技术领域
本发明涉及一种尤其用于机动车的车轮轴承单元。
背景技术
车轮轴承由外环和车轮轴承毂和在其之间设置的滚动体构成。车轮轴承毂具有指向径向外部的车轮凸缘,在所述车轮凸缘上例如能够固定车轮。在特定的行驶状况中,例如在行驶通过坑洼或者行驶到路边石上时,轴向的或径向的撞击作用于车轮凸缘或车轮轴承毂。所述撞击造成,车轮凸缘/车轮轴承毂朝向车轮轴承单元的外环的方向运动并且撞击到其上。在此出现的力随后被导入到滚动轴承中。
从EP 2 184 181 B1中已知一种车轮轴承单元,所述车轮轴承单元具有车轮毂,所述车轮毂带有车轮凸缘。在外环和车轮毂之间设置有滚动轴承。在所描述的车轮轴承单元中,通过特定的间隙宽度避免滚动轴承由于侧向撞击而损坏。
发明内容
本发明基于如下目的,提供一种车轮轴承单元,所述车轮轴承单元在撞击作用于车轮轴承单元时减少滚动轴承的损坏,并且此外确保轴承的可靠的密封。
根据本发明,所述目的通过一种车轮轴承单元来实现,所述车轮轴承单元具有外部的环形元件和内部的环形元件,在所述外部的环形元件和内部的环形元件之间设置有至少两个滚动体排,其中内部的环形元件具有径向凸缘,所述径向凸缘能够固定在车轴体上或车轮上,并且在径向凸缘侧,在外部的环形元件和内部的环形元件之间设有密封件,其中密封件具有承载元件,其中外部的环形元件的朝向径向凸缘的端面具有至少一个突出部。
本发明基于如下知识,在特定的行驶状况下,例如在行驶通过坑洼或行驶到路边石上时,轴向的和径向的撞击作用于车轮轴承单元。所述撞击造成,内部的环形元件或径向凸缘接触外部的环形元件。在根据本发明的车轮轴承单元中,外部的环形元件的朝向径向凸缘的端面具有至少一个突出部。所述突出部构成为,使得在内部的环形元件或径向凸缘被轴向或径向撞击时,所述突出部吸收并且导出由此作用的力,以便避免滚动轴承和/或滚道的损坏。与现有技术不同的是地,这种构造意味着更高的生产成本,然而所述构造总体上引起车轮轴承单元的使用寿命的提高。
外部的环形元件的端面能够具有一个或多个突出部,所述突出部在环周上分布地设置。如果外部的环形元件同样具有径向凸缘,所述径向凸缘带有孔,那么一个突出部或多个突出部能够根据孔定向地设置。此外,本发明能够涉及一种车轮轴承单元,其具有一排或多排呈X形或O形布置的滚动体。滚动体在此能够具有相同或不同的直径和/或构成不同的滚动轴承类型。
优选地,至少一个突出部在端面上构成为环段。这表示,至少一个突出部不沿环周方向在端面的整个环形面上延伸,而是沿环周方向仅在端面的子部段上延伸。如果设有多个突出部,那么这些突出部沿环周方向分布地设置在端面上。这具有如下优点:根据车轮轴承单元的实施方式、存在的结构空间和要求能够设有一个或多个所述突出部。
根据本发明的一个设计方案,密封件的承载元件的部段构成突出部。在此,承载元件构成为并且定位成,使得所述承载元件作为至少一个突出部沿着外部的环形元件的端面延伸,或者作为区段在外部的环形元件的端面上延伸。承载元件优选能够构成为板件,然而也能够由其他金属或非金属的材料构成。这种构成方案具有如下优点:原有的密封件的承载板构成预密封件,所述预密封件如迷宫式密封件那样设置。这引起:能够减少或防止污物,如例如雨水或灰尘,从外部侵入到轴承中或侵入至其他密封件。所述构造总体上引起改进的密封效果,进而引起车轮轴承单元的使用寿命的提高。

根据本发明的一个设计方案,承载元件能够具有至少一个密封唇。对此,间接地或直接地连接于承载板的第二部段的其他部段能够具有至少一个密封唇。至少一个密封唇优选由弹性体材料制造,并且硫化连接到承载板上。至少一个密封唇在此滑动地、直接或间接地贴靠在内部的环形元件或其径向凸缘上。为了改进的密封效果,设有多个密封唇,所述密封唇能够轴向地和径向地构成。
在本发明的一个替选的设计方案中,至少一个突出部具有覆层。覆层能够用于降低出现的噪声。

图1示出根据一个实施方式的车轮轴承单元1,所述车轮轴承单元与未示出的车辆车轮相关联。车轮轴承单元1包括外部的环形元件2和内部的环形元件3。内部的环形元件3具有径向凸缘4,所述径向凸缘能够固定在未进一步示出的车轮或车轴体上。此外,车轮轴承装置具有两个轴向间隔开的滚动体排5、6,所述滚动体排的滚动体在外侧在外部的环形元件2中被引导。在内侧,滚动体排5的滚动体直接在内部的环形元件3的滚道中被引导,并且滚动体排6的滚动体在内环7中被引导,所述内环固定在内部的环形元件3上。
