Detailed Description
One aspect of the present invention is an information processing apparatus including a control unit that performs: when a road side device installed at an entrance or an exit of a toll road detects that a vehicle passes through the entrance or the exit of the toll road, destination information related to a destination of the vehicle and state information related to a state of the vehicle are acquired; selecting advertisement information to be delivered for the vehicle based on the destination information; whether a predetermined condition for ensuring the safety of the operation of the vehicle is satisfied is determined based on the state information, and the advertisement information is delivered for the vehicle when the predetermined condition is satisfied.
According to the present invention, since the advertisement information based on the destination information is delivered to the vehicle, the attention of the occupant of the vehicle can be attracted, and the advertisement effect can be improved. On the other hand, since the advertisement delivery to the vehicle is limited to a case where a predetermined condition for ensuring the safety of the operation of the vehicle is satisfied, the safety of the operation of the vehicle can be ensured. Further, since the advertisement information is delivered to the vehicle when the passage of the vehicle is detected by the road side device provided at the entrance or the exit of the toll road, the advertisement information can be delivered at a time before the vehicle reaches the destination when the vehicle is traveling on the toll road on the route to the destination, and the advertisement effect can be improved.
In one aspect of the present invention, the state information may include a speed of the vehicle. In this case, the predetermined condition may be that the speed of the vehicle is equal to or lower than a predetermined value. In a case where the speed of the vehicle is low, for example, even if the driver of the vehicle views the delivered advertisement information, there is a high possibility that the safe operation can be continued.
In one aspect of the present invention, the state information may include the number of occupants in the vehicle. In this case, the predetermined condition may be that two or more occupants are present in the vehicle. Occupants in the vehicle also include the driver. When the number of passengers in the vehicle is two or more, the number indicates that there are passengers other than the driver. Therefore, even when the driver does not view the delivered advertisement information, for example, the probability that the passenger other than the driver views the advertisement information is high, and the advertisement effect can be improved. Further, even if the driver is assumed to be attracted attention by the advertisement information, since the fellow passenger can pay attention to the traveling of the vehicle, the safety of the traveling of the vehicle can be ensured.
In one aspect of the present invention, the vehicle may be an autonomous vehicle. The state information may include information indicating whether or not the vehicle is in automatic driving. In this case, the predetermined condition may also be that the vehicle is in automatic driving. In the automatic driving of the autonomous vehicle, for example, even if all the occupants including the driver watch the delivered advertisement information, the safety of the operation of the vehicle can be ensured.
In one aspect of the present invention, the control unit may select advertisement information associated with a predetermined range including a destination indicated by the destination information as the advertisement information to be delivered to the vehicle. The predetermined range including the destination is, for example, a range of a predetermined distance from the destination, the same town as the destination, or the town of the city and the town of the neighborhood thereof. The advertisement information associated with the predetermined range is, for example, advertisement information of stores or facilities existing within the predetermined range, advertisement information of specialties and famous products of urban villages existing within the predetermined range, and the like. Since the destination is a target to which the vehicle is driven from now on, by delivering advertisement information associated with a predetermined range including the destination, the interest of the occupant of the vehicle can be attracted, and thus the advertisement effect can be improved.
In one aspect of the present invention, the destination information may include identification information of an exit through which the vehicle passes. In this case, the control unit may select, as the advertisement information to be delivered to the vehicle, advertisement information associated with a predetermined range located in the departure direction from the exit through which the vehicle passes. Since the vehicle passes through the exit and then passes through a predetermined range in the departure direction of the exit located on the toll road, the advertisement information can be delivered immediately before the vehicle passes through the exit, and the advertisement effect can be improved.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The configurations of the following embodiments are merely examples, and the present invention is not limited to the configurations of the embodiments.
< first embodiment >
Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an example of a system configuration of an advertisement delivery system 100 according to a first embodiment. The advertisement delivery system 100 is a system that determines delivery of advertisement information selected according to a destination of a vehicle to the vehicle according to a state of the vehicle when the vehicle passes through an entrance or an exit of a toll road, for example. In the first embodiment, a case where a vehicle passes through an exit-side gate of an expressway is described as an example of an entrance or an exit of a toll road. The exit-side gate of the expressway is one example of the "exit" of the "toll road".
The advertisement delivery system 100 includes, for example, a center server 1, a roadside device 2 provided near an exit gate of an expressway, and an in-vehicle device 4 mounted on a vehicle. In fig. 1, one roadside device 2 and one vehicle-mounted device 4 are extracted for simplicity of explanation. The roadside apparatus 2 and the vehicle-mounted apparatus 4 are included in the advertisement delivery system 100 in plural numbers. The roadside apparatus 2 additionally corresponds to, for example, one exit side gate of the expressway, and is provided at the additionally corresponding exit side gate. Although the roadside apparatus 2 is disposed above the exit-side gate in fig. 1, the location of disposing the roadside apparatus 2 is not limited to the position shown in fig. 1.
The roadside apparatus 2 and the in-vehicle apparatus 4 are apparatuses that are also included in an ETC (Electronic toll collection) System of an expressway, for example. The in-vehicle device 4 is, for example, an ETC in-vehicle machine. The roadside apparatus 2 and the in-vehicle apparatus 4 perform wireless communication realized by a Short-Range wireless communication method such as DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communications). The roadside device 2 transmits a signal including identification information corresponding to (provided with) the gate of the roadside device 2 at a predetermined cycle. The vehicle mounted with the in-vehicle device 4 may be an autonomous vehicle.
The roadside device 2 and the center server 1 are connected to a network such as the internet, for example, and can communicate via the network.
In the ETC system, for example, the following various processes are performed. The vehicle-mounted device 4 receives a signal transmitted from a roadside device provided near an entrance-side gate of an expressway, for example, when a vehicle passes through the entrance-side gate, and records entry into the expressway based on the reception of the signal. Specifically, the in-vehicle device 4 creates and stores portal information including: identification information of the entrance-side gate included in the signal transmitted from the roadside device, and the reception timing of the signal, which is the passage timing of the entrance-side gate.
