Abstract

本发明有关于一种电连接器,且特别是有关于一种插座电连接器。
背景技术
电连接器为电子装置上常见的零组件,可与其它电子装置上相匹配的电连接器相互连接,以作为两电子装置之间的讯号与电力的传输媒介。现有的电连接器,例如通用序列总线(Universal Serial Bus, USB)电连接器。目前USB协议又新增了C型(Type C)电连接器之规格,其除可提供10Gbps的超高速的数据传输速率之外,且其插接口呈对称而可正、反插接,因而广泛应用在各种电子装置,例如笔记型计算机。
发明内容
有鉴于上述问题,本发明系提供一种插座电连接器,用以安装至电子装置内部,以与匹配的插头电连接器相连接。
本发明的一种插座电连接器,包括一屏蔽外壳、一绝缘本体及多个端子。绝缘本体设置于屏蔽外壳内并具有一舌板,舌板延伸至屏蔽外壳外。这些端子设置于绝缘本体,各端子具有一接触段及一焊接段,接触段位于舌板上且突出自舌板有一段距离,焊接段延伸自绝缘本体,且这些焊接段共面。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的插座电连接器,包括一锁固组件,其连接至屏蔽外壳并具有一对锁固孔,用以锁附至硬性电路板。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的锁固组件更具有一对定位片,用以夹持屏蔽外壳。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的屏蔽外壳具有一对定位部,各定位片具有一定位孔,且对定位部分别配合对定位孔。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的各端子具有一延伸段,其位于绝缘本体内,并倾斜于对应的接触段及焊接段。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的屏蔽外壳具有一后盖部,且后盖部具有一后盖倾斜面,其平行于延伸段。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的绝缘本体更具有一基座,舌板从基座延伸至屏蔽外壳外,这些端子设置于基座及舌板,这些焊接段延伸自基座,且基座具有一基座倾斜面,其平行于延伸段。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的插座电连接器更包括一密封环,绝缘本体具有一环状沟槽,密封环设置于环状沟槽并与屏蔽外壳相密合。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的密封环是套设于环状沟槽的橡胶环圈或注入环状沟槽的填充胶材。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的绝缘本体更具有一注入口,其连通于环状沟槽,用以注入填充胶材。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的插座电连接器符合USB TYPE C之规格标准。
基于上述,在本发明中,绝缘本体的舌板延伸至屏蔽外壳外,以避免射频干扰。端子的接触段突出自舌板有一段距离。因此,当绝缘本体以插入模造(insert-molding)来制作时,绝缘胶料不易残留端子的接触段的顶面,因而有助于确保端子的表面接触质量。经由锁固组件可将插座电连接器锁附至硬性电路板,以增加结构强度。端子的倾斜的延伸段、屏蔽外壳的后盖部的外壳倾斜面和绝缘本体的基座倾斜面等构造可让出空间给其它组件。

具体实施方式
请参考图1至图6,在本实施例中,插座电连接器100包括一屏蔽外壳110、一绝缘本体120及多个端子130。绝缘本体120设置于屏蔽外壳110内。这些端子130设置于绝缘本体120。绝缘本体120具有一舌板122,舌板122延伸至屏蔽外壳110外,以避免射频干扰。当插座电连接器100符合USB TYPE C之规格标准时,这些端子130可位于舌板122的两面,以与匹配的插头电连接器100相互正、反插接。
如图1及图5所示,各端子130具有一接触段132,而接触段132位于舌板122上且突出自舌板122有一段距离D。具体而言,接触段132突出自舌板122的表面122a有距离D。因此,当绝缘本体120以插入模造(insert-molding)来制作时,绝缘胶料不易残留端子130的接触段132的顶面132a,因而有助于确保端子130的表面接触质量。各端子130还具有一焊接段134,而焊接段134延伸自绝缘本体120。这些焊接段134共面,即排列在同一几何平面上,以焊接软性电路板或硬性电路板。
