引言
车辆照明组件被配置为执行一个或多个指定的照明功能。例如,除了远光和近光大灯功能外,典型的大灯组件还装有日间行车灯和转向信号功能。通常要求外部车辆照明符合某些可见性标准,例如,在照明组件的特定水平角度和垂直角度范围内,行人必须能够看到前转向信号灯。因此,车辆大灯组件的结构设计可能性受到限制。
发明内容
本文公开了一种用于车身的照明组件。还公开了一种包括车身和照明组件的车辆。照明组件可包括细长的光传输光学系统,例如具有内部光导光学处方的矩形丙烯酸管。光传输光学系统被配置为引导来自位于车辆/照明组件的外侧位置的光源的入射光,其中这种反射朝向内侧位置发生。由于结合了光传输光学系统,例如但不限于前大灯组件,其中引导的光对应于来自车辆转向信号功能的光,因此可以实现照明组件的更积极的前扫或前裹配置。

由光传输光学系统32导向的光最终被引导通过外透镜22的基本平坦/平面的远端表面29,远端表面29以如下方式配置,发射光(图2的箭头L)对于位于前端18附近并且相对于其侧面定位的人类观察者来说容易看到。举例来说,在参考位置的校准角度范围内(例如,与车辆10的前端18相交的垂直平面的±45°),前转向信号功能可见,如从相对于车辆10的前端18的侧面位置(即,靠近前端18的侧视角)可见。在从相同观察位置与照明组件20相交的水平面的±15°内(即,当在前端18的侧面附近观察车辆10时的上/下视角)可能需要可见性。可见性标准的范围/值可以因国家而异,因此可以在本公开的范围内对这里描述的配置进行修改以满足这些标准。
在说明性场景中,当车辆10准备执行右转弯时,行人可以定位在与转弯方向相反的人行道上,即,在车辆10的操作员的左手边。行人必须能够在上述角度范围内观察转向信号。由于行人的位置在车辆10的相对的一侧,同时灯具30用于照明组件20及其外透镜22的积极地前扫/前裹的变化,如图1中箭头A所示的前扫方向,因而在规定的角度范围内,行人可能无法完全看到转向信号照明。然而,使用光传输光学系统32引导一些转向信号照明到达并穿过暴露的远端表面29使得这种造型成为可能。
图2描绘了图1的照明组件20,其带有额外的内部细节。可以按序列单独控制光源30A-D以提供预定的闪光速率。因此,尽管为了清晰起见图中进行省略,但是车辆10可以包括电子控制单元,其接收信令请求,例如,响应于操作者控制或自主控制的激活,并且响应于信令请求,操作开关或其他硬件,用于将各个光源30A-D连接到电池或其他电源。光源30A-D可以实施为发光二极管(LED),例如,如图所示并排排列成行的四个LED。当光源30A、30B、30C和/或30D通过相应的切换功能单独激活时,发射的光被馈送到光传输光学系统32中并且沿着光传输光学系统32的长度被引导/导向朝向内侧端28,如箭头LL所示。
光传输光学系统32可以体现为丙烯酸或其他合适材料的连续矩形或圆形管,其内表面37(参见图4)与专用光学处方一体地形成或处理,例如,足以沿光传输光学系统32的整个长度反射、导向或以其他方式引导光的纹理透镜图案或表面涂层。引导光(箭头LL)最终在内侧端28处离开光传输光学系统32,发射光在图2中以箭头L表示。
在另一个说明性实施例中,每个光源30A-D可以具有相应的回射反射器33B或侧射反射器33S,即,抛光的抛物面反射器可以沿基本上平行于图1所示的车辆10的纵向轴线11(回射)的方向定向或者相对于轴线11(侧射)成角度。在一个示例性实施例中,最外侧光源,即光源30A,可以包括相应的侧射反射器33S,而三个内侧光源30B-D可以包括回射反射器33B。
如图3中最佳所示,照明组件20被配置成使得在外透镜22的外表面220和远端处的装饰面板件24之间提供预定的间隔距离(D),距离(D)足够大以使远端表面29具有必要的表面区域,并且因此,每个专用的照明标准具有最佳的侧面可视性。例如,在一些实施例中,内侧端28处的距离(D)可以是至少5厘米,其他可能的距离(D)足以确保外透镜22从壳体25突出/不与在内侧端28处的壳体25或者装饰面板件24齐平。
图3中还示出了光传输光学系统32的远端33。图3的透视图是在上述场景中观察者可见的轮廓,即,照明组件20是左前/驾驶员侧大灯,并且观察者位于车辆10的左前/乘客侧的一侧。在这种情况下,远端表面29暴露于观察者而不是朝向车身12逐渐变细。远端表面29和光传输光学系统32的远端可包括表面光学器件35。表面光学器件35提供另一光学处方,并且可以是由光传输光学系统32和/或外透镜22限定的预定表面图案的形式,其中表面图案将光导向上述观察者。
图4从侧视图的角度描绘了图1-3的照明组件20,即从图1的车辆10的左前/驾驶员侧拐角的角度看。如上所述,光传输光学系统32可以体现为细长管,其可以具有矩形横截面或其他合适的几何形状。光传输光学系统32具有内表面37,其提供合适的光学处方,例如表面光栅、透镜特征或另一种光分布图案。从光传输光学系统32的远端表面39延伸的表面法向矢量V1可以设置在外透镜22的远端表面29的表面法向矢量V2的30-60度之间的范围内。或者相对于沿着车辆10的纵向轴线的水平面P1,远端表面39的平面P2可以正交地布置/90°(θB),并且远端表面29的平面P3可以布置在与水平面成45°(θA)的角度。可以在本公开的范围内使用其他相对布置,以在暴露的远端表面29处提供期望的照明效果。
图5A-C描绘了用于图1-4的所公开的照明组件20的三个可能的示例性照明序列,或者更准确地说,用于照明光源30A-D和与其连接的光传输光学系统32。在图5A中,细长光传输光学系统32仅连接到光源之一,例如光源30A。因此,仅在光源30A通电时,光可以在该实施例中被引导通过光传输光学系统32。例如,当在图1的车辆10上执行左转信号操纵时,光序列可以是如图5A中编号1、2、3、4,即,在那个特定的序列中的光源30D、30C、30B和30A的照明。一旦光源30A被照射,如上所述,光沿着光传输光学系统32的长度被引导并通过光传输光学系统32。
在图5B和图5C中,光传输光学系统32连接到所有光源30A-D,因此一旦启动相同的转向信号操纵,光就经由光传输光学系统32被引导到远端表面29。也就是说,无论有多少光源30A-30D通电,光沿着光传输光学系统32被引导到远端表面29,从而照射图3的远端表面29。图5B提供了当没有光源30A-D通电时经由单独的光源130(例如,另一个LED、白炽灯或卤素灯泡)照射光传输光学系统32的附加选项。
使用上述照明组件20,可以光学地分配补充照明以提高可见性,从而实现更积极的前扫造型。这种造型还可以改善照明组件的空气动力学性能。在现有闪光速率要求内控制光激活序列的能力,加上启用的前扫造型,还允许具有更动态的环裹或前扫外观的转向信号。鉴于前述公开内容,本领域普通技术人员将理解这些和其他可能的优点。
详细描述和附图或图是本公开的支持和描述,但是本公开的范围仅由权利要求限定。虽然已经详细描述了用于执行所要求保护的教导的一些最佳模式和其他实施例,但是存在用于实践所附权利要求中限定的本公开的各种替代设计和实施例。

