Description

Composition for caring hair
Technical Field
The application requires application numbers of 10-2017 and 0122260 applied on 9, month and 22 of 2017; and korean patent application No. 10-2018-0106345, filed on 6.9.2018, which is hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety.
The present invention relates to a composition for caring for hair, which improves entanglement of hair, exhibits an effect of improving elasticity and a voluminous feeling, and more particularly to a composition for caring for hair comprising a cationic surfactant, a sugar-based surfactant and an amino acid surfactant.
Background
Generally, human hair is composed of three layers, a cuticle layer (cuticle layer), a cortex layer (cortix) and a medulla layer (medulla). The cuticle layer, which is present as the outermost layer, surrounds the cortex to serve a protective function, and the intact cuticle layer of healthy hair has a smooth surface to serve the functions of refracting light and reducing friction between the hairs.
Hair is easily affected by external environment, and specifically, it is damaged by cold and dry wind, indoor heating, excessive combing, stress, malnutrition, insufficient sleep, and the like. In addition, recently, modern people view hair as a fashion, and accordingly, frequent hair treatment such as hair coloring, perming, and bleaching, excessive use of hair cosmetic products, or use of hair dryers for a long time are increasing, and thus hair is frequently damaged.
When hair is damaged by various physical, chemical or environmental factors, the cuticle layer on the hair surface is damaged, and thus water, protein and lipid in the hair are eluted, so that the hair becomes rough, loses luster, and has increased friction, and the hair is easily tangled, broken, or split ends are generated. In addition, the loss of elasticity causes problems such as collapse of hair, loss of volume, and thinning of hair, and in severe cases, hair breakage and traction alopecia occur.
Accordingly, consumer demand and preference for Conditioning (Conditioning) products capable of maintaining the health of hair is increasing, and research on such products is continuously ongoing.
Existing conditioning products contain cationic surfactants and silicon to improve hair condition. However, even if the condition of hair is improved by conditioning the hair surface, the absorption and smearing of hair are reduced due to the characteristics of the formulation which concentrates on the hair surface, and there is a problem that proper hair conditioning cannot be achieved and there is a limit in imparting elasticity and a bulky feeling to hair, and the hair is collapsed.
In korean patent No. 10-1351473, a novel ammonium salt compound was developed and added together with a cationic surfactant in order to improve overall massage feeling during use, touch feeling during rinsing, soft feeling in a wet state, and soft feeling in a dry state. However, the effect is not expected, and there is no description about the effect of improving the elasticity and the bulky feeling of the hair.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
The present invention provides a composition for caring for hair, comprising a cationic surfactant, a sugar-based surfactant, and an amino acid surfactant.
Generally, a composition for caring for hair uses a cationic surfactant, unlike a hair cleanser mainly using an anionic surfactant. Since damaged hair exhibits anionic property due to loss of fatty acid on the surface of hair, unlike normal hair, damaged hair can be treated by forming ionic bonds with the inside of hair using the cationic surfactant to fill damaged portions of hair.
However, if only the cationic surfactant is used, there is a problem in that even if the effect of the hair is achieved, the effect of improving the elasticity and the volume feeling of the hair cannot be exhibited.
In contrast, the present invention provides a composition for hair care which not only has a hair conditioning effect but also can exhibit an effect of improving the elasticity and the voluminous feeling.
Specifically, the composition for caring for hair of the present invention comprises a cationic surfactant, a sugar-based surfactant, and an amino acid surfactant.
The cationic surfactant fills damaged parts of hair by forming ionic bonds with damaged hair exhibiting anions, thereby playing a role in caring for damaged hair.
