possible to cover at least a part of the technology of the side frame in a simple manner to prevent it from being soiled and to enhance the aesthetic appearance.
In a preferred refinement, in order to fix the cover against displacement in the longitudinal direction of the side frame from the opening in the region of the end face of the panel support facing the panel, a finger arranged elastically in the longitudinal direction of the frame projects into the opening, with which finger the fixing tab of the cover projecting into the opening can be pressed against the surface of the panel facing the panel support.
The fingers are preferably fixed to or formed as part of the panel support.
To secure the cover against lifting off the panel support, a catch web is formed on the free end of one of the cover walls to lock with a catch receptacle of the panel support, adapter or frame.
In a method according to the invention for releasing a panel from a frame using a fixing device as described above, the following method steps are performed:
a. unlocking the at least one connecting element of the panel support from the at least one catch by actuating the unlocking means,
b. the locking between the adapter and the panel support is released by raising the panel support,
c. displacing the panel support to which the panel is fixed in the release direction.
With the method for releasing a panel support from an adapter according to the invention it can be ensured that the panel support cannot slide down from the adapter after releasing the panel support from its locking terminal position.
Merely raising the panel support relative to the adapter enables the panel to be completely removed from the adapter along with the panel support.
According to a preferred embodiment variant of the method according to the invention, the wedge slide is locked in the unlocked position at the end of the displacement movement by means of a catch element arranged on the first wedge slide on the catch point of the adapter.
The subsequent mounting of the panel and the panel support on the adapter is thus facilitated in a simple manner.

Detailed Description
In the following description of the drawings, terms such as upper, lower, left, right, front, rear, etc. relate exclusively to exemplary illustrations and positions selected in the respective figures of a fixture, panel, frame, panel support, adapter, connecting element, wedge shoe, fixing lug, fixing web, etc. These terms should not be construed as limiting, i.e., these references may vary for various operating positions or mirror-symmetrical designs, etc.
In fig. 1 and 2, the drawer is designated as a whole by reference numeral 1. The drawer 1 has two side frames 4, a rear wall 3 and a panel 2 fixed to the side frames 4.
The panel 2 is fixed to the side frame 4 by means of fixing means so that the panel 2 can be adjusted vertically in direction Z and also laterally in direction X relative to the side frame 4.
For this purpose, immediately behind the panel 2, which covers the side frame 4 in front, cut- outs 41, 42 are provided in the outer wall of the side frame 4, through which cut- outs 41, 42 the tool enters the respective adjusting means for vertical or lateral adjustment.
Furthermore, the release element 66 can be identified by the recess 41 in fig. 1 and 2.
The release element 66 and preferably the vertical adjustment element 73 and the lateral adjustment element 74 are part of a fixing device 10, as will be described in more detail below on the basis of fig. 3 to 11, and by means of which the panel 2 can be fixed on the respective side frame 4 of the drawer 1.
As shown in fig. 3, 4 and 6, the fixing device 10 has a panel support 7 which can be arranged on the panel 2 and an adapter 6, said adapter 6 being arrangeable on the frame 4 and the panel support 7 being fixable on said adapter 6.
In the embodiment variant shown here, the panel support 7 is designed as a U-bent sheet metal part, on the closed end face of which openings are provided for guiding through connecting elements (for example screws for fixing the panel 2).
The opposite open end face of the panel support 7 is intended to receive the adapter 6, the panel support 7 being able to be pushed onto the adapter 6 together with the panel 2 during mounting of the panel 2 on the frame 4 of the drawer 1.
The panel support 7 also has two connecting elements 72, which two connecting elements 72 are received between the side walls 71 of the panel support 7 arranged parallel to one another and are fixed in place extending in the X direction in receptacle openings provided for the purpose of the side walls 71 of the panel support 7.
The adapter 6 has at least one side wall 61 on which a mounting base 618 is formed for securing to the frame 4. The mounting base 618 here preferably extends into a bottom channel of the frame 4, on which the base 5 of the drawer 1 can be fixed.
In the preferred embodiment variant shown here, the adapter 6 has a second side wall 62, said second side wall 62 being fixed, for example screwed or riveted, to the first side wall 61. The shape of the second side wall 62 corresponds here to a mirror image of the shape of the first side wall 61 of the adapter 6, except for the mounting base 618 which is not provided.
It is also conceivable to form the adapter 6 with only one side wall.
