Abstract
The invention relates to a side armrest of an automobile seat, which comprises an angle adjuster and a zipper, wherein the angle adjuster comprises a ratchet wheel and a pawl which are respectively and rotatably arranged on a base, the ratchet wheel is provided with ratchet wheel teeth, the pawl is provided with pawl teeth, the ratchet wheel teeth and the pawl teeth are meshed to limit the locking state of the angle adjuster, the ratchet wheel is provided with an unlocking handle, the pawl is provided with an unlocking stop block, the unlocking stop block is abutted by the unlocking handle to push the pawl to be separated from the ratchet wheel to realize unlocking, and the zipper is connected with the pawl to pull the pawl to be separated from the ratchet wheel to realize unlocking. The automobile seat side armrest is simple in structure, the locking state of the angle adjuster can be unlocked through rotation of the ratchet wheel relative to the pawl, and the locking state of the angle adjuster can also be unlocked through the zipper, so that a larger stroke can be realized. In the case of a motor vehicle seat with a tiltable backrest, the side arm rests can be flattened in the inverted position in order to facilitate the resting of the elbows of the occupant.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a vehicle seat, and more particularly to a vehicle seat side armrest.
Background
Vehicle seats are usually equipped with side armrests, which can be angularly adjusted by means of an angular adjustment mechanism. Generally, the angle adjusting mechanism has more parts, a complex structure and a small adjusting stroke, and is difficult to meet the requirements. For example, in a car seat in which the backrest can be tipped, the side arm rests can be laid flat in the normal use state, but can be tilted up (have an inclination angle from the horizontal position) in the tipped-over state, thereby causing inconvenience to the occupant.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the above problems in the prior art, the present invention provides a side armrest for a vehicle seat.
The automobile seat side armrest comprises an angle adjuster and a pull lock, wherein the angle adjuster comprises a ratchet wheel and a pawl which are respectively and rotatably mounted on a base, the ratchet wheel is provided with ratchet wheel teeth, the pawl is provided with pawl teeth, the ratchet wheel teeth and the pawl teeth are meshed to limit a locking state of the angle adjuster, the ratchet wheel is provided with an unlocking handle, the pawl is provided with an unlocking stop block, the unlocking stop block is abutted by the unlocking handle to push the pawl to be separated from the ratchet wheel to realize unlocking, and the pull lock is connected with the pawl to pull the pawl to be separated from the ratchet wheel to realize unlocking.
Preferably, the ratchet and the pawl are locked in the design position, the ratchet being rotatable in a first direction and a second direction, opposite to each other, from the design position in the unlocked state with respect to the pawl, respectively.
Preferably, the length of engagement of the ratchet teeth and the pawl teeth defines the angle of geared adjustment of the vehicle seat side armrest.
Preferably, the pawl further has a pawl arm spaced from the unlocking stop, the pawl arm being urged by the unlocking lever against the pawl arm to return the pawl to the locked condition.
Preferably, the pawl has a wire harness attachment stem remote from the pawl arm, and the zipper is attached to the wire harness attachment stem.
Preferably, the ratchet wheel is provided with a stop point, and the stop point is abutted with the base to realize the stop of the ratchet wheel.
Preferably, the ratchet is rotatably mounted on the base by a ratchet shaft and the pawl is rotatably mounted on the base by a pawl shaft.
Preferably, the base comprises an upper sheet metal, a lower sheet metal and a pin, wherein the upper sheet metal and the lower sheet metal are arranged to be spaced apart from each other by the pin, and the ratchet and the pawl are received in rotational cooperation therebetween.
Preferably, the side arm rests of the car seat further comprise an upper cover and a lower cover defining a cavity in which the recliner is mounted.
Preferably, the automobile seat side armrest further comprises a framework installed in the cavity, the angle adjuster is connected with the framework, and the framework is connected with the lower cover.
The automobile seat side armrest is simple in structure, the locking state of the angle adjuster can be unlocked through rotation of the ratchet wheel relative to the pawl, and the locking state of the angle adjuster can also be unlocked through the zipper, so that a larger stroke can be realized. In the case of a motor vehicle seat with a tiltable backrest, the side arm rests can be flattened in the inverted position in order to facilitate the resting of the elbows of the occupant.