When the vehicle passes through the exit-side gate of the expressway, the in-vehicle apparatus 4 receives a signal transmitted from the roadside apparatus 2 disposed in the vicinity of the exit-side gate, thereby detecting the passage through the exit-side gate and the roadside apparatus 2. The in-vehicle device 4 transmits, for example, entrance information, ETC card number, and vehicle information to the roadside device 2. The vehicle information includes information on, for example, a license plate number and a vehicle type written on a license plate. When receiving the information from the in-vehicle device 4, the roadside device 2 acquires the toll fee based on the entrance information and the vehicle information, and transmits the information of the toll fee to the predetermined settlement server and the in-vehicle device 4. Thus, the ETC system collects toll for passing on the highway. The settlement server is, for example, a server of a credit card company used for payment of a toll fee on a highway in the ETC system.
In the first embodiment, for example, information of a user who allows advertisement delivery from the advertisement delivery system 100 and information on a vehicle used by the user are registered. When the in-vehicle device 4 mounted on the vehicle registered in the advertisement delivery system 100 detects the roadside device 2 provided in the vicinity of the exit side gate, information used for obtaining the toll of the expressway, such as entrance information, an advertisement permission message, vehicle state information on the state of the vehicle, and destination information on the destination are transmitted to the roadside device 2. The advertisement permission message is, for example, a message indicating that the vehicle permits placement of an advertisement from the advertisement placement system 100 through the roadside device 2. The vehicle state information includes, for example, the speed of the vehicle, the number of occupants in the vehicle, and information indicating whether or not the vehicle is automatically driven when the vehicle is an automatically driven vehicle. The destination information may not be transmitted from the in-vehicle device 4 to the roadside device 2. The destination information is one example of "destination information". The vehicle state information is one example of "state information".
Upon receiving the advertisement permission message or the like from the in-vehicle device 4, the roadside device 2 transmits an advertisement acquisition request requesting acquisition of advertisement information transmitted to the in-vehicle device 4 to the center server 1. The vehicle state information and the destination information of the vehicle are transmitted together with the advertisement acquisition request. The roadside apparatus 2 acquires the toll fee of the expressway of the vehicle mounted on the in-vehicle apparatus 4. When the destination information is not received from the in-vehicle device 4, for example, the roadside device 2 transmits the gate identification information of the exit gate as the destination information.
The center server 1 includes a database storing advertisement information associated with map information, for example. When receiving an advertisement acquisition request from the roadside device 2, the center server 1 acquires advertisement information corresponding to destination information received together with the advertisement acquisition request from the database. The center server 1 determines whether or not an advertisement delivery condition is satisfied, for example, based on the vehicle state information, in order to determine whether or not to deliver an advertisement to the vehicle mounted with the in-vehicle device 4. The advertisement delivery condition is a condition for determining that the safety of the occupant in the vehicle can be ensured when the advertisement is delivered to the vehicle. The advertisement delivery condition is, for example, any one or a combination of a speed of the vehicle being equal to or lower than a predetermined value, two or more occupants in the vehicle, and automatic driving in the case where the vehicle is an automatic driving vehicle. The advertisement placement condition is one example of "a predetermined condition for ensuring the safety of the operation of the vehicle".
The center server 1 obtains discount information of the toll of the expressway of the vehicle mounted on the in-vehicle device 4. When the advertisement delivery condition is satisfied, the center server 1 determines delivery of an advertisement to a vehicle mounted on the vehicle-mounted device 4, and transmits advertisement information and discount information corresponding to destination information of the vehicle to the roadside device 2.
When receiving the advertisement information and the discount information from the center server 1, for example, the roadside device 2 acquires the toll of the highway again based on the discount information, and transmits the information of the toll of the highway after the discount and the advertisement information to the on-vehicle device 4.
When receiving the information on the toll of the expressway and the advertisement information after the discount from the roadside apparatus 2, the in-vehicle apparatus 4 outputs and displays the information on the toll of the expressway and the advertisement information to a display device in the vehicle. The display device in the vehicle may be a display device of a car navigation system, for example, or may be a display device different from the car navigation system. Further, for example, the advertisement information may be displayed after the display of the toll fee on the expressway.
In the first embodiment, by delivering advertisement information corresponding to a destination to which the vehicle is currently traveling, it is possible to attract attention of a passenger who is riding on the vehicle, and thus it is possible to improve the advertisement effect. In the first embodiment, the advertisement is delivered to the vehicle only when the advertisement delivery condition is satisfied, that is, when it is considered that the safety of the occupant riding in the vehicle is ensured even if the advertisement is delivered, and therefore, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of an obstacle in the operation of the vehicle due to the advertisement being delivered to the vehicle. In the first embodiment, the case where the advertisement or the advertisement information is transmitted to the in-vehicle device 4 is also referred to as the case where the advertisement or the advertisement information is delivered to a vehicle mounted on the in-vehicle device 4, or simply the case where the advertisement or the advertisement information is delivered to the vehicle.
Fig. 2 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of the center server 1, the roadside device 2, and the vehicle-mounted device 4 in the advertisement delivery system 100. The center server 1 is, for example, a dedicated computer or a general-purpose computer. The center server 1 has a hardware configuration including a CPU (Central Processing Unit) 101, a memory 102, an external storage device 103, and a communication Unit 104. The memory 102 and the external storage device 103 are recording media that can be read by a computer. The center server 1 is an example of "information processing apparatus".
The external storage device 103 stores various programs and data used by the CPU101 during execution of the programs. The external storage device 103 is, for example, an EPROM (Erasable Programmable ROM) or a Hard disk Drive (Hard disk Drive). The programs stored in the external storage device 103 include, for example, an Operating System (OS), a control program of the advertisement delivery system 100, and other various application programs. The control program of the advertisement delivery system 100 is a program for determining advertisement information corresponding to a destination of a vehicle and determining whether or not to deliver the advertisement information to the vehicle according to a state of the vehicle.
The memory 102 is a storage device used as a storage area and a work area for loading a program stored in the external storage device 103 or a buffer, and supplies the CPU101 with the storage area and the work area. The Memory 102 includes a semiconductor Memory such as a ROM (read only Memory) or a RAM (Random Access Memory).
The CPU101 executes various processes by loading and executing an OS or various application programs held in the external storage device 103 into the memory 102. The CPU101 is not limited to one, and may be provided in plurality. The CPU101 is an example of a "control section".
