Abstract
The invention discloses a novel material sorting control system which mainly comprises a power supply module, a PLC (programmable logic controller) module, a servo motor control system, a weight detection module, a servo motor module, a servo driver module, a transmission device, a conveying belt 1, a conveying belt 2, a material pushing hand conveying belt, a sorting opening slide, a material pushing hand sliding rod, a small-sized control motor, a proximity switch and a photoelectric induction switch, wherein the servo motor control system operates independently. The invention adopts two servo drivers and servo motors to respectively drive the conveyor belts 1 and the material push handles to move horizontally, and the conveyor belts 1 and 2 are mutually matched, so that materials can enter a sorting area at equal intervals for sorting. The invention provides a complete control system, which can control a material sorting line and realize automatic and accurate sorting of materials.

Background
In a traditional material sorting system, sorting is mostly carried out manually, so that the efficiency is low and the accuracy is low; later, a method of controlling by using a simple relay is low in efficiency, complex in equipment wiring and low in accuracy. In recent years, as the express delivery industry is continuously developed, the requirement on the speed and accuracy of system sorting is higher and higher, and a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is specially designed for industrial application and factory equipment. Utilize programmable controller to control material letter sorting system, can carry out accurate and effectual control to the letter sorting of material. At present, most of material sorting systems adopt a sorting structure that materials are sorted along with the materials, namely, each sorting port where the materials arrive is provided with a pushing handle to push the materials, so that the design cost is greatly increased.
Accordingly, the prior art is yet to be improved and developed.

The control to the servo driver is simple and accurate, so that control parameters can be flexibly set, the control precision is obviously improved, and the control to the material pushing hands and the distance between the materials is very accurate.

The weight detection module outputs analog voltage quantity to the PLC, the photoelectric switch and the proximity switch send signals to the PLC for logic judgment, and the operation/alarm indicator lamp is controlled by the PLC.

The servo motor for controlling the conveyor belt 2 always runs at a constant speed, so that the intervals between the materials on the conveyor belt 1 and the conveyor belt 2 are equal, and the sorting area is guaranteed to only enter one material at a time.
