Description

Laundry care appliance with control device
Technical Field
The invention relates to a laundry care appliance with a control device.
Background
In order to ensure an advantageous laundry care process, in conventional laundry care appliances, washing liquor is supplied to the lye container of the laundry care appliance. During a laundry care process, the washing drum of the laundry care appliance is rotated by a drum drive at a rotational speed in order to ensure advantageous wetting of the laundry in the washing drum. Since the washing liquid in the lye container provides the washing drum with increased resistance, the drum drive consumes an increased force to rotate the washing drum filled with laundry, thereby increasing the overall energy consumption of the laundry care appliance.
DE 3401899 a1 discloses a washing machine having a pump for conveying washing liquid into a drain opening and a rinsing water drain opening.
DE 102014207742 a1 discloses a method for operating a washing machine, wherein the method comprises adding a treatment lye to the laundry in the washing drum.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a laundry care appliance in which an advantageous and energy-efficient laundry care process can be carried out.
This object is achieved by a subject matter having the features according to the invention. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the technical solution, the description and the figures of the present invention.
According to one aspect, the object is achieved according to the invention by a laundry care appliance having: a lye container for receiving washing liquor, wherein a pressure detection device is arranged in the lye container, which pressure detection device is designed for detecting the pressure of the washing liquor in the lye container, wherein a washing drum for receiving the laundry is arranged in the lye container; a drum driving device for rotating the washing drum; the washing liquid conveying device is used for conveying the washing liquid into the alkali liquor container; a pump for pumping washing liquid out of the lye container and a control device for controlling the drum drive, the washing liquid feed device and the pump, wherein the control device is designed to activate the washing liquid feed device during a first time period in order to feed washing liquid into the lye container and to activate the drum drive device in order to rotate the washing drum at a first rotational speed and to wet the laundry in the washing drum with the fed washing liquid, wherein the control device is designed to activate the pump at the end of the first time period in order to pump washing liquid out of the lye container and out of the laundry care appliance when the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container remains constant during the detection time period, wherein the control device is designed to deactivate the pump and the washing liquid feed device during a second time period following the first time period, and activating the drum drive in order to rotate the washing drum at the second rotational speed and to wet the laundry in the washing drum with the washing liquid received in the laundry.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a favorable laundry care of the laundry in the washing drum is ensured by the laundry care process during the first and second time periods. Since the pump and the washing liquid delivery means are deactivated during the second period of time, the energy consumption of the washing care appliance can be significantly reduced.
During the laundry care process, after a certain time, a balance is achieved between the laundry care agent concentration in the laundry and the laundry care agent concentration outside the laundry in the drum. The equilibrium can be recognized in that the pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container, which is detected by the pressure detection device, no longer drops, but remains constant. Since the laundry has the same concentration of the laundry care agent in the equilibrium state as the supplied washing liquid, it is not necessarily necessary to supply additional washing liquid to the lye container after the equilibrium state has been reached.
After reaching the equilibrium state, the free washing liquid which is not bound to the items of laundry can be pumped out by the pump at the end of the first time period. Since the amount of washing liquid in the lye container is thereby reduced, the drum drive during the second time period must rotate the washing drum filled with laundry exclusively by the reduced amount of washing liquid incorporated in the laundry. This can significantly reduce the energy consumption of the laundry care appliance and avoid overheating the motor of the drum drive. Furthermore, the laundry can be turned over particularly advantageously in the rotating washing drum by reducing the amount of washing liquid in the washing-liquor container during the second time period. Here, the cleaning efficiency of the laundry care process is not reduced.
By laundry care appliance is understood an appliance for laundry care, for example a washing machine or a laundry dryer. The laundry care appliance is understood to be, in particular, a household laundry care appliance. Namely laundry care appliances which are used in the area of home care services and by means of which the usual amount of laundry in the household is treated.
