Abstract

Technical Field

The invention relates to an accessory for a vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1, having at least one outer shielding plate made of plastic. The invention also relates to a vehicle with such an accessory according to claim 10.

Background

Accessories of this type, in particular doors, flaps, hoods, fenders, side wall parts and roof panels, are generally known in various embodiments by means of obvious prior use and generally have a dimensionally stable support structure and at least one outer shielding panel which covers the dimensionally stable support structure to the outside of the vehicle. A functional element, which is accessible or visible from the outside through a hole in the outer shielding plate or outer plate, can be fastened to a support structure, for example, having or consisting of an inner plate. In this regard, DE 10 2008 035 059 A1 describes a motor vehicle having a door with a movable marking as an actuating device. The marking is visible or accessible from the outside through a recess in the outer panel and is connected rotatably about an axis to a receptacle which is bolted to the inner panel of the vehicle door. There has long been a need in vehicle manufacture for such accessories to be constructed at least partially of plastic. In this respect, patent document DE 10 2010 042 939 A1 describes a vehicle flap having an integrated carrier made of thermoplastic, which carrier comprises mechanical reinforcing or stiffening elements. The functional element is integrally formed and/or incorporated into the carrier. The functional element is, for example, a light box, a recess for a logo or a recess for a license plate.

Disclosure of Invention

The object of the present invention is to provide an alternative attachment for a vehicle based on the prior art, which has at least one outer shielding made of plastic, which allows functional elements accessible from the outside of the vehicle to be fastened to the attachment in a simple and cost-effective manner. The invention also provides a vehicle having such an attachment.

An attachment for a vehicle, having at least one outer shielding plate, wherein the at least one outer shielding plate is made of plastic and has, in assembly, at least one first surface region oriented away from the vehicle and a second surface region oriented toward the vehicle, and at least one receiving region, in which a functional element is or can be arranged, is provided, wherein the attachment is based on the fact that the receiving region has an opening in the outer shielding plate, which opening, starting from the second surface region of the outer shielding plate or starting from the second surface region of the outer shielding plate, is bounded on the edge by a fastening web, which, in the mounted state of the attachment on the vehicle, points in the vehicle direction and is formed integrally with the outer shielding plate, on which the functional element is or can be fastened.

By fastening the functional element to the fastening tab, which is formed integrally with the outer shielding plate, the assembly is simplified and largely independent of possible tolerances between the inner part and the outer part or the outer shielding plate, such as are required according to the prior art (DE 10 2008 035 059 A1). A separate, for example glued, receiving ring for fixing the functional element to the outer shielding plate is not necessary.

The dependent claims describe preferred refinements or embodiments of the invention.

In order to ensure a stable and reliable joining connection between the functional element and the outer shielding plate, the fastening tab is preferably formed around the opening.

It is also preferably provided that the fastening tab has at its free end at least one fastening flange arranged or adapted (german) in the direction away from the opening. This provides a particularly dimensionally stable fastening tab.

It is further preferably provided that the fastening flange has at least one fastening eye for a fastening bolt of the functional element. The fixing flange therefore advantageously provides at least one fixing in the form of the fixing eye. In this case, the fastening eye is preferably adapted to a fastening bolt of the functional element, which fastening bolt extends through a bore of the fastening eye and is received by a nut, for example. In this case, the nut can be received in a form-fitting manner by the fastening eye, whereby the assembly is simplified.

According to an advantageous embodiment variant of the invention, the functional element is an actuating device having an actuating element for actuating the actuating device, in particular manually.

The operating element can have a logo and/or a vehicle logo, whereby the operating function is advantageously combined with the indicating and/or advertising function. The invention is not limited to the signs and/or emblems described above but also includes, for example, armrests and the like, not shown, alone and in combination with the signs and/or emblems described above.

The actuating element is preferably fixed or fixable to the outer shielding plate by means of the above-described actuating device, thereby saving material and installation costs, in particular.

It is further preferred that the actuating element is movably fastened to the actuating device and is operatively connected or operatively connectable to the closing device for the attachment, preferably by means of a force transmission means, in particular a mechanical force transmission means, such as a bowden cable and/or a pull rod. Alternatively, the actuating device can also have an immovable actuating element, for example in the form of a sensor element, which is connected, for example, electrically or wirelessly, in particular by radio, to the actuator of the closing device.

The accessory according to the invention is preferably formed by a door, a flap, a hood, a fender, a body side wall part or a vehicle roof.

The invention also relates to a vehicle having an accessory of the aforementioned type.

Detailed Description

Fig. 1 shows a vehicle 1, in the present case a motor vehicle, viewed toward its rear door. The rear door is usually a prefabricated accessory 2, which accessory 2 is fixed to the vehicle 1 in the final assembly of the vehicle 1. The tailgate generally has a dimensionally stable, not shown structural part made of metal and/or plastic and at least one outer shielding 3 fixedly connected to said structural part. The outer shielding 3 is made of plastic and, in the assembled state or in the mounted state with the vehicle 1, has a first surface area 4 which is oriented away from the vehicle 1 or on the outside and is therefore visible from the outside of the vehicle and a second surface area 5 which is oriented toward the vehicle 1 or on the inside (see fig. 3 to 6).