Two latching devices with corresponding wedge-shaped sliding blocks 63, 64 are arranged between the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6, with which two latching devices a corresponding connecting element 72 arranged on the panel support 7 can be fixed in a mounting position on the adapter 6.
Depending on the height of the panel support, it is also conceivable to provide more than two connecting elements 72 on the panel support 7, and a number of latching devices with corresponding wedge slides 63, 64 corresponding to the number of connecting elements 72.
Fig. 3 shows the adapter 6 with the front side wall 61 omitted to illustrate the arrangement of the wedge shaped slides 63, 64 and their shape.
Each of the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6 has two retaining grooves 611, 612, 621, 622 in which the connecting element 72 of the panel support 7 is inserted into the mounting position of the adapter 6 and the panel support 7. The fixed position of the connecting element 72 in the retaining grooves 611, 612, 621, 622 is shown in fig. 3.
As can also be seen from fig. 3, the wedge shoes 63, 64 are coupled to an unlocking device 66 for the catch device, with which unlocking device 66 the wedge shoes 63, 64 can be moved between a securing position shown in fig. 3 and a release position shown in fig. 4.
The wedge shoes 63, 64 are held linearly displaceable on the adapter 6. To this end, each of the wedge shoes 63, 64 has at least one guide cam 636, 646 which is guided in a respective guide groove 613, 614, 623, 624 of the side wall 61, 62 of the adapter. The guide grooves 613, 614, 623, 624 are implemented as rectangular holes extending in the Z direction.
To adjust the wedge shoes 63, 64 from the fixing position to the release position, a tool, for example a screwdriver, can be used to actuate the unlocking means 66 from the outside of the frame 4.
The unlocking means 66 preferably have a wheel, which in the preferred embodiment variant shown here is embodied as a toothed wheel, which is arranged rotatably on the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6 about a rotational axis aligned perpendicular to the surfaces of the side walls 61, 62.
The gear wheel engages with its teeth in the drive edge 631 (here formed as a toothed rack) of the first wedge shoe 63 and is thus caused by the rotation of the gear wheel in the counterclockwise direction in the exemplary embodiment shown to displace the first wedge shoe 63 in the direction of the release position of the wedge shoes 63, 64, in the exemplary embodiment shown here in the upward Z direction.
As can also be seen from fig. 3 and 4, the first wedge shoe 63 has a guide web 634, which guide web 634 contacts the lower edge of the second wedge shoe 64 during the upward displacement and also moves the wedge shoe 64 during the further upward movement of the first wedge shoe 63.
In order to hold the two wedge shoes 63, 64 in a fixed position without the action of external forces, a spring element 65, preferably in the form of a helical compression spring, is placed on the guide webs 634, 644, which spring element presses the wedge shoes 63, 64 in the fixed position while supporting them on the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6.
Each of the wedge-shaped sliders 63, 64 further comprises a respective fixing groove 622, 632 in which the respective connecting element 72 of the panel support 7 is received in the fixing position and thus prevents the connecting element 72 from moving in the release direction L.
As shown in fig. 4, the displacement of the wedge-shaped sliders 63, 64 to the release position causes the connecting element 72 to be released to move in the release direction L, which enables the panel support 7 to be detached from the adapter 6 in the release direction L.
In order to be able to pretension the wedge sliders 63, 64 in the release position, the first wedge slider 63 coupled to the unlocking device 66 can be locked in the release position.
For this purpose, as shown in fig. 4, 5 and 6, latching points 617 are provided on the side walls 61 of the adapter 6, in which latching points 617 latching elements 635 arranged on the first wedge sled 63 can be latched. The latched position is shown enlarged in detail in fig. 5.
In order to be able to lock the detent element 635 of the first wedge sled 63 in this detent point 617, the guide cam 636 of the first wedge sled 63 is preferably formed as a pivot bearing of the first wedge sled 63.
After displacement into the release position, the wedge slider 63 can thus pivot slightly about the guide cam 636 in the direction of the panel support 7.
The pivoting movement is effected here on the one hand by the force component of the gear coupling between the teeth of the unlocking means 66 and the teeth of the drive edge 631 of the first wedge carriage 63.
At the same time, the wedge carriage 63 is guided during its movement from the securing position into the release position by the catch element 635 coming into contact with the walls of the recess in the side wall 61 running parallel to the guide grooves 613, 614, so that the wedge carriage 63 can first be pivoted into the catch point 617 in the direction of the panel support 7 when the catch point 617 is reached.
