Abstract

本发明属于玻璃生产技术。该着色剂的组分为:Fe2O3、Cr2O3、Nd2O3;各组分的用量占玻璃总重量百分比为:Fe2O30.03~0.7、Cr2O3 0.02~0.3、Nd2O3 0.02~2。利用本发明提供的着色剂生产的翡翠绿玻璃具有以下特性:可见光透过率51~55%、太阳光投射比57.2、主波长492~495nm。利用本发明提供的着色剂组成不需在配料中加入任何用于促使着色剂着色的氧化剂,可以避免强氧化剂对大窑的侵蚀,同时减少了NOX的排放,由于采用Fe-Cr-Nd混合着色系统,比原翡翠绿的Cu-Cr着色系统着色更加稳定。

Description

无铜翡翠绿浮法玻璃着色剂
本发明属于玻璃生产方法,主要涉及一种无铜翡翠绿浮法玻璃着色剂。
目前,翡翠绿浮法玻璃的生产,均采用铜着色系统。为保证翡翠绿的特殊色调,需保证铜在玻璃中以大量的Cu2+形式存在。由于铜在玻璃中存在如下动态平衡:Cu2+=Cu+,Cu+不显色,Cu2+呈蓝色,当环境气氛为氧化状态时,平衡向左边移动,Cu2+含量将增加。为满足这一条件,必须在配合料中加入NaNO3之类的强氧化剂,其结果导致大窑侵蚀严重,大幅度缩短窑龄。同时NOX的排放也加剧了环境的污染。另外,由于众所周知的原因,成型锡槽内为保证浮抛介质不被氧化,采用了还原性保护气体,这就与Cu2+要求的氧化环境发生矛盾,生产中对锡槽危害较大。
本发明的目的是提出一种翡翠绿玻璃的着色剂,使其可解决熔化及成型中的技术问题,保护锡槽,同时使其可以降低制造这种类型玻璃的成本。
Na-Ca-Si平板玻璃的基本特征在于由下述基础成分组成(以占玻璃总重量的重量百分比计)
SiO2                     65~75%
Na2O+K2O                10~20%
CaO                        5~16%
MgO                        2~7%
Al2O3                        0~5%
基础玻璃的组成对本发明不是关键的,可以普通的Na-Ca-Si平板玻璃组成,该基础玻璃是本领域内技术人员所共知的,在连续熔化炉中是可以生产,并且通过浮法工艺形成平板玻璃的。
在上述基础玻璃组份中加入本发明着色剂的组分及其用量范围为:
着色剂组分及用量占玻璃总重量百分比为:
Fe2O3:            0.03~0.7
Cr2O3:            0.02~0.3
Nd2O3:            0.02~2
在着色剂组份中,Nd2O3的加入对保证翡翠绿的特有色调具有十分重要的作用,Nd3+在574nm和742nm存在较强的吸收,具有Cu2+在700nm-780nm处相似的吸收峰。因此,Nd3+的存在可以达到所要求的光谱色调。
在以上组分中,Fe2O3在玻璃中存在部分Fe2+与Cu2+的吸收峰十分接近,产生类似的光谱特性,但过多铁的加入,导致玻璃液吸热增加,熔化难度加大。为弥补色调的不足,本发明着色剂引入了Nd2O3,因此,通过上述着色剂的混合着色可以生产出满意的翡翠绿色玻璃。
利用本发明提供的着色剂生产的翡翠绿玻璃具有以下特性:
可见光透率:51~55%
太阳光投射比:57.2
主波长:492-495nm
采用本发明提供的着色剂组成不需在配料中加入任何用于促使着色剂着色的氧化剂,可以避免强氧化剂对大窑的侵蚀,同时,减少了NOX的排放,由于采用Fe-Cr-Nd混合着色系统,比原翡翠绿的Cu-Cr着色系统着色更加稳定,可以大幅度延长窑龄,节约制造成本。
在本发明中,在玻璃组成中加入的着色剂是以氧化物的形式,但不排除其它形式。如本领域内的熟练技术人员在知道除氧化物之外的其它形式,如元素形式,也可以用在配料组成中,但在配料熔融和精制过程中,它将转化成为本发明所公开范围的氧化物形式,同样为本发明的特征所包容。

在下述基础玻璃(以占玻璃总重量的重量百分比计)
SiO2                            71.3
Na2O                            14.7
CaO                               8.6
MgO                               4.4
Al2O3                          1.0
加入本发明所给出的着色剂如下:占玻璃总重量百分比含量
Fe2O3                            0.69%
Cr2O3                            0.06%
Nd2O3                               1%
经均匀搅拌和高温熔制便可得到纯正的翡翠绿色浮法玻璃,其可见光透过率:54%;太阳光投射比:57.2%;主波长:492nm。

1、一种无铜翡翠绿浮法玻璃着色剂,其特征是着色剂的组分为:Fe2O3、Cr2O3、Nd2O3;各组分的用量占玻璃总重量百分比为:Fe2O30.03~0.7、Cr2O30.02~0.3、Nd2O30.02~2。
