Abstract
一种提供有快速输入图像的各种有用标志的装置的电子照相机,包括从多种图像拾取和信号处理模式之一的中选择处理图象信号的图象信号处理电路、在主文件或标记文件区域记录处理后的图象信号的电路。还包括将数据或程序从图像拾取单元传送给RAM或在记录介质和RAM间传送的电路、存储控制和处理程序是内设还是外部程序的电路。采用外部程序时,程序从记录介质传给RAM,控制转至该程序,以实现各种作为标记(或图像)的处理。
Description
本发明涉及一种电子照相机。
一种现有技术的数字记录照相机的结构如图1所示。
在图1中,通过光学镜头1的图像由一个图像拾取装置所拾取,由电路3进行CDS或AGC处理,并由一前置放大器电路4所放大,然后,经过A/D转换电路5和处理电路5′并暂存于存储器6之中。在其被记录到记录介质8上时由一压缩电路7进行压缩。标号9表示一个存储器控制电路,而标号10则表示一个系统控制器。
美国专利No.5068744中描述了一种上述的现有技术。
这种结构的电子照相机用于“拍摄”图像是足够的,但作一种欲求得更进一步信息的设备便具有其局限性了。亦即,由于它没有关于“拍摄”的详细情况的伴随信息,而当时照片进行后续处理或编辑时,往往需要摄影者作出的记录或摘要,缺少这类记录这些信息,使得效率大大降低。
在这类现有技术的电子照相机中,由系统控制器处理的内容被固化在一个ROM中作为固件,而相机的目的记录信息是在工厂制造时所预定的,所以不能够满足各种各样的需要。
本发明的一个目的在于解决现有技术的电子照相机中所存在的这些问题。
本发明的另一目的在于除了“照片”以外还允许其他的信息伴生于图像文件之中,并且允许生成各种各样的信息,而不用将信息生成方法固化到固件上。
本发明的一个实施例,包括一个如图像文件区域的主文件区域,一个在记录图像的文件区域中提供的标志文件区域。它进一步包括用于选择和存储处理程序的装置,这种处理程序是用以产生在对应的这些区域中记录的信息的一种内设程序或一种外部程序,还包括用于当存储装置所存储的内容指示是外部程序时,传送来自记录介质的程序数据,并且将这种转移传送至该程序。
因此,由一个条码或由字符识别而导出的标题和名称所代表的商业管理信息之类的描述图像的信息,能够很容易地与目标图像相联接,使得该装置成为对以后检索或对图像的信息进行管理的很有用的输入装置。
本发明的其它目的和特征,通过下面结合附图对本发明的描述,将变得明显起来。

图2示出了第一个实施例,其中标号1表示一个光学系统,用于对要被拾取的物体光学图像进行聚焦;标号2代表一个光圈/快门,用于取得正确的曝光;标号3代表一个CCD,用于将所聚焦的光学图像转换成电信号;标号4代表一个预处理电路,用于校正和放大来自CCD的输出;标号5代表一个AD转换器,用于将视频信号转换成数字信号;标号6代表一个可写入电存储器;标号7代表一个只读存储器;标号8代表记录介质,用于将视频信号记录于其上;标号9代表一个直接存储器存取(DMA)控制器,用于传输数字数据;标号10代表一个用于控制该系统和处理图像信息的CPU;标号11代表一个可写入非易失存储器;标号12代表一个用于与外部交换信息的外部连接器;标号13表示一个显示器,用以向使用者显示照相机的工作状态;标号14表示一个控制单元,用于输入使用者的指令。
当使用本发明的照相机时,使用者首先设定它的工作状态。
在设定的过程中,外部连接器12通过一根电缆线与一个个人计算机(后面将称作PC)相连接,设定是通过使用在该PC中的一种设定程序而进行的。
图3示出了在PC上设定程序的流程图。
通过使用该程序,可以从模式1开始顺序地设定本发明照相机的工作模式(S1)。
设定在该模式(S5)中处理的结果是一个主文件(图象文件)还是一个标记文件(S6)。
设定用于实现该工作模式的程序是照相机中内设的还是一外部程序(S7);如果它是内设的(S7′),那么设定它是一种自然图像的记录还是一种条码记录(S8);如果是条码记录,则确定该条码的类型,例如是JAN码、码39还是NW-7(S9)。设定自然图像是否也要被记录(S10);如果在步骤S8中是自然图像记录,则设定每一象素的记录比特数(S11)。设定记录象素数(S12)、γ压缩特性曲线(S13)、是彩色图像还是单色图像(S14);如果是彩色图像,则设定用于记录的彩色空间(Y∶C1∶C2=4∶2∶2或4∶1∶1或RGB)(S15)。然后,在步骤S16中,设定它是否要被压缩;当是要被压缩的时候,在步骤S17设定一个压缩因子,然后程序返回(S18)。
在S7中,如果它是外部程序,则如图5所示地设置该外部程序的名称(S19);如果该外部程序要求一个设定选择,则设定该外部程序选择(S20)。然后,在S21中,该外部程序的设定选择被记录到记录介质上,处理过程在S22返回。
在工作模式1的例程 设置已完成之后,完成工作模式2、3的设置(S2,S3)。
在工作模式1、2、3的设备完成之后,在PC上设定的该程序通过电缆与本发明的照相机相通信,将该设定信息写入照相机中的EEPROM之中。然后,操作终止。
