Description

Traditional Chinese medicine formula for treating chronic cough variant asthma of elderly patients and preparation method
Technical Field
The invention relates to a traditional Chinese medicine composition, and in particular relates to a traditional Chinese medicine formula for treating chronic cough variant asthma of an elderly patient and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Cough asthma is a special type of cough variant asthma, and chronic cough is taken as a main clinical manifestation, and the course of disease lasts for more than 4 weeks or even years. The elderly patients are special population with cough asthma, because the immunity and the resistance to diseases of the elderly are far inferior to those of young people, the elderly patients are easy to be misdiagnosed as infectious diseases due to atypical clinical symptoms, and abuse of antibiotics is caused; in turn, abuse of antibiotics can lead to progression of lung disease; if the basic diseases such as hypertension and coronary heart disease are combined, the condition of the old can be more complicated and changeable, and the death rate is increased finally.
Western medicine considers that the disease is caused by interaction of various inflammatory mediators, inflammatory cells and cytokines. In addition, it also includes various factors such as nerve factor, immunity factor, infection factor and genetic factor. Clinically, chronic cough is the main or only symptom, and the cough is usually irritant dry cough with or without a small amount of sticky phlegm, the cough frequency or degree is aggravated at night, and no obvious urgency or asthma exists, but the cough has airway hyperreactivity. In traditional Chinese medicine, the disease is mostly classified into 'asthma' or 'chronic cough', and most doctors think that the pathogenesis of the disease is wind pathogen, and the lung fails to disperse, descend and descend; the cough variant asthma has the clinical characteristics of acute attack, rapid transmission, easy relapse and the like, and is not in conflict with the characteristic of the wind pathogen which is good at going and changes frequently. Wind is the long cause of many diseases and is easy to be accompanied by cold, summer-heat, dampness, dryness, fire and other pathogens; long-term pathogenic wind, which is apt to transform heat into fire and damage body fluids; so the old patients have a long course of disease, and the deficiency of lung qi and the disturbance of dry phlegm to the lung are caused; wind-pathogen determines the progress and prognosis of the disease during the development of the disease, and aggravates the disease course.
At present, the traditional Chinese medicine for treating the senile cough variant asthma (qi deficiency and chronic cough) does not exist, in clinic, hormones, antibiotics and asthma-relieving western medicines or combined cough-relieving and phlegm-reducing traditional Chinese medicines are mostly adopted, the treatment course is long, the condition is prolonged and difficult to cure, the progress of the condition is caused, and the western medicines can generate inevitable side effects after long-term use, so that the disease is easy to repeatedly occur.