With the fixing device 10 designed in this way, it is possible to fix the panel 2 and the frame 4, so that the panel 2 can be fixed by a single placing movement parallel to the normal in the front surface of the panel 2.
By placing the panel support 7 on the adapter 6, the panel support 7 together with the panel 2 fixed thereon can be pushed onto the adapter 6 against the release direction L.
The connecting elements 72 enter the retaining grooves 611, 612, 621, 622 in the front side of the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6 facing the panel support 7 until one of the connecting elements 72 contacts the control edge 637 of the first wedge slider 63.
The latching element 635 is pressed out of the latching point 617 of the adapter 6 by further advancement of the panel support 7 and thus of the connecting element 72 and the accompanying pivoting movement of the first wedge carriage 63 about the guide cam 636 of the first wedge carriage 63.
The wedge-shaped slides 63, 64 are then triggered by the spring force of the spring element 65 to move downwards into the securing position. The wedge-shaped slides 63, 64 overlap the connecting element 72 such that the connecting element is fixed in the respective fixing grooves 622, 632 of the respective wedge-shaped slides 63, 64 and the respective retaining grooves 611, 612, 621, 622 of the side walls 61, 62 of the adapter 6.
The panel support 7 is thus fixed to the adapter 6.
In releasing the panel 2 from the frame 4 with such a fixing device 10, first, the first connecting element 72 is unlocked by displacing the first wedge slider 63 by actuating the release element 66.
Subsequently, the second connecting element 72 is unlocked by displacing the second wedge sled 64. The displacement of the second wedge shoe 64 is performed by a continuous displacement of the first wedge shoe 63.
In order to prevent the panel support 7 from accidentally falling out of the adapter 6 with the panel 2 fixed thereto, as further shown in fig. 6 to 11, interacting snap means are formed at least between one side wall 61, 62 of the adapter 6 and at least one side wall 71, 75 of the panel support 7 arranged opposite thereto.
In this way, the panel support 7 is held displaceably in the release direction L in a linearly limited manner on the adapter 6 in which the latching device is released. The latching means are formed by latching elements 76, 619, 629, which latching elements 76, 619, 629 are resilient in the vertical direction with respect to the side walls of the adapter 6 and/or the panel support 7 and are preferably integrally formed.
Although the adapter substantially corresponding to the height of the panel support 7 in the vertical direction thereof in the z direction is shown in fig. 2 to 10, the adapter 6 shown in fig. 11 is formed in a stepped shape. Here, the area closer to the panel support 7 is formed to be adapted to the vertical extension of the panel support 7. In contrast, the area remote from the panel support 7 has a greater extension in the Z direction than the panel support.
The snap-in means serve to lock the panel support 7 to the adapter 6 in the release position of the latching means.
The latching elements arranged on the panel support 7 are preferably designed in the form of two fixing webs 76. The fixing webs 76 are preferably formed as U-bent tongues which extend from the upper edge of the side walls 71, 75 of the panel support 7 inwardly into the intermediate space between the side walls 71, 75 of the panel support 7 and which delimit this intermediate space in the region of these fixing webs 76.
The fixing lugs 619, 629 of the adapter 6 are preferably formed on the upper ends of the respective side walls 61, 62 of the adapter projecting towards the panel support 7. The fixing lugs 619, 629 are here oriented such that they protrude slightly above the outer surface of the side walls 61, 62.
Thus, the fixing lugs 619, 629 ensure that in the state in which the adapter is pushed in together with the panel support 7, as shown in fig. 8 and 9, the fixing lugs 619, 629 are supported on the side walls of the fixing web 76, and thus the panel support 7 is prevented from being pulled out of the adapter 6.
When the panel support 7 is pushed onto the adapter 6, the fixing lugs 619, 629 are resiliently pressed inwards by the inner parts of the side walls 71, 75 as the panel support 7 is pushed onto the adapter 6 and can thus be guided through the fixing web 76.
In order to be able to completely remove the panel support 7 from the adapter 6 from the position shown in fig. 8 and 9, it is necessary to slightly raise the panel support 7 with respect to the adapter 6. This position is shown in fig. 10.
As can be seen from fig. 10, after the panel support 7 is raised, the fixing web 76 is moved to a position above the fixing lugs 619, 629 so that the panel support 7 can be removed from the adapter 6 in the release direction L in the horizontal direction.
