Abstract
[ problem ] to provide an antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic comprising an alcohol/oil-in-water emulsion composition which has good emulsion stability, is free from stickiness upon application, and has good refreshing and dry touch. [ solving means ] the present invention relates to an antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic comprising an alcohol/oil-in-water type emulsion composition containing: (a) an oil component containing a high-polymer silicone at 1 mass% or less, (b) an emulsifier containing one or two or more polyether-modified silicones, (c) a lower alcohol at 50 mass% or more, and (d) water.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a powder-free antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic that does not require shaking prior to use. More specifically, the present invention relates to a cosmetic composition which contains an alcohol/oil-in-water emulsion composition obtained by emulsifying an oil component containing a high-polymerized silicone with a specific polyether-modified silicone and which exhibits excellent antiperspirant and deodorant effects even without containing a powder component.
Background
As a cosmetic for reducing stickiness on the skin due to sweat and a feeling of discomfort due to the stickiness, an antiperspirant deodorant is used. In addition to the desire of users for antiperspirant cosmetics to incorporate antiperspirant ingredients to exhibit antiperspirant-inhibiting and astringent effects, there is a strong demand for providing cool and refreshing feeling, and a dry and refreshing feeling after application to the skin.
As conventional antiperspirant cosmetics, products containing a powder component for the purpose of suppressing stickiness and providing a dry feeling are widely commercially available. However, the antiperspirant containing the powder is still in a container, so that the powder is more sufficiently redispersed by shaking during use. If this redispersion is insufficient, not only a good feeling of use due to the powder component cannot be obtained, but also clogging occurs in an antiperspirant of a spray type or a spray type in which the spray is atomized. In addition, there is a concern that the powder component may whiten the skin after application.
Patent document 1 discloses an antiperspirant composition containing an antiperspirant component (powder component), at least one of a crosslinked methylpolysiloxane and a crosslinked methylphenylpolysiloxane compound, a crosslinked polyether-modified silicone, and a lower alcohol, wherein the dispersibility of the powder is improved to prevent crystallization of the powder component and improve the feeling (appearance) after drying. However, since the powder component is still contained, the powder must be redispersed by shaking before use, and in addition, although the appearance is improved, the skin after application tends to be whitened.
Therefore, there is a strong demand for a powder-free antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic which is free from stickiness upon application and can give a sufficient refreshing feeling and dryness.
On the other hand, in the field of hair cosmetics, an oil-in-alcohol type emulsion composition is known which stably emulsifies an oil component containing a hair treatment ingredient such as a high-polymerized silicone in an alcohol by blending a polyether-modified silicone as an emulsifier, and is used for a hair conditioner, a hair setting agent, and the like (patent document 2). However, there is no known example of using the oil-in-alcohol type emulsion composition in an antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic.

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
The present invention addresses the problem of obtaining a powder-free cosmetic that, even when no powder component (antiperspirant) is incorporated, has a refreshing feel during use and a dry feel after application, which are required for antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetics.
Means for solving the problems
The present inventors have made extensive studies to solve the above problems and as a result, have found that a dry touch can be imparted to the skin when the skin is coated with the emulsion composition by setting the amount of the high polymerized silicone to 1% by mass or less in the alcohol-in-oil type emulsion composition conventionally used for a hair conditioner or a hair setting agent, even if conventional antiperspirant ingredients are not blended, and have completed the present invention.
That is, the present invention provides an antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic comprising an alcohol/oil-in-water type emulsion composition containing: (a) an oil component containing a high-polymer silicone at 1 mass% or less, (b) an emulsifier containing a polyether-modified silicone having a specific structure, (c) a lower alcohol at 50 mass% or more, and (d) water.
ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION
Since the powder component is not substantially blended in the present invention, it is not necessary to redisperse the powder component by shaking before use, and whitening of the skin after application does not occur. Further, by forming the above-mentioned constitution, a refreshing feeling and a cool feeling can be obtained without stickiness when applied to the skin, and without stickiness when applied and after drying. Further, by blending a polyether-modified silicone having a specific structure as an emulsifier, an oil component can be stably emulsified in an alcohol, and therefore, the stability with time is also excellent, and the spray container is not clogged by the precipitation of the blended components.