此后,使用者便可操纵本发明的照相机的控制按钮,来指令照相机的工作模式了。
图6示出这种照相机的操纵按钮和LCD显示面板。图7A、图7B和图8示出了照相机释放操作的流程图。
每次使用者压下模式键时,指示工作模式的字段“1”、“2”、“3”、“4”便顺序地显示在LCD面板上。使用者压按该模式健直至所需的工作模式号数出现为止,从而选择出该工作模式。
当使用者在设定了工作模式之后压按释放键(S401)时,照相机读出前次在EEPROM中设定的工作模式的设定信息(S402),并根据该设定信息进行处理。
如果在S403中是内设程序且在S404中是自然图像记录,那么将执行在ROM中内设的程序并且从CCD中读出的信号根据后续设定内容(记录象素数、记录比特数、压缩还是非压缩、以及压缩系数)而得到处理(S405-S414)。
在S405中,向CCD做出曝光;在S406中,图像信号从CCD中读出并被传送给RAM。然后,在S407中,产生亮度信号,而在S408中,判断其是一彩色图像还是一单色图像。如果它是一个彩色图像,则产生一色度信号,过程前进至S310。如果在S408中它是一单色图像,过程直接前进至S410。在S410中,按照记录象素的预定数进行再采样;在步骤S411,将彩色转换成预定的彩色空间;在S412,将信号压缩至预定比特长度。如果在S413中判定有压缩存在,则在S414完成压缩,过程前进到S415。如果在S413判定出压缩不存在,那么过程直接前进至S415。
如果在S404中是一种条码记录模式,那么根据ROM上的内设程序码对从CCD读出的信号进行处理,以便进行条码识别(S419-S422)。
在S419中,向CCD做出曝光;在S420中,图像信号从CCD中读出并被传送给RAM。在S421中完成条码识别;而在S422中,则判定该条码是否将作为视频信号而被记录;如果是,过程走到S407,如果为否,过程直接进到S415。
因为已经提出过和已知有各种记录自然图像和识别条码的方法,所以在此省略了对其的详细讨论。
如果在S403中为外部模式,则从EEPROM读出该外部程序的文件名(S423),有该文件名的程序被从记录介质中读出,并被传送给DRAM(S424),调出该程序入口地址的子例程,以将控制转移至该程序。
要被执行的外部程序设定文件还根据需要从记录介质上读出。当外部程序的执行完成之后,执行子例程的返回指令,以便将控制返回到照相机。
最后,当判定出它是主文件时(S415),照相机将通过图像拾取而处理后的信息如实地记录到记录介质上,并将文件名写入EEP-ROM之中(S416、S417和S426)。
在S416中,自动地产生文件号或文件名;在S414中,图像数据被写入该文件之中。在S426,文件号或文件名被写入EEPROM之中。
如果设定为标记文件,则将其记录在步骤S426中所记录的主文件的标记区域中(S418)。
图9示出了外部程序的流程图。
它是一字符识别程序。
首先,从记录介质中读出一个预置的预定文件(S501)。该设定文件包括由PC机上的设定程序所预置的信息。在S502获得一种要被作字符识别的语言的设定信息(S502),并且从记录介质中读出一个在该种语言中所用的字体根的文件。
然后,进行曝光,并将图像信号从CCD中传送给RAM(S504),对字符进行概括和字型匹配(S505),对它们进行识别并将其转换成,例如,ASCII码。
紧接的前一记录文件的文件名从EEPROM中(它是在S426中被写入的)读出,而所识别的字符码则被附加地记录在该文件的标记区域中。
根据本发明的实施例,为图像拾取之后的图像文件的检索和管理提供了便利。
Claims (7)
1.一种电子照相机,包括:
a)图像拾取装置;
b)信号处理装置,用于从多种不同方式中选择其一处理所述图像拾取装置的输出;
c)输入装置,用于输入电子照相机外部的控制信号;以及
d)控制装置,用于根据通过所述输入装置输入的控制信号,选择所述信号处理装置中的信号处理方式。
2.根据权利要求1的电子照相机,其中所述信号处理装置包括一个第一模式和一个第二模式,所述第一模式用于输出所述图像拾取装置的输出作为一个图像信号,而所述第二模式用于将该输出编码成一种图形信号。
3.根据权利要求1的电子照相机,进一步包括:用于根据图像信号处理装置的选择处理在一个主文件区域或在一个标记文件区域中记录处理后的图像信号的装置。
4.根据权利要求1的电子照相机,进一步包括:信号处理装置,用于有选择地在一种第一模式和一种第二模式之间进行转换,其中所述第一模式用于存储所述图像拾取装置的输出作为图像信息,而所述第二模式用于存储该输出作为编码图像信息。
5.根据权利要求4的电子照相机,其中所述信号处理装置包括图形识别装置,用以在所述第二模式中识别图形。
6.根据权利要求4的电子照相机,进一步包括通信装置,用于与电子照相机外部的外设相通信。
7.根据权利要求6的电子照相机,其中所述信号处理装置通过所述通信装置而由所述外部的外设所控制。