The cationic surfactant is tertiary ammonium or quaternary ammonium salt, and specifically, may include a compound selected from stearamidopropyl dimethyl amine (stearamidopropyl dimethyl amine), behenyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (benzalkonium chloride), behenyl trimethyl ammonium methyl sulfate (benzalkonium chloride), behenyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (cetyltrimethyl ammonium chloride), stearyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (stearamidopropyl dimethyl ammonium chloride), distearyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (distearyl dimethyl ammonium chloride), dicetyldimethyl ammonium chloride (cetyltrimethyl ammonium chloride), cocoamidopropyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (cetyltrimethyl ammonium chloride), stearamidopropyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (stearamidopropyl dimethyl amine), stearamidopropyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (palmityl propyl dimethyl amine), behenyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (behenyl propyl dimethyl amine), behenyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (palmitoyl propyl dimethyl amide), behenyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (behenyl propyl dimethyl amide), behenyl dimethyl amide (palmitoyl propyl dimethyl amide), behenyl propyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (behenamide (isopropyl amide), behenyl dimethyl amide (palmitoyl propyl dimethyl amide (isopropyl dimethyl amide), behenyl dimethyl amide (isopropyl dimethyl amide (palmitoyl propyl amide (isopropyl amide), behenyl dimethyl amide (behenyl propyl amide (isopropyl amide (palmitoyl dimethyl amide), behenamide (isopropyl amide (behenamide (isopropyl amide), behenamide (isopropyl amide), behenyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (behenamide), behenamide (isopropyl amide), behenyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (isopropyl amide), or cetyl amide (isopropyl amide), or isopropyl amide (isopropyl amide), or cetyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (isopropyl amide), or isopropyl amide (isopropyl amide) or isopropyl amide (isopropyl amide), or isopropyl amide (isopropyl amide), or One or more substances, preferably, may include one or more substances selected from stearamidopropyl dimethyl amine (stearamidopropyl dimethyl amine), behenyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (behenyl trimethyl ammonium chloride), behenyl trimethyl ammonium methyl sulfate (behenyl trimethyl ammonium methyl sulfate), and dipalmitoyloxyethyl hydroxyethyl methyl ammonium methyl sulfate (dipalmitoyl hydroxyethyl methyl ammonium methyl sulfate).
Further, the content of the cationic surfactant is 1 to 10% by weight, preferably 1 to 5% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition for caring for hair.
As described above, if the content of the cationic surfactant is 1 to 10% by weight, the conditioning effect of the hair can be improved, and in particular, the entanglement of the hair is improved and the surface of the hair is uniformly treated to reduce the friction on the surface of the hair, so that the suppleness feeling of the hair can be improved.
In the present invention, "conditioning effect" refers to repair of damaged hair or prevention of damage of healthy hair, and specifically refers to imparting softness, moisturization, smoothness, etc. to hair to maintain the healthy state of hair.
The sugar-based surfactant serves to increase the elasticity and the fluffy feeling of hair and improve the entanglement of hair by coating the surface of hair with sugar, thereby increasing the suppleness feeling.
The sugar-based surfactant may include one or more selected from octyl/decyl glucoside (caprylyl/caprylyl glucoside), lauryl glucoside (lauryl glucoside), isostearyl glucoside (isostearyl glucoside), ethyl glucoside (ethyl glucoside), coco-glucoside (coco-glucoside), octyl glucoside (caprylyl glucoside), myristyl glucoside (myristyl glucoside), ascorbyl glucoside (ascorbyl glucoside), cetearyl glucoside (cetearyl glucoside), decyl glucoside (decylglucoside) and glycerol glucoside (glycerol glucoside), and preferably, may include one or more selected from octyl/decyl glucoside (caprylyl/caprylyl glucoside) and cetearyl glucoside (cetearyl glucoside).
Furthermore, the sugar-based surfactant is contained in an amount of 0.5 to 5% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 3% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition for caring for hair.
As described above, if the sugar-based surfactant is contained in an amount of 0.5 to 5 wt%, the surface of the hair is coated with sugar, thereby increasing the elasticity and the bulky feeling of the hair, improving entanglement, and thus achieving the effect of softening the hair. However, if the content of the sugar-based surfactant exceeds 5% by weight, the surface of the hair is excessively coated with sugar, so that the hair becomes hard, and thus the effects of improving the elasticity, the bulky feeling, and the tangling of the hair cannot be obtained.
The amino acid surfactant serves as an anionic surfactant, which forms a cation/anion complex structure with the cationic surfactant to soften the surface of hair and improve entanglement between hair strands, thereby achieving an effect of improving the fluffy feeling of hair.
