根据本发明实施例提供的一种终端的控制方法，所述方法包括：获取所述终端的运动数据和用户腕部的体征数据；根据所述终端的运动数据确定所述终端是否处于行车状态；当所述终端处于行车状态时，根据所述体征数据确定所述用户是否处于驾驶状态；当所述用户处于所述驾驶状态时，设置所述终端为驾驶模式。通过本申请提供的方案，能够准确地识别用户的驾驶状态，减少可穿戴设备的系统功耗，辅助用户提高驾驶安全性。
