技术领域
本发明涉及用于轮胎用增强帘布层的粘合剂配混料。
背景技术
在生产轮胎时,为了确保所需要的耐受标准,利用由纺织材料(例如,尼龙、人造丝、聚酯、芳香族聚酰胺)制成的增强帘布层。
如本领域技术人员已知,纺织材料通常用作在胎体内的增强材料,所述胎体具有规定轮胎的几何形状、支承载荷和将车辆应力转移至地面、确保对受应力的区域的耐久强度、和防止轮胎高速中的胀大(growth)的功能。
增强帘布层涂覆有约1mm的橡胶层,其在本文献中在下文中将会使用英文术语"帘布贴胶层(ply skim)"来表明。
通常,将该帘布层(ply)用粘合剂组合物处理以便促进其粘合至帘布贴胶层。如本领域技术人员显而易见的,帘布贴胶层与帘布层之间的不足的粘合会必然地导致轮胎的寿命短。
通常使用的粘合剂组合物为碱性pH水系悬浮液,该悬浮液以1:2的摩尔比包含间苯二酚和甲醛的组合。
出于安全原因,存在需要大幅地减少工业处理中的甲醛的使用。
很久以前引入了具有受保护的异氰酸酯基的由间苯二酚和甲醛组成的预缩合树脂的使用。在预缩合树脂内的间苯二酚和甲醛的比例为1:1,这必然地揭示了,为了使除了预缩合树脂以外的前述粘合剂组合物生效,还添加额外量的游离甲醛。从前述中,清楚的是,预缩合树脂的引入不能解决与甲醛的使用相关的问题。
因此已经感到需要实现不包括游离甲醛的使用而不使其粘合性折中的要应用于轮胎用帘布层的粘合剂组合物。
发明内容
本发明的目的是一种粘合剂组合物,其适合应用于轮胎用纺织材料的增强帘布层;所述粘合剂组合物为单一的碱性水溶液,所述单一的碱性水溶液包含(a)弹性体性橡胶胶乳以及(b)由间苯二酚和甲醛组成且含有受保护的异氰酸酯基的预缩合树脂;所述粘合剂组合物的特征在于,所述单一的水溶液进一步包含(c)木质素以及(d)选自脲和硫脲之间的化合物。
水溶液的碱性环境除去预缩合树脂的异氰酸酯基的保护。异氰酸酯基与所存在的脲或硫脲反应。如已知的,仅发生脲或硫脲与异氰酸酯基之间的反应,其中不置换脲和硫脲的氮原子。事实上,氮原子上的取代基的存在会防止它们反应,例如产生长链结构。
优选地,所述弹性体性橡胶胶乳包括苯乙烯-丁二烯-乙烯基吡啶胶乳或来自苯乙烯-丁二烯-乙烯基吡啶和苯乙烯-丁二烯的混合物的胶乳。
优选地,木质素为磺化木质素。
优选地,所述粘合剂组合物包含5至25phr的所述预缩合树脂、1至10phr的木质素以及1至10phr的选自脲和硫脲的化合物。
本发明的进一步目的是一种轮胎用纺织材料的增强帘布层,其浸渍于根据本发明的粘合剂组合物中。
本发明的又进一步目的是一种轮胎,其包括轮胎用纺织材料的增强帘布层,该增强帘布层浸渍于根据本发明的粘合剂组合物中。
具体实施方式
为了更好地理解本发明,以下实施例出于示例性和非限制性的目的。
实施例
制成了两种增强帘布层用粘合剂组合物。第一种是比较用粘合剂组合物(Comp.),其中利用游离甲醛;并且第二种为根据本发明的粘合剂组合物(Inv.),其中不利用游离甲醛,但使用脲和木质素的组合。
在表I中,报道了两种粘合剂组合物的以重量%计的组成。

用于粘合剂组合物的胶乳为苯乙烯-丁二烯-乙烯基吡啶胶乳。
所使用的缩合树脂由缩写"I-168-L"表示并且由公司INDSPEC CHEMICAL销售。
下文中,通过实施例,报道用于制备这两种组合物的过程。
-比较用(Comp.)粘合剂组合物的制备过程
间苯二酚以期望的浓度溶解于水中。然后以表I中报道的比例添加甲醛,并且使所得溶液反应5分钟至30分钟的时间。此时,缓慢添加氨并且使得其反应在5分钟至1小时的范围内的时间。最后,添加胶乳并且使其熟化(mature)1小时至72小时的时间。
-本发明(Inv.)的粘合剂组合物的制备过程
缩合树脂溶解于水中,使其pH通过适当量的氨而预先地达到至≥9的值。
然后添加脲,并且使溶液的pH通过进一步添加氨而达到至≥10的值。
此时,添加木质素和胶乳。
将上述两种粘合剂组合物使用相同的过程而施加至聚酯帘线(1670/2390×390)以分别制备利用比较用粘合剂组合物制成的复合体和利用本发明的粘合剂组合物制成的复合体。
通过压延操作,将用粘合剂组合物处理的帘线埋设在两层帘布贴胶层之间。
在表II中,报道了用于以相同的方式埋设用比较用粘合剂组合物Comp.处理的帘线和用本发明的粘合剂组合物Inv.处理的帘线这二者的帘布贴胶层配混料的组成。