The amino acid surfactant may include one or more selected from sodium stearyl glutamate (sodium stearyl glutamate), sodium cocoyl glutamate (sodium cocoyl glutamate), sodium lauryl glutamate (sodium lauryl glutamate), sodium myristyl glutamate (sodium myristyl glutamate), disodium cocoyl glutamate (sodium cocoyl glutamate), disodium lauryl glutamate (sodium lauryl glutamate), disodium stearyl glutamate (sodium stearyl glutamate), and disodium caprylyl glutamate (sodium caprylyl glutamate), and preferably, may include one or more selected from sodium stearyl glutamate (sodium stearyl glutamate) and sodium cocoyl glutamate (sodium cocoyl glutamate).
Furthermore, the amino acid surfactant is present in an amount of 0.1 to 1 wt%, preferably 0.1 to 0.5 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition for caring for hair.
As described above, when the content of the amino acid surfactant is 0.1 to 1% by weight, the effect of improving the entanglement of hair to improve the soft feeling and the bulky feeling can be obtained. Further, if the content of the amino acid surfactant exceeds 1 wt%, the risk of formulation stability increases, which is not preferable.
In the present invention, the cationic surfactant may be included at 1 to 10 wt%, the sugar-based surfactant may be included at 0.5 to 5 wt%, and the amino acid surfactant may be included at 0.1 to 1 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition for caring for hair, and preferably, the cationic surfactant may be included at 1 to 5 wt%, the sugar-based surfactant may be included at 0.5 to 3 wt%, and the amino acid surfactant may be included at 0.1 to 0.5 wt%.
However, when exceeding the above range, the composition for hair care has poor formulation stability, which may result in difficulty in formulation.
In the present invention, the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant are preferably mixed at a weight ratio of 10: 1 to 1: 1, and more preferably at a weight ratio of 5: 1 to 2: 1.
If the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant are mixed in a weight ratio of 10: 1 to 1: 1, absorption and spreadability of the composition for caring for hair in the whole hair are enhanced, so that the suppleness, elasticity and fluffiness of hair can be improved due to the improvement of hair tangle; when the ratio of 5: 1 to 2: the above effect can be maximized when the weight ratio of 1 is mixed.
In addition, the composition for caring for hair of the present invention may further comprise a cationic polymer. By including the cationic polymer, a sustained conditioning effect on hair can be obtained, and the effect of improving the bulky feeling can be further increased.
The cationic polymer may include one or more selected from the group consisting of polyquaternium-10 (polyquaternium-10), polyquaternium-11 (polyquaternium-11), polyquaternium-37 (polyquaternium-37), polyquaternium-51 (polyquaternium-51), and polyquaternium-55 (polyquaternium-55), and preferably, may include polyquaternium-55 (polyquaternium-55). The polyquaternium-55 (polyquaternium-55) has a structure in which the length of the hydrophobic chain is long, thereby supporting the surface of hair and firmly wrapping the hair, and is most preferable.
Furthermore, the cationic polymer is present in an amount of 0.01 to 5 wt%, preferably 0.05 to 1 wt%, based on the total weight of the composition for caring for hair.
As described above, the content of the cationic polymer is preferably 0.01 to 5% by weight because the hair conditioning effect and the voluminous feeling enhancing effect can be obtained.
In addition to the above ingredients, the composition for caring for hair according to the present invention may further include an ingredient for strengthening hair. The hair-strengthening ingredient may be, for example, one or more substances selected from extracts of natural products derived from animals, plants, minerals, etc., amino acids, peptides, proteins, high molecular compounds, silicon compounds, fatty alcohols, fatty acids, waxes, and ester compounds, as a substance acting on the outside of hair to increase the thickness of hair or fill damaged parts.

[ Experimental example 1 ] measurement of Hair elasticity
The composition prepared as above was treated on hair, and then the elasticity of hair was measured to evaluate the elasticity effect of the composition for hair care prepared in said examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6.
The hair used at this time was a hair strand (tress) (manufactured by Phoenix Korea company) which was washed with a base shampoo having no conditioning function, rinsed for 1 minute, dried for 2 minutes, and then applied with 0.3g of the compositions for hair care of examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6, respectively.
Hair elasticity was measured using a multifunctional hair measuring instrument MTT175 (manufactured by DiaStron corporation) on hair to which the composition for hair care of examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6 were applied.