As further shown in fig. 6 to 11, at least one support surface 77 is formed on the front end of the upper edge of the side wall 71, 75 of the panel support 7 facing the adapter 6, which makes it possible to pre-position the connecting element 72 in the vertical direction with respect to the adapter 6 when the panel support 7 is pushed onto the adapter 6.
Furthermore, the connecting element 72 is arranged at a shorter distance from the panel 2 on the side walls 71, 75 in the panel support in the frame longitudinal direction Y than from the support surface 77.
The support surfaces 77 are preferably also formed as sheet metal tongues which are bent towards each other from the respective side walls 71, 75 of the panel support 7.
Another embodiment variant of the fixing device is described below on the basis of fig. 12 to 15.
As shown in fig. 14, a hood 8 for covering a part of the technology of the side frame is slid on the panel support 7.
As shown in fig. 13, the cover 8 is of substantially U-shaped design in cross-section and can easily be slid over the panel support from above.
The cover 8 has: two lid walls 81, 82 at least partially overlapping the side walls 71 of the panel support 7; a connecting web 83 connecting the side walls 81, 82 to each other, which connecting web 83 overlaps, in the mounted state, an upper edge of the panel support 7 extending horizontally in the longitudinal direction L of the side frame 4; and a securing tab 84 which preferably slopes vertically downwards from the connecting web 83 and extends parallel to the panel 2 in the direction of the free end of the lid wall 81, 82.
The length of the cover lid 8 in the longitudinal direction L of the side frame 4 can be dimensioned such that it extends not only over the panel support 7 or a part thereof, but also away from the panel 2 or partially over the adapter 6 and possibly into a part of the side frame 4 adjacent to the adapter 6.
The fixing tab 84 is used to fix the cover 8 against displacement in the longitudinal direction L of the side frame 4.
As shown in the example in fig. 12, for this purpose, a finger 78 which is arranged elastically in the frame longitudinal direction projects into the opening 79 at the opening 79 in the region of the end face of the panel support 7 facing the panel 2, with which finger 78 a fixing tab 84 which projects into the opening 79 can be pressed against the surface of the panel 2 facing the panel support 7.
The material thickness of the securing tab 84 is dimensioned such that, under the force of the finger 78, the contact surface of the securing tab 84 facing the panel 2 only reaches the plane defined by the contact surface of the panel support 7 on the panel 2.
The spring force of the fingers 78 points in the direction of the panel 2 and additionally ensures that the cover 8 is always supported flat on the rear of the panel 2 after sliding on the panel support 7.
The finger 78 is preferably fixed to the panel support 7 or formed as part of the panel support 7.
In order to fix the cover lid 8 against being lifted, as shown in fig. 15, a latching web 87 is formed on the free end of one of the lid walls 81, 82 of the cover lid 8 to latch with a latching receptacle of the panel support 7, adapter 6 or frame 4, preferably in the rear region of one of the lid walls remote from the panel 2 (in fig. 15, the lid wall 82 close to the drawer interior).
As further shown in fig. 13 and 15, the free lower edge of the lid wall 82 is bent substantially perpendicularly inwardly, i.e. towards the lid wall 81, in the region closer to the panel 2 and preferably serves as a fixing web 85.
The free lower edge of the oppositely situated cover wall 81 is preferably formed over its entire length on the inside as a press web 86. For this purpose, the lower free ends of the cover walls are bent parallel offset and preferably supported on the outer wall of the frame 4 after the mounting of the cover lid 8.
In particular, using the above-mentioned fixing means, the snap means enable simple and safe release of the panel 2 from the frame 4.
In a first method step for releasing the panel 2 from the panel 4, the first connecting element 72 of the panel support 7 is unlocked by displacing the first wedge-shaped slider 63 by actuating the release element of the unlocking device 66.
Subsequently, the second wedge sled 64 is displaced by displacing the first wedge sled 63 to unlock the second connection element 72.
In this position, the panel support 7 has been displaced slightly in the release direction L relative to the adapter 6, but cannot yet be removed further in the release direction L, because in this position further displacement of the panel support 7 is prevented by the securing webs 76 engaging behind the securing lugs 619, 629.
Accordingly, in a third method step, the locking between the adapter 6 and the panel support 7 is released by raising the panel support 7 and finally removing the panel support 7 with the panel 2 fixed thereto from the adapter 6.
