Technical Field
The invention relates to a support frame for a drafting system unit for drafting a fiber band at a workstation of a textile machine, and to a drafting system comprising the drafting system unit having a load arm with at least one upper roller.
Background
Drafting systems of various designs for textile machines are known from the prior art. They are used to draw or stretch a fiber ribbon, thereby reducing the cross-section of the fiber. During drawing, the fibers must slide relative to each other as uniformly as possible in order to obtain a fiber band that is as uniform as possible.
For drafting the fiber band, the drafting system usually has a plurality of roller pairs arranged one behind the other, which clamp the fiber band running between them. The roller pair usually comprises a driven lower roller and an upper press roller on the lower roller, in which case the upper press roller is held in a rotating arrangement by a load arm. Stretching of the fibre band is effected in which the peripheral speed is increased from the pair of rollers to the pair of rollers in the transport direction of the fibre band defined by the direction of rotation of the pair of rollers.
In a drafting system unit, a load arm of the type described above is used to press an upper pressure roller or top roller arranged on the load arm against an associated bottom roller with a predetermined pressure, so that the top roller rests under pressure on the respective bottom roller in the operating position. A drafting system unit for a textile machine of the type described above is a component of a drafting system of a textile machine, in which case the drafting system unit can also be configured as a complete drafting system in accordance with its design.
The known textile machine has a separate drafting system, at each workstation a plurality of roller pairs being arranged in rows for each fiber band to be drafted, wherein a load arm is assigned to a roller pair. The drafting system is usually integrated into the textile machine in such a way that only the wearing parts can be repaired and, if necessary, replaced in an operator-friendly manner.
Maintenance and repair work (for example, carrying out extensive cleaning work and periodic inspection or determination of the cause of a fault, as well as adapting the roller pair to the yarn material to be drawn) must be carried out on the textile machine, with the drafting system in its installed state, in which case the adjacent work stations and the adjacent collection make such work more difficult.
Disclosure of Invention
On this basis, the problem addressed by the invention is to provide a drawing system unit for drawing a fiber band at a workstation of a textile machine, which can be checked, repaired and/or adapted in a user-friendly manner to the fiber band material to be drawn.
The present invention solves this problem by means of a support frame for a drafting system unit and a drafting system. The textile machine is preferably a spinning machine for drafting the fiber band, such as a ring spinning machine, a roving machine, a rotor spinning machine or the like.
The support frame according to the invention is characterized in that it has a coupling part and a locking unit for detachably connecting the support frame to the textile machine, in particular to an associated workstation. The design of the support frame with the coupling part and the locking unit makes it possible to arrange the support frame on the textile machine in a convenient and modular manner and to position and fix it precisely in the operating position via said locking unit. By unlocking the locking unit, the drafting system unit can be easily removed or taken off from the textile machine or the workstation as required.
The support frame preferably engages with a corresponding receiving portion on the textile machine or the workstation via the coupling portion and the locking unit. In the operating position, the locking unit ensures that the load arm, which has at least one upper roll and is pivotably carried on the support frame, is arranged in a fixed position, thereby ensuring reliable operation of the drafting system with the drafting system unit. The maintenance and setting work and the adaptation of the pressure roller to the fiber band material to be drafted on the load arm can be carried out conveniently in a suitable working space after its simple removal. In addition, the support frame or the drafting system unit comprising such a support frame can be easily and cost-effectively replaced with a new, improved or further developed support frame or drafting system unit, so that for example also existing drafting systems can be improved by simply replacing them with further developed drafting system units.
The arrangement of the drafting system unit on the textile machine or workstation and the removal of the drafting system unit from the aforementioned textile machine or workstation can in principle be carried out in any manner. For example, a design can be envisaged in which the support frame or the drafting system unit can be moved in a linear manner between a release position, in which the drafting system unit can be arranged on and removed from the textile machine, and an operating position, in which the support frame or the drafting system unit is arranged while the associated drafting system is operating.
However, according to an advantageous further development of the invention, the coupling part is configured to be arranged on a receiving part of the textile machine or the workstation for moving the support frame between a release position, in which the support frame or the drafting system unit is removable from the assigned workstation, and an operating position, in which the support frame or the drafting system unit is arranged in a fixed position at the assigned workstation for operating a load arm carried on the support frame. According to this design of the invention, the support frame is first arranged on a suitably configured receiving portion of the textile machine for assembly. From this release position, the support frame is moved by means of a suitable design of the coupling part into the operating position (independent of the design of the receiving part), in which the drafting system unit is then fixed in place on the textile machine or the workstation via the locking unit.
This design of the coupling part for moving the support frame between the release position and the operating position makes it possible to dispense with a corresponding adaptation of the textile machine or workstation to the coupling part or a special design of the receiving part taking into account the shape of the coupling part. According to a further development of the invention, due to the design of the coupling part, a basic means of moving the support frame has been provided, which ensures sufficient support of the drafting system unit on the textile machine mainly via the receiving part. For example, a possible preferred design of this further development of the invention is that the coupling part is hinged on the support frame such that the movement is achieved independently of the design of the receiving part by a suitable design of the support frame.
