一种三价铬电镀废液的处理方法,属于废液处理领域,处理过程主要包括:低电流密度长时间电解去除三价铬电镀废液中的金属离子杂质;高电流密度电解去除电镀废液中的有机物杂质;氢氧化钠调节废液pH值后添加活性物质和支持电解质;溶液进行充分搅拌、过滤,处理后的电镀废液用作铁铬液流电池电解液,在200mA/cm2电流密度下进行充放电,能量效率可达75%。本发明提供的三价铬电镀废液处理方法,操作简单,有效降低了电镀废液的处理成本。以电镀废液重生作为铁铬液流电池的电解液,大大降低了铁铬电池的成本,取得了较好的环境效益和经济效益。
Description
技术领域
本发明属于废液处理领域,涉及一种三价铬电镀废液的处理方法,尤其涉及一种氯化物体系三价铬电镀废液的处理方法。
背景技术
铬镀层因其硬度高、耐磨性好等优良性能被广泛应用于各工业领域,是电镀工业的三大镀种之一。传统的六价铬镀铬工艺由于毒性大、污染严重已经不能满足现代社会对于健康和环保的要求。三价铬电镀技术因为工艺环保、镀层性能与六价铬镀层相似,作为最有希望替代六价铬电镀的技术之一,在最近三十年内得到了长足的发展。目前,已经有商品化的装饰铬三价铬电镀工艺出售,三价铬电镀厚铬的技术也在紧锣密鼓的发展当中。
三价铬电镀中,尤其是进行厚铬电镀时,为维持镀液稳定、满足厚铬生产的需要,Cr3+浓度通常很高,电镀一段时间后,镀液中有效物质减少,造成镀层质量下降,虽然可以对镀液中的主要成分进行分析和补加,但是几次以后,镀液有效成分配比失衡,杂质含量增加,造成镀层质量下降。将用过的电镀液直接报废或者经过简单处理后报废不但给环境保护带来沉重的负担,而且对资源造成浪费,加大了生产成本。
液流电池是一种新型的储能电池,利用电解液中离子发生的氧化还原反应达到存储、释放电子的目的,主要用于电源调峰、光伏电池发电、为边远地区提供电力、可再生能源发电等,其具有容量高、使用范围广、循环寿命长的特点。目前,已经研发成功的液流电池主要有锌溴液流电池,全钒液流电池,铁铬液流电池等。铁铬液流电池的电解液中以Fe3+和Cr3 +作为进行氧化还原反应的活性物质,氯化铵作为支持电解质增加电解液的导电性。铁铬原料来源广泛,价格便宜,电对的可逆性好,是液流电池理想的电解液材料。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种三价铬电镀废液的处理方法。对三价铬电镀废液进行电解除杂,补充活性物质等处理步骤,制备了可用于铁铬液流电池使用的电解液,降低了废液排放的带来的环境污染,降低了废液处理成本和液流电池生产成本。
为了达到上述目的,本发明采用的技术方案是:
一种三价铬电镀废液的处理方法,包含以下步骤:
(1)低电流密度长时间电解去除三价铬电镀废液中的金属离子杂质;
(2)高电流密度电解去除电镀废液中的有机物杂质;
(3)用氢氧化钠调节废液pH值在6.5到6.8之间;
(4)检测三价铬废液中的Cr3+含量;
(5)电镀废液中按比例添加活性物质和支持电解质;
(6)溶液进行充分搅拌,过滤。可作为铁铬液流电池的电解液使用。
所述的三价铬电镀废液,主要组成为:氯化铬,草酸,乙酸,氯化铵,表面活性剂,金属离子杂质等。
所述的三价铬废液处理方法,步骤(1)中,以大面积瓦楞形不锈钢作为阴极,石墨作为阳极,电流密度为10~15A/dm2进行长时间电解,去除镀液中含有的铜、铁等金属离子杂质。
所述的三价铬废液处理方法,步骤(2)中,以大面积瓦楞形不锈钢作为阴极,石墨作为阳极,电流密度为60~70A/dm2进行电解,使镀液中的草酸、乙酸等有机物杂质分解去除。
所述的三价铬废液处理方法,步骤(3)中,氢氧化钠溶液浓度≤0.1mol/L,调节过程中要缓慢,充分搅拌,防止Cr3+络合沉淀。
所述的三价铬废液处理方法,步骤(5)中,活性物质为氯化铁和氯化铬,按照Fe3+与Cr3+离子1:1的摩尔比加入,氯化铁浓度0.6~1.2mol/L,可适当补充Cr3+;支持电解质为氯化铵,浓度0.8~2mol/L。
