Background
The frog is called a huwen, a water chicken, and the head of the frog is grown to be strong and is called as the frog of Asia. The female is larger than the male, the body length can exceed 12 cm, and the weight is 250-500 g. The skin is rough and dark and irregular spots are present on the head and body. The back is yellowish green and brown, and has tens of lines of longitudinally arranged skin ridges, and small wart grains are scattered among the skin ridges. White ventral surface, irregular streaks, gray-brown spots in pharynx and chest. Transverse plaques are present in the anterior and posterior limbs. These patches are so named because they look somewhat like tiger skin. The toe ends are sharp and round, and the toes are provided with full webs. The forelimbs are thick and strong, the finger pad is developed and gray. The male frogs have a pair of external vocal sacs. Has been classified as a national level II important protection animal. Therefore, the raised chickens on the market are generally formed by artificial breeding, and the raised chickens are greatly inferior to wild chickens in nutritive value and meat taste due to the problems of unscientific breeding method, water pollution of breeding land and the like.