As already mentioned above, the basic design of the connection between the support frame or the drafting system unit via the coupling part and the receiving part on the textile machine can in principle be freely selected. However, according to an advantageous design of the invention, the coupling part has a recess which is adapted to a receiving part, in particular a frame support of the textile machine. This design enables a particularly simple and cost-effective construction and manufacture of the support frame, in which case the advantageous cylindrical design of the frame holder has a suitable recess design, so that the drafting system unit can be carried out in a particularly simple manner in the release position and the operating position.
The recess advantageously provided for arranging the support frame or the drafting system unit on the frame carrier can in principle be formed by any element, for example a flange arranged on the support frame can be provided for this purpose, which has a corresponding recess. However, according to a particularly advantageous design of the invention, the recess is configured integrally with the support frame. The configuration of the recess on the support frame allows the omission of additional components, thus reducing the manufacturing costs of the support frame in a complementary manner. In addition, the integral design of the recess on the support frame provides a weight advantage over the use of an auxiliary component and recess.
The design of the locking unit for fixing the support frame or the drafting system unit in the operating position on the textile machine or the workstation can in principle be carried out in any way. For example, it is possible to envisage using magnetic or electric locking elements on the support frame, which interact with corresponding components on the textile machine when in the operating position. However, according to an advantageous further development of the invention, the locking unit has a stop body which is movable between an open position and a latched position and which is engageable with a stop receiver on the textile machine in the operating position of the support frame.
This design of the locking unit has a particularly simple structure and is therefore cost-effective and not prone to malfunction. A stop body on the locking unit of the support frame is movable between the open position and the latched position, in which case in the latched position the stop body engages with a corresponding stop receiver on the textile machine. In this position, the form-locking produced by the stop body and the stop receiver ensures that the support frame or the drafting system unit is reliably held in a fixed position on the textile machine. For releasing the drafting system unit, a simple displacement of the stop body from the stop receiver is sufficient to move the support frame from the operating position into the release position. In principle, the design of the locking body and the corresponding design of the locking receiver can be freely selected. For example, a stop hook may be used which can engage in a corresponding stop hole or bolt surrounded by the stop hook. The stop body can also be configured as a sliding stop bolt which engages in a corresponding stop bolt receiver in the latched position.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the locking body is also pretensioned in the direction of the latching position. A suitable design of the invention ensures that the drafting system unit is automatically locked in the operating position after being displaced from the release position into the operating position by the stop body being pretensioned in the latching position. This reliably prevents erroneous operation or failure to lock due to an operation error. If the support frame needs to be removed, it is only necessary to displace the stop body into the open position against the pretensioning, so that the support frame can then be easily moved from the operating position into the release position and then removed from the textile machine.
The support frame has at least one carrying position for pivotably carrying a load arm assigned to the drafting system unit, which can hold at least one upper roller in a rotatably movable arrangement. According to a preferred further development of the invention, the support frame is also configured to accommodate at least one additional aggregate, in particular a drive unit for arranging a lower roller, a communication unit and/or a control device of a drive unit arranged on the support frame according to an advantageous further development of the invention.
The option of arranging further components of the drafting system on the support frame makes it possible to configure the drafting system unit as a complete drafting system which can be arranged on or removed from the textile machine or the associated workstation in a modular and flexible manner as a whole. In addition, a further preferred design of the support frame with fastening rails for accommodating the at least one additional aggregate provides the option of easily arranging and adjusting the at least one additional aggregate on the support frame and also removing it again from the support frame, for example by means of a standardized design of the fastening rails. The greater flexibility resulting therefrom enables cost-effective maintenance and, if necessary, simple replacement of a separate additional aggregate, which may also be a lower roll assigned to an upper roll.
The connection of the drafting system unit, in particular of one or more electronic units arranged on the support frame, to the associated control unit can be established in a simple manner via a cable connection or via a communication unit configured for wireless data transmission. The data transmission can be carried out by a controller of the workstation, a central controller of the entire textile machine or a higher-level controller controlling a plurality of textile machines.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, two bearing points are provided on the support frame, each bearing point being intended for pivotably bearing a load arm, which is in particular configured for bearing at least one upper roller between the load arms. In contrast to the load arms known from the prior art, in which adjacent upper rolls are connected to one another by a web loaded by the load arms, the arrangement of the upper rolls between the load arms makes it possible for the pressure of the upper rolls to be transferred particularly uniformly to the associated lower rolls, since the load forces act on both sides of the upper rolls and not in the center of the web running between the two upper rolls. The more uniform pressure distribution ensures in a particularly advantageous manner that the fibers slide uniformly relative to one another during drawing, so that a particularly uniform fiber band can be produced.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the support frame has an actuating element, in particular a clamping element. The support frame can be easily removed from the textile machine or workstation or arranged there using, for example, a handling element which can also be configured to accommodate a suitable handling tool. In a particularly simple design, the handling element is configured as a clamping element which enables the operator to clamp the support frame and also to move it between the operating position and the release position in a particularly reliable manner. One or more clamping elements may be arranged in view of the actuation force that occurs for ease of operation.