In an advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to activate the pump at the end of the first time period in order to pump washing liquid out of the lye container and out of the laundry care appliance when the detected average value during the detected pressure value detection time period corresponds to the comparatively average value of the detected pressure value during the comparison time period, wherein the detection time period is connected to the comparison time period.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the control device can in particular advantageously determine when the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container remains constant. The pressure detection device detects a plurality of pressure values during a comparison time period and a detection time period following the comparison time period. The control device determines a comparison mean value from a plurality of pressure values detected during the comparison period. The control device here determines a detection mean value from a plurality of pressure values detected during the detection time period. The control device now compares the detection mean value with the comparison mean value. When the detected average value corresponds to the comparison average value, the control device can advantageously determine that the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container is kept constant. In a further embodiment, the control device can advantageously determine that the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container is kept constant when the detected average lies within a tolerance range of the comparison average. The control device may then activate the pump at the end of the first time period in order to pump washing liquid out of the lye container.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to activate the pump at the end of the first time period, so that washing liquid is pumped out of the laundry care appliance and out of the laundry care appliance when the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container does not exceed the upper pressure threshold and does not fall below the lower pressure threshold during the detection time period.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the control device can particularly advantageously determine when the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container remains constant. The upper pressure threshold value and the lower pressure threshold value differ from one another only to a small extent in this case, so that it is ensured that the detected pressure values lying between the upper pressure threshold value and the lower pressure threshold value likewise differ from one another only to a small extent, so that the control device can detect a constant pressure during the detection time period. In a further embodiment, the control device itself can be designed to determine the upper and lower pressure thresholds within the scope of the reference laundry care course, or both pressure thresholds can be predefined in the setting of the laundry care appliance.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a program selection device for selecting a laundry care program of the laundry care appliance, wherein the control device is designed to determine the duration of the detection time period and the comparison time period or the upper pressure threshold value and the lower pressure threshold value as a function of the selected laundry care program.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a particularly reliable determination of the duration of the detection time period and the comparison time period or of the respective pressure threshold value is achieved. Since the duration of the detection time period and the comparison time period or the respective pressure threshold value can be correlated with different parameters, such as, for example, the type of laundry, the quantity of laundry, the degree of soiling of the laundry, and the like, the control device can be provided with further information by selecting a particular laundry care program, which enables the control device to determine the duration of the respective time period or the respective pressure threshold value particularly advantageously.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the first rotational speed and the second rotational speed are identical and in particular have a value of between 40 revolutions per minute and 60 revolutions per minute.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the same first and second rotational speeds ensure that the transition between the first and second time periods is simplified, since the control device can operate the drum drive at the same rotational speed in both time periods. A first rotational speed and a second rotational speed of between 40 revolutions per minute and 60 revolutions per minute, in particular 50 revolutions per minute, are particularly advantageous here. In a further embodiment, when the first rotational speed and the second rotational speed are different, a first rotational speed and a second rotational speed of between 40 revolutions per minute and 60 revolutions per minute may likewise be advantageous.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to deactivate the pump during the second time period if the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container is below a minimum pressure threshold value.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that it is ensured that the pump operates non-dry and is therefore not damaged. The minimum pressure threshold is selected sufficiently high here to ensure that the pump is deactivated in time before dry operation.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to end the second time period after reaching the maximum duration, wherein the control device is designed in particular to determine the maximum duration of the second time period as a function of the second rotational speed.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the end of the second time period after the elapse of the maximum duration ensures that the laundry care substances present in the laundry are not washed out of the laundry and that a sufficient laundry care effect can thereby be ensured.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance comprises a program selection device for selecting a laundry care program of the laundry care appliance, wherein the control device is designed to determine the maximum duration of the second time period in dependence on the selected laundry care program.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the maximum duration of the second time period can be advantageously determined as a function of the selected laundry care program in such a way that the duration of the second time period can be optimized with regard to a particularly advantageous laundry care effect.