技术领域

背景技术

车辆中的侧向撞击事件已识别为政府要求持续变得更加严格的研究和监管两者的首要任务之一。已知车辆在操作期间可能与障碍物碰撞。车门结构常常经受大力入侵。为了试图改进在侧向撞击事件期间对车辆乘客的保护,机动车辆已设有各种结构升级,以减小碰撞型撞击对车辆的乘客舱室的影响。具体地说,为了减小侧向碰撞型撞击对车辆乘客就座区域的影响,已采取了各种方案。这些方案包括提供可折叠/可变形阻挡件来吸收碰撞的撞击能量,以保护乘客。由于地图袋装饰部件邻近车辆乘客的位置,因而该地图袋装饰部件已用作此种可折叠/可变形阻挡件。

出于说明的目的,在图3中提供根据本发明的一个示例性地图袋200。在所说明的实施例中,地图袋200包括多个基本水平定向的表面211、212和多个基本垂直定向的表面213、214。如这里使用的是,术语水平大体指代车辆在其上行驶的地面的平面,且术语垂直大体指代垂直于水平平面的平面。术语基本意指这些表面可从它们的相应平面改变高达30度。此外,一些表面可弯曲,意思是它们既非完全水平又非垂直。此外,其它表面可从水平或垂直方向向内、向外、向上或向下成角度。如上文所注意的是,表面211-214的放置位置通常产生具有至少一个开口端部的袋形状,且提供各个表面211-214用于诸如地图的物体的固定。
为了将地图袋固定于车门装饰组件的其余部分,绕地图袋200的一些或所有部分提供周界凸缘217。周界凸缘217包括多个附连点215,这些附连点设置成凸缘217中的小孔口,且诸如桩柱之类的合适紧固装置可部署通过这些小孔口,以将地图袋200固定于车门装饰组件的剩余部分。凸缘217的形状以及附连点215的数量和定位也取决于所考虑车辆车门的形状和设计。
在一实施例中,地图袋200包括外部A侧表面材料231和内部基底材料232。如这里使用的是,外部A侧是地图袋200的面向车辆的乘客(即,面向车辆内部)的侧部,且内侧指代邻抵于车辆车门组件的剩余部分的侧部。外部A侧表面材料231可包括非织造材料,出于美观和舒适考虑两者选择该非织造材料。此外,外部A侧表面材料应是易于热成形的一种材料,这是用于制造目前描述的地图袋的工艺,如下文将更详细讨论。非织造热成形材料的一个特点示例是“Troubador”,其可从各个供应商获得各种颜色、质地和密度。非织造可热变形A侧材料231的厚度可改变,但在厚度上通常是从约0.5至约50毫米。
在一实施例中,内部基底材料232可包括聚乙烯/聚丙烯(PP)非织造纤维材料。这里使用的术语“非织造纤维材料”指代包括两种或更多种既非织造又非针织的纤维的任何材料,也就是说,已混编且铺放成垫形状的纤维,其中,纤维在垫中随机地定向。纤维材料能以两种形式存在:柔性垫和通过热成形产生的更刚性形式。非织造纤维材料包括混编两种或更多种类型的热塑料聚合物纤维。如这里使用的“热塑料聚合物纤维”指代包括如下聚合物的任何纤维,该聚合物由于其粘度随着温度升高而单调地减小而易于以较高温度形成,且快速地升高到熔融温度以上。针对本发明的目的,热塑料聚合物包括但不限于聚丙烯(PP)和聚乙烯(PE)。
本发明中给出的纤维比值以重量分数计。因此,混合物中纤维A与纤维B的50:50比值会指示,混合物中总质量的50%由纤维A构成,而混合物中总质量的50%由纤维B构成。本发明中重量比值的范围是从20:80至80:20的PP纤维对PE纤维。纤维的比值影响非织造纤维材料的密度。此外,其它因素也可影响其密度,例如混合纤维的方式。因此,应意识到的是,PE/PP纤维垫能以各种密度获得。适合于用作基底材料层232的非织造纤维材料的典型密度是从约500克每平方米(gsm)至约2000克每平方米。
