Description

Washing article nursing device with lye pump
Technical Field
The invention relates to a washing care appliance with an alkaline liquid pump.
Background
Conventional laundry care appliances for large loads or large batches of laundry have essentially a circulating pumping system, by means of which the washing lye can be pumped out of the lye container and then conveyed again to the lye container. In order to remove the washing lye from the laundry care appliance after the laundry care process, the laundry care appliance also has a pump-out system. In addition to the circulation pumping system and the pump-out system, there may also be a further conveying system for pumping washing liquor in the laundry care appliance. The circulating pumping system, the pumping-out system and the further conveying system require pumps in order to ensure an efficient pumping of the washing lye.
DE 3803615 a1 discloses a program-controlled drum washing machine in which a circulation pump for conveying washing liquid and a laundry spray device for spraying laundry are installed.
DE 1610190 discloses a washing machine having a lye container with a pipe connection for the supply and removal of water, wherein the washing machine has a device for flushing in a detergent.
In GB 1103360 a washing machine with a stirring device is disclosed, which comprises a centrifugal pump with an impeller that can be rotated optionally in one direction or the other in a cylindrical pump housing, wherein the pump housing is provided with a discharge channel for circulating a pumped fluid and a second discharge channel for pumping out the fluid.
In US 2916997 a centrifugal pump is disclosed, which comprises two discharge channels and an impeller, which can be rotated in a first or a second direction. Fluid may be pumped through the discharge passage depending on the direction of rotation of the impeller.
In US 3136254 a pump is disclosed, which comprises an impeller, a large discharge pipe and a small discharge pipe. If the impeller is rotated counterclockwise, water is pumped cyclically through the small discharge pipe, whereas if the impeller is rotated clockwise, water is pumped from the water storage means through the large discharge pipe.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a laundry care appliance having a lye pump or lye pump system which is designed to pump washing lye through different delivery systems or different washing lye circulation systems.
This object is achieved by the subject matter having the features according to the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the contents of the figures, the description and the dependent claims.
According to a first aspect of the invention, this object is achieved by a laundry care appliance having a lye container for receiving washing lye and a lye pump for pumping washing lye, wherein the lye pump has a pump pressure chamber and a first pressure connection for discharging washing lye under pressure which is fluidically connected to the pump pressure chamber, and wherein the lye pump is provided with a variable-speed pump drive for driving the lye pump, wherein a second pressure connection for discharging washing lye under pressure is fluidically connected to the pump pressure chamber, wherein the first and second pressure connections are connected tangentially to the pump pressure chamber.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that two different pressure connections on the pump pressure chamber, in particular on the spiral or ring housing, are provided by the first pressure connection and the second pressure connection which are fluidically connected to the pump pressure chamber, via which two different pressure connections the washing lye can be pumped into two different delivery circuits of the laundry care appliance. The two pressure pipe connections are connected tangentially to the pump pressure chamber, in particular to a spiral or annular housing. However, the orientation of the two pressure pipe connections can also be different, one of the pipe connections being oriented in the clockwise direction and the other pipe connection being oriented in the opposite direction. The different positioning of the two pressure pipe connections makes it possible to feed different delivery circulation systems by reversing the direction of rotation of the pump, i.e. the impeller in the pump pressure chamber feeds one pump pipe connection in the clockwise direction and the other pump pipe connection in the counterclockwise direction with exactly the washing liquid.
In conventional laundry care appliances, the lye pump has only one pressure connection per pump pressure chamber, as is common for conventional centrifugal pumps. The pressure pipe connection can be configured either as a pump-out pressure pipe connection in the pump-out system for pumping out washing lye from the laundry care appliance, as a circulation-pumping pressure pipe connection in the circulation-pumping system for feeding the washing lye circulation pump into the lye container, or the pressure pipe connection can be provided for further systems with new functions.
By the arrangement of two pressure connections per pump pressure chamber, in addition to the pump-out or circulation pumping function of the first pressure connection, a further pumping function in the laundry care appliance can be achieved by the second pressure connection. The further pumping function can comprise a further conveying circuit of the laundry care appliance, by means of which the washing lye can be pumped, for example, into the rinsing-in housing of the laundry care appliance in order to dissolve the residues of the laundry care substance rinsed into the housing, or by means of which the washing lye can be pumped into a storage container for storing the washing lye. Further additional functions can be proposed, for example a drum cleaning program for dissolving calcium salts between wash cycles by means of special flushing devices for the windows, a disinfection cleaning phase, for example with in particular heated water or water vapor between wash cycles, or a fluff flushing program, for example for washing a condenser of a fully automatic dryer, or yet other special functional programs.