The communication unit 104 is an interface for inputting and outputting information to and from a network. The communication unit 104 may be an interface for connecting to a wired network or may be an interface for connecting to a wireless network. The communication unit 104 is, for example, an NIC (Network Interface Card) or a wireless circuit.
Next, the roadside device 2 includes, as hardware components, for example, a CPU201, a memory 202, an external storage device 203, a first communication unit 204, and a second communication unit 205. The CPU201, the memory 202, and the external storage device 203 are the same as the CPU101, the memory 102, and the external storage device 103. The external storage device 203 of the roadside device 2 stores a control program of the advertisement delivery system 100 for the roadside device 2. The advertisement delivery system 100 for the roadside device 2 stored in the external storage device 203 of the roadside device 2 is a program for requesting the center server 1 for advertisement information to be delivered to a vehicle that passes through an exit-side gate corresponding to the roadside device 2 in accordance with an advertisement permission message received from the vehicle that passes through the exit-side gate added thereto from the roadside device 2, and transmitting the advertisement information received from the center server 1 to the vehicle.
The first communication unit 204 is an interface for inputting and outputting information to and from a network, and is capable of communicating with the center server 1 via the network. The first communication unit 204 may be an interface for connecting to a wired network or may be an interface for connecting to a wireless network. The first communication unit 204 is, for example, an NIC (Network interface card) or a radio circuit.
The second communication unit 205 performs communication according to a predetermined short-range wireless communication method. For example, the second communication unit 205 performs communication in accordance with DSRC. The second communication unit 205 transmits a signal including identification information of the exit-side shutter at a predetermined cycle, for example. When receiving a connection request or the like from a receiving apparatus that has received the signal, the second communication unit 205 establishes a number with the receiving apparatus, and performs communication. In the first embodiment, the receiving device that receives the signal transmitted by the second communication unit 205 is the in-vehicle device 4. The short-range wireless communication method performed by the second communication unit 205 is not limited to the DSCR, and may be, for example, Wi-Fi Direct, BLUETOOTH (registered trademark), ble (BLUETOOTH Low energy), or the like.
Next, the in-vehicle device 4 is, for example, an ETC in-vehicle machine. When the vehicle is an autonomous vehicle, the in-vehicle device 4 may be an autonomous control device having a communication function with the roadside device 2. The vehicle-mounted device 4 is not limited to this, and may be, for example, a device that has a communication function with the roadside device 2 and can control a display device provided in the vehicle.
The in-vehicle device 4 includes, as hardware components, a CPU401, a memory 402, an external storage device 403, a communication unit 404, an ETC card reading device 405, and an interface 406, for example. The CPU401, the memory 402, and the external storage device 403 are the same as the CPU101, the memory 102, and the external storage device 103. However, the external storage device 403 of the in-vehicle device 4 stores, for example, a control program for the in-vehicle device of the advertisement delivery system 100. The control program for the in-vehicle device of the advertisement delivery system 100 is a program for receiving advertisement delivery by the roadside device 2 when passing through the exit gate, for example.
The communication unit 404 performs communication in accordance with a predetermined short-range wireless communication method similar to that of the roadside apparatus 2. For example, the communication unit 404 performs communication in accordance with DSRC. The communication unit 404 performs reception processing of signals at a predetermined cycle, and notifies the CPU401 of reception of a signal transmitted from the roadside device 2, for example, when the signal is received. Thereafter, for example, in accordance with an instruction from the CPU401, a number is established with the roadside device 2, and data is transmitted and received with the roadside device 2 in accordance with a predetermined short-range wireless communication method.
The ETC card reading device 405 includes an inlet for the ETC card, and reads information to be recorded on the ETC card inserted into the inlet in accordance with, for example, an instruction from the CPU401, and outputs the information to the CPU 401. The ETC card includes, for example, an IC chip. The IC chip stores, for example, an ETC card number, vehicle information of a vehicle to which the ETC card is attached, and the like. The IC chip of the ETC card may record user identification information in the advertisement delivery system 100. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the user identification information in the advertisement delivery system 100 may be stored in the external storage device 403, for example. The ETC card number is a unique number assigned to the ETC card, and is composed of an identification number of an issuing company of the ETC card, a credit card company, and the like, and an identification number of a user.
The vehicle information includes, for example, a vehicle type (a general vehicle, a large vehicle, or the like), a vehicle identification number, and the like. The vehicle identification information recorded in the ETC card may be, for example, a license plate number recorded on a hit plate. The user identification information in the advertisement delivery system 100 may be, for example, any one of user identification information shared with the ETC system, a name or company name of the user, identification information uniquely assigned to the advertisement delivery system 100, and the like. Further, the ETC card number may be used in the user identification information, and in this case, the ETC card number as the user identification information may be transmitted to the roadside device 2 separately without the entrance information or the like.
The interface 406 is an interface for connecting to a display device provided in the vehicle, for example.
The hardware configurations of the center server 1, the roadside apparatus 2, and the in-vehicle apparatus 4 shown in fig. 2 are merely examples, and are not limited to the above examples, and the components may be omitted, replaced, and added as appropriate according to the embodiment. For example, the center server 1 may be provided with a portable recording medium drive device and execute a program recorded in a portable recording medium. The portable recording medium is, for example, a recording medium such as an SD card, a miniSD card, a microSD card, a USB (Universal Serial Bus) flash memory, a CD (Compact Disc), a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc), a blu-ray (registered trademark) Disc, or a flash memory card. For example, the center server 1 may include an input device and an output device. The input device is, for example, a keyboard, a mouse, a touch panel, or the like. The output device is, for example, a display or the like.
The series of processes executed by the center server 1, the roadside apparatus 2, and the in-vehicle apparatus 4 are not limited to those realized by execution of software by a processor, and may be realized by hardware such as an FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array), for example.