Detailed Description
Next, each component constituting the cosmetic of the present invention will be described in detail.
< (a) oil composition comprising highly polymerized silicone
The oil component (a) containing a high-polymerized silicone used in the present invention (hereinafter, may be simply referred to as "component (a)") is an oil component containing one or more kinds (also referred to as silicone gum) selected from a high-polymerized silicone and an amino-modified or ammonium-modified high-polymerized silicone in a gel form (for example, having a viscosity of about 1,000,000mPa · s or more at 30 ℃).
Examples of the highly polymerized silicone of the present invention include a highly polymerized polysiloxane represented by the following general formula (I) and a highly polymerized dimethiconol.
In the formula, R1Represents a methyl group or a phenyl group (wherein, R1Not all phenyl groups), R2Represents a methyl group or a hydroxyl group. In addition, n represents an integer of 3000 to 20000.
Examples of the amino-modified or ammonium-modified high-polymerized silicone of the present invention (which may be simply referred to as "amino-modified silicone") include those represented by the following general formula (II).
In the formula, R1Represents methyl or a part of phenyl, R2And R3Identical or represents methyl or hydroxy. R3Is represented by the formula R4Z{R4Represents an alkylene group having a valence of 2 having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, Z represents a group selected from the group consisting of-NR5 2、-N+R5 3A-、-NR5(CH2)aNR5 2、-NR5(CH2)aN+R5 3A-and-NR5(CH2)aN(R5)C=O(R6)(R5Represents hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R6Represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, A represents Cl, Br or I, and a is an integer of 2 to 6. ) 1-valent group in the group. And (c) a substituent having an amino group or an ammonium group, wherein m and n are positive integers, respectively, m + n represents an integer of 3000 to 20000, and n/m is 1/500 to 1/10000.
Among them, aminopropylmethylsiloxane dimethylsiloxane copolymer (aminopropylpolydimethylsiloxane) is preferable.
The amount of the highly polymerized silicone (silicone gum) to be blended in the cosmetic of the present invention is required to be 1.0 mass% or less in terms of the actual content based on the total amount of the cosmetic. When the amount exceeds 1.0% by mass, stickiness occurs during coating and a refreshing feeling after drying cannot be obtained. The lower limit of the amount of the high-polymerized silicone is not particularly limited, and is usually 0.01 mass% or more, preferably 0.05 mass% or more, and more preferably 0.1 mass% or more, relative to the total amount of the cosmetic. That is, the amount of the highly polymerized silicone (silicone gum) is 1.0 mass% or less, preferably 0.01 to 1.0 mass%, more preferably 0.05 to 1.0 mass%, most preferably 0.1 to 1.0 mass%, based on the actual content of the total amount of the cosmetic.
As the component (a) of the present invention, a commercially available product containing the above-described highly polymerized silicone and an oil component can be used.
Examples of commercially available products containing the highly polymerized silicone represented by the general formula (I) and an oil component include: dimethicone blends from shin-Etsu chemical Co., Ltd are, for example, KF-9008 (a mixture of 20% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 80% cyclopentadimethylsiloxane), KF-9011 (a mixture of 10% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 90% cyclopentadimethylsiloxane), KF-9013 (a mixture of 15% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 85% low-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane), KF-9014 (a mixture of 15% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 85% cyclopentadimethylsiloxane), MK-15H (a mixture of 20% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 80% low-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane), X-21-5495 (a mixture of 15% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 85% cyclopentadimethylsiloxane), KF-9028 (a mixture of 20% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 80% cyclopentadimethylsiloxane), KF-9030 (a mixture of high polymer polydimethylsiloxane 20% and low viscosity polydimethylsiloxane 80%); examples of the high-polymerized dimethiconol include X-21-5613 (a mixture of 20% high-polymerized dimethiconol and 80% low-viscosity dimethiconol), X-21-5666 (a mixture of 30% high-polymerized dimethiconol and 70% cyclopentadimethylsiloxane), X-21-5847 (high-polymerized dimethiconol), and X-21-5849 (high-polymerized dimethiconol); examples of the high-polymer dimethylsilicone manufactured BY Dow Corning Toray include BY11-007 (a mixture of 10% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 90% polydimethylsiloxane), BY11-014 (a mixture of 15% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 85% polydimethylsiloxane), BY11-026 (a mixture of 30% high-polymer polydimethylsiloxane and 70% polydimethylsiloxane), and the like.
