现在参考图3,该图为类似于图1的边缘卡适配器10的倾斜卡侧正视图,其包括根据本发明的实施方案的边缘卡42的截面图。可以是刚性电路板的边缘卡42占据狭槽22(图1)。上排26、28、30和下排32、34中的接触构件36、38是有弹力的并且当边缘卡的上表面和下表面接触该上接触构件36和下接触构件38时,通过将边缘卡42插入到狭槽22中来分别向上和向下移位(即,远离由狭槽22限定的平面)。所有上接触构件36和下接触构件38充当在边缘卡上配合电接触件的擦拭接触件。将边缘卡42继续插入,直到后壁24阻止边缘卡42的进一步推进。将擦拭接触件反复插入在边缘卡42中并从边缘卡适配器10移除的应用中是自清洁的。

接触件40出现在销48的束具侧末端处。边缘卡42的上表面在压力点50、52、54处被上接触构件36按压。边缘卡42的下表面在压力点56、58处被下接触构件38按压。所有压力点对应于边缘卡42上的配合电接触件(未示出)。在没有焊接的情况下实现边缘卡42与上接触构件36和下接触构件38的弯头46之间的流电接触。
另选的实施方案
现在参考图5,该图为根据本发明的另选实施方案的边缘卡适配器60的正视图。边缘卡适配器60类似于上述的实施方案,不同的是其旨在永久地接合边缘卡64,使得边缘卡适配器60和边缘卡64不可分离。
外壳62设有延伸件66。两个卡扣夹具68具有到延伸件66的附接件70并且略微延伸超过延伸件66的自由端部。当边缘卡64插入到边缘卡适配器60中时,夹具68接触边缘卡64的凸缘72。如箭头74所示,夹具68向内枢转,并且可以在边缘卡64的凹痕76内卡扣就位,使得防止边缘卡64脱离边缘卡适配器60。
本领域的技术人员应当理解,本发明不限于上文具体示出和描述的内容。相反,本发明的范围包括上文所述各种特征的组合与子组合两者,以及本领域的技术人员在阅读上述说明书时可想到的未在现有技术范围内的上述各种特征的变型和修改。
Claims (26)
1.一种边缘卡连接器组件,包括:
外壳,所述外壳具有卡侧部分、能够连接到缆线的束具侧部分,以及位于所述卡侧部分和所述束具侧部分之间的壁,所述卡侧部分适于在入口平面中沿边缘将平面结构接收在所述卡侧部分中,所述平面结构具有上表面和下表面;和
多个弹性电接触构件,所述多个弹性电接触构件延伸穿过所述壁,并且适于与所述缆线在所述束具侧部分中电连接以及与所述平面结构在所述卡侧部分中电连接,上接触构件和下接触构件分别设置在所述平面的上方和下方,使得所接收的平面结构撞击所述接触构件以推动所述上接触构件和下接触构件远离所述平面,并且所述上接触构件和下接触构件在相应的接触点处在所述平面结构的所述上表面和所述下表面上施加相反的保持压力。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中所述接触构件包括指状物部分和弯头,所述指状物部分大体从所述壁延伸到所述弯头,所述接触构件的至少一部分的所述弯头在所述相应的接触点中的一个接触点处与所述平面结构流电接触。
3.根据权利要求2所述的组件,其中所述指状物部分是弹性的。
4.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中所述接触构件被布置为位于所述平面上方的上组排和位于所述平面下方的下组排。
5.根据权利要求4所述的组件,其中所述上组排和所述下组排总计五排。
6.根据权利要求4所述的组件,其中在所述上组排中有三排,并且在所述下组排中有两排。
7.根据权利要求6所述的组件,其中有34个接触构件。
8.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中所述外壳的所述卡侧部分具有相对的侧壁和形成在所述侧壁中的一对狭槽,所述狭槽限定所述平面并且在所述平面中接收所述平面结构。
9.根据权利要求8所述的组件,其中所述狭槽终止在所述壁处。
10.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中在所述束具侧部分中,所述接触构件终止为用于缆线的销连接器。
11.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中在所述束具侧部分中,所述接触构件终止为用于缆线的插座连接器。
12.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中所述平面结构为印刷电路板,所述印刷电路板具有在所述接触点处与所述接触构件配合的电接触件。
13.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其中所述外壳设置有卡扣夹具,所述卡扣夹具接合所述平面结构的相应凹痕。
14.一种方法,包括:
在导管中提供柄部,所述柄部具有设置在其中的边缘卡连接器;
以及
将边缘卡和缆线束具连接到所述边缘卡连接器,其中所述边缘卡连接器包括:
外壳,所述外壳具有卡侧部分、能够连接到所述缆线束具的束具侧部分,以及位于所述卡侧部分和所述束具侧部分之间的壁,所述卡侧部分适于在入口平面中沿边缘将平面结构接收在所述卡侧部分中,所述平面结构具有上表面和下表面;和
多个弹性电接触构件,所述多个弹性电接触构件延伸穿过所述壁,并且适于与所述缆线束具在所述束具侧部分中电连接以及与所述平面结构在所述卡侧部分中电连接,上接触构件和下接触构件分别设置在所述平面的上方和下方,使得所接收的平面结构撞击所述接触构件以推动所述上接触构件和下接触构件远离所述平面,并且所述上接触构件和所述下接触构件在相应的接触点处在平面结构的上表面和下表面上施加相反的保持压力。
15.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述接触构件包括指状物部分和弯头,所述指状物部分大体从所述壁延伸到所述弯头,所述接触构件的至少一部分的所述弯头还包括在所述相应的接触点中的一个接触点处与所述平面结构流电接触。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,其中所述指状物部分是弹性的。
17.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述接触构件被布置为位于所述平面上方的上组排和位于所述平面下方的下组排。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中所述上组排和所述下组排总计五排。
19.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中在所述上组排中有三排,并且在所述下组排中有两排。
20.根据权利要求19所述的方法,其中有34个接触构件。
21.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述外壳的所述卡侧部分具有相对的侧壁和形成在所述侧壁中的一对狭槽,所述狭槽限定所述平面并且在所述平面中接收所述平面结构。
22.根据权利要求21所述的方法,其中所述狭槽终止在所述壁处。
23.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中在所述束具侧部分中,所述接触构件终止为用于缆线束具的销连接器。
24.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中在所述束具侧部分中,所述接触构件终止为用于缆线束具的插座连接器。
25.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中所述平面结构为印刷电路板,所述印刷电路板具有在所述接触点处与所述接触构件配合的电接触件。
26.根据权利要求14所述的方法,其中使用卡扣夹具来进行连接边缘卡,以防止所述边缘卡和所述边缘卡连接器的脱离。