如上文初始注意到的是,非织造纤维材料232能易于热成形,这使得材料更刚性并且允许其保持其形状。然而,材料甚至在热成形之后保持其纤维质量,且因此仍比上文结合图1给出的注塑模制树脂的示例刚性更小。因此,在热成形的情形下,纤维非织造PE/PP材料用作地图袋200的基底232,并且为此提供足够的刚性。此外,由于该材料能以宽范围的密度获得,因而与上文参照图1讨论的设计变化(即,引入切口)的需求相比,地图袋基底232的最终刚度仅仅基于材料选择就高度可调节。地图袋基底232的厚度在热成形的情形下可通常在从约3毫米至约15毫米的范围内,并且在一些情形中可大于约15毫米。
这样,在一实施例中,地图袋200并不包括关于基底材料层232的水平或垂直表面211-214的任何一个的任何切口(与上文参照图1讨论的设计相比)。再者,如这里使用的是,术语“切口”指代基底周界内超过基底的总体表面积5%的空隙,并且区别于前文描述的小得多的附连点215,并且进一步区别于凸缘217的任何不连续性(这不会在基底的周界“内”)。而是,表面211-214相对于PE/PP纤维材料层232形成不具有空隙的连续表面。
根据前文并且为了更佳地说明,图5A是根据本发明一个特点实施例的可折叠地图袋的A侧部分的照片,且图5B是其线条图;图6A是根据本发明一个特定实施例的可折叠地图袋的聚乙烯/聚丙烯基底部分的照片,且图6B是其线条图;图7A是根据本发明一个特定实施例的可折叠地图袋的基底部分和A侧部分的凸缘的放大照片,且图7B是其线条图;以及图8A是根据本发明一个特定实施例的粘附于(即,利用粘合剂)基底部分的A侧部分的照片,且图8B是其线条图。
现转向图4中提供的流程图,讨论用于使用热成形制造地图袋200的一个示例性方法300。首先,在步骤302处选择合适的A侧材料。再者,A侧材料选自非织造热成形材料,例如“Troubador”。针对A侧材料选择的考虑主要是美观和触感,因为该侧暴露于车辆乘客。接下来,在步骤304处,针对适合于特定应用的密度来选择PP/PE纤维材料。如上文所注意的是,该材料是可调节的,这意味着仅仅使用材料选择就能实现各种水平的变形能力,而不会改变地图袋的设计或构造。再者,变形能力的水平与车门面板的侧向抗撞击特征直接地相关。在其它实施例中,材料并非必须是PP/PE材料,而仍可针对适合于特定应用的密度来选择。
接下来,在步骤306处,使得A侧材料和基底材料带动到一起、彼此相邻并且利用粘合剂胶合在一起并热成形。如本领域已知的是,热成形是这样的制造工艺,其中,将一个或多个材料板加热至柔韧成形温度,并且在模具中形成为特定形状。除了粘合剂的功能以外,热成形工艺还用于将基底层和A侧层一起粘附成如图3中所示的单体双层结构。最终,在步骤308处,热成形结构经受诸如修整的后热成形处理,以构造边缘的轮廓并且形成附连点,从而产生完全在图3中示出的最终构造(包括成形凸缘217和附连点215)。传统的处理方法之后可用于例如使用桩柱将完工地图袋附连于车门装饰面板,并且完成车辆车门以及最终整个车辆的组装。这些传统的处理方面对于本领域普通技术人员是众所周知的,且这里出于简化起见而省略。
因此,本发明已提供用在车辆、尤其是车辆车门组件中的可调节可变形/可折叠地图袋的实施例。完工地图袋在这里称为“可折叠”或“可变形”,这是由于其纤维材料基底会在施加例如可能在侧向撞击碰撞期间遭遇的力的情形下折叠或变形这一事实。这这点上,本发明已提出提供一种地图袋,该地图袋能关于它们的变形能力来调节,而无需区分切口(116)的数量或尺寸。这样,所公开的地图袋具有连续的垂直和水平表面(即,不包括切口),A侧材料放置到这些表面上,以避免软点的存在。所公开的地图袋由此向车辆提供增大的安全性,同时维持令人满意的内部车辆美观。
虽然在前文详细描述中已呈现了至少一个示例性可折叠地图袋,但应意识到的是存在各种各样变型。还应意识到的是,示例性可折叠地图袋或多个示例性可折叠地图袋仅仅是示例,且并不旨在以任何方式限制本发明的范围、可应用性或构造。而是,前文详细描述会向本领域技术人员提供用于实施本发明的示例性可折叠地图袋的便利指引图。应理解的是,可对示例性可折叠地图袋中所描述元件的功能和布置做出各种改变,而不会偏离所附权利要求中阐述的本发明范围。