本发明的优点和有益效果是:本发明提供的三价铬电镀废液处理方法,可以使失衡不能继续用于电镀生产的溶液得到全新的利用,处理方法简单,有效降低了电镀废液的处理成本。以电镀废液重生作为铁铬液流电池的电解液,大大降低了铁铬电池的成本,取得了较好的环境效益和经济效益。
具体实施方式
以下,通过实施例对本发明进一步详细阐述。
实施例1
本实施例中,三价铬电镀废液中含有三价铬0.4mol/L,氯化铵1.0mol/L,草酸0.4mol/L,表面活性剂,铜离子32mg/L,其余为水。
电流密度为15A/dm2电解5h后,铜离子浓度为4.2mg/L。
电流密度为70A/dm2进行电解30分钟,电解过程中有大量气体产生,为氢气和二氧化碳气体。
用浓度为0.05mol/L的氢氧化钠溶液缓慢调节溶液pH值为6.6;补充氯化铁至Fe3+浓度为1.0mol/L,氯化铬至Cr3+浓度为1.0mol/L,氯化铵1.5mol/L,搅拌溶解完全后,用作铁铬液流电池电解液,电解液温度65℃,电流密度200mA/cm2时进行充放电,能量效率75%。
实施例2
本实施例中,三价铬电镀废液中含有三价铬0.4mol/L,氯化铵1.0mol/L,草酸0.4mol/L,表面活性剂,铜离子32mg/L,其余为水。
电流密度为15A/dm2电解6h后,铜离子浓度为1.8mg/L。
电流密度为70A/dm2进行电解30分钟,电解过程中有大量气体产生,为氢气和二氧化碳气体。
用浓度为0.05mol/L的氢氧化钠溶液缓慢调节溶液pH值为6.6,补充氯化铁1.2mol/L,氯化铵1.0mol/L,补充氯化铬至Cr3+浓度为1.2mol/L,搅拌溶解完全后,用作铁铬液流电池电解液,电解液温度25℃,电流密度120mA/cm2时进行充放电,能量效率67%。
实施例3
本实施例中,三价铬电镀废液中含有三价铬0.4mol/L,氯化铵1.0mol/L,草酸0.4mol/L,表面活性剂,铜离子32mg/L,其余为水。
电流密度为15A/dm2电解6h后,铜离子浓度为1.8mg/L。
电流密度为60A/dm2进行电解35分钟,电解过程中有大量气体产生,为氢气和二氧化碳气体。
用浓度为0.08mol/L的氢氧化钠溶液缓慢调节溶液pH值为6.8,补充氯化铁0.8mol/L,氯化铵2.0mol/L,补充氯化铬至Cr3+浓度为0.8mol/L,搅拌溶解完全后,用作铁铬液流电池电解液。

Claims (3)
1.一种三价铬电镀废液的处理方法,其特征在于以下步骤:
(1)低电流密度电解去除三价铬电镀废液中的金属离子杂质
以不锈钢作为阴极,石墨作为阳极,电流密度为10~15A/dm2进行电解,去除镀液中含有的铜、铁金属离子杂质;
(2)高电流密度电解去除电镀废液中的有机物杂质
以不锈钢作为阴极,石墨作为阳极,电流密度为60~70A/dm2进行电解,去除镀液中的草酸、乙酸有机物杂质;
(3)采用氢氧化钠溶液调节废液pH值在6.5到6.8之间;所述的氢氧化钠溶液浓度≤0.1mol/L;
(4)检测三价铬废液中的Cr3+含量;
(5)电镀废液中添加活性物质和支持电解质;
活性物质为氯化铁和氯化铬,按照Fe3+与Cr3+离子1:1的摩尔比加入,氯化铁浓度0.6~1.2mol/L;支持电解质为氯化铵,浓度0.8~2mol/L;
(6)溶液进行充分搅拌,过滤后,可作为铁铬液流电池的电解液使用。
2.根据权利要求1所述的三价铬电镀废液的处理方法,其特征在于,所述的三价铬电镀废液中的主要组成为:氯化铬,草酸,乙酸,氯化铵,表面活性剂,金属离子杂质。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的三价铬电镀废液的处理方法,其特征在于,步骤(3)中,所述的氢氧化钠溶液浓度≤0.1mol/L,调节过程中充分搅拌,防止Cr3+络合沉淀。