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the washing liquid delivery device has a delivery line and a delivery valve, wherein the delivery valve is designed to fluidically block the delivery line in a first valve position and fluidically open the delivery line in a second valve position in order to deliver washing liquid through the delivery line to the lye container, wherein the control device is designed to switch the delivery valve into the second valve position during a first period of time in order to introduce washing liquid through the delivery line into the lye container, wherein the control device is designed to switch the delivery valve into the first valve position during a second period of time in order to fluidically block the delivery line.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that the control device ensures particularly advantageous control of the amount of washing liquid supplied by controlling the delivery valve of the washing liquid delivery device.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to activate the washing liquid feed device during a third time interval following the second time interval in order to feed the washing liquid into the lye container and to activate the drum drive device in order to rotate the washing drum at a third rotational speed.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a particularly effective rinsing of the laundry in the washing drum is ensured by the activation of the washing liquid delivery device after the end of the second time period. The third rotational speed can in one embodiment be greater than the second rotational speed during the second time period in order to ensure effective rinsing of the laundry.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the control device is designed to activate the pump during a third time period in order to pump washing liquid out of the lye container.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that rinsing of the laundry care substance out of the laundry is achieved after the end of the second time period by activating the pump during the rinsing process.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the laundry care appliance has a heating device for heating the washing liquid in the lye container, and the control device is designed to activate the heating device during the first and second periods of time in order to heat the washing liquid in the lye container.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a particularly effective dissolution of the laundry care substance is achieved by heating the washing liquid and the efficiency of the laundry care process can also be increased.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the laundry care appliance, the lye container comprises an outlet opening and an inlet nozzle, wherein the outlet opening is connected to the inlet nozzle by a fluid-conducting line, wherein the pump is arranged in the line and is designed to pump washing liquid out of the lye container through the outlet opening and to pump the pumped-out washing liquid back into the washing drum arranged in the lye container through the line and through the inlet nozzle, wherein the control device is designed to activate the pump during a first time period during a circulating pumping process in order to pump the input washing liquid out of the lye container through the outlet opening and to re-feed it to the lye container through the inlet nozzle in order to re-wet the laundry in the washing drum with the washing liquid, wherein the control device is designed to activate the pump during the pumping-out process at the end of the first time period, so that washing liquid is pumped out of the lye container and out of the laundry care appliance when the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container is kept constant during the detection period.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that corresponding control is also achieved in a laundry care appliance having a recirculating pumping system during the recirculating pumping process. The pump can be activated during the first period of time during a circulating pumping process in order to circulate the incoming washing liquid and to re-deliver the circulated washing liquid to the laundry in the washing drum. At the end of the first time period, when the detected pressure remains constant, the pump pumps the washing liquid out of the lye container and out of the laundry care appliance during the pumping-out process.
According to a second aspect of the invention, the object is achieved by a method for treating laundry in a laundry care appliance, wherein the laundry care appliance has: a lye container for receiving washing liquor, wherein a pressure detection device is arranged in the lye container, which pressure detection device is designed for detecting the pressure of the washing liquor in the lye container, wherein a washing drum for receiving the laundry is arranged in the lye container; a drum driving device for rotating the washing drum; the washing liquid conveying device is used for conveying the washing liquid into the alkali liquor container; a pump for pumping washing liquid out of the lye container and control means for controlling the drum drive, the washing liquid delivery means and the pump, wherein the method comprises the steps of: activating, by the control device, the washing liquid feed device during a first time period in order to feed the washing liquid into the lye container and the drum drive device in order to rotate the washing drum at a first rotational speed in order to wet the laundry in the washing drum with the fed washing liquid; activating the pump by the control device at the end of the first time period, so as to pump washing liquid out of the lye container and out of the laundry care appliance, when the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container remains constant during the detection time period; deactivating, by the control device, the pump and the wash liquor delivery device during a second time period that is consecutive to the first time period; and activating the drum drive during a second time period in order to rotate the washing drum at a second rotational speed and to wet the laundry in the washing drum with the washing liquid received in the laundry.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that a particularly efficient and energy-saving laundry care is ensured in a laundry care appliance by the method.
In one advantageous embodiment, the method further comprises the following steps: the washing liquid conveying device and the drum drive device are activated during a third time period following the second time period, so that the washing liquid is conveyed to the lye container and the washing drum is rotated at a third rotational speed.