Furthermore, the outer shielding plate 3 has a receiving region for the functional element 6 according to the present exemplary embodiment, which receiving region comprises a hole 7 in the outer shielding plate 3. According to fig. 1 and 2, the hole 7 is arranged as centrally as possible in the accessory 2 or the rear door. According to fig. 3 and 4, the opening 7 is bounded on the edge by a fastening tab 8, the fastening tab 8 pointing in the direction of the vehicle 1 starting from the second surface region 5 of the outer shield 3 made of plastic and being constructed integrally with the outer shield 3 and therefore likewise made of plastic. The functional element 6 can be fastened to the fastening tab 8. According to the present exemplary embodiment, the fastening tab 8 is formed around the opening 7, thus providing a hollow-cylindrical and therefore very dimensionally stable receiving region for the functional element 6, which region extends in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle (X direction).

According to fig. 3 and 4, the fastening tab 8, which is designed in a circumferential manner here, has, at its free end facing the vehicle 1, a suitable fastening flange 9 which is directed radially away from the opening 7 or the hollow cylindrical receiving region. For example, three fastening eyes 10 are formed on the fastening flange 9, which are arranged uniformly distributed over the circumference of the fastening flange 9. The fastening eyes 10 each have a through-opening 11 for receiving a fastening bolt 12 of the functional element 6, which fastening bolt is shown in fig. 5 and 6.

With regard to the above-described functional element 6, according to the preferred embodiment shown in fig. 5 and 6, the functional element 6 is formed by an actuating device 6a having an actuating element 6b, on which actuating device 6a the actuating element 6b is mounted so as to be movable relative to the actuating device 6 a. The actuating element 6b comprises a emblem 13 (see in particular fig. 1, 2 and 5) which is directed towards the outside of the vehicle and is therefore visible from the outside of the vehicle. The actuating device 6a, which is preferably completely pre-assembled with the actuating element 6b and the emblem 13, is fixed or fixable to the fixing flange 9 of the fixing web 8 by means of the fixing bolt 12. According to fig. 3 and 5, the bores 11 of the fastening eyes 10 are each designed as a so-called internal hexagon for the form-fitting reception of a nut with an external hexagon, which is not shown.

As can be seen in particular from fig. 5 and 6, the actuating device 6a has a connecting element 14, for example a bowden cable and/or a tie rod, for a force transmission means, not shown, and the movable actuating element 6b is operatively connected or operatively connected by means of the tie rod or the connecting element 14 to a closing device, for example for an attachment 2, here in the form of a rear door. The invention is not limited to this preferred embodiment variant of the invention, but rather also comprises an actuating device 6a having an immovable actuating element 6b, which immovable actuating element 6b is in the form of a sensor element, for example, which is connected electrically or wirelessly, in particular by radio, to an actuator of the closing device (not shown). Furthermore, the invention is not limited to the tailgate, but encompasses any inventive or inventive accessory of the vehicle 1, in particular a flap, a door, a fender, a body side wall part or a roof of the vehicle 1.

Claims

1. An attachment (2) for a vehicle (1), having at least one outer shielding plate (3), wherein the at least one outer shielding plate (3) consists of plastic, having in an assembled configuration at least one first face region (4) oriented away from the vehicle (1) and a second face region (5) oriented toward the vehicle (1), and at least one receiving region in which a functional element (6) is arranged or can be arranged, characterized in that the receiving region has an opening (7) in the outer shielding plate (3), which opening (7) is bounded on the edge side, starting from the second face region (5) of the outer shielding plate (3), by a fixing web (8), wherein the fixing web (8) points in the direction of the vehicle (1) and is configured in one piece with the outer shielding plate (3) in the mounted state of the attachment (2) on the vehicle (1), the fixing web (8) has at least one adapted fixing flange (9) oriented away from the opening (7), on the free end of which the functional element (6) is fixed or can be fixed to the fixing flange (9).

2. The attachment (2) according to claim 1, wherein said fixing tab (8) is configured around said hole (7).

3. The attachment (2) according to claim 1, wherein the fixing flange (9) has at least one fixing eye (10) for a fixing bolt (12) of the functional element (6).

4. The attachment (2) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the functional element (6) is constructed from an operating device (6 a) having an operating element (6 b).

5. An attachment (2) according to claim 4, wherein the operating element (6 b) has a logo and/or emblem (13) and/or handle.

6. The attachment (2) according to claim 4, wherein the actuating element (6 b) is fixed or fixable to the outer shutter (3) by means of an actuating device (6 a).

7. An attachment (2) according to claim 4, wherein the operating element (6 b) is movably fixed to the operating device (6 a) and is operatively connected or connectable to a closing device for the attachment (2).

8. An attachment (2) according to claim 1, wherein said attachment (2) is constituted by a door, flap, hood, fender, body side wall or roof of the vehicle (1).

9. A vehicle (1) having an accessory (2) according to any one of claims 1 to 8.