Fig. 3 is a diagram showing an example of the functional configuration of the center server 1, the roadside device 2, and the vehicle-mounted device 4 in the advertisement delivery system 100. The in-vehicle device 4 includes, as functional components, a control unit 41, a transmission/reception unit 42, a card information acquisition unit 43, an entry information holding unit 44, a status acquisition unit 45, and a history information Database (DB) 46. These functional components are realized, for example, by causing the CPU401 of the in-vehicle device 4 to execute a control program for the in-vehicle device 4 of the advertisement delivery system 100 stored in the external storage device 403.
The transmitting/receiving unit 42 is an interface for communication with the roadside device 2, which is implemented by the communication unit 404. When the transmission/reception unit 42 receives the signal transmitted from the roadside device 2 through the communication unit 404, it controls establishment of the number with the roadside device 2. The transmission/reception unit 42 outputs data received from the roadside device 2 through the communication unit 404 to the control unit 41, for example. The transmitting/receiving unit 42 transmits the data input from the control unit 41 to the roadside device 2 through the communication unit 404, for example.
The card information acquisition unit 43 acquires information recorded on the ETC card from the ETC card reading device 405 in accordance with an instruction from the control unit 41, for example, and outputs the information to the control unit 41. The portal information holding unit 44 is created in a storage area of the memory 402, for example, and holds portal information. The entry information is recorded and deleted in the entry information holding unit 44 by the control unit 41, for example.
The state acquisition unit 45 acquires the vehicle state information at predetermined intervals, for example. For example, when the vehicle state information includes the speed of the vehicle, the state acquiring unit 45 may acquire the speed of the vehicle from a speedometer provided in the vehicle, or may acquire the speed of the vehicle by acquiring the position information from a position information acquiring means such as a GPS (Global Positioning System). For example, when the vehicle state information includes the number of occupants in the vehicle, the state acquiring unit 45 may acquire the number of occupants in the vehicle based on an input from the occupants in the vehicle, or may acquire the number of occupants in the vehicle based on information from a sensor in the vehicle. The sensor in the vehicle is, for example, a camera provided facing the interior space of the vehicle. For example, when the vehicle state information includes information indicating whether or not the vehicle is automatically driven, the state acquisition unit 45 may acquire whether or not the vehicle is automatically driven from a control device that controls driving. The state acquisition unit 45 outputs the latest vehicle state information to the control unit 41, for example, in accordance with an instruction from the control unit 41.
The control unit 41 receives, from the transmission/reception unit 42, the gate identification information included in the signal received from the roadside device 2. For example, it is possible to determine whether the gate added to the roadside apparatus 2 corresponds to the inlet-side gate or the outlet-side gate based on the gate identification information. When detecting that the gate corresponding to the roadside device 2 that is the source of the gate identification information is added as the entrance gate based on the gate identification information, the control unit 41 obtains the passage time of the entrance gate, and stores, for example, the entrance information including the gate identification information and the passage time of the entrance gate in the entrance information holding unit 44.
When it is detected from the gate identification information that the gate corresponding to the roadside device 2 that is the transmission source of the gate identification information is added as the exit-side gate, the control unit 41 performs the following processing. First, the control unit 41 instructs the transmission/reception unit 42 to establish a number with the roadside device 2. The control unit 41 also holds, as the exit information, the gate identification information of the exit-side gate and the reception timing of the signal, which is the gate passage timing, in the entry information holding unit 44.
Next, the control unit 41 instructs the card information acquisition unit 43 to read information from the ETC card, and acquires the ETC card number, the vehicle information, and the like from the card information acquisition unit 43. When the user identification information is recorded in the ETC card, the user identification information is also acquired from the ETC card. Next, the control unit 41 acquires entry information from the entry information holding unit 44. Next, the control unit 41 acquires the vehicle state information from the state acquisition unit 45. Next, the control unit 41 acquires the destination information. The destination information may be information of a destination set in the car navigation system, or information of a destination set in the in-vehicle device 4 by an occupant of the vehicle, for example. The information of the destination may be any one of an address, a building name, a latitude, and a longitude, for example. The control unit 41 outputs the entrance information, the ETC card number, the vehicle information, the user identification information, the advertisement permission message, the vehicle state information, and the destination information to the transmission/reception unit 42, and transmits the same to the roadside device 2 through the transmission/reception unit 42. In addition, when the destination information cannot be acquired without setting a destination in the car navigation system or the in-vehicle device 4, the destination information may not be transmitted.
The control unit 41 receives the information of the toll of the expressway and the input of the advertisement information received from the roadside apparatus 2 from the transmission/reception unit 42. The control unit 41 outputs the received information of the toll of the expressway and the advertisement information to a display device provided in the vehicle, and displays the information. The control unit 41 acquires entry information and exit information from the entry information storage unit 44, and stores the entry information and the exit information in the history information DB46 together with the fee information. The control unit 41 deletes the entry information and the exit information held in the entry information holding unit 44 and refreshes them.
The history information DB46 stores information on the history of use of the expressway. Information on the use history of the expressway includes, for example, entrance information, exit information, and fee information in association with each other.
Next, the roadside device 2 includes, as functional components, the terminal communication unit 21, the server communication unit 22, the fee calculation unit 23, the control unit 24, and the fee table DB 25. These functional components are realized by the CPU201 of the roadside apparatus 2 executing the control program for the roadside apparatus 2 of the advertisement delivery system 100 stored in the external storage device 203.
The terminal communication unit 21 controls communication with the in-vehicle device 4 performed by the second communication unit 205. For example, the terminal communication unit 21 instructs the second communication unit 205 to transmit a signal including gate identification information of a gate to which the roadside device 2 corresponds, at a predetermined cycle. The terminal communication unit 21 receives a request such as a connection request from the in-vehicle device 4 that received the signal, and controls establishment of a number with the in-vehicle device 4. When the terminal communication section 21 receives entrance information, an ETC card identification number, vehicle information, user identification information, an advertisement permission message, vehicle state information, destination information, and the like from the in-vehicle device 4, these pieces of information are output to the control section 25. When information on the toll fee of the expressway or advertisement information is input from the control unit 25, for example, the terminal communication unit 21 transmits the information to the in-vehicle device 4 through the second communication unit 205.