By using the second pressure connection of the pump pressure chamber and by reversing the direction of rotation of the pump, additional, costly pump drives can be dispensed with in order to provide additional functions, such as cleaning the flushing-in housing, cleaning the pump filter or the reservoir of washing lye.
By a laundry care appliance is understood an appliance for laundry care, for example a washing machine or a drying machine. The laundry care appliance is understood to be, in particular, a household laundry care appliance. That is to say that the laundry care appliance is used within the framework of home services and the laundry of the usual amount of the home is treated by the laundry care appliance.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the variable-speed pump drive is configured to drive the impeller in a first or second direction of rotation in order to pump washing liquor through the first or second pressure pipe connection depending on the direction of rotation and/or the speed of rotation of the impeller.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the pumping of washing lye through the first pressure pipe connection or through the second pressure pipe connection can be effectively controlled by means of the variable-speed pump drive depending on the direction of rotation of the impeller, the pump speed or the line cross-sectional configuration. It is thereby possible to control whether the washing lye is pumped through the first pressure connection or through the second pressure connection or through both pressure connections simultaneously by means of only one single pump drive, whereby additional pump drives can be dispensed with. For this purpose, it is achieved in the case of radial centrifugal pumps that the device characteristic curve is adapted to the rotation-direction-dependent throttle characteristic curve in the design phase, so that, for example, the rotation-direction-dependent pump can not convey wash liquor through the inactive pressure pipe connections.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the lye pump has a further pump pressure chamber and a third pressure connection fluidically connected to the further pump pressure chamber for discharging the washing lye under pressure, in particular a pump-out connection for pumping out the washing lye or a circulation pump connection for feeding the washing lye circulation pump into the lye container.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a further transport circulation system for the laundry care appliance can be provided by means of a further pump pressure chamber having a third pressure connection. The third pressure pipe connection may in particular comprise a circulation pumping pipe connection for feeding the washing lye circulation pump into the lye container.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, a fourth pressure line connection for the discharge of washing liquid under pressure is fluidically connected to the further pump pressure chamber.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a fourth pressure connection, which is fluidically connected to the further pump pressure chamber, can ensure that the fourth pressure connection is connected to a further transport circuit of the laundry care appliance. The washing lye can thus be pumped through a total of four conveying circulation systems in the laundry care appliance via the first and second pressure connection of the pump pressure chamber and the third and fourth pressure connection of the further pump pressure chamber.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the lye pump has a further variable-speed pump drive for driving the lye pump, wherein the further variable-speed pump drive is designed to drive the impeller in the first or second direction of rotation in order to pump wash lye through the third pressure connection or the fourth connection depending on the direction of rotation and/or the speed of rotation of the impeller.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the pumping of washing lye through the third pressure connection or through the fourth connection can be effectively controlled or regulated by means of the variable-speed pump drive depending on the direction of rotation and/or the speed of rotation of the impeller. Whether the pump is operated via the third pressure connection or via the fourth pressure connection can be controlled by only one pump drive, so that an additional pump drive in the lye pump can be dispensed with.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the variable-speed pump drive or the further variable-speed pump drive comprises an electric motor, in particular a brushless direct current motor (BLDC motor) or a permanently excited brushless synchronous motor.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that an efficient and effective pumping operation of the lye pump can be driven by an electric motor, in particular a brushless dc motor, since the electric drive can be driven with variable rotational speed.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the lye pump has a suction chamber and a suction connection fluidically connected to the suction chamber, wherein the suction chamber is fluidically connected to a corresponding pump pressure chamber of the lye pump.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that an effective suction of the washing lye into the suction chamber is ensured by the suction connection which is fluidically connected to the suction chamber. The washing lye pumped through the suction chamber can be pumped or pumped particularly effectively into the respective pump pressure chamber by being connected fluidically to the respective pump pressure chamber.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, a separating wall is arranged between the suction chamber and the respective pump pressure chamber.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that an effective delimitation between the suction chamber and the respective pump pressure chamber is ensured by the partition wall, so that foreign bodies are left in the suction chamber and do not influence the pumping function in the pump pressure chamber, i.e. the rotation of the impeller.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the third or fourth pressure pipe connection is connected tangentially to the further pump pressure chamber.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a particularly efficient, flow-optimized pumping of the washing lye through the respective pressure pipe connections is achieved by the third or fourth pressure pipe connection being arranged tangentially on the further pump pressure chamber. If space-related realization is possible, the additional pump pressure chambers can be arranged on a common suction chamber and have a variable-speed pump drive and two tangential pressure connections, in particular fifth and sixth pressure connections, wherein fifth and sixth additional functions are ensured by the fifth and sixth pressure connections. When space-related realization is possible, it can therefore be provided that n pressure chambers with 2n pressure connections for 2n specific cleaning functions are arranged on a large common suction chamber.