Claims (10)

1.一种地图袋,所述地图袋用作车辆车门组件的装饰部件,所述地图袋包括:
面向内的基底材料层,所述面向内的基底材料层包括聚乙烯/聚丙烯纤维热成形材料,其中所述纤维热成形材料包括两种材料类型的纤维,即聚乙烯纤维和聚丙烯纤维,所述聚乙烯纤维和聚丙烯纤维既非织造又非针织、而是被混编且铺放成垫形状,其中纤维在垫中随机地定向;以及
面向外的A侧材料层,所述面向外的A侧材料层包括非织造热成形材料,且所述非织造热成形材料设置成邻抵于所述基底材料层。
2.根据权利要求1所述的地图袋,其中,所述地图袋具有一定形状和构造,所述形状和构造包括至少一个基本水平表面和至少一个基本垂直表面,且其中,所述地图袋具有一定形状和构造,所述形状和构件包括至少一个开口端部,以及其中,物体能抵靠于所述至少一个基本水平表面和所述至少一个垂直表面存储在所述至少一个开口端部内。
3.根据权利要求2所述的地图袋,进一步包括凸缘,所述凸缘绕所述至少一个开口端部设置,其中,所述凸缘包括用于接纳紧固件的多个附连点孔口。
4.根据权利要求1所述的地图袋,其中,所述基底材料层具有从500克每平方米至2000克每平方米的密度,以及其中,所述基底材料层具有3至15毫米的厚度。
5.根据权利要求1所述的地图袋,其中,所述基底材料层不包括切口空隙部分,其中,所述切口空隙部分限定为基底层的周界内超过所述基底层的总体表面积5%的空隙。
6.根据权利要求1所述的地图袋,其中,所述基底材料层和所述A侧材料层包括单体双层热成形结构。
7.根据权利要求1所述的地图袋,其中,所述基底材料层中聚乙烯纤维与聚丙烯纤维的比值是从80:20至20:80。
8.一种车辆,包括:
至少一个车门组件,其中,所述至少一个车门组件包括多个装饰部件,其中,所述多个装饰部件的至少一个包括地图袋,以及其中,所述地图袋包括:
面向内的基底材料层,所述面向内的基底材料层包括聚乙烯/聚丙烯纤维热成形材料,其中所述纤维热成形材料包括两种材料类型的纤维,即聚乙烯纤维和聚丙烯纤维,所述聚乙烯纤维和聚丙烯纤维既非织造又非针织、而是被混编且铺放成垫形状,其中纤维在垫中随机地定向;以及
面向外的A侧材料层,所述面向外的A侧材料层包括非织造热成形材料,且所述非织造热成形材料设置成邻抵于所述基底材料层。
9.根据权利要求8所述的车辆,其中,所述基底材料层设置成抵靠于所述至少一个车门组件,且其中,所述A侧材料层面向所述车辆的内部部分,其中,所述地图袋可折叠并且用作阻挡件来用于保护所述车辆的乘客免受侧向撞击碰撞的力影响,以及其中,所述基底材料层能够调节以为所述车辆提供变化水平的侧向撞击保护,而无需对所述地图袋的所述形状或构造做出任何改变。
10.一种用于制造地图袋的方法,所述地图袋用作车辆的装饰部件,所述方法包括如下步骤:
提供或获得基底材料层,所述基底材料层包括聚乙烯/聚丙烯纤维热成形材料,其中所述纤维热成形材料包括两种材料类型的纤维,即聚乙烯纤维和聚丙烯纤维,所述聚乙烯纤维和聚丙烯纤维既非织造又非针织、而是被混编且铺放成垫形状,其中纤维在垫中随机地定向,其中,所述基底材料层中聚乙烯纤维与聚丙烯纤维的比值是从80:20至20:80:
提供或获得A侧材料层,所述A侧材料层包括非织造热成形材料;以及
将所述基底材料层在热成形模具中设置成邻近所述A侧材料层,且粘合剂在所述A侧材料层和所述基底材料层之间,并且使得所述基底材料层与所述A侧材料层热成形,以将所述地图袋形成为单体双层结构。
