Abstract

Description

本发明涉及用于光和/或电导体互连的连接组件。
鉴于信息和通讯系统在诸如所用部件的带宽及速度方面日益增长的要求,近来设计出了一些印刷线路板,在其中嵌有光和/或电导体以获得高质量的连接。为了与这些导体实现连接,这些导体的接触区(comtact    pads)均与印刷电路板的表面处于同一平面中。这类接触区的获得,可通过诸如把象光纤那样的导体至少部分地置于印刷线路板的表面之外并借助抛光除去突出的部分而得以实现。
为得到可靠的连接,把待连接导体的接触区高精度地迭置在一起是非常重要的。为此,一种已知的方法是把一导板嵌入印刷线路板,该导板在一主表面上有导引槽,所述导引槽逐渐终止于此主表面上。将这些导体置于这些导引槽中,其中导体的突出端被抛光成与印刷线路板的主表面在同一平面内。带有诸如来自另一印刷线路板或传导缆线的导体的一对应导板以这样的方式放置在前一块印刷电路板上,即,使这些导体的接触区彼此接触。由于象光纤之类材料的直径仅为100~150微米,故导板沿垂直于光纤纵向的定位尤其要以高精度进行,以得到可靠的连接。
为此,已知的方法是在嵌入印刷线路板的导板中的导引槽的两侧分别钻一个孔,并在对导体的突出部分抛光之后用销子插入这些孔中,这些销子应能插到另一导板的相应孔中。这种已知方案的一个缺点是很难达到所要求的精度。
本发明的目的,是提供一种上述类型的连接组件,用一种相对简单的方式实现所需的导板定位精度。
为此,本发明提供了一种用于互连光和/或电导体的连接组件,它包括待嵌入一印刷线路板并有用于第一导体的一或多个导引槽的第一导板和具有用于待与所述第一导体相连的第二导体的一或多个导引槽的第二导板,其中各导体包括一在相应印刷线路板或导板的主表面上的接触区,所述导板包括用于使导体的接触区相互定位的定位装置。根据本发明,所述定位装置包括一槽和一突出部分,它们具有相对于导引槽位于预定位置的配合直线基准表面,且其中设有用于把所述基准表面压在一起的装置。
本发明是基于这样的考虑,一方面从制作的观点看,较容易非常精确地在相对于导引槽的预定位置做出基准表面,从而通过简单地把基准表面压在一起而在垂直于导引槽长度方向上得到导体的接触区的精确定位。另一方面,本发明的定位装置,使得能够在导板相向移动中导体接触区偏离所期望的位置较大时进行补偿。
根据本发明,定位装置最好包括带有配合直线基准表面的第二槽和第二突出部分,所述基准表面在相对于导体的接触区的预定位置处沿垂直于导引槽的长度方向延伸。从而沿导引槽长度方向上的定位也能得到所述优点。
在一个非常简单的实施例中,第二导板是装在一外壳上并至少可沿垂直于导引槽长度方向移动的一个部件的一部分。其中,第一弹簧沿该垂直方向把一个力加到可移动部件上,最好设有一第一外壳,所述外壳至少部分地包围着第一导板并包括容纳可移动部件的外壳的接受空间。以此方式,可有效地利用所有已知的电连接组件技术,其中通过把带有第二个导板的外壳预定位在第一个外壳中即可获得导板间的粗定位,其后导板的定位装置可实现所需精度的定位。
这类解决方案通过利用一外壳也可用于诸如缆线与印刷线路板的连接,该外壳至少部分地包围第一导板并包括一用于容纳第二导板的接受空间,其中,用于把基准表面压在一起的所述装置装在所述外壳中。
下面将结合附图进一步描述本发明,在附图中示意地说明了本发明的连接组件的两个实施例。
图1是本发明连接组件的一个实施例的剖视图,说明处于未连接位置的连接组件。
图2是图1的连接组件的一部分的示意俯视图,其中,印制线路板未作图示。
图3是图1的连接组件的另一部分的侧示图,其中,印刷线路板未作图示。

