Abstract

背景技术
由于多种原因,许多车辆仪表盘使用多颜色显示器。然而,在仪表盘上提供多种颜色需要相应的有色光源。提供多种不同颜色但使用单个白色光源的仪表板显示器将是对现有技术的改进。

具体实施方式
图1是用于仪表板的多颜色显示器100的透视图。在图1中,该装置是转速表。显示装置100包括电路板1,电路板1支撑单个白色发光二极管(LED),在其上方是由“柱部分”5和“平坦部分”7组成的一体的透光丙烯酸“基板”。
显示器具有从平坦部分7的顶表面11输出的多颜色光,平坦部分7由柱部分5支撑并附接到柱部分5。顶表面11具有斜切的外围边缘13,其外角由附图标记9标识。
图2是图1所示装置的顶视图。平坦部分7具有顶表面11和相对的底表面12。柱部分5和平坦部分7是由透光丙烯酸或聚碳酸酯制成的一体结构。如本文中所使用的,柱部分5和平坦部分7被认为是透光的丙烯酸或聚碳酸酯基板,其光学地耦合到附接到电路板1的白色光源2。
图3是图1和图2中所示的装置的穿过剖面线A-A截取的剖视图。柱部分5基本上是圆柱,即在本文中被认为是大致柱状的。它具有在白色光源2正上方的第一端6。相对的第二端8具有斜切的外角9,并且是与平坦部分7相连或一体的结构。由于柱状的柱部分5和平坦部分7是一体的结构并且由透光丙烯酸制成,从光源2发出的光被耦合到柱部分5的大致平坦的第一端,向上行进穿过柱部分5,并由斜切的外角向侧面地或侧向地反射进入平坦部分7。
仍然参考图3,平坦部分7设有底切15,底切基本上是形成在平坦部分7的下表面或底表面12中的三角形切口。底切15具有斜边17,斜边17延伸到平坦部分7中,并且相对于底表面12和水平线以预定角度21朝向顶表面或第二表面11倾斜。底切的斜边侧反射使光向上穿过平坦部分并朝向顶表面11行进。
现在参考图4,更详细地示出了平坦部分7的底切和相邻区域的隔离视图。平坦部分7的顶表面11涂覆有高折射率涂层23。黑色基体层27覆盖高折射率涂层23。窗口25被切开或蚀刻穿过黑色基体层27,但是并不延伸穿过高折射率涂层23。
窗口25位于底切15的斜边17上方的黑色基体层27中。因此,来自白色光源2的光向上行进穿过柱部分5、由斜切的外角9反射、行进穿过平坦部分7、由斜边17反射并穿过窗口25发出。
现在参考图5,示出了用于车载仪表板的多颜色发光指针帽。图5中所示的实施例与图4中所示的实施例的不同在于:在平坦部分7的顶表面和底表面两者上增加两个三角形底切15和高折射率。图5中所示的实施例与图4中所示的实施例的不同还在于:增加形成在黑色基体层27中的两个窗口25和26,窗口25在第一滤色器层29上方,第二窗口26在第二滤色器层31上方。两个滤色器层均在高折射率涂层23上方,高折射率涂层23在平坦部分7的顶表面11上方。
另外,底切的斜边表面也涂覆有相同的高折射率涂层23。
在运行中,从白色光源2发出的白光沿柱部分5向上行进、由斜切的边缘侧向地反射,该斜切的边缘也优选地涂覆有高折射率涂层23。白光向侧面地或侧向地反射进入平坦部分,在该平坦部分,其碰到倾斜的斜边表面,两个斜边表面都进行了涂覆。来自两个斜边侧的光被向上反射,并且被投射穿过不同颜色的滤光器,从而提供来自图1中所示的仪表100的不同颜色的光。
如本文所用,术语“高折射率涂层”是具有大于约1.3但高达约1.8或更高的折射率的材料。在优选的实施例中,白色光源是白色发光二极管。在另一个实施例中,高折射率涂层被白色涂料代替。黑色基体层27可以是黑色涂料。窗口可以通过激光蚀刻或研磨(abraiding)形成。

Claims (8)

1.一种发光指针帽,其用于车辆仪表板且其从白色光源输出不同的颜色,所述发光指针帽包括:
白色光源;
光学地耦合到光源的透光基板,且透光基板包括:
具有第一表面、相对的第二表面和外围边缘的平坦部分,以及
大致柱状的柱部分,其具有的第一端光学地耦合到白色光源并接收来自白色光源的光,所述柱部分具有相对的第二端,第二端与平坦部分成一体、具有斜切的外角并且其光学地耦合到平坦部分,使得来自白色光源的白光进入柱部分的第一端、穿过柱部分行进至斜切的外角,并由斜切的外角的表面反射到平坦部分的外围边缘中,其中白光在第一和第二相对表面之间被重新反射;
形成在平坦部分的第一表面中的大致三角形的底切,大致三角形的底切具有斜边侧,其延伸到平坦部分中并且相对于第一表面以预定的第一角度朝向第二表面倾斜,使得从外围边缘传播到平坦部分中的白光行进穿过丙烯酸基板的平坦部分、冲击到底切的斜边侧上,并从斜边侧向第一表面反射;
在第一表面上方、第二表面上方和底切的斜边侧上方的高折射率涂层;
在高折射率涂层的第一部分上方的第一滤色器层,其在第二表面上并且位于第一表面中底切的斜边侧上方;以及;
在高折射率涂层的第二部分上方的第二滤色器层,其在第二表面上并且位于第一表面中底切的斜边侧上方;
在第一表面上方、第二表面上方、底切的斜边侧上方的高折射率涂层上方以及在第一滤色器层和第二滤色器层的至少一部分上方的黑色基体层;
在位于第一滤色器层上方的黑色基体层中形成的第一颜色窗口;以及
在位于第二滤色器层上方的黑色基体层中形成的第二颜色窗口;
其中,来自光源的白光传播到柱部分中并穿过柱部分,被反射到平坦部分中,从底切的斜边侧反射,并作为第一和第二不同颜色的可见光穿过第一颜色窗口和第二颜色窗口。
2.根据权利要求1所述的发光指针帽,其中,透光基板是丙烯酸。
3.根据权利要求1所述的发光指针帽,其中,透光基板是聚碳酸酯。
4.根据权利要求1所述的发光指针帽,其中,高折射率涂层是白色涂料。
5.根据权利要求1所述的发光指针帽,其中,黑色基体层是黑色涂料。
6.根据权利要求1所述的发光指针帽,其中,形成在平坦部分的第一表面中的大致三角形的底切由多个大致三角形的底切替代,每个底切具有斜边侧,其延伸到平坦部分中,并且其相对于第一表面以预定的第一角度向第二表面倾斜,使得从外围边缘传播到平坦部分中的白光行进穿过丙烯酸基板的平坦部分,冲击到底切的斜边侧上,并从斜边侧向第一颜色窗口和第二颜色窗口反射。
7.根据权利要求1所述的发光指针帽,其中,高折射率涂层具有大于约1.3的折射率。
8.根据权利要求1所述的发光指针帽,其中,光源是白色发光二极管。