The technical advantage achieved thereby is that an effective rinsing of the laundry is ensured during the third time period.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a conventional laundry care appliance 100, for example a washing machine. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a rinsing housing 101, into which a detergent or other liquid substance can be introduced. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a door 103 for loading the laundry care appliance 100 with laundry.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic view of a circulation pumping system of a laundry care appliance with a circulation pumping device. The laundry care appliance 100 has a lye container 105 for receiving washing liquid and a washing drum 107 for receiving laundry. The washing drum 107 has a drum bottom side 109 and is driven by a drum drive 111 by means of a drive connection 113. The lye container 105 has a discharge opening 115 which is connected to a fluid-conducting line 117. A pump 119 for pumping washing liquid is arranged in the line 117, which pump is designed to pump washing liquid out of the laundry care appliance 100 through the discharge opening 115, through the first line section 121 of the line 117 and through the pump-out line 123 during a pump-out process.
Thus, the pump 119 can also perform a circulating pumping function, the pump 119 being fluidically connected to the inlet nozzle 127 of the lye container 105 via the second line section 125 of the line 117. During the circulating pumping process, the pump 119 pumps washing liquid from the lye container 105 through the discharge opening 115 into the first pipe section 121 of the pipe 117 and conveys the pumped washing liquid through the second pipe section 125 of the pipe 117 and through the inlet nozzle 127 to the lye container 105 and the washing drum 107 arranged therein. In this way, fresh washing liquid can be effectively recirculated through the line 117 and recirculated to the laundry in the washing drum 107 during the laundry care process. The laundry care effect during the laundry care process can thereby be improved.
The pump 119 can be used in a laundry care appliance 100 according to the invention with a circulating pumping system according to fig. 2. Alternatively, the pump 119 can be used in an article-care appliance 100 according to the invention without a circulation pumping system, wherein the second line section 125 and the inlet nozzle 127 are not present in this case, and the pump 119 pumps washing liquid out of the article-care appliance 100 through the outlet opening 115, through the first line section 121 and through the pump-out line 123 during the pumping-out process.
The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a control device 129 which is connected to the pump 119 via a first control connection 131 and to the drum drive 111 via a second control connection 133 in order to control the pump 119 and the drum drive 111. The control device 129 is also connected via a third control connection 135 to a washing liquid feed 137 for feeding washing liquid via a feed line 139 into the lye container 105. The control device 129 is designed to control the supply of washing liquid to the lye container 105 by means of the washing liquid supply device 137.
Fig. 3 shows a diagram of a laundry care process in a laundry care appliance according to an embodiment. Fig. 3 shows a time diagram of the liquid level of the washing liquid in the lye container 105, the water pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container 105, the water temperature of the washing liquid in the lye container 105 and the rotational speed of the washing drum 107, which are plotted along the ordinate axis 141 in terms of time, which is given along the abscissa axis 143.
The first curve 145 represents a variation of the level of the washing liquid in the lye container 105. The second curve 147 represents the variation curve of the rotation speed of the washing drum 107. The third curve 149 represents the washing liquid pressure profile of the washing liquid in the lye container 105. The fourth curve 151 shows the change in the temperature of the washing liquid in the lye container 105.
The washing process shown in fig. 3 has a first time period 153, a second time period 155 following the first time period, and a third time period 157 following the second time period.
At the beginning of the first time period 153, the control device 129 activates the washing liquid feed device 137 in order to feed washing liquid into the lye container 105, as a result of which the liquid level of the washing liquid in the lye container 105 rises as shown in the first curve 145. As shown in the fourth curve 151, the temperature of the washing liquid is increased by activating the heating element by the control device 129 at the beginning of the first time period 153. Furthermore, the control device 129 activates the drum drive 111 in order to rotate the washing drum 107, as indicated by the second curve 147, at a first rotational speed during the first time period 153, wherein the first rotational speed in particular has a value of between 40 rpm and 60 rpm, in particular 50 rpm.
