Description

本发明涉及二芳基颜料组合物以及由该二芳基颜料组合物制得的印刷油墨,尤其是书刊凹印油墨。
二芳基颜料在印刷墨的制造中是常用的一类重要的着色材料。颜料黄12是一种广泛使用的溶剂基书刊凹印油墨,而且这时通常进行表面处理以赋予某些所需的应用特性。其中典型的表面处理剂是长链烃胺。GB 1085835指出,可使用脂肪族伯胺来处理颜料黄12以赋予良好的着色强度、光泽、透明度和改进的流变性能。在US 4515639中,也使用二胺来处理二芳基颜料,以减少油墨从中渗到质量较差的裸露纸料中。还有其它许多专利描述了用胺处理得到改性的颜料黄12,用来制备书刊凹印油墨,例如:US4643770,4462833,4220473,3905825,3827902,3655641和3607861。在GB1472781中,也描述了结合使用白色无机填料与烃伯胺处理的二芳基颜料在不损害光泽和强度的情况下改善渗透性的方法,所述无机填料是沉淀碳酸钙、瓷土、钡白或滑石。
本发明描述的是:用具有活性氧化物或氢氧化物表面的特定的无机化合物来处理已经过胺处理的二芳基颜料尤其是颜料黄12,使得凹印油墨的光泽和着色值大大改善。
因此,本发明提供一种颜料组合物,它包括二芳基黄色颜料、一元伯胺、二元伯胺和具有活性氧化物或氢氧物表面的无机化合物。
本发明的二芳基颜料组合物可以是例如颜料黄12,13,14,17,83,114,126,127,176,颜料橙16或颜料橙34或它们的组合物或混合物。
优选的颜料是颜料黄12,因为它广泛地用在溶剂基书刊凹印油墨中。
用于对本发明颜料组合物表面处理的一元伯胺可以是具有10-24个碳原子、优选12-18个碳原子的长链烷基的伯胺。适宜的一元伯胺的例子包括硬脂胺、松香胺如木树脂的胺衍生物(

上述化合物的例子是1,3-二氨基丙烷、1,4-二氨基丁烷、1,8-二氨基辛烷、甲基亚氨基二丙基胺、二亚乙基三胺和五亚乙基六胺。特别优选的是四亚乙基五胺(TEPA)。
与上述胺一并添加以完整形成二芳基颜料组合物并提供活性氧化物或氢氧化物表面的无机化合物是金属例如钛、铝、镁、锌、锡、铁和镍/锑混合物的化合物。特别有价值的是市售级的二氧化钛(2

所述具有活性氧化物或氢氧化物表面的化合物可直接加入或就地生成。例如:可以使用金属的盐类,使混合物呈碱性以沉淀出氧化物或氢氧化物。适宜的盐包括硫酸镁和硫酸铝。如果需要,可以使用化合物的混合物。
这些有机化合物可以在颜料合成之前、合成过程中或完成后加入,但优选在加完二胺(例如TEPA)之后和颜料组合物的分离之前加入。
本发明的二芳基颜料组合物可按下述方法制备:使3,3-二氯联苯胺四氮化,然后在水中用一种或多种成分如N-乙酰乙酰苯胺、乙酰乙酰-2-甲苯胺、乙酰乙酰-2-氯苯胺、乙酰乙酰-2,4-二甲苯胺和乙酰乙酰-2,5-二甲氧基-4-氯苯胺使其偶合。
一元伯胺和/或二元伯胺的添加可以在颜料合成之前、合成期间或之后时行。合成偶合优选在二元伯胺(例如TEPA)的存在下进行,而一元伯胺可以在合成完毕后加入。任何所需的遮光剂都可与一元伯胺一道加入,例如:颜料橙34。然后可加入无机化合物以完成组合。
一元伯胺的用量可以是二芳基颜料的5-30%(重量),优选15-25%(重量)。二元伯胺的用量可以是颜料重量的1-15%(重量),优选1.5-8%(重量)。有机化合物的用量可以是颜料重量的0.1-10%(重量),优选2.5-10%(重量)。
用这些组合物制成的书刊凹印油墨在光泽和着色强度方面显示出显著的改善。
实施例1
将32.6份3,3′-二氧联苯胺二盐酸盐在250份含40份浓盐酸(36%)的水中形成的均匀糊状物搅拌,然后用13.8份硝酸钠溶于25份水的溶液四氮化制得四唑鎓盐溶液。同时于0-5℃保温。加入1份活性炭使四唑鎓盐溶液澄清,随后过滤。在0-5℃下、用水将四唑翁盐溶液调至800份的最终重量。
将47.5份N-乙酰乙酰苯胺和22.6份氢氧化钠(47%)溶于465份水中,然后在剧烈搅拌下缓慢加入18.5份冰乙酸在135份水中的溶液制得偶合组分悬浮液。再向该偶合组分悬浮液中缓慢加入4.5份四亚乙基五胺在180份水中的溶液。
通过向沉淀的偶合组分悬浮液中逐渐加入四氮化的二氯联苯胺来进行偶合反应,反应过程中保持pH在4.5-5.5之间并通过添加冰块将温度控制在15-25℃之间。
将13.1份N-烷基多亚丙基多胺(