Examples of commercially available products containing the amino-modified high-polymer silicone represented by the general formula (II) and an oil component include: as examples of a high-polymer amino oil blend (amino gum) manufactured by shin-Etsu chemical Co., Ltd., KF-8017 (a mixture of 10% aminopropyl polydimethylsiloxane and 90% polydimethylsiloxane), KF-8018 (a mixture of 10% aminopropyl polydimethylsiloxane and 90% cyclopentadimethylsiloxane), KF-8020 (a mixture of 20% aminopropyl polydimethylsiloxane and 80% polydimethylsiloxane), and the like can be given.
The oil other than the highly polymerized silicone in the component (a) of the present invention is selected from various oils contained in the aforementioned commercially available products, and oils that can be generally used in skin cosmetics including antiperspirant and deodorant cosmetics. Examples thereof include hydrocarbon oils such as liquid paraffin and squalane, ester oils, vegetable oils such as avocado oil, palm oil and jojoba oil, and silicone oils.
The amount of component (a) in the cosmetic of the present invention is not particularly limited, and is usually 0.1 to 30% by mass, preferably 0.5 to 25% by mass, and more preferably 0.5 to 20% by mass, based on the total amount of the cosmetic. (a) When the amount of the component (b) exceeds 30% by mass, the stability of the emulsion may be lowered.
< (b) polyether-modified silicone
The present invention is characterized by blending (b) one or two or more emulsifiers (hereinafter, may be abbreviated as "component (b)") containing a polyether-modified silicone having a specific structure.
The polyether-modified silicone (component (b)) used in the present invention is one or two or more selected from polyether-modified silicones represented by the following general formula (III).
Wherein R represents a methyl group or a phenyl group. A is a general formula: -C3H6O(C2H4O)a(C3H6O)bR '(wherein R' is a group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an acyl group and an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and a is an integer of 5 to 50 and b is an integer of 5 to 50) is a polyoxyalkylene group. Specific examples of the acyl group for R' include formyl, acetyl, propionyl, butyryl, acryloyl, benzoyl, toluyl and the like, and specific examples of the alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms include methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, n-propyl, tert-butyl, n-butyl and the like.
In the polyoxyalkylene group, when a or b is less than 5, the polyether-modified silicone does not exhibit a sufficient surface active effect, and when a or b exceeds 50, the resulting composition has a sticky feeling.
The content of the polyoxyalkylene group in the molecule is not particularly limited, and the content of the polyoxyalkylene group is desirably more than 20% by mass in the total molecular weight. This is because when the content of the polyoxyalkylene group is 20 mass% or less of the total molecular weight, the thickening effect of the polyether-modified silicone is remarkably reduced.
In addition, m is an integer of 50 to 1000, and n is an integer of 1 to 40. This is because when m is less than 50 and n is less than 1, emulsion stability is poor, and when m exceeds 1000 and n exceeds 40, the obtained composition gives a sticky feeling. Further, m: n is preferably 200: 1-5: 1. particularly preferably 60: 1-15: 1.
the molecular weight and viscosity of the polyether-modified silicone used in the present invention are not particularly limited, and it is desirable that the viscosity at 25 ℃ when the polyether-modified silicone is formed into a 50 mass% solution of octamethyltetrasiloxane or isoparaffin is in the range of 1000 to 100000mPa · s, particularly from the viewpoint of forming a stable emulsion and giving a dry feeling.
