The cotton feeding mode of the combing machine is front feeding cotton, and the front feeding cotton is that a cotton feeding pawl toggles a cotton feeding ratchet wheel 17 to rotate by one tooth when a jaw of an upper nipper 7 and a jaw of a lower nipper 6 clamp a cotton layer 19 to move forwards.
(3) Determination of the number of teeth of the cotton feeding ratchet 17
The cotton feeding amount of the cotton feeding roller 4 is regulated by the number of teeth of a cotton feeding ratchet wheel, the more the number of teeth of the cotton feeding ratchet wheel is, the shorter the length of the cotton feeding ratchet wheel is, and in the combing and carding cycle, the more times of carding of a small tendril (within the unit length range) are, and the effect is equivalent to that of combing more neps, impurities and short piles from a small roll, so that the quality of a combed cotton layer is improved, the actual yield of combing is reduced, but as the demand of society for the quality of products is increasingly increased, 22 teeth, 23 teeth and 24 teeth are more suitable.
(4) Use of cotton supporting plate of lower nipper
The function of the cotton supporting plate 8 is to be matched with the arc-shaped plate 5, so that the cotton layer 19 horizontally passes through, the cotton layer 19 normally enters into a jaw between the lower nipper 6 and the upper nipper 7, the cotton supporting plate is only an auxiliary part, and is fixedly stuck on the nipper by using inlet glue, and the thickness of the cotton supporting plate of the lower nipper 6 is changed when the cotton falling scale of the combing machine is 7.5 mm-8.5 mm, so that the cotton falling rate is influenced;
according to the design of the thickness of the nipper 6 cotton supporting plates below the nipper, the cotton supporting plates with the thickness of 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 4.5mm are respectively replaced, under the condition that the yarn quality is ensured, the scheme can be used for further reducing the combed cotton falling rate, the combed cotton falling rate can be reduced by 1-3%, and the method can be used for the production design of the nipper and the reconstruction of the old nipper in future, and can reduce the cotton cost for enterprises.
(5) Carding state of brush 12
The brush 12 is used as a special tool for cleaning the cylinder 10, and timely cleans short piles, neps and impurities on the cylinder 10 so as to keep the effect of carding cotton layers of the cylinder, the brush replacement period is two to three years, the distance between the brush and the cylinder is 2-2.5 mm, in the production process, the brush gauge is checked and adjusted once every half year, the carding state of the brush is checked, and the brush 12 can be rotated by hand when the calibrated scale of the combing machine head is 12 degrees, so that the phenomenon that the brush gauge is not adjusted in place is avoided by taking rotation as a standard.
(5) Negative pressure of suction pipe 15
In order to ensure that short velvet and nep impurities of the cylinder 10 are brushed off by the brush 12, the short velvet and nep impurities are sucked away by wind in the wind suction pipeline 15, the wind suction negative pressure in the wind suction pipeline 15 is not lower than 330Pa, the pressure difference of a water column surface is 14-20 grids, the wind suction negative pressure is small, the cotton net holes are easy to be caused, the cotton net is not well jointed, and besides the opening of the baffle plate of the wind suction pipeline can be adjusted, the wind channel is also clean, so that the phenomena of hanging flowers and blocking flowers are prevented.
(6) Pressure of separating leather roller
Under the conditions of small scale of the spun long-staple cotton or deeper penetration depth of the top comb, the lap joint of the cotton web is poor, the broken web condition occurs, and some spun fine-staple cotton has small pressure, and part of fibers are sucked by suction to cause the condition of increasing doffing, so that the pressure of a separation leather roller is properly increased, the pressure of the separation leather roller 14 is adjusted to be 0.25-0.6 Pa, the joint condition of the cotton web is good, and the doffing is reduced.
(7) Top comb needle shape
The top comb has no continuous or multiple top comb needles, broken needles, bent needles and needle combining phenomenon, prevents the top comb needles from having intarsia, has influence on the top comb carding effect and timely changes of comb needle damage.
(8) Front and rear position positioning of top comb
In order to keep the top comb at the position among the separating leather roller, the separating roller and the nipper, the special tool is required to be corrected before and after the top comb without touching the separating leather roller (or the separating roller) or the nipper during the production movement, and the distance between the correction number and the special tool is at least 0.1mm, the top comb needle is prevented from touching the separating roller due to the deepening of the penetration depth of the top comb, and when the distance between the top comb and the special tool is corrected, or the special tool head 20 is lengthened, the wire is preferably enlarged to 30 wires. Meanwhile, when correcting the front and back positions of the eight eye top comb frames, each top comb is corrected to the left or right, and all the left and right are corrected, in particular, the top comb is marked with a table number and an eye number, so that the top comb is prevented from being damaged due to inaccurate gauge caused by deformation of the top comb frames and the top comb brackets.

(11) Design of top comb depth
The penetration depth of the top comb has influence on neps, short piles and impurities, and the larger the penetration depth of the top comb is, the larger the influence on neps is, and vice versa; with the increase of the penetration depth of the top comb, the quality of the finished yarn is obviously improved, however, the penetration depth of the top comb is too deep, the top comb can prevent fiber clusters, the top comb is easy to hang, when the cotton layer thickness is large, the cotton net cannot be normally separated and jointed, the net breakage occurs, and in the production process of the top comb, the design of the top comb is that the top comb needle does not collide with the detaching roller, so that the detaching roller is prevented from damaging the top comb needle.