Claims (10)

1.一种与车身一起使用的照明组件,具有相对于所述车身的外侧和内侧端,并包括:
壳体,其能够连接到所述车身;
灯具,其靠近所述外侧端定位并具有多个光源;
细长光传输光学系统,其连接到所述灯具,具有靠近所述内侧端的远端,并且被配置为将来自一个或多个所述光源的光从所述照明组件的所述外侧端引导到所述照明组件的所述内侧端,使得一些所述引导的光通过所述光传输光学系统的所述远端发射;以及
外透镜,其连接到所述壳体,使得所述灯具和所述光传输光学系统由所述连接的壳体和所述外透镜封装。
2.根据权利要求1所述的照明组件,其中,所述光传输光学系统的所述远端邻近所述外透镜的远端表面定位,并且包括表面光学处方,所述表面光学处方配置为将所述引导的光分布在光引导元件的长度上,并穿过所述外透镜的所述远端表面。
3.根据权利要求2所述的照明组件,其中,所述表面光学处方由所述光传输光学系统限定。
4.根据权利要求2所述的照明组件,其中,所述光传输光学系统的所述远端的表面法向矢量设置在所述外透镜的所述远端的表面法向矢量的30-60度的范围内。
5.根据权利要求1所述的照明组件,其中,所述多个光源包括多个发光二极管。
6.根据权利要求5所述的照明组件,其中,所述多个发光二极管包括一排四个发光二极管。
7.根据权利要求1所述的照明组件,其中,所述外透镜的外表面与所述壳体之间的距离在所述内侧端处为至少5厘米,使得所述外透镜在所述内侧端处不与所述车身齐平。
8.根据权利要求1所述的照明组件,其中,所述光传输光学系统仅连接到所述多个光源中的一个相应光源。
9.根据权利要求1所述的照明组件,其中,所述光传输光学系统连接到所述多个光源的所有相应光源。
10.根据权利要求1所述的照明组件,其中,所述光传输光学系统是由丙烯酸材料构成的管,并且具有利用光学分散图案处理的内表面,所述光学分散图案足以沿着所述光传输光学系统的轴线引导所述光。
