本发明公开了一种显示装置及其装配方法，属于显示技术领域。包括：显示面板、指纹识别模组、指纹识别柔性电路板和封框胶；指纹识别模组位于显示面板的非显示侧，指纹识别模组包括指纹识别区域和围绕指纹识别区域的周边区域，周边区域设置有第一连接端子；指纹识别柔性电路板具有第二连接端子，第二连接端子与第一连接端子电连接；封框胶至少部分位于显示面板和指纹识别模组的周边区域之间，用于粘结指纹识别模组和显示面板；其中，封框胶在显示面板上的正投影靠近指纹识别柔性电路板的一侧具有至少一个开口，至少一个开口与指纹识别柔性电路板在显示面板上的正投影至少部分重叠。本申请降低了显示面板出现压痕和损伤的几率。