Specifically, hair tresses coated with the compositions for caring hair of examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6 were fixed in a dome shape having a height of 1.5 cm. Then, the initial force was set to 0.001N by the push-pull piston and pressurization was performed with a force increased by 0.001N per second. At this time, the force is applied in the vertical direction from the apex of the arch, and the pressure on the measuring member equipped with the push-pull piston is measured while pressurizing. This was repeated 30 times after measuring the force at the arch collapse of the hair. In this case, the hair elastic force is a force supported by the hair when the center point is pressed after the hair is bent into a dome shape, and a larger supported force means a larger elastic force of the hair. The results obtained at this time are shown in fig. 1.
From the results of fig. 1, it was confirmed that the elasticity of the hair treated by the compositions for hair care of examples 1 to 5, which contained the cationic surfactant, the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant in the preferred content ranges according to the present invention and included the weight ratio of the sugar-based surfactant to the amino acid surfactant in the preferred weight ratio ranges, was increased as compared to the untreated hair and the hair treated by the compositions for hair care of comparative examples 1 to 6.
Further, a method is utilized that: hair treated with the composition for hair care of example 6 comprising sugar-based surfactant and amino acid surfactant in a weight ratio of 1 also showed excellent elasticity by using a surfactant having a ratio of more than 10: the hair treated with the composition for hair care of example 8 comprising sugar-based surfactant and amino acid surfactant in a weight ratio of 1 showed excellent elasticity due to the increase of sugar-based surfactant.
The method comprises the following steps of 1: 1, example 7 comprising a sugar-based surfactant and an amino acid surfactant in a weight ratio of less than 1: 1 weight ratio of the hair treated with the composition for caring hair of example 9 comprising sugar-based surfactant and amino acid surfactant, the effect of increasing hair elasticity due to the decrease in the content of sugar-based surfactant was very small.
In contrast, the hair treated with the compositions for caring hair of comparative examples 1 and 4, which do not contain a sugar-based surfactant and an amino acid surfactant, and comparative examples 2 and 5, which do not contain a sugar-based surfactant and contain only an amino acid surfactant, had an elastic force similar to that of untreated hair, and the hair treated with the compositions for caring hair of comparative examples 3 and 6, which contain a sugar-based surfactant but do not contain an amino acid surfactant, had an increased elastic force compared to untreated hair, but had a lower effect of improving the elastic force than those of examples 1 to 6 and 8.
It can be seen that the composition for caring for hair of the present invention has an effect of improving hair elasticity.
[ Experimental example 2 ] measurement of Hair fluffiness
The compositions prepared as above were treated to the hair and then measured for the voluminous feeling of the hair to evaluate the effect of the elasticity of the compositions for hair care prepared in said examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6.
The voluminous feeling of the hair applied with the compositions for hair care of examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6 was measured by measuring the resistance when the hair strand passes through a prescribed diameter using a multifunctional hair measuring instrument MTT175 (manufactured by DiaStron corporation) machine, and the results thereof are shown in fig. 2.
From the results of fig. 2, it was confirmed that the hair treated by the compositions for hair care of examples 1 to 5, which contain the cationic surfactant, the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant at the preferred contents according to the present invention and include the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant at the preferred weight ratio ranges, had an increased feeling of volume as compared to the untreated hair and the hair treated by the compositions for hair care of comparative examples 1 to 6.
Further, a method is utilized that: hair treated with the composition for hair care of example 6 containing the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant at a weight ratio of 1 also showed excellent results in a voluminous feel, and the hair treated with the composition for hair care of example 6 was treated with a surfactant having a weight ratio of more than 10: the hair treated with the composition for hair care of example 8 comprising the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant at a weight ratio of 1 failed to exhibit the effect of sufficiently improving the voluminous feeling due to the decrease in the amino acid surfactant, but exhibited the effect superior to those of comparative examples 1 to 6.
The method comprises the following steps of 1: 1, example 7 comprising a sugar-based surfactant and an amino acid surfactant in a weight ratio of less than 1: hair treated with the composition for hair care of example 9 containing a sugar-based surfactant and an amino acid surfactant at a weight ratio of 1 exhibited an effect of increasing a hair volume feeling due to an increase in the content of the amino acid surfactant.