The input of washing liquid ensures that the laundry in the washing drum 107 is completely wetted during the first time period 153. During the first time period 153, an equilibrium between the concentration of the washing liquid in the laundry and the concentration of the washing liquid outside the laundry occurs, whereby the washing liquid pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container 105 drops as shown by the third curve 149 until the washing liquid pressure has a constant value at the end of the first time period 153.
In order to be able to effectively determine the end of the first time period 153, the control device 129 determines whether the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container 105 remains constant during the detection time period 159.
To this end, the control device 129 may compare the detected average of the pressure values detected during the detection period 159 with a comparative average of the pressure values detected during the comparison period 161. Here, the comparison time segment 161 precedes the detection time segment 159 in time and the two time segments 159, 161 can in particular have the same duration.
Alternatively or additionally, when the detected pressure does not exceed the upper pressure threshold and is not below the lower pressure threshold during the detection period 159, the control device 129 may determine whether the detected pressure of the wash liquid in the lye container 105 remains constant during the detection period 159.
In this case, the control device 129 can determine the duration of the detection time period 159 and the comparison time period 161 or the upper pressure threshold value and the lower pressure threshold value, in particular, depending on the selected laundry care program of the laundry care appliance 100.
Once the control device 129 determines that the detected pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container 105 remains constant during the detection time period 159, the control device 129 activates the pump 119 in order to pump the washing liquid out of the lye container 105 and out of the laundry care appliance 100. This is shown in fig. 3 at the end of the first time period 153, since the detected pressure of the washing liquid drops very strongly as shown in the third curve 149.
Next, the control means 129 deactivates the pump 119 and the washing liquid delivery means 137 at the beginning of a second period 155, which is continued from the first period 153. By pumping out the free washing liquid which is not bound to the laundry and stopping the supply of washing liquid, the laundry care appliance 100 is only still supplied with washing liquid which is bound to the laundry during the second time period 155 which is subsequent to the first time period 153. The laundry care appliance 100 used in the home is sufficient for achieving a good laundry care effect by the washing liquid combined with the laundry.
In this case, the control device 129 activates the drum drive 111 during a second time period 155, which rotates the washing drum 107 at a second rotational speed, as indicated by a second curve 147, wherein the second rotational speed in particular corresponds to the first rotational speed and in particular has a value of between 40 and 60 revolutions per minute, in particular 50 revolutions per minute.
When the maximum duration is reached, the control device 129 ends the second time period 155, wherein the control device 129 can determine the maximum duration in particular as a function of the second rotational speed and/or as a function of the type of laundry care program selected by the user.
The third time period 157 follows the second time period 155, during which the flushing process takes place. At the beginning of the third time period 157, the control device 129 reactivates the washing liquid feed device 137, as a result of which the washing liquid is fed into the lye container 105 and, as is indicated by the first curve 145 and the third curve 149, both the liquid level and the pressure of the washing liquid in the lye container 105 rise. At the beginning of the third time period 157, the control device 129 can also activate the drum drive 111, as a result of which the washing drum 107 is operated at a third rotational speed, which can be greater than the second rotational speed, in order to ensure effective spin-drying of the laundry in the washing drum 107, as indicated by the second curve 147.
The fourth time period 163 and the fifth time period 165 can be connected to the third time period 157, during which the rinsing process of the third time period 157 is repeated or it is ensured that the laundry is finally spun dry.
By deactivating the pump 119 and the washing liquid delivery device 137 during the second time period 155, the current consumption of the laundry care appliance 100 can be significantly reduced. Furthermore, overheating of the motor of the drum drive 111 can be avoided, since the motor only has to consume a smaller force for rotating the washing drum 107. By virtue of the fact that no free washing liquid is present in the lye container 105 during the second period 155, it is also possible to ensure a particularly advantageous tumbling of the laundry in the washing drum 107 when rotating the washing drum 107.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic illustration of a method 200 for treating laundry in a laundry care appliance 100, which is described with reference to the embodiments of fig. 2 and 3.
