The intelligent garbage can based on the Internet of things as claimed in claim 1, the upper end of the interior of the fourth garbage can (4) is provided with a sterilizing device (41), the sterilizing device (41) comprises a sterilizing liquid box (411), a liquid adding pipe (412) is fixedly connected with the rear side of the top end of the sterilizing liquid box (411), a liquid level sensor (417) is embedded and installed at the front side of the top end of the disinfectant tank (411), an odor sensor (413) is installed at one end of the disinfectant tank (411), and the bottom end of the disinfectant tank (411) is fixedly connected with a liquid outlet pipe (415), the rear end of the inner side of the liquid adding pipe (412) is provided with a second manual valve (418), a second electromagnetic valve (416) is arranged at one end of the inner side of the liquid outlet pipe (415) close to the disinfectant tank (411), and the lower end of the outer side of the liquid outlet pipe (415) is provided with a plurality of disinfection nozzles (414).