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the lye pump has a horizontal plane which extends horizontally in the pump housing of the lye pump, wherein the horizontal plane extends from one longitudinal side of the pump housing to the other longitudinal side of the pump housing, wherein at least one of the pressure pipe connections is inclined relative to the horizontal plane at a pipe connection angle, in particular at a pipe connection angle of between 1 ° and 180 °.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the pressure connections of the pressure chamber are continuously vented by the at least one pressure connection, in particular all pressure connections, being inclined with respect to the horizontal, so that the lye pump can always be started up with the filled pressure chamber.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the lye pump has a pump pressure chamber and a first pressure connection and a second pressure connection which are fluidically connected to the pump pressure chamber for discharging washing lye under pressure, and has a further pump pressure chamber and a third pressure connection and a fourth pressure connection which are fluidically connected to the further pump pressure chamber for discharging washing lye under pressure, wherein the second pressure connection is assigned to the first conveying circuit and wherein the fourth pressure connection is assigned to the second conveying circuit.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a total of four circulation systems for conveying washing lye in the laundry care appliance can be realized by the two pump pressure chambers of the lye pump, each of which has two pressure connections. One pressure line connection of the pressure line connections of the two pump pressure chambers is fluidically connected to a pump-out system for pumping out the washing lye from the laundry care appliance or a circulation pump-out system for feeding the washing lye circulation pump into the lye container, or performs a further function. A fluidic connection to the first conveying circuit system via the second pressure connection or to the second conveying circuit system via the fourth pressure connection makes it possible to realize two further conveying circuit systems having different functions in addition to the pump-out system or the circulating pump system.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the first pressure pipe connection comprises a pump-out pipe connection for pumping out the washing lye from the laundry care appliance, which is fluidically connected to the pump-out line, and the third pressure pipe connection comprises a circulation pump-out pipe connection for conveying the washing lye circulation pump into the lye container, wherein the circulation pump-out pipe connection is fluidically connected to the lye container.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the first pressure line connection comprises a pump-out line connection for pumping out washing lye from the laundry care appliance, and the third pressure line connection comprises a circulating pump-in line connection for conveying the washing lye circulating pump into the lye container, whereby a particularly effective pumping-out or circulating pumping-in is achieved by the respective pressure line connection.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance has a wash-in housing for receiving the laundry care substance, wherein the wash-in housing is fluidically connected to the second pressure connection or the fourth pressure connection, wherein the lye pump is designed to pump wash lye through the second pressure connection or through the fourth pressure connection into the wash-in housing in order to dissolve residues of the laundry care substance flushed into the housing.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the washing lye can be pumped into the flushing housing by the lye pump by means of the fluid connection of the flushing housing to the second pressure connection or the fourth pressure connection. Thus, the detergent residues can be removed from the contaminated wash-in housing, thereby achieving effective cleaning of the wash-in housing.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance has a storage container for storing the washing lye, wherein the storage container is fluidically connected to the second pressure pipe connection or the fourth pressure pipe connection, and the lye pump is designed to pump the washing lye into the storage container via the second pressure pipe connection or via the fourth pressure pipe connection, in order to store the pumped washing lye in the storage container, and in order to use the stored washing lye during a subsequent washing cycle.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the washing lye can be pumped into the flushing housing by the lye pump by means of the fluid-technical connection of the storage container to the second pressure connection or the fourth pressure connection. Thus, the washing lye provided during the washing process can be stored in the storage container, whereby the stored washing lye can be used again during a subsequent washing care process of the laundry care appliance.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a washer dryer having a condenser for condensing water, wherein the condenser is fluidically connected to the second pressure pipe connection or the fourth pressure pipe connection, and the lye pump is designed to pump washing lye into the condenser via the second pressure pipe connection or via the fourth pressure pipe connection in order to clean the condenser or in order to cool the condenser in order to accelerate the condensation process.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the washing lye can be pumped into the condenser by the lye pump by means of a fluid-technical connection of the condenser of the washing and drying machine to the second pressure connection or the fourth pressure connection. The condenser can be cleaned effectively by pumped washing lye or cooled effectively to accelerate the condensation process.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a generic laundry care appliance 100, for example a washing machine. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a rinsing housing 101 into which a detergent or other liquid substance can be injected. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a door 103 for loading laundry into the laundry care appliance 100.