Detailed Description
The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 1, the side armrest for a vehicle seat according to the present invention includes an upper cover 1 and a lower cover 2, which are fastened by snap-fitting and define a cavity. The automobile seat side armrest further comprises a covering layer 3 which is fixedly connected to the upper cover 1 to provide a good tactile sensation to the automobile seat side armrest. In order to realize the angle adjusting function, the automobile seat side armrest further comprises an angle adjuster 4, a fastener 5, a framework 6, a buckle 7, a zipper 8 and a handle 9, wherein the angle adjuster 4 is connected with the framework 6 through the fastener 5, the framework 6 is connected with the lower cover 2 through the four buckles 7, so that the angle adjuster 4 and the framework 6 are fixedly installed in a cavity between the upper cover 1 and the lower cover 2, and the handle 9 is connected with the angle adjuster 4 through the zipper 8, so that the handle 9 acts on the angle adjuster 4. In this embodiment, the upper cover 1 and the lower cover 2 are formed of plastic, the covering layer 3 is made of foam, the fastening member 5 is a fastening screw, the frame 6 is a metal frame, and the buckle 7 is a metal buckle.
As shown in fig. 2, the recliner 4 according to the present invention includes a base 41, a ratchet wheel 42, a ratchet shaft 43, a pawl 44 and a pawl shaft 45, wherein the ratchet wheel 42 is rotatably mounted on the base 41 through the ratchet shaft 43, the pawl 44 is rotatably mounted on the base 41 through the pawl shaft 45, and the ratchet wheel 42 and the pawl 44 cooperate to achieve locking and unlocking of the vehicle seat side armrest. Specifically, the base includes an upper sheet metal 411, a lower sheet metal 412 and pins 413, wherein the upper sheet metal 411 and the lower sheet metal 412 are disposed spaced apart from each other by three pins 413 with the ratchet wheel 42 and the pawl 44 received therebetween in rotational engagement. The recliner 4 may also include two bushings 46 disposed on the upper and lower plates 411 and 412, respectively, around the ratchet shaft 43 to provide a lubricating function. The recliner 4 further includes an omega spring 47 disposed between the base 41 and the pawl 44 to provide a return function for the pawl 44.
As shown in fig. 3, the ratchet wheel 42 has ratchet teeth 421 and the pawl 44 has pawl teeth 441, which are engaged with each other to define the locked state of the recliner 4. The ratchet wheel 42 has an unlocking handle 422, and the pawl 44 has an unlocking stopper 442 and a pawl arm 443 spaced apart from each other, and unlocking is performed by the pawl 44 being pushed away from the ratchet wheel 42 by the unlocking handle 422 abutting the unlocking stopper 442, and returning to the locked state by the pawl 44 being pushed away by the unlocking handle 422 abutting the pawl arm 443. The ratchet wheel 42 has a stop point 423, and the interference with the base 41 can realize the stop of the ratchet wheel 42. The pawl 44 also has a harness attachment shank 444 remote from the pawl arm 443 that is connected to the pull latch 8 (see fig. 1) so that the pawl 44 can be pulled by the catch 9 (see fig. 1) away from the ratchet wheel 42 for unlocking.
As shown in fig. 4, in the normal position of the backrest, the vehicle seat side armrest mounted on the backrest is first in the horizontal position (0 °) in the left view so that the occupant can rest his elbow, and is adjusted upward by an external force F1 for 20 ° steps (5 steps, 4 ° steps), to the unlocked position (20 °) shown in the middle view, and is further adjusted upward by an external force F1 for 92 ° steps without any shift, to the stowed position (112 °) shown in the right view.
As shown in fig. 5, in the horizontal position (0 °) of the upper drawing, when the ratchet wheel 42 and the pawl 44 are locked at the design position, the external force F1 acts on the base 41, the ratchet wheel 42 rotates clockwise 20 ° relative to the pawl 44 from the design position under the engaged state of the ratchet wheel teeth 421 and the pawl teeth 441 to reach the critical position (20 °) of the upper drawing, the unlocking handle 422 interferes with the unlocking stopper 442, the pawl 44 disengages from the ratchet wheel 42 to realize unlocking, the unlocking position of the middle drawing is reached, the recliner 4 continues to adjust upwards without gear by 92 ° under the continued action of the external force F1, and the stop point 423 of the ratchet wheel 42 interferes with the pin 413 of the base 41 to realize stopping of the ratchet wheel 42 to reach the retracted position (112 °) of the lower drawing. The unlocking lever 422 abuts against the pawl arm 443 by the external force F2, the pawl 44 is latched back to the original position, and the vehicle seat side armrest can be returned downward to the horizontal initial position (0 °).
