技术领域
本发明涉及球阀组件。具体来说,其涉及可用于例如管道应用(例如家用或较大规模的水或中央供暖系统)中的塑料或铜管系统中的球阀组件。
背景技术
这种球阀组件大体上包括带有用于流体流动的中心通道的管道;在管道内可旋转地安装的球阀,该球阀具有选择性地可在操作位置与中心通道对齐以允许通过阀组件的流动的通孔;管道中的侧向开口;附接到球阀并延伸通过侧向开口的把手,使得其可从管道外部接近,以允许球阀的旋转。这种球阀组件随后将称作“所描述类型的”。
通常称为工作阀的所描述类型的球阀具有确定已久的常规设计。管道可为金属或塑料,但两种形式通常都结合了金属球。生产金属球很昂贵并且金属球难以在制造期间组装到主体内。图1-3中示出了一个这种球阀。
这包括管道1,其为带有中心通道2的空心大体圆柱形主体。在各个端部提供快速配合连接器3以允许组件连接在外部管道的各个端部。也可使用其他端部连接器。在每个连接器3的内侧(in board)的是相应的O形环密封件4,以对插入组件中的管道进行密封。提供球阀5以控制通过中心通道的流。球阀5具有通孔6并且可旋转地安装在管道1的中心部分中的腔室7中。球阀5由成对的O形环密封件8,9在两个端部处密封,以防止中心通道2中的通过流绕过球阀5。球阀6具有颈部10,其延伸到管道1的壁中的侧向孔11中,接合部由O形环12密封。
为了组装球阀组件,O形环8首先抵着从中心通道2的壁朝内突出的肩部11放置到位。如图1中示出的,然后将球阀5从右端放入中心通道2中。最初,球阀5处于这样的定向中:其中颈部10沿着中心通道2在前引导(lead the way),直到球阀6到达腔室7,于是其旋转到图1中示出的位置,其中O形环密封件12与侧向端口11密封。然后将第二密封件9放置到位并且从管道1的右端插入保持套筒13,以便如图1中示出将球阀6保持到位。然后将图1的右端的最后的O形环4和快速配合连接器3放置到位。
为了将把手15附接到球阀,将带有垫圈17的螺钉16通过把手15中的开口18和球阀6顶部的开口19插入,开口19设有内螺纹,以将把手附接到位。
球阀5的制造昂贵,并且由于将球阀5的颈部10保持通过侧向开口11并且将球阀5转动到图1中示出的位置是不方便的,其不容易组装到主体内。
我们研究了作为塑料部件生产球阀5,但是在开发把手15和球阀5之间的足够坚固的接头方面不成功。
发明内容
根据本发明,所描述类型的球阀组件的特征在于球阀、把手和管道大小设置成使得球阀和把手一起可以第一定向插入管道的一端到中间位置,从此位置和定向可将球阀和把手一起在球阀不离开管道的情况下操纵到具有第二定向的最终位置,其中把手通过侧向开口延伸出来并且球阀处于其操作位置。
利用本发明,球阀和把手一起插入到管道中。该部件明显长于单独的球阀,使得部件一旦其处于管道内就更容易操纵。因此,与现有技术中对齐球阀的颈部相比,使把手的端部操纵进入侧向孔更加容易。
球阀和把手可为相互附接的分离的部件。然而,优选地,球阀和把手整体形成为单个部件。这意味着两个部件作为相同步骤的部分形成在一起,在该步骤中形成两个部件的材料首先形成为把手和球阀的形状。这个过程优选为模制步骤,但是例如可为锻造、压铸或3D打印。无论如何,因为部件形成在一起,所以球阀与把手之间不存在单独的连接步骤。
整体形成的球阀和把手部件可由金属形成。然而,其优选地由塑料形成,因为这消除了昂贵的金属球阀,并且还解决了当球阀是塑料时连接把手和球阀的上述问题。
管道和球阀优选地构造成使得在朝向中间位置的第一定向中,球阀和管道之间存在趋于导致球阀和把手旋转、使得把手的端部朝向侧向开口移动的方式的接触。这有促进插入过程,因为这种接触将自然趋于导致把手的端部朝向并通过侧向孔移动,由此相当地促进操纵过程。
本发明还延伸至制造球阀组件的方法。

具体实施方式
除了球阀和把手之外,图4中示出的球阀组件的所有部分与图1中示出的那些相同,并且相同的附图标记已经用于指出这些相同的部件。这里将仅描述本发明提供的改进。
改进包括将球阀和把手整合到单个子组件20中,其具有球阀部分21和把手部分22。如图4所示,球阀部分和把手部分21以及把手部分22例如通过模制成单个部件而形成为单件式部件。唯一的附加部件是配合在把手上、凹槽23中的O形环12。球阀部分21的几何形状类似于前述球阀5的几何形状,因为其配合在腔室7内、在密封件8,9之间并具有通孔6。将理解的是,虽然该部件称作球阀部分并且具有大体上球形的形状,但是对于偏离真正球形的形状存在很大的范围,特别是因为与通孔相邻的两个端部为大体上平坦部分24,如图6中最佳示出的。
通过与图1比较,把手部分22具有与把手15明显不同的形状。具体而言,虽然把手15直接垂直于球阀5,但把手部分22具有更平滑的过渡,因为其具有与球阀部分21的旋转轴线成大约45度角的倾斜部分25。倾斜部分25通向主部分26,其比图1中的把手15离管道1间隔更远。
根据现在将要描述的组装球阀组件的方式,这种几何形状的原因是显而易见的。图5和图6都示出了在第一位置A中子组件20最初在管道1的外部。然后其示出于为处于中间位置B和对应于图4中示出的位置的最终位置C上。从图5和图6中示出的中间位置B显而易见的是,上述几何形状使子组件能够插入到管道1中。随着子组件20从中间位置进一步移动到管道1中,把手的端部27接近侧向开口11。在组装过程期间,装配人员能够以侧向开口11在最上方的情况保持管道1,并且还紧握子组件的球阀部分21并将其保持在使得把手的端部27在最上方的定向中。
在把手部分22的端部27位于侧向开口11下方的情况下,球阀部分21的顶部前部28抵着管道1中的肩部29支撑,由此以参照图5和图6的顺时针定向倾斜子组件,导致把手的端部27开始向上朝向并穿过侧向开口21移动。进一步操纵子组件20进入管道21使子组件朝向最终位置的这种旋转继续。组装者可通过在球阀部分21上施加向下的压力和/或通过在把手的端部27通过侧向开口11出现时紧握把手的端部27来促进该旋转,由此将子组件转入如图4中示出的最终位置。一旦其到位,密封件9、保持套筒13、第二O形环密封件4和快速配合连接器3就如关于现有技术示例描述的那样放置到位。
将理解的是,管道1、球阀部分21和把手22的几何形状有许多变化,它们允许子组件插入。例如,在管道的下部中、管道的与侧向开口11相反的一侧上可存在凸起,以允许用于球阀部分21旋转到位的足够的间隙。然而,带有具有朝向主把手部分26的非突变过渡的把手部分22的图示的布置提供了这样一种布置:其可配合到未修改的管道1中,但仍具有足够的间隙以允许子组件如所述那样旋转到最终位置。

Claims (10)

所述管道中的侧向开口;