The server communication unit 22 controls communication with the center server 1 and other servers performed by the first communication unit 204. For example, when receiving the input of the advertisement permission message, the vehicle state information, and the destination information received from the in-vehicle device 4 from the control unit 24, the server communication unit 22 transmits the vehicle state information, the destination information, and the user identification information to the center server 1 together with the advertisement acquisition request. For example, when receiving advertisement information and discount information corresponding to the destination information received from the in-vehicle device 4 from the center server 1, the server communication section 22 outputs these pieces of information to the control section 24.
The fee calculation unit 23 calculates the toll fee for the expressway, for example, in accordance with an instruction from the control unit 24. The toll fee for the expressway is calculated based on, for example, the fee table stored in the fee table DB25 and the entrance information and the vehicle information received from the in-vehicle device 4.
The control unit 24 performs control related to the advertisement delivery system 100 in the roadside device 2. Specifically, as described below. When receiving an input of an advertisement permission message or the like received from the in-vehicle device 4 from the terminal communication unit 21, the control unit 24 outputs an advertisement acquisition request, vehicle state information, destination information, and user identification information to the server communication unit 22, and transmits the same to the center server 1 through the server communication unit 22. When the destination information is not received from the in-vehicle device 4, the control unit 24 acquires the gate identification information of the exit gate to which the corresponding exit gate is added as the destination information, and transmits the destination information and the advertisement permission message to the center server 1.
When receiving the input of the user identification information, entrance information, and vehicle information received from the in-vehicle device 4 from the terminal communication unit 21, the control unit 24 instructs the fee calculation unit 23 to acquire information of the toll on the expressway, and acquires the information of the toll on the expressway from the fee calculation unit 23.
Further, the control unit 24 receives the input of the advertisement information and discount information received from the center server 1 from the server communication unit 22. The control unit 24 obtains a fee obtained by discounting a predetermined amount of money from the toll fee of the expressway obtained by the fee calculation unit 23 based on the discount information. The control unit 24 outputs the information of the discounted toll on the expressway and the advertisement information to the terminal communication unit 21, and transmits the information to the roadside device 2 through the terminal communication unit 21. The control unit 24 outputs the information of the discounted toll on the expressway to the server communication unit 22, and transmits the information to the settlement server through the server communication unit 22, thereby performing the settlement processing of the toll on the expressway. The settlement server is, for example, a server of a credit card company determined in accordance with an ETC card number of an ETC card registered in payment of a toll fee on a highway.
The cost table DB25 is created, for example, in a storage area of the external storage device 203 of the roadside device 2. The fee table DB25 holds a fee table of the toll fee of an expressway, for example.
The toll of the expressway is determined, for example, based on the distance between the entrance-side gate and the exit-side gate through which the vehicle passes and the type of the vehicle. Therefore, the fee table of the highway toll held in the fee table DB25 holds, for example, additional correspondence between the identification information of the entrance-side gate and the vehicle type and the fee. However, the fee table of the toll fee for the expressway held in the fee table DB25 is not limited to this.
Next, the center server 1 includes, as functional components, a transmission/reception unit 11, a control unit 12, an advertisement information DB13, and a user information DB 14. These functional components are realized, for example, by the CPU101 of the center server 1 executing a control program for the center server 1 of the advertisement delivery system 100 stored in the external storage device 103.
The transmitting/receiving unit 11 controls communication with the roadside device 2 and other servers performed by the communication unit 104. For example, when receiving an advertisement acquisition request, vehicle state information, destination information, and user identification information from the roadside device 2, the transmitting/receiving unit 11 outputs these pieces of information to the control unit 12. Further, for example, when receiving an input of advertisement information and discount information corresponding to the destination information received from the roadside device 2 from the control unit 12, the transmission/reception unit 11 transmits the advertisement information and discount information to the roadside device 2. The transmitting/receiving unit 11 transmits the information of the advertisement fee to a predetermined server. The predetermined server is, for example, a server of a credit card company or the like registered in payment of an advertisement fee of an advertiser of advertisement information corresponding to the destination information.
The control unit 12 receives the vehicle state information and the destination information received from the roadside device 2 from the transmission/reception unit 11. The control unit 12 acquires advertisement information corresponding to the destination information from the advertisement information DB13 described later. For example, the control unit 12 acquires advertisement information associated with a predetermined range including a destination indicated by the destination information from the advertisement information DB 13. When there are a plurality of corresponding advertisement information, for example, the control unit 12 may extract advertisement information associated with a point closest to the destination, advertisement information of interest to a user registered in association with a vehicle, or the like. The predetermined range including the destination is, for example, a range of a predetermined distance from the destination, a region such as a town or a community where the destination is located, a town where the destination is located, and a town around the town.
For example, when the destination information includes the gate identification information of the exit-side gate, the control unit 12 acquires, from the advertisement information DB13, advertisement information associated with a predetermined range in the exit direction from the exit-side gate. The identification information and the positional information of the exit-side shutter are stored in advance in a storage area of the external storage device 103, for example. The predetermined range in the departure direction from the exit-side gate is, for example, a range of a predetermined distance in the departure direction from the exit-side gate, a region such as a town or a community in the departure direction of the exit-side gate, a town of a city in the departure direction from the exit-side gate, a town of a city in the vicinity thereof, or the like.
The control unit 12 determines whether or not the vehicle state information satisfies an advertisement placement condition, and determines that an advertisement is to be placed on the vehicle when the advertisement placement condition is satisfied. The advertisement delivery conditions include, for example, a speed of the vehicle being equal to or lower than a predetermined value, a number of users in a vehicle being in a ride of the vehicle being equal to or greater than two, and automatic driving when the vehicle is an automatic driving vehicle.
When the speed of the vehicle is equal to or lower than the predetermined value, even if the driver of the vehicle views the advertisement information, it is considered that there is no obstacle to driving. When the number of users in the vehicle is two or more, users other than the driver ride in the vehicle, and the advertisement information can be provided to the users other than the driver even if the driver does not see the advertisement information. Further, even if the driver is assumed to be attracted by the advertisement information, the other users can alert the driver, and safety in driving of the vehicle can be ensured. In the case where the vehicle is in automatic driving, for example, since the driver also has a leisure to view the advertisement information, it is possible to ensure the safety of the operation of the vehicle.
