Abstract
The invention discloses a flame retardant capable of being used at low temperature and a preparation method thereof, which is characterized in that the flame retardant is calcium chloride solution with the concentration of 5-40%. The fire retardant is pure water soluble transparent clear liquid, and is easy to store and transport, and safe and reliable to use. Can be used as a fire extinguishing fire retardant for removing electric fire, can also be used as a fire retardant additive for various fabrics, and can also be used as a fire retardant additive for various substances needing fire prevention and fire retardation, such as various furniture, plates, paper products and the like. Through professional detection, the flame retardant grade can reach the national standard GB8624B1 grade. The smoke yield of the paper products and the textiles treated by the method is 5-6, which is greatly less than or equal to 750 (%. min) specified by the standard; the height (Fs) of the flame tip in 20S (seconds) is 30-32 mm which is far lower than the standard specification and is less than or equal to 150 mm. The flame retardant can be used in the temperature range of not lower than-55 ℃ at ambient temperature.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to an inorganic flame retardant or a fire extinguishing agent, in particular to a flame retardant which can be used at low temperature and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The calcium chloride is widely applied as a fire retardant for fabrics, but mainly takes a mixture which mainly comprises a formula and additive components as a main component and is used as a fire retardant. Chinese patent application No. 201710467111.7 entitled "a fire-fighting material and process for producing the same", discloses "1-5 parts by weight of calcium chloride", which is apparently not the main flame retardant component. Chinese patent application No. 201410631340.4 entitled "a flame-retardant wood-based panel", discloses that calcium chloride solution is added to wood flour as the main binding and flame-retardant substance to make wood-based panel. The end result is also a solid which solidifies with the wood flour as a binder and flame retardant for the wood flour. The flame-retardant and fireproof effects and effects of the liquid cannot be reflected. The inventors of the present invention have conducted extensive studies and experiments to further develop the flame-retardant and fireproof effects of the calcium chloride solution, and have provided the object of the present invention.

The invention aims to overcome the defects. Namely, a flame retardant which can be used at a low temperature and a method for producing the same are provided.
The technical solution of the present invention is achieved by a flame retardant that can be used at low temperatures and a method for manufacturing the same, characterized in that the flame retardant is a calcium chloride solution with a concentration of 5% to 40%.
The beneficial technical effects of the invention are as follows: the fire retardant is pure water-soluble transparent clear liquid, is easy to store and transport, and is safe and reliable to use. 50 g of calcium chloride is dissolved in 950 ml of water at normal temperature to obtain a calcium chloride aqueous solution with the mass concentration of 5%.
Example 2
100 g of calcium chloride is dissolved in 900 ml of water at normal temperature to obtain a calcium chloride aqueous solution with the mass concentration of 10%.
Example 3
150 g of calcium chloride is dissolved in 850 ml of water at normal temperature to obtain a calcium chloride aqueous solution with the mass concentration of 15%.
Example 4
200 g of calcium chloride is dissolved in 800 ml of water at normal temperature to obtain a calcium chloride aqueous solution with the mass concentration of 20%.
Example 5
250 g of calcium chloride is dissolved in 750 ml of water at normal temperature to obtain a calcium chloride water solution with the mass concentration of 25%.
Example 6
300 g of calcium chloride is dissolved in 700 ml of water at normal temperature to obtain a calcium chloride aqueous solution with the mass concentration of 30%.
Example 7
350 g of calcium chloride is dissolved in 650 ml of water at normal temperature to obtain a calcium chloride aqueous solution with the mass concentration of 35%.
Example 8
400 g of calcium chloride is dissolved in 600 ml of water to obtain a calcium chloride aqueous solution with the mass concentration of 40%.
The calcium chloride solution can be safely used at a low temperature in the temperature range of not less than-55 ℃ under the environmental temperature. Provides reliable water-soluble flame retardant and fire extinguishing flame retardant for fire extinguishing and flame retarding in low temperature environment. The flame retardant and fire extinguishing agent is particularly used for all-weather flame retardant and fire extinguishing in low-temperature environments such as large forest areas and open coal mines in northern China, and has great popularization and application values.
The water is preferably treated deionized water. The calcium chloride can be anhydrous calcium chloride or calcium chloride dihydrate, and the flame-retardant and fire-extinguishing effects are basically consistent.

1. A flame retardant which can be used at low temperatures, characterized in that the flame retardant is a calcium chloride solution with a concentration of 5% to 40%.
2. A flame retardant that can be used at low temperatures according to claim 1, characterized in that the calcium chloride concentration of the flame retardant is 10% to 38%.
3. A flame retardant that can be used at low temperatures according to claim 1, characterized in that the calcium chloride concentration of the flame retardant is 15% to 35%.
4. A flame retardant that can be used at low temperatures according to claim 1, characterized in that the calcium chloride concentration of the flame retardant is 20% to 30%.
5. A method of using a flame retardant that can be used at low temperatures according to claim, characterized in that the solution is used at ambient temperatures not lower than the temperature range of-55 ℃.
6. A method for manufacturing a flame retardant usable at a low temperature according to claim 1, characterized in that 5 to 40% by mass of calcium chloride is dissolved in 60 to 95% by mass of water.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein 10-38% by weight of calcium chloride is dissolved in 90-95% by weight of water.
8. The method for preparing a flame retardant for use at ultra-low temperatures as claimed in claim 6, wherein 15-35% by mass of calcium chloride is dissolved in 65-85% by mass of water.
9. The method of claim 6, wherein 20-32% by weight of calcium chloride is dissolved in 68-80% by weight of water.
10. The method of claim 6, wherein 25 to 30% by weight of calcium chloride is dissolved in 70 to 75% by weight of water.