在本实施例中,如图1及图4所示,插座电连接器100还包括一锁固组件140,其连接至屏蔽外壳110并具有一对锁固孔142,用以锁附至硬性电路板,因而增加结构强度。举例而言,可经由螺丝穿过锁固孔142而将插座电连接器100固定在硬性电路板上。此外,锁固组件140更具有一对定位片144,用以夹持屏蔽外壳110。在本实施例中,屏蔽外壳110具有一对定位部112(例如凸包),各定位片144具有一定位孔144a,且对定位部112分别配合对定位孔144a。
在本实施例中,如图1、图2及图6所示,绝缘本体120更具有一基座124,舌板122从基座124延伸至屏蔽外壳110外,这些端子130设置于基座124及舌板122,且这些焊接段134延伸自基座124。各端子130具有一延伸段136,其位于绝缘本体120内,并倾斜于对应的接触段132及对应的焊接段134。
然而,如图1、图2及图4所示,当插座电连接器100的后方需要让出空间给其它组件时,端子130的延伸段136倾斜于对应的接触段132及对应的焊接段134。同时,屏蔽外壳110具有一后盖部114,且后盖部114具有一后盖倾斜面114a。基座124具有一基座倾斜面124a。后盖倾斜面114a及基座倾斜面124a平行于端子130的延伸段136,因而倾斜于端子130的接触段132及焊接段134。
在本实施例中,如图3、图4及图6所示,绝缘本体120具有一环状沟槽126,插座电连接器100更包括一密封环150(见图6),密封环150设置于环状沟槽126并与屏蔽外壳110相密合。在本实施例中,密封环150可以是套设于环状沟槽126的橡胶环圈,或者是注入环状沟槽126的填充胶材。就后者而言,如图3及图4所示,绝缘本体120更具有一注入口128,其连通于环状沟槽126,用以注入填充胶材。
在本实施例中,如图4及图6所示,插座电连接器100更包括一密封膜160,其设于屏蔽外壳110与锁固组件140之间,以防止液体穿过屏蔽外壳110的缝隙116。
综上所述,在本发明中,绝缘本体的舌板延伸至屏蔽外壳外,以避免射频干扰。端子的接触段突出自舌板有有一段距离。因此,当绝缘本体以插入模造(insert-molding)来制作时,绝缘胶料不易残留端子的接触段的顶面,因而有助于确保端子的表面接触质量。经由锁固组件可将插座电连接器锁附至硬性电路板,以增加结构强度。端子的倾斜的延伸段、屏蔽外壳的后盖部的外壳倾斜面、绝缘本体的基座倾斜面等构造可让出空间给其它组件。
Claims (12)
1.一种插座电连接器,其特征在于:
一屏蔽外壳;
一绝缘本体,设置于该屏蔽外壳内并具有一舌板,该舌板延伸至该屏蔽外壳外;以及
多个端子,设置于绝缘本体,其中各该端子具有一接触段及一焊接段,该接触段位于该舌板上且突出自该舌板一段距离,该焊接段延伸自该绝缘本体,且该些焊接段共面。
2.如权利要求1所述的插座电连接器,包括:
一锁固组件,连接至该屏蔽外壳并具有一对锁固孔,用以锁附至硬性电路板。
3.如权利要求2所述的插座电连接器,其中该锁固组件更具有一对定位片,用以夹持该屏蔽外壳。
4.如权利要求2所述的插座电连接器,其中该屏蔽外壳具有一对定位部,各该定位片具有一定位孔,且该对定位部分别配合该对定位孔。
5.如权利要求1所述的的插座电连接器,其中各该端子具有一延伸段,其位于该绝缘本体内,并连接于该端子的该接触段及该焊接段,且倾斜于该端子的该接触段及该焊接段。
6.如权利要求5所述的插座电连接器,其中该屏蔽外壳具有一后盖部,且该后盖部具有一后盖倾斜面,其平行于该延伸段。
7.如权利要求5所述的插座电连接器,其中该绝缘本体更具有一基座,该舌板从该基座延伸至该屏蔽外壳外,该些端子设置于该基座及该舌板,该些焊接段延伸自该基座,且该基座具有一基座倾斜面,其平行于该延伸段。
8.如权利要求1所述的插座电连接器,更包括:
一密封环,该绝缘本体具有一环状沟槽,该密封环设置于该环状沟槽并与该屏蔽外壳相密合。
9.如权利要求8所述的插座电连接器,其中该密封环是套设于该环状沟槽的橡胶环圈。
10.如权利要求8所述的插座电连接器,其中该密封环是注入该环状沟槽的填充胶材。
11.如权利要求10所述的插座电连接器,其中该绝缘本体更具有一注入口,其连通于该环状沟槽,用以注入填充胶材。
12.如权利要求1所述的插座电连接器,其中该插座电连接器符合USB TYPE C之规格标准。
