背景技术
企业和个人消费者对带宽的需求持续呈指数级增长。为了有效且经济地满足此需求,数据中心必须实现低损耗预算的超高密度布线。光纤已成为数据中心使用的标准布线介质,以满足对数据量和传输速度不断增长的需求。然而,许多设施,例如传输塔或中继站,需要电连接以及例如电力接收器和发射器。信号塔经常会相对于电信交换设备和电力连接而言远距离定位,从而要求信号导线和电力导线都在信号塔与交换设备之间布设。
提供光纤连接器来连接用于传输光信号以进行数据传输的光纤,而提供电连接器来连接电导线以为任何电动设备供电。虽然使用电导线也可以进行数据传输,但是随着宽带无线设施的数量增加,已经安装了更多光缆来在信号塔与交换设备之间传输数据信号。电数据导线一般与电力线分开布设,以最大程度地减少EMF干扰和屏蔽约束。此类系统的光纤一般也与电力导线分开安装,从而要提供分别的光纤连接器和电力连接器来用于连接光纤和用于连接电力导线。

发明内容
一种连接器系统可以包括适配器和配置成与适配器可拆除地连接的连接器。连接器可以配置成接收各种夹入式附件中的任一种,夹入式附件可以包括不同类型光纤连接器和/或能够传输电力的电连接器,从而提供了模块化系统。在各种实施例中,夹入式附件可以包括但不限于:仅光纤连接器,例如但不限于LC、SC、MPO连接器;电连接器,例如但不限于RJ45连接器、电插座连接器、电缆线或电引脚式连接器;或混合式连接器,在单个夹入式附件中同时包括所列举的光纤连接器和电引脚式连接器中的任一种。
根据一个方面,提供了一种连接器系统,包括外壳和可拆除地联接到外壳的光纤连接器夹插件,插件可拆除地联接到多个连接器,该多个连接器包括光纤连接器和电连接器中至少一个。在一些实施例中,插件可以是夹。此连接器夹组件可以包括挠性翼,其配置成接合连接器外壳的凹口,以便使连接器夹组件联接到连接器外壳。挠性闩锁可以是楔形的。在一些实施例中,连接器外壳的内表面可以键接以配合连接器夹组件的对应表面,以便插件以单一取向与连接器外壳联接。夹还包括盖,以用于将光纤连接器和电缆线固定到可拆除地附接的插件。夹外壳可以是固定顶部缆线和底部缆线的一个部件,或者是围绕夹组件近端的一个部件。夹组件还包括固定到夹组件对应接收表面的卡扣部。

根据一些实施例,连接器系统还可以包括围绕外壳设置的联接螺母。连接器系统可以包括通过联接螺母与外壳联接的适配器。连接器系统还可以包括联接螺母锁定环。在各种实施例中,外壳可以包括前部分和后部分。外壳的后部分可以有螺纹以用于接收缆应变释放构件。
本文公开的连接器系统的各种实施例可以是防渗入连接器系统。此类系统还可以包括至少一个耐候密封件。
根据一些实施例,连接器系统可以包括外壳、与外壳可拆除地联接的插件和与插件可拆除地联接的至少一个连接器,所述至少一个连接器包括光纤连接器和电连接器中的至少一个。连接器可以是LC连接器、SC连接器、MPO连接器、电引脚、电插座或RJ45连接器。

本文所用的术语“光纤”旨在适用于所有类型的单模和多模光波导,包括一个或多个裸光纤、涂覆光纤、松套光纤、紧套光纤、带状光纤、耐弯光纤、弯曲不敏感光纤、纳米结构光纤或任何其他光信号传输手段。多光纤光缆包括多个光纤。此类光缆根据具体用途具有各种名称,在连接到用于使用选择极性与跨接光缆形成连接的光纤模块时可被认为是“主干光缆”或“主干”。

