Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of Chinese herbal medicines, and particularly relates to an antihypertensive composition and application thereof.
Background
The Chinese cardiovascular disease report 2018 indicates that 2.9 million patients with cardiovascular diseases exist in China, wherein 2.45 million patients with hypertension account for about 84.5 percent of the total number of patients. Hypertension is complicated with high-risk diseases such as cerebral apoplexy, left ventricular hypertrophy, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, heart failure, hypertensive renal injury, hypertension fundus damage and the like besides symptoms such as headache, dizziness, tinnitus, palpitation and the like. Due to the large patient base and serious complications, hypertension has become an epidemic disease seriously threatening the physical health of people.
Traditional Chinese medicine classifies hypertension into four types. (1) Hyperactivity of liver yang with symptoms of vertigo, tinnitus, distending pain of head, flush face, sharp noise, irritability, less sleep, dreaminess, bitter taste, red tongue, yellow tongue fur, wiry pulse, and vexation and anger aggravation; (2) stagnation of turbid phlegm in the middle energizer manifested by vertigo, heaviness of the head, chest distress, nausea, even vomiting, phlegm, saliva, poor appetite, somnolence, white and greasy tongue coating, and soft and smooth pulse; (3) deficiency of qi and blood, manifested by vertigo, fatigue, aggravation of movement, lusterless complexion, palpitation, insomnia, pale lips and nails, short breath, fatigue, no speaking desire, diet deficiency, pale tongue, and thready and weak pulse; (4) the symptoms of kidney essence deficiency include vertigo, listlessness, insomnia, dreaminess, amnesia, soreness of waist and knees, spermatorrhea, and tinnitus.
Aiming at different symptoms, patients need to take different antihypertensive oral medicines for a long time, and the antihypertensive effect of the oral medicines is good, but the side effect is obvious. For example, the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide can cause a decrease in blood potassium, an increase in uric acid, male erectile dysfunction or hyposexuality; angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI drugs, such as captopril) cause hypotension, hyperkalemia, cough, angioedema, and renal function deterioration in the first dose; angiotensin II receptor antagonists can cause dizziness, cough, and weakness; calcium antagonists may also cause headache, edema, flushing, etc.; side effects of beta-blockers include bronchial, heart failure, atrioventricular block, bradycardia, glycolipid metabolic disorders; the side effects of alpha 1 receptor blockers include first dose phenomena, severe orthostatic hypotension, dizziness, palpitations, and rapid drug resistance phenomena.
In conclusion, hypertension is treated only slowly, but oral medicines can bring partial toxic and side effects, and the medicines need to be taken for a lifetime, which brings inconvenience to life of patients.