Inipol PS)和3份冰乙酸在290份水中的混合物搅拌加热至80℃而制成溶液,向其中加入1.2份颜料橙34和4.5份二氧化钛,用SILVERSON搅拌机搅拌5分钟后,加到偶合浆液中。
将浆液升温于90-95℃,保温10分钟,然后加入15%氢氧化钠溶液使pH值增至11.0。加冷水使浆液冷却至70℃。吸滤,用水洗至滤液的电导率小于500μS。
产物于80℃干燥20小时,然后碾碎,通过250μm筛。
实施例2-4
重复实施例1,只是用等量的下列化合物替代二氧化钛:

用实施例1,2和3的颜料组合物制成的油墨,用实施例1的颜料但不加二氧化钛制成对比油墨。
往蜜罐(honey jar)中装200g 10mm滑石瓷球、56.7g金属树脂酸盐与甲苯的混合物。26.6g甲苯和16.7g颜料制得油墨。将混合物以116转/分钟的转速球磨4小时。倒出研磨料用2号壳牌粘度杯测定流动性。用甲苯稀释至最终油墨通过2号壳牌粘度杯的时间为16秒。
然后用K-型刮板从油墨中刮样。用Gretag  D152密度计测定强度,用Erichsen微型光泽计评定光泽。在下面给出的表中,对比油墨的强度和光泽设定为100%,所以任何超过100%的数字都表示有所改进。可以看出,在所有情况下,本发明的油墨都表现出较多的强度和改善的光泽。

Claims (13)

1、一种颜料组合物,它包括二芳基颜料、一元伯胺、二元伯胺和具有活性氧化物或氢氧化物表面的无机化合物。
2、权利要求1所述的组合物,其中二芳基颜料黄12。
3、权利要求1或2所述的组合物,其中一元伯胺是具有10-24个碳原子的长链烷基的一元伯胺。
4、前述任意一项权利要求所述的组合物,其中二元伯胺是通式I的二元伯胺:
式中A是C2-8亚烷基,n是0-8。
5、权利要求4所述的组合物,其中二元伯胺是四乙亚乙基五胺。
6、前述任意一项权利要求所述的组合物,其中具有活性氧化物或氢氧化物表面的无机化合物直接加入或就地生成。
7、权利要求6所述的组合物,其中无机化合物是二氧化钠、硫酸镁、硫酸铝或钛酸丁酯或其衍生物。
8、前述任意一项权利要求所述的组合物,其中一元伯胺的用量为颜料的5-30%(重量)。
9、前述任意一项权利要求所述的组合物,其中二元伯胺的用量为颜料的1-15%(重量)。
10、前述任意一项权利要求所述的组合物,其中无机化合物的用量为颜料的0.1-10%(重量)。
11、制备前述任意一项权利要求所述的组合物的方法,它包括在颜料合成之前、期间或之后将一元伯胺、二元伯胺和无机化合物加到颜料中。
12、权利要求11所述的方法,其中颜料合成是这样进行的:在二元伯胺的存在下,合成完毕后加入一元伯胺,随后加入无机化合物。
13、一种油墨,它含有权利要求1-10任意一项所述的颜料组合物作为着色剂。