参考图5A,连接器500在远端508沿箭头C2的方向接收光缆格兰头组件460的近端。连接器外部主体具有带凸起表面512的纵向平坦部510(图5B)。近端具有带连接器夹开口(504a,504b)的一对引入部(502a,502b)。开口504b(504a未示出,但位于引入部502a上)接收挠性翼1406a,以将连接器夹组件1400固定在连接器500的近端。连接器夹组件1400保持在适配器900内。凸缘面514与适配器外壳908(参考图9A,图9B)的顶部配合。表面516接收O形圈密封件,以进一步防止环境渗入。以下会描述连接器夹槽道引导部506a。参考图5B,锁定环引导部512确保了在朝向连接器500近端推动时的锁定环600在拧入到卡扣螺母700近端中之前被固持。

参考图6A,锁定环或安全锁定环600的侧视图,确保当环固定在卡扣螺母700远端时卡扣螺母700不旋转。一旦将环600插入到螺母700的远端中,螺母的突出部608的面对表面664(图6C)就置于对应的凹部732中(图7B)。参考图6B,切口(638a,638b)接收连接器500上的凸起表面510(图5B),该凸起表面提供了在压入之前在螺母700远端附近的暂时固持。参考图6C,凹口626接收拆除工具,以将安全螺母600从螺母700的远端松开。
参考图7A,卡扣螺母700的外表面702具有变化的样式,以帮助握持。参考图7B,凹部732接收安全螺母600的近端。参考图7C,弹簧垫圈(未示出)放置在配合表面764上,并且在卡扣螺母处于锁定位置时通过固定在适配器900外壳的对应凹槽902中的销762对卡扣螺母施加朝远侧方向的偏压力。
参考图8,通过螺纹806将锁定螺母800拧到适配器外壳上,具有多个切割刃802a的齿802沿锁定环主体808间隔开,每个齿咬入到面板壳罩(未示出)的外表面中,以将混合式组件500固定。
参考图9A,利用拧到螺纹906上的锁定螺母800,适配器组件900的外壳将混合式IP组件固定到面板上。适配器面906与螺母800位于面板壁的相反两侧上。卡扣螺母700的销762接收在凹槽902中,并且在顺时针转动时,销762置于凹部902a中。随着卡扣螺母700旋转,内螺纹(未示出)与适配器螺纹906啮合以将卡扣螺母700固定到适配器组件900上。参考图9B,适配器组件900的前视图930,包含有夹组件,具有电力引脚140a、凹部(138a,138b)和用于供销762进入对应凹槽902的进入点902b。参考图9C,适配器组件900的远端视图或后视图940示出了适配器插件座942a的后视图942b。座942a接收直插适配器连接器夹插件1000。光纤通路946通过开口946接收光缆。示出了夹1002(图10)的近端。开口946可容纳对准套筒,以在光纤连接器近端处对准并固定插芯。
参考图10,直插适配器连接器夹插件1000包括用于接收光纤连接器的一个或多个端口1004。端口包含对准套筒1006,以接收插芯。夹1006用于将直插适配器连接器夹插件1000固定到适配器900内的座942a上的适配器插件。参考图11,第二直插适配器连接器夹插件1100的远端示出了一对夹(1102a,1102b)和光纤通路1104。通过夹1102a、1102b把第二直插适配器连接器夹插件1100固定在适配器900中。
参考图12,卡扣螺母700具有插入在具有多个光纤连接器1210的组件1200近端的连接器夹组件1400。销762在凹槽902处接合到适配器组件900外表面上的凹槽902中,从而将组件1200连接到适配器900。一旦引入部(502a,502b)对准到适配器900的凹部(138a,138b)中,所示的光纤连接器和电力引脚就将与适配器插件100配合。适配器900然后通过适配器近端930固定到面板壁(未示出)上,凸缘面910在壁的一侧上(准备接收对应的光纤信号和电力)。
参考图13A,引入部502a延伸超过插芯1302,当连接器外壳560插入到适配器900中时延伸部保护插芯尖。闩锁1402被凹部1004a压下,如在标注1304处所示。参考图13B,标注1302示出了置于端口1004中的光纤连接器,引入部502a延伸超过连接器1200的近端。其他标号在本文中已更详细地定义过。
参考图14,连接器夹组件1400插入在连接器500的近端中。翼(1406a,1406b)接合到引入部(502a,502b)中的对应开口(504a,504b)(参考图5C)中,以将组件固定。光纤连接器1402在盖1410下面固定在连接器夹组件1400中,盖如组件1500中所示(图15A)。电力引脚1404同样固定在盖1510下面。组件两侧的卡扣部1404将盖1410固定到连接器夹组件1400的下半部1512上。参考图15A,夹突出部1508接合卡扣部1504,如虚线所示。当凹部1502装配在凸舌1506上时,光纤连接器外壳就固定在盖1510下面。