Fig. 2 shows a view of the circulating pumping system 105 in the laundry care appliance 100 with a washing drum 107 for receiving the laundry, a lye container 109 for receiving the washing lye, which lye container comprises an inlet 111 and an outlet 113. Inlet 111 is connected to exhaust 113 by conduit 115. The line 115 comprises a lye pump 117 which can either pump wash lye out of the lye container 109 through the discharge outlet 113 and into the lye container 109 through the inlet 111 once more during the circulating pumping process or can pump wash lye out of the circulating pumping system 105 through the pump-out line 119 during the pumping-out process.
Fig. 3 shows a schematic representation of the lye pump in a side view. The lye pump 117 comprises a suction chamber 121 into which wash lye can be sucked from the line 115 through a suction connection 123. The lye pump 117 comprises a pump pressure chamber 125 from which pumped washing lye having an increased pressure can be output through a first pressure connection 127. The first pressure connection 127 can in particular comprise a pump-out connection in order to pump out the washing lye from the laundry care appliance 100. A second pressure connection 129 is arranged on the pump pressure chamber 125, through which the pumped washing lye having an increased pressure can be output onto the second conveying circulation system. The lye pump 117 comprises a further pump pressure chamber 131 from which pumped washing lye having an increased pressure can be output through a third pressure connection 133. The third pressure pipe connection 133 may in particular comprise a circulation pumping pipe connection in order to feed the washing lye circulation pump into the lye container 109. A fourth pressure connection 135 is provided on the further pump pressure chamber 131, via which the pumped washing lye having an increased pressure can be discharged onto the second, or third or fourth conveying circulation system. The suction chamber 121, the pump pressure chamber 125 and the further pump pressure chamber 131 are only schematically shown in fig. 3.
The lye pump 117 has a variable-speed pump drive 137, which is only schematically illustrated in fig. 3 and which is designed for variably driving an impeller in a first or second direction of rotation and/or in rotational speed in order to pump wash lye through the first pressure connection 127 or the second pressure connection 129 depending on the direction of rotation of the impeller. The lye pump 117 has a further variable-speed pump drive 139, which is only schematically illustrated in fig. 3 and which is configured to drive the impeller in a first or second direction of rotation in order to pump wash lye through the third pressure pipe connection 133 or the fourth pressure pipe connection 135 depending on the direction of rotation and/or the speed of rotation of the impeller. The pump drive 137 and the further pump drive 139 are designed as rotationally aligned and variable-speed pump drives 137, 139, and in particular comprise a brushless direct current motor (BLDC motor) or a permanently excited brushless synchronous motor.
A total of four circulation systems are thus realized by means of a total of four pressure connections 127, 129, 133, 135, by means of which four functions are realized in the lye pump 117. The first pressure connection 127 can comprise a pump-out connection which is fluidically connected to the pump-out line 119 in order to pump out the washing lye from the laundry care appliance 100. The third pressure pipe connection 133 may comprise a circulation pumping pipe connection which is fluidically connected to the circulation pumping pipe 115 for circulating the washing lye circulation pump into the lye container 109. The second pressure connection 129 can be fluidically connected to the first conveying circuit system, and the fourth pressure connection 135 can be fluidically connected to the second conveying circuit system. Depending on the geometric hydraulic configuration of the respective line, the first or second delivery circuit may have a smaller delivery flow or delivery pressure than the line to which the first or third pressure connection 127, 133 is fluidically connected. Different functions may be provided for the first or second delivery circulation systems. For example, the first or second delivery circuit can be provided with a filling of the water tank, for example in a frame which retains the flushing water of the last flushing operation in order to save water in the next washing operation, or with other flushing or cleaning functions. The contaminated wash-in housing 101 can be cleaned or cleaned of detergent residues, for example, by the first or second conveying circuit. For example, the condenser may alternatively be cleaned by water in a washer-dryer or cooled by water in order to accelerate the drying process.
By means of the solution according to the invention, no additional, costly pump drives 137, 139 are required in order to produce additional functions. For example, the flushing housing 101 can be cleaned without additional water being supplied from the outside via the appliance solenoid valve. The backflush function for the automatic cleaning phase of the pump filter or spray nozzle of the recirculating pumping system 105 is implemented without the user having to manually intervene. No foreign-matter and/or fluff-sensitive switching valves are required in order to provide additional functionality. One or two pumps can thus be used for two to four functions, whereby a functional extension is achieved without increasing the component complexity. No additional electronics or other expenditure is required for the new function extension, since the change in the motor direction of the pump drives 137, 139 can be changed by software.
All the features described and shown in connection with the individual embodiments of the invention can be provided in the subject-matter according to the invention in different combinations in order to achieve the advantageous effects of the features at the same time.
The scope of protection of the invention is derived from the claims and is not limited to the features described in the description or shown in the drawings.
