grinding the raw materials, sieving, mixing, adding water 20-40 times the weight of the mixture, soaking for 1-2 hr, decocting for 1-2 hr, filtering, and decocting with strong fire until the decoction is thick.
The traditional Chinese medicine composition provided by the invention has the following analysis of the medicines:
fructus Aurantii, bitter and pungent in flavor, cool in nature, enters lung, spleen and large intestine channels, breaks qi, moves phlegm, and removes food stagnation.
Honeysuckle flower, sweet in taste and cold in nature, can clear away heat and toxic material. It is indicated for epidemic febrile disease, fever, bloody dysentery, carbuncle and external diseases, swelling, scrofula and anal fistula.
Bupleurum root, radix bupleuri, bitter in taste, cool in nature, harmonizes exterior and interior, soothes liver and raises yang. It is used to treat alternating cold and heat, fullness in chest, hypochondriac pain, bitter taste in mouth, deafness, headache, blurred vision, malaria, prolapse of anus, menoxenia, and metroptosis.
Fructus forsythiae is bitter in taste and cool in nature, and has the effects of clearing heat, detoxifying, dissipating stagnation and reducing swelling. It is indicated for warm heat, erysipelas, macula, superficial infection, abscess, swelling, scrofula and stranguria.
The burdock is pungent and bitter in taste and cold in nature, enters lung and stomach meridians, disperses wind and heat, clears away heat and toxic materials, promotes eruption, ventilates lung, relieves sore throat and swells.
Mu Xiang is pungent and bitter in flavor, warm in nature, can promote the circulation of qi, alleviate pain, invigorate the spleen and promote digestion.
Licorice root, radix Glycyrrhizae is sweet in taste and neutral in nature, regulates the middle warmer and relieves urgency, moistens the lung, detoxifies the toxin, and harmonizes the effects of the other drugs.