Claims (20)
1.一种连接器系统,包括:
连接器外壳;以及
连接器夹组件,可拆除地联接在连接器外壳内;
其中,连接器外壳还包括一个或多个引入部,引入部延伸超过插芯,第一引入部的长度不同于第二引入部的长度,第一引入部接合到适配器内相同长度的对应凹部中,第二引入部接合到适配器内相同长度的对应凹部中,以便使连接器对准在适配器内。
2.根据权利要求1所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器夹组件插入到连接器外壳中。
3.根据权利要求1所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器夹组件包括至少一个挠性翼,挠性翼配置成接合构成引入部组成部分的凹部。
4.根据权利要求3所述的连接器系统,其中,挠性翼是楔形的。
5.根据权利要求1所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器外壳的内表面还包括第一切口和第二切口,第一切口和第二切口的大小设定成能够接收连接器夹组件外表面上的对应闩锁,以进一步支撑和键接,从而配合插件的对应表面,以便使插件以单一取向联接到连接器外壳。
6.根据权利要求1所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器外壳包括多个槽道,第一引入部和第二引入部借助对应的槽道与对应的适配器凹部配合,无需肉眼看到或目视第一引入部和第二引入部连接或配合到适配器凹部中,在此称为盲配合。
7.根据权利要求3所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器夹组件的挠性翼配置成接合多个连接器中相应一个连接器的引入部。
8.根据权利要求1所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器夹组件还包括多个光纤连接器,所述多个光纤连接器中的一个是LC连接器或SC连接器。
9.根据权利要求8所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器夹组件是包括多个连接器的混合式配置,所述多个连接器包括至少一个光纤连接器和至少一个电连接器。
10.根据权利要求9所述的连接器系统,其中,所述至少一个光纤连接器是LC连接器、SC连接器和MPO连接器之一,并且所述至少一个电连接器是引脚、电插座和RJ45连接器之一。
11.根据权利要求10所述的连接器系统,其中,混合式的连接器夹组件包括围绕所述至少一个电连接器设置的护套。
12.根据权利要求11所述的连接器系统,其中,混合式的连接器夹组件配置成把所述至少一个光纤连接器和所述至少一个电连接器以叠置布置方式保持。
13.根据权利要求7所述的连接器系统,其中,混合式的连接器夹组件还包括直插适配器连接器夹插件,直插适配器连接器夹插件包括:
底夹部,配置成保持所述至少一个电连接器;以及
顶夹部,抵靠底夹部设置,以便将所述至少一个光纤连接器夹持在底夹部和顶夹部之间。
14.根据权利要求10所述的连接器系统,其中,直插适配器连接器夹插件包括多个开口支架引入部,以接收并固持至少一个光纤连接器。
15.根据权利要求14所述的连接器系统,其中,所述至少一个光纤连接器是MPO连接器。
16.根据权利要求1所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器外壳配置成可拆除地联接到多种不同类型连接器夹组件中的任一种。
17.根据权利要求16所述的连接器系统,其中,所述多种不同类型的插件包括第一连接器夹组件和第二连接器夹组件,
第一连接器夹组件是与至少一个光纤连接器和至少一个电连接器两者联接的混合式组件,并且
第二连接器夹组件仅与至少一个光纤连接器联接。
18.根据权利要求17所述的连接器系统,其中,所述多种不同类型的连接器夹组件还包括仅与至少一个电连接器联接的第三连接器夹组件。
19.根据权利要求1所述的连接器系统,还包括围绕连接器外壳设置的联接螺母。
20.根据权利要求1所述的连接器系统,其中,连接器夹组件是利用卡扣部和凹部把盖和下半部固定在一起的两件式。