A drafting system according to the invention equipped with a drafting system unit having a carrying arm with at least one upper roller is characterized in that the drafting system unit has a support frame according to one of the above-described preferred embodiments, which carries the carrying arm in a pivotable manner.
A suitably configured drafting system is characterized in that, depending on the components of the drafting system unit arranged on the support frame, these components can be arranged on the textile machine in a simple and convenient manner and can also be removed therefrom again. This makes it possible to carry out maintenance, repair, setting and adaptation work in a convenient manner in a separate working space remote from the textile machine, with all components of the drafting system unit being accessible. Firstly, the drafting system unit can be installed and removed again in a particularly time-saving manner, which also allows cleaning work to be carried out more quickly and thus reduces the downtime of the textile machine. It is also easy to change the drafting system so that suitably trained personnel are not required, which would otherwise be required.
According to a preferred embodiment, according to the embodiment described above as an example, two load arms are arranged on the support frame, with at least one upper roller between them, which can be connected via a clamping element or to each other. In particular, the gripping element may extend parallel to the upper roller from one load arm to the other or may be arranged on the load arm in such a way and fastened in a detachable manner. Such a common clamping element enables the drawing system unit or the drawing system to be removed from the textile machine or the workstation in a simple manner (including a reduced number of components), and the aforementioned drawing system unit or drawing system can be arranged on the workstation or the textile machine in a corresponding manner. The detachable arrangement and fastening of the clamping element enables a further reduction of the number of components. The clamping element can thus be carried by the operator and arranged and fastened to the drafting system in case of action. This fastening can be performed in the usual manner by form-locking or non-form-locking. Furthermore, the common clamping element enables the load arm to be pivoted together in the usual manner in an operating position of the support frame into a position at a distance from the lower roller to perform measures such as cleaning one or more of the upper and/or lower rollers or other measures which do not require removal of the drafting system unit or drafting system from the textile machine or workstation, thereby further simplifying handling.
According to another preferred embodiment, the drafting system is configured as a drafting system module which can be arranged and removed at a workstation. For this purpose, the following are arranged, by way of example and to a minimum, on the supporting frame: at least one load arm with at least one upper roller, a lower roller assigned to the at least one upper roller, and a drive which drives the lower roller in a rotating manner and can be connected to a controller via a cable or in a wireless manner. Furthermore, in a preferred embodiment, a controller for driving the lower roller may be arranged on the support frame and in particular connected to the driver.

Fig. 1 and 3 show the drafting system 2 assigned to the spinning position 1 in its operating position, the drafting system 2 being fixed relative to the spinning position 1. The spinning position 1 and the drafting system 2 form a workstation of the textile machine with a large number of workstations (not illustrated here) arranged next to one another.
In the operating position shown in fig. 1 and 3, the fiber band fed into the drafting system 2 (not illustrated here) is drafted between a total of four roller drives, each consisting of an upper roller 7 and an associated lower roller, and is fed into the spinning nozzle 10 of the spinning position 1.
Lower rollers driven by respective drivers 8 and upper rollers 7 arranged on two parallel extending load arms 6 are arranged on the support frame 3, in which case the load arms 6 are pivotably connected to the support frame 3. The support frame 3 has two side elements 15, each side element 15 being provided with a recess 5.
In order to assemble the drafting system 2 shown in fig. 2 in the disassembled position, the drafting system 2 is first arranged in a release position on the textile machine, wherein the recess 5 of the support frame 3 rests on the support tube 4 of the textile machine forming the receiving section. In order to put the textile machine into operation, the drawing system 2 is moved from this release position into the operating position of the drawing system 2 shown in fig. 1 and 3 by pivoting the drawing system 2 about the support tube 4. In the operating position, the stop hook 12 connected to the side element 15 (which is arranged at that end of the side element 15 of the support frame 3 which is opposite to the recess 5) engages with the rod-like stop hook receiver 13 at the spinning position 1, in which case the stop hook opening 14 partially grips the rod-like stop hook receiver 13.
Via the stop hook 12 and the stop hook receiver 13, the drafting system 2 is aligned relative to the spinning position 1, so that the drafted fiber band from the drafting system 2 reliably reaches the spinning nozzle 10 of the spinning position 1. The control means 11 are arranged on the underside of the support frame 3, in which case the control means 11 are carried on the support frame 3 in a manner allowing linear sliding by means of a guide rail (not illustrated here) which is fixed to the side elements 15 via fastening holes 16.
The load arms 6 arranged at a distance from each other are used together for carrying the upper rolls 7 between the load arms 6, so that the upper rolls 7 are pressed with a uniform load force against the lower rolls, which are each driven by a separate drive 8. In order to facilitate the adjustment of the drafting system 2, a handle 9 is arranged on the load-carrying arm 6, which also allows the load-carrying arm 6 to pivot relative to the lower roller after it has been previously unlocked.
