Abstract

1472781 Yellow pigment preparations KEMISK VAERK AS 14 Aug 1975 [14 Aug 1974] 35702/74 Heading C4A A yellow pigment preparation comprising an amine-preconditioned yellow pigment in admixture with a particulate white or near white inorganic filler may be prepared by forming a mixture comprising the pigment, the filler and a liquid medium, separating the mixture of pigment and filler from the liquid medium and washing and drying the separated mixture. The preparation may be dispersed in a printing ink vehicle to give a printing ink. In the examples preparations comprising pigments prepared from acetoacetylaminobenzene, a tetrazo solution prepared from 1,3<SP>1</SP> - dichloro - 4,4<SP>1</SP> - diaminodiphenyl 1 - acetoacetylamino - 2 - chlorobenzene and 1 - acetoacetylamino - 4 - methylbenzene, N - coco - alkyl - trimethylene diamine, N - coco - alkyl - dipropylene triamine, tallow fat - alkylmonoamine, N - coco - alkylpropylene diamine, chemically precipitated chalk, micronized talc and china clay are formed. The preparations are dispersed in a solution of calcium-zinc-resinate in toluene to give a printing ink.