In contrast, the hair treated with the compositions for caring hair of comparative examples 1 and 4, which did not contain sugar-based surfactant and amino acid surfactant, had a reduced volume feeling as compared with untreated hair. Further, the hair treated with the compositions for caring hair of comparative examples 2 and 5, which contained no sugar-based surfactant but contained only amino acid surfactant, had a slightly increased voluminous feeling as compared with untreated hair, but did not exhibit the effects equivalent to examples 1 to 9. The hair treated with the composition for hair care of comparative example 3, which did not contain the amino acid surfactant but contained only the sugar-based surfactant, exhibited a similar voluminous feeling to the untreated hair. The hair treated with the composition for hair care of comparative example 6 having the same composition as comparative example 3 but containing a sugar-based surfactant in an amount higher than that of comparative example 3 had a reduced voluminous feeling as compared with the untreated hair.
It can be seen that the composition for caring for hair of the present invention has an effect of improving the hair volume feeling.
[ Experimental example 3 ] measurement of Hair tangle
The combing resistance of the hair was measured after the above-prepared composition was treated on the hair to evaluate the entanglement-improving effect of the compositions for hair care prepared in said examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6.
The higher the combing resistance of the hair, the higher the entanglement of the hair is meant.
The hair used at this time was a hair strand (tress) (manufactured by Phoenix Korea company) which was washed with a base shampoo having no conditioning function, rinsed for 1 minute, dried for 2 minutes, and then applied with 0.3g of the composition for hair care of examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6.
The degree of entanglement of the hair applied with the compositions for hair care of examples 1 to 9 and comparative examples 1 to 6 was measured by measuring the force to which the hair tresses were subjected at the time of combing using a multifunctional hair measuring instrument MTT175 (manufactured by DiaStron corporation) machine, and the results thereof are shown in fig. 3.
From the results of fig. 3, it was confirmed that the hair treated by using the composition for hair care of examples 1 to 5, which contains the cationic surfactant, the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant in the preferred content ranges according to the present invention and contains the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant in weight ratios within the preferred weight ratio ranges, was less in combing resistance and thus was less tangled, as compared to the untreated hair (104.75gmf) and the hair treated by using the composition for hair care of comparative examples 1 to 6.
Further, a method is utilized that: 1, example 6 comprising a sugar-based surfactant and an amino acid surfactant in a weight ratio of more than 10: 1 weight ratio of hair treated with the composition for hair care of example 8 comprising sugar-based surfactant and amino acid surfactant, the degree of hair tangling measured due to the increase of sugar-based surfactant was slightly higher, but showed results lower than those of comparative examples 1 to 6.
The method comprises the following steps of 1: 1 and example 7 comprising a sugar-based surfactant and an amino acid surfactant in a weight ratio of less than 1: hair treated with the composition for hair care of example 9 comprising a sugar-based surfactant and an amino acid surfactant in a weight ratio of 1 showed an excellent effect in hair tangle improvement due to an increase in the content of the amino acid surfactant.
As can be seen, the composition for caring for hair of the present invention has the effect of improving hair tangle to enhance the soft feeling of hair.
From the results of the experimental examples 1 to 3, it was confirmed that the composition for hair care of the present invention comprising the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant exhibited the effects of increasing the elasticity, increasing the bulky feeling, and improving the tangling.
In particular, it is found that the composition for hair care containing the cationic surfactant, the sugar-based surfactant and the amino acid surfactant in the preferable content ranges and the weight ratio of the sugar-based surfactant to the amino acid surfactant in the preferable weight ratio range according to the present invention exhibits excellent effects in 3 effects of increasing the elasticity, increasing the bulky feeling and improving the entanglement.
Further, the composition for hair care of example 3 is most excellent in the effects of increasing the elasticity, increasing the voluminous feeling, and improving the hair tangle, and thus it is understood that the above-described effects are most excellent when behenyltrimethylammonium chloride is used as the cationic surfactant, octyl/decyl glucoside is used as the sugar-based surfactant, sodium stearyl glutamate is used as the amino acid surfactant, and polyquaternium-55 is used as the cationic polymer.
Therefore, the present invention can overcome the existing problem of hair collapse due to poor elasticity and fluffy feeling, and the composition for hair care of the present invention can be widely applied to products of various formulations.