As the polyether-modified silicone used in the present invention, commercially available products can be used. Examples of commercially available products include BY11-030 (containing 50 mass% of PEG/PPG-19/19 polydimethylsiloxane and 50 mass% of cyclopentadimethylsiloxane), which is manufactured BY Dow Corning Toray Silicone, PEG/PPG-19/19 polydimethylsiloxane refers to a polyether-modified Silicone having a molecular weight of 55000 in the above general formula, where m is 400, n is 10, a is 19, and b is 19, hlb (si) is 7), BY25-337 (containing 50 mass% of PEG/PPG-19/19 polydimethylsiloxane and 50 mass% of light liquid isoparaffin (hydrogenated polyisobutene)), and the like.
The amount of polyether-modified silicone used in the present invention is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.1 to 5.0 mass%, preferably 0.3 to 4.0 mass%, more preferably 0.4 to 3.0 mass%, and most preferably 0.5 to 2.5 mass% in terms of the actual content relative to the total amount of the cosmetic. When the amount of polyether-modified silicone blended in the composition of the present invention is less than 0.1% by mass in terms of the actual content, stable emulsification is difficult, and when it exceeds 5.0% by mass, the composition may have a sticky feeling.
< (c) lower alcohol
The lower alcohol (c) (hereinafter, sometimes simply referred to as "component (c)") used in the present invention generally refers to an alcohol having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, preferably 1 to 4 carbon atoms, which is useful in the fields of medicines, cosmetics, and the like, and specifically, methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol, pentanol, hexanol, and the like are mentioned, and among them, ethanol is particularly preferably used.
It is desirable to use isopropanol, n-propanol, tert-butanol, sec-butanol, and the like in combination with ethanol because they are difficult to emulsify due to their high hydrophobicity.
The amount of the lower alcohol (component (c)) used in the present invention is 50% by mass or more, preferably 60% by mass or more, based on the total amount of the cosmetic. The amount of the lower alcohol to be blended is preferably 3 times or more (mass ratio) the amount of water to be blended in the composition. When the amount of the lower alcohol is less than 3 times, it is difficult to sufficiently obtain a refreshing feeling and a dry feeling after coating.
Water (d)
The amount of water (d) (hereinafter, also simply referred to as "component (d)") to be blended in the present invention is preferably 15% by mass or less, more preferably 12% by mass or less, based on the total amount of the cosmetic. When the amount of water is more than 15% by mass, stickiness occurs during application, and a dry touch cannot be obtained.
The antiperspirant cosmetic composition of the present invention is a highly stable alcohol/oil-in-water emulsion composition obtained by blending the components (a) to (d) as described above, and can provide a refreshing feeling and a dry feeling when used without blending a conventional antiperspirant component (powder component). This effect is a surprising effect that could not be predicted from the prior art, but this fact does not exclude the cosmetic composition of the present invention from being further blended with an antiperspirant component, an antibacterial agent, and a deodorant component, which are blended with conventional antiperspirant cosmetic compositions. However, the amount of the compound is not limited to a range in which the effects of the present invention are not impaired.
Examples of the antiperspirant component that can be blended include astringent antiperspirants such as zinc p-phenolsulfonate (zinc benzenesulfonate), citric acid, and various aluminum compounds; antibacterial agents such as triclosan, benzalkonium chloride, benzethonium chloride, chlorhexidine hydrochloride, chlorhexidine gluconate, halocarban, etc.; deodorizing agents such as zinc oxide, flavonoids and chlorophyll; cold feeling agents such as menthol and menthyl lactate; various masking agents, and the like.
In the antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic of the present invention, other components which can be usually blended in the cosmetic, for example, a moisturizer, a preservative, a fragrance, a chelating agent, an antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber, a gelling agent, a thickener, and the like can be blended in addition to the above-mentioned antiperspirant component within a range not to impair the effects of the present invention.