When it is determined that an advertisement is to be delivered to a vehicle, the control unit 12 associates the user identification information with the delivered advertisement information, and stores the user identification information and the delivered advertisement information as history information of the advertisement information delivered to the vehicle in the user information DB14 described later.
The control unit 12 obtains discount information of the toll of the highway acquired by receiving the advertisement. The discount information of the toll of the highway obtained by receiving the advertisement is, for example, any one of a discount fee and a discount rate. The discount information is determined based on, for example, a fee table that is set in advance based on the number of times the advertisement is delivered to the vehicle, the total time of the delivered advertisements, and the like. In addition, the discount fee or discount rate may be set in advance for one advertisement delivery. The fee table may be set in advance for each user rank. The method of determining discount information on the toll fee of the highway obtained by receiving the advertisement is not limited to this.
The control unit 12 outputs the advertisement information and discount information to the transmission/reception unit 11, and transmits the advertisement information and discount information to the roadside device 2 through the transmission/reception unit 11. The control unit 12 performs a process of settling an advertisement fee to an advertiser of advertisement information, for example, every time the advertisement information is displayed or at a predetermined timing such as once a month. In the first embodiment, the advertisement fee to the advertiser is determined based on discount information of a passage fee of a highway of a vehicle due to the advertisement information of the advertiser being delivered to the vehicle. In the settlement processing of the advertisement fee, the control unit 12 transmits information of the advertisement fee to a settlement server for performing settlement of the advertisement fee, for example, for each advertiser. The settlement server for settling the advertisement fee is, for example, a server of a credit card company registered for use in settlement. For example, when the timing of the settlement processing of the advertisement fee is a predetermined period such as once per month, the total amount of the advertisement fee is transmitted by one period.
The advertisement information DB13 and the user information DB14 are created in the recording area of the external storage device 103 of the center server 1, for example. In the advertisement information DB13, advertisement information is stored in association with identification information of advertisers and map information. Specifically, for example, in the case where the advertisement information is information relating to a store, a facility, or the like, the advertisement information is stored in the advertisement information DB13 so as to be associated with the location of the store or facility on the map. For example, when the advertisement information is information on a local specialty and a famous property, the advertisement information is stored in the advertisement information DB13 so as to be additionally associated with the corresponding local specialty and famous property. The advertisement information is a file such as a still image or a moving image. In addition, speech may be added.
Further, the advertisement information DB13 also stores information about advertisers, for example. The information on the advertiser includes, for example, identification information of the advertiser, settlement information of the advertisement fee, and the like. The settlement information of the advertisement fee includes, for example, a credit card number used for payment of the advertisement fee, an account number of a bank used for deduction of the advertisement fee, and the like.
The user information DB14 stores, for example, information on users registered as users who receive advertisements in the advertisement delivery system 100. For example, the user information DB14 stores therein user identification information, information relating to vehicles, history information of advertisement information received for placement, and the like in association with each other. The user identification information is, for example, identification information given to the user in the advertisement delivery system 100. The information related to the vehicle includes, for example, vehicle identification information, a vehicle type, and the like. The vehicle identification information is, for example, an ETC card number or a license plate number of a vehicle described on a license plate. For example, discount information of the toll fee of the expressway is acquired based on the history information of the advertisement information received for the advertisement.
The functional configurations of the center server 1, the roadside device 2, and the in-vehicle device 4 shown in fig. 3 are examples, and these functional configurations are not limited to the functional configurations shown in fig. 3.
< Process flow >
Fig. 4 is one example of a flowchart of the processing of the roadside apparatus 2. The processing shown in fig. 4 is repeatedly executed at predetermined cycles, for example. Note that, although the main execution unit of the processing shown in fig. 4 is the CPU201 of the roadside apparatus 2, for convenience of description, the functional components will be mainly described.
In the OP101, the control unit 24 determines whether or not the advertisement permission message is received from the in-vehicle device 4. Along with the advertisement permission message, entry information, ETC card number, vehicle information, user identification information, destination information, vehicle state information are also received. In the case where the advertisement allowance message is received (OP 101: yes), the process proceeds to OP 102. In the case where the advertisement permission message is not received (OP 101: no), the process shown in fig. 4 is ended.
In the OP102, the control unit 24 instructs the fee calculation unit 23 to calculate the toll fee for the expressway, and acquires information on the toll fee for the expressway from the fee calculation unit 23.
In the OP103, the control unit 24 determines whether or not the destination information is received from the in-vehicle device 4. When the destination information is received from the in-vehicle device 4 (OP 103: yes), the process proceeds to OP 105. If the destination information is not received from the in-vehicle device 4 (OP 103: no), the process proceeds to OP 104.
In the OP104, the control unit 24 acquires the gate identification information of the exit-side gate corresponding to the present apparatus as the destination information.
In the OP105, the control unit 24 outputs an advertisement acquisition request to the server communication unit 22, and transmits the advertisement acquisition request to the center server 1 via the server communication unit 22. The user identification information, the destination information, and the vehicle state information are transmitted together with the advertisement acquisition request. For example, when the discount information is a discount rate, the center server 1 may acquire information of discount fee and may transmit information of highway traffic fee together with an advertisement acquisition request in order to acquire advertisement fee of an advertiser.
In the OP106, the control unit 24 determines whether or not the advertisement information and the discount information of the expressway are received from the center server 1. When the advertisement information and the discount information of the expressway are received from the center server 1 (OP 106: yes), the process proceeds to OP 107. For example, if the advertisement information and the discount information of the expressway are not received from the center server 1 even if a predetermined time has elapsed since the advertisement acquisition request was transmitted by the OP106 (no in OP 106), the process proceeds to the OP 109. In the OP109, the control unit 24 transmits the toll on the expressway calculated in the OP102 to the roadside device 2 through the terminal communication unit 21. This is because the toll for the expressway is notified even if the advertisement information cannot be transmitted to the in-vehicle device 4. The predetermined time is, for example, a time longer than the total time required for communication from the vehicle-mounted device 4 to the roadside device 2, from the roadside device 2 to the center server 1, from the center server 1 to the roadside device 2, and from the roadside device to the vehicle-mounted device 4, and shorter than the time required until the vehicle deviates from the communicable range of the roadside device 2 when traveling at a predetermined speed. The predetermined speed is, for example, the highest speed among speeds at which the vehicle can communicate with the roadside device 2 when passing through the ETC gate. After that, the processing shown in fig. 4 ends.