In the backrest-reclined position, as shown in fig. 6, the vehicle seat side arm rest mounted on the backrest is first in the raised position (48 °) in the upper drawing, and after being downwardly adjusted by-48 ° by an external force, the vehicle seat side arm rest reaches the horizontal position (0 °) in the middle drawing so that the occupant can rest his elbow, and the vehicle seat side arm rest is upwardly adjusted by 160 ° by an external force F1 to reach the stowed position (160 °) in the lower drawing.
As shown in fig. 7, in the tilted position (48 °) of the upper drawing, the ratchet wheel 42 and the pawl 44 are locked in the design position, the external force F3 is released from the ratchet wheel 42 after pulling the pawl 44 to rotate 10 ° by the zipper 8, and the upper drawing unlocked position is reached, the external force F2 is applied to the base 41, and the ratchet wheel 42 rotates 48 ° counterclockwise from the design position with respect to the pawl 44, and the horizontal position (0 °) of the upper drawing is reached. Claims (10)
1. An automobile seat comprising an automobile seat side armrest mounted on a backrest, wherein the automobile seat side armrest has a raised position, a horizontal position and a stowed position; in the normal position of the backrest, the side armrest of the automobile seat is adjusted to a retracting position upwards after being unlocked from the horizontal position; in the backrest overturning position, the side armrest of the automobile seat is unlocked from the tilting position and then downwards adjusted to the horizontal position; the automobile seat side armrest comprises an angle adjuster and a pull lock, wherein the angle adjuster comprises a ratchet wheel and a pawl which are respectively and rotatably mounted on a base, the ratchet wheel and the pawl are locked at a design position, the ratchet wheel is provided with ratchet teeth, the pawl is provided with pawl teeth, the ratchet teeth and the pawl teeth are meshed at the horizontal position and the tilting position to limit a locking state of the angle adjuster, the ratchet wheel is provided with an unlocking handle, the pawl is provided with an unlocking stop block, the unlocking stop block is abutted by the unlocking handle to push the pawl to be separated from the ratchet wheel to realize unlocking, so that the automobile seat side armrest is adjusted upwards from the horizontal position, and the pull lock is connected with the pawl to pull the pawl to be separated from the ratchet wheel to realize unlocking, so that the automobile seat side armrest is adjusted downwards from the tilting position.
2. The car seat of claim 1, wherein the ratchet is rotatable in an unlocked state relative to the pawl from a design position in first and second directions, respectively, the first and second directions being opposite, the ratchet being rotatable in the first direction relative to the pawl to the horizontal position, the ratchet being rotatable in the second direction relative to the pawl to the stowed position.
3. The vehicle seat of claim 1, wherein the length of engagement of the ratchet teeth and the pawl teeth defines an angle of geared adjustment of the vehicle seat side armrest.
4. The vehicle seat of claim 1, wherein the pawl further has a pawl arm spaced from the unlatching stop, the pawl arm being urged against the pawl arm by the unlatching lever to return the pawl to the latched condition.
5. The vehicle seat of claim 1, wherein the pawl has a wire harness attachment remote from the pawl arm, and the zipper is attached to the wire harness attachment.
6. The car seat of claim 1, wherein the ratchet wheel has a stop point, and the stop point abuts against the base to stop the ratchet wheel.
7. The vehicle seat of claim 1, wherein the ratchet is rotatably mounted to the base by a ratchet shaft and the pawl is rotatably mounted to the base by a pawl shaft.
8. The car seat of claim 1, wherein the base includes an upper sheet metal, a lower sheet metal, and a pin, wherein the upper sheet metal and the lower sheet metal are disposed in spaced relation to one another by the pin, and wherein the ratchet and pawl are received in rotational engagement therebetween.
9. The vehicle seat of claim 1, wherein the vehicle seat side arm rest further comprises an upper cover and a lower cover defining a cavity, the recliner being mounted in the cavity.
10. The vehicle seat of claim 9, wherein the vehicle seat side arm rest further comprises a frame mounted in the cavity, the recliner being connected to the frame, the frame being connected to the lower cover.