天然橡胶由天然来源的顺式-1,4-聚异戊二烯组成的聚合物基料制成。
所使用的促进剂为N-叔丁基-2-苯并噻唑次磺酰胺(TBBS)。
以下,报道帘布贴胶层配混料的制备过程。
(第1混炼步骤)
在开始混炼之前,将具有切向型转子且内部容积在230与270升之间的混炼机(通常称为班伯里)填充有聚合物基料和增强填料,达到填充因子为66-72%。
在40-60rpm的速度下运行混炼机,并且由此形成的混合物在一旦达到140-160℃的温度时就排出。
(第2混炼步骤)
将硫化体系添加至由先前步骤获得的混合物,达到填充因子为63-67%。
在20-40rpm的速度下运行混炼机,并且由此形成的混合物在一旦达到100-110℃的温度时就排出。
作为压延操作的结果获得的复合体一旦硫化,则进行粘合性试验。
粘合性试验通过借助施加载荷分离帘线-橡胶复合体的这两部分来进行,以便然后评价被橡胶覆盖的帘布层的百分比。
特别地,对在改变硫化时间之后获得的复合体和经历改变老化时间的复合体二者进行粘合性试验。
以此方式,可以证实,即使在改变硫化时间和改变老化时间的情况下,本发明的粘合剂组合物是否也将能够确保与比较用组合物相同的粘合强度。
具体地,所考虑的硫化时间分别为10分钟、50分钟、110分钟、170分钟;而所考虑的老化时间分别为8小时、16小时和24小时。
老化过程要求,将复合体在125℃的烘箱中依照ISO 188标准保持表III中表明的可变的时间。
在表III中,报道了作为硫化时间的函数的为了从橡胶中提取帘线所需的力(牛顿/根帘线);在表IV中,报道了作为复合体所经历的老化时间的函数的为了从橡胶中提取帘线所需的力(牛顿/根帘线)。

从表III和IV中报道的数据中,清楚的是,木质素的存在,与由通过间苯二酚和甲醛的组合树脂与脲或硫脲之间的反应形成的结构组合,成功克服了使用游离甲醛的需要。事实上,存在于本发明的组合物内的仅有的甲醛不是游离状态,而是包埋在预缩合树脂内。
总之,作为本发明的主题的粘合剂配混料能够确保比较用配混料的粘合水平,然而却不必须使用游离甲醛。
以此方式,本发明的粘合剂配混料具有能够避免使用游离甲醛的巨大优势,具有这在安全性方面所需要的全部益处,却不使其在粘合性方面的性能折中。

Claims (7)

1.一种粘合剂组合物,其适合应用于轮胎用纺织材料的增强帘布层;所述粘合剂组合物为单一的碱性水溶液,所述单一的碱性水溶液包含(a)弹性体性橡胶胶乳以及(b)由间苯二酚和甲醛组成且含有受保护的异氰酸酯基的预缩合树脂;所述粘合剂组合物的特征在于,所述单一的水溶液进一步包含(c)木质素以及(d)选自脲和硫脲的化合物。
2.根据权利要求1所述的粘合剂组合物,其特征在于,所述弹性体性橡胶胶乳包括苯乙烯-丁二烯-乙烯基吡啶胶乳或来自苯乙烯-丁二烯-乙烯基吡啶和苯乙烯-丁二烯的混合物的胶乳。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的粘合剂组合物,其特征在于,所述木质素为磺化木质素。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的粘合剂组合物,其特征在于,其包含5至25phr的所述预缩合树脂、1至10phr的所述木质素以及1至10phr的所述选自脲和硫脲的化合物。
5.根据权利要求3所述的粘合剂组合物,其特征在于,其包含5至25phr的所述预缩合树脂、1至10phr的所述木质素以及1至10phr的所述选自脲和硫脲的化合物。
6.一种轮胎用纺织材料的增强帘布层,其浸渍于根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的粘合剂组合物中。
7.一种轮胎,其包括根据权利要求6所述的纺织材料的增强帘布层。