In OP107, the control unit 24 acquires information on the toll of the expressway again based on the discount information received from the center server 1. That is, the control unit 24 obtains the toll of the discounted expressway. In the OP108, the control unit 24 transmits information of the toll of the discounted expressway to the in-vehicle device 4 through the terminal communication unit 21. After that, the processing shown in fig. 4 ends. In addition to the transmission of the information of the toll on the expressway to the in-vehicle device 4 in the OP108 and the OP109, the information of the toll on the expressway is also transmitted to the settlement server of the toll on the expressway through the server communication unit 22. The process of the roadside apparatus 2 shown in fig. 4 is an example, and is not limited thereto.
Fig. 5 is one example of a flowchart of the processing of the center server 1. The processing shown in fig. 5 is repeatedly executed at predetermined cycles, for example. Although the CPU101 of the center server 1 is mainly executed in fig. 5, functional components are mainly described for convenience of description.
In the OP201, the control unit 12 determines whether or not an advertisement acquisition request is received from the roadside device 2. When the advertisement acquisition request is received (OP 201: yes), the process proceeds to OP 201. When the advertisement acquisition request is not received (no in OP 201), the process shown in fig. 5 is ended. Along with the advertisement acquisition request, for example, user identification information, destination information, and vehicle state information are acquired.
In the OP202, the control unit 12 acquires advertisement information corresponding to the received destination information from the advertisement information DB 13. For example, when the destination information includes information indicating a destination of the vehicle, the control unit 12 acquires advertisement information on a predetermined range including the destination. For example, when the destination information includes gate identification information of an exit gate through which the vehicle passes, the control unit 12 acquires advertisement information on a predetermined range in the exit direction from the exit gate.
In the OP203, the control unit 12 determines whether or not the received vehicle state information satisfies an advertisement delivery condition. In the case where the received vehicle state information satisfies the advertisement delivery condition (OP 203: yes), the process proceeds to OP 204. When the received vehicle state information does not satisfy the advertisement delivery condition (OP 203: no), the process shown in fig. 5 is ended.
In the OP204, the control unit 12 obtains discount information of the toll of the expressway based on, for example, the history information of advertisement placement of the corresponding user included in the user information DB 14. In the OP205, the control unit 12 outputs the advertisement information acquired in the OP202 and the discount information acquired in the OP204 to the transmission/reception unit 11, and transmits the advertisement information and the discount information to the roadside device 2 through the transmission/reception unit 11. The control unit 12 associates advertisement information with user identification information and stores the advertisement information in the user information DB14 as advertisement placement history information.
In the OP206, the control unit 12 acquires an advertisement fee corresponding to the advertiser of the advertisement information acquired in the OP202 based on the discount information acquired in the OP204, and transmits information of the advertisement fee to the settlement server of the advertisement fee. After that, the processing shown in fig. 5 is ended. The processing of the center server 1 shown in fig. 5 is an example, and is not limited to this. For example, when the processing of the OP206 is executed by performing batch processing such as one time in a predetermined period, the processing may be executed only at the timing of the batch processing.
Fig. 6 is a diagram showing an example of the sequence of processing in the advertisement delivery system 100. In fig. 6, the in-vehicle device 4 is a vehicle-mounted device mounted on a vehicle owned by a user who has received an advertisement and registered in the advertisement delivery system 100. Further, assume that the advertisement delivery condition is a case where the speed of the vehicle is equal to or lower than a predetermined speed.
In S11, the roadside device 2 transmits a signal including identification information of the exit-side gate at a predetermined cycle. In S21, the in-vehicle device 4 approaches the exit-side gate in the vicinity of the roadside device 2 and receives the signal sent from the roadside device 2. At S22, the vehicle-mounted device 4 transmits the advertisement permission message, the vehicle state information, the destination information, the entrance information, the vehicle information, the ETC card number, and the user identification information to the roadside device 2. However, in fig. 6, the advertisement permission message and the vehicle state information are extracted and displayed. In fig. 6, the in-vehicle device 4 is configured to transmit the speed of the vehicle as the vehicle state information. In S22, the speed of the vehicle is equal to or lower than a predetermined speed in the advertisement placement condition.
In S31, the roadside device 2 receives the advertisement permission message from the vehicle-mounted device 4 (fig. 4, OP 101: yes), and acquires information of the toll of the expressway based on the entrance information and the vehicle information (fig. 4, OP 102). Since the roadside apparatus 2 receives the destination information from the vehicle-mounted apparatus 4 (yes in fig. 4 and OP 103), at S32, it transmits an advertisement acquisition request to the center server 1 (fig. 4 and OP 105). Along with the advertisement acquisition request, the user identification information, the vehicle state information, and the destination information are also transmitted to the center server 1.
In S41, the center server 1 receives the advertisement acquisition request from the roadside device 2 (yes in fig. 5 and OP 201), and the destination information received together with the advertisement acquisition request includes information indicating the destination, and thus acquires advertisement information corresponding to the destination (fig. 5 and OP 202).
At S42, the center server 1 determines whether or not it is possible to place an advertisement in a vehicle corresponding to the user identification information received together with the advertisement acquisition request, that is, whether or not the vehicle state information received together with the advertisement acquisition request satisfies the advertisement placement condition (fig. 5, OP 203). In fig. 6, the speed of the vehicle on which the in-vehicle device 4 is mounted is received as the vehicle state information, and the advertisement delivery condition is that the speed of the vehicle is a predetermined value or less. The speed of the vehicle transmitted from the in-vehicle device 4 is equal to or lower than a predetermined value. Thus, in S42, the center server 1 determines that an advertisement is to be delivered to the in-vehicle device 4 (OP 203: YES in FIG. 5).
In S43, the center server 1 obtains discount information of the toll of the expressway obtained by receiving the advertisement (fig. 5, OP 204). At S44, the center server 1 transmits advertisement information and discount information to the roadside device 2 (fig. 5, OP 205). At S45, the center server 1 transmits information of the advertisement fee corresponding to the advertiser of the advertisement information to be delivered based on the discount information acquired at S43 to the settlement server.