The form of the antiperspirant or deodorant cosmetic product of the present invention is not particularly limited, and may be provided in the form of, for example, an antiperspirant, a body lotion, a cosmetic water, a cosmetic liquid, or the like. The cosmetic of the present invention can be provided without mixing powdery antiperspirant, and is therefore particularly suitable for use in a form for spraying contained in a spray container such as a dispenser or for spraying contained together with a propellant, and does not cause clogging of a nozzle.
Examples
The present invention will be described more specifically with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples. Unless otherwise specified, the amount of the component (b) is expressed as% by mass relative to the total amount.
The antiperspirant/deodorant cosmetic of the present invention was prepared and evaluated for the feeling of use.
Examples 1 to 16 and comparative examples 1 to 3
The cosmetics shown in examples 1 to 16 and comparative examples 1 to 3 were prepared by uniformly dissolving and stirring the components other than the ion-exchange water and the benzalkonium chloride solution among the components shown in tables 1 to 3 below to emulsify the components, and then adding the ion-exchange water and the benzalkonium chloride solution.
Comparative examples 4 to 6
The cosmetics shown in comparative examples 4 to 6 were prepared by mixing a lower alcohol-containing aqueous phase component and a powder component, and then emulsifying the oil phase component in which the surfactant was dissolved by stirring treatment.
The cosmetic samples prepared by the above-described method were applied to 10 panelists, and the presence or absence of stickiness after application, a cool feeling during application, a cool feeling after application and drying, and a dry feeling were judged based on the following evaluation scores and evaluation criteria.
+3 points: very good.
+2 points: good results are obtained.
+1 minute: slightly better.
0 minute: and (4) common.
-1 point: slightly worse.
-2 points: and (4) poor.
-3 points: very poor.
The evaluation was performed based on the average score of the evaluation scores according to the following evaluation criteria.
A: the average score is more than + 2.
B: the average score is more than +1 and less than + 2.
C: the average score is 0 to less than + 1.
D: the average score is-1 or more and less than 0.
E: the average score is more than-2 and less than-1.
F: the average score was less than-2.
[ Table 1]
[ Table 2]
[ Table 3]
As is clear from the results in tables 1 and 2, the antiperspirant cosmetic of the present invention does not contain a powder component which is usually blended in an antiperspirant for providing a cool and dry feeling, and does not have stickiness when applied, and can provide a cool and dry feeling even after drying.
On the other hand, as shown in the results of table 3, when the high-polymerized silicone is blended in an amount exceeding 1 mass% based on the actual content of the silicone gum (comparative examples 1 and 2), stickiness occurs at the time of coating, and a sufficient refreshing feeling cannot be obtained. When the amount of the lower alcohol is less than 50% by mass (comparative example 3), stickiness occurs during coating, and a sufficient dry feeling cannot be obtained.
In addition, as shown in tables 1 and 2, in the present invention, a cool feeling and a dry feeling were obtained due to the components (a) and (b). When powder components conventionally blended for obtaining a cool feeling and a dry feeling are blended in place of the components (a) and (b) of the present invention (comparative examples 4 to 6), a good feeling of use as an antiperspirant cannot be obtained even if the ethanol content is increased from 50% by mass to 80% by mass. In addition, even when an antiperspirant component (aluminum chlorohydroxide) was combined with the powder component (comparative example 6), stickiness was generated during application, and a dry touch could not be obtained.
Next, the emulsion of the present invention was prepared, and the stability over time in an environment with different temperatures was evaluated.
Specifically, emulsions having the compositions listed in table 4 below were prepared in the same manner as in the above examples, and each of the prepared emulsions was left at 0 ℃, room temperature, and 50 ℃ for 4 weeks and then evaluated for stability by visual observation based on the following criteria. The results are shown in Table 4.
< evaluation Standard >
A: there was no change.
B: slightly creaming occurred.
C: significant creaming occurred.
D: and (5) separating.
[ Table 4]
As shown by the results in table 4, all emulsions had good emulsion stability.