At S51, the roadside device 2 receives the advertisement information and discount information of the toll for the expressway from the center server 1 (fig. 4, OP 106: yes), acquires the toll for the expressway after discount based on the discount information (fig. 4, OP107), and transmits the information of the toll after discount and the advertisement information to the vehicle-mounted device 4 (fig. 4, OP 108). At S52, the in-vehicle device 4 displays the information of the toll on the expressway and the advertisement information received from the roadside device 2 on the display device in the vehicle.
< Effect of the first embodiment >
According to the first embodiment, when a vehicle passes through an exit-side gate of a highway, advertisement information corresponding to the destination of the vehicle is delivered to the vehicle in a case where the state of the vehicle is considered to be in a state where safety can be ensured even if an advertisement is delivered. By delivering advertisement information corresponding to the destination of the vehicle, that is, the destination to which the vehicle is traveling from now, the interest of the occupant riding on the vehicle can be directed to the advertisement information, thereby improving the advertisement effect. At the same time, since the advertisement information is limited to be delivered when it is considered that the safety is ensured, the safety of the operation of the vehicle can be ensured. Further, the case where the exit gate of the expressway passes through the exit gate is one of the events attracting the attention of the vehicle occupant, and the advertisement information is delivered at that time, whereby the advertisement effect can be improved. Further, since the exit gate of the expressway is on the route to the destination, the advertisement information can be delivered at a good timing before reaching the destination.
Further, according to the first embodiment, the roadside device of the existing ETC system can be used as the roadside device 2, and the ETC vehicle-mounted device can be used as the vehicle-mounted device 4, and in this case, the introduction cost of the advertisement delivery system 100 can be suppressed. In addition, existing systems can be effectively utilized. Further, by using the existing ETC system, it becomes easy to acquire detailed information of the vehicle and the user, and it becomes easier to investigate the advertising effect.
< other embodiments >
The above embodiment is merely an example, and the present invention can be implemented by appropriately changing the embodiments without departing from the scope of the invention.
In the first embodiment, the vehicle-mounted device 4 acquires the vehicle state information and transmits the vehicle state information to the center server 1 via the roadside device 2, but the method of acquiring the vehicle state information is not limited to this. For example, the in-vehicle device 4 may notify the center server 1 of information that is a material for determining the vehicle state, and the center server 1 may determine the vehicle state based on the information to acquire the vehicle state information. More specifically, for example, when the vehicle state information is the speed of the vehicle, the in-vehicle device 4 may transmit a plurality of pieces of position information acquired within a predetermined period before and after the detection of the roadside device 2 together with the advertisement permission message. The plurality of pieces of position information may be transmitted to the center server 1 via the roadside device 2, and the center server 1 may acquire the speed of the vehicle from the plurality of pieces of position information. For example, when the vehicle state information indicates the number of users in the vehicle, the in-vehicle device 4 may notify the center server 1 of acquisition information of a predetermined sensor in the vehicle together with the advertisement permission message, and the center server 1 may acquire the number of users in the vehicle based on the acquisition information of the predetermined sensor in the vehicle. The predetermined sensor acquires information, for example, from a camera whose angle of view is oriented toward the inside of the vehicle.
Alternatively, when a sensor such as a camera and a vehicle speed measuring instrument is provided at the exit-side gate together with the roadside apparatus 2, the roadside apparatus 2 may acquire acquisition information of the sensor (such as a captured image of the camera and a measurement value of the speed measuring instrument) when receiving the advertisement permission message from the in-vehicle apparatus 4, and transmit the acquired information as vehicle state information together with the advertisement acquisition request to the center server 1.
Further, although the first embodiment has described an example in which an advertisement is delivered when a vehicle passes through an exit-side gate of an expressway, the technique described in the first embodiment can be applied to, for example, a case in which an advertisement is delivered when a vehicle passes through an entrance-side gate of an expressway.
In addition, although the first embodiment has been described taking as an example a case where a vehicle passes through an exit-side gate provided at a toll booth of an expressway, an object to which the technology described in the first embodiment is applied is not limited to an exit or an entrance of an expressway. For example, the present invention can be applied to an entrance gate or an exit gate of a toll parking lot.
The present invention can be applied to a predetermined area in which a roadside device capable of recording an entrance and an exit of a vehicle and communicating with the vehicle is provided, even if a gate is not provided. Further, the technique described in the first embodiment may also be applied to, for example, an entrance of a vehicle to which a facility of the type that pays a fee at the time of entry enters.
Although the advertisement information delivered from the center server 1 to the vehicle is transmitted to the vehicle-mounted device 4 via the roadside device 2 in the first embodiment, the advertisement information delivered to the vehicle may be transmitted from the center server 1 to the vehicle-mounted device 4 without passing through the roadside device 2 when the center server 1 and the vehicle-mounted device 4 can communicate without passing through the roadside device 2.
In the first embodiment, the advertisement information delivered from the center server 1 to the vehicle is transmitted to the in-vehicle device 4 and output to the display device provided in the vehicle, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the center server 1 may transmit advertisement information to a display device present in the periphery of the vehicle or an exit gate through which the vehicle passes, and output the advertisement information.
The processes or means described in the present disclosure can be freely combined and implemented as long as no technical contradiction occurs.
The processing described above as being performed by one apparatus may be shared by a plurality of apparatuses and executed. Alternatively, the processing described as being performed by a different apparatus may be executed by one apparatus. In a computer system, what kind of hardware configuration (server configuration) to implement each function can be flexibly changed.
The present invention can also be implemented by providing a computer with a computer program in which the functions described in the above-described embodiments are installed, and causing one or more processors included in the computer to read and execute the program. Such a computer program may be provided to the computer by a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium that can be connected to a system bus of the computer, or may be provided to the computer via a network. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium includes, for example, any type of disk such as a magnetic disk (floppy disk (registered trademark), Hard Disk Drive (HDD), or the like), an optical disk (CD-ROM, DVD disk, blu-ray disk, or the like), a Read Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), an EPROM, an EEPROM, a magnetic card, a flash memory, an optical card, or any type of media suitable for storing electronic commands.