图1显示了在用于实现印刷线路板(如第一印刷线路板1和第二印刷线路板2)之间的连接的实施例中用于互连光和/或电导体的接触区的连接组件。光纤以一种公知的方式嵌在印刷线路板1和2中,因而未进一步显示。印刷线路板1的光纤设有与印刷线路板1的表面处于一个平面内的接触区。为此,将第一导板3嵌入印刷线路板1,其中,导板的主表面可与印刷线路板1的该表面处于同一平面。然而,导板3的主表面也可低于印刷线路板1的该表面。在导板3上有导引槽4,其中在各所述导引槽4中放置有一根光纤,因而光纤的位置由导引槽4确定。这些导引槽4逐渐向上延伸至导板3的主表面,从而把光纤的末端引向该主表面。光纤伸出印刷线路板1的部分以特定的方式被抛光,从而使它们被定位在印刷线路板1的该表面上。导板3与至少部分地包围了所述导板3的外壳5一起形成了连接组件的第一连接部分6。
第二连接部分7包括适于被容纳在外壳5的接受空间9中的外壳8。在外壳8中装有可移动部件10,部件10伸出外壳8的一端部被用作第二导板11。在此导板11中,设有对应于导引槽4的导引槽12;该导引槽12也逐渐终止于导板11的主表面。嵌在印刷线路板2上的光纤以一种未进一步显示的方式引出印刷线路板并固定在导引槽12中,以便使印刷线路板2的光纤的位置也由导引槽12确定。将光纤伸出导板11的部分抛光,其方式是要在导板11的主表面上得到接触区。
为了在印刷线路板1和印刷线路板2的导体之间实现良好的连接,很重要的是要使光纤的接触区彼此准确地接触,尤其是在分别与导引槽4和12的纵向垂直的方向上。为此,导板3包括带有被定位于一预定位置的直线基准表面14的突出部分13;所述预定位置是相对导引槽4非常精确地取定的。从制作的观点来看,在相对于导引槽4的精确预定位置上制作这种基准表面是较容易的。该突出部分在突出端设有对准边15。
导板11设有带有直线基准表面17的槽16;表面17位于相对于导引槽12高精度地取定的同一预定位置。若把连接部分6和7放入组装位置,则外壳5和8首先相互定位,从而获得粗定位。部件10被装入外壳8内,可沿三个方向移动。从而通过突出部分13与槽16的配合而把导板3和11置于相互校正的位置,其中弹簧18把基准表面17压在基准表面14上。这样,导引槽4和12精确对准,且使导体接触区在与这些导引槽垂直的方向上相互精确定位。
导引槽4和12在长度方向上的定位是以相应方式借助带有直线基准表面20的突出部分19而获得的。该突出部分19还设有对准边15。导板11有带有直线基准表面22的槽21。一弹簧把槽21的基准表面22压靠在突出部分19的基准表面20上。从而也精确地确定了导引槽4和12在长度方向上的相互定位,并使导体的接触区沿此长度方向相互精确地定位。
最后弹簧24在连接组件的组装位置把导体的接触区压靠在一起。
在上述连接组件中,可有效地采用已知的电连接组件的已知对准技术。外壳5和8以附图中所示的方式设有对准边,从而即使应用于震动系统,把外壳8插入外壳5的接受空间9中也不会产生问题。导板11借助部件10可移动地装在外壳8中,从而借助突出部分13和19与槽16和21的配合,使导板11以所需的精度相对于导板3置于确定的位置。
图4和5显示了本发明连接组件的一个实施例的两个部件;该组件用于把诸如光缆等物与嵌在印刷线路板25中的光纤相连。以与在印刷线路板1中同样的方式,将带有用于光纤的导引槽4的导板3嵌入印刷线路板25中。在此情况下,外壳26的截面成倒U形,所述外壳26跨在导板3上。在外壳26中与导板3的导引槽4平行地延伸的内壁28上装有弹簧部件27。在其上壁29中装有弹簧部件30。
图4a-c说明导板31。它是以与导板11大致相同的方式制作的。导板31设有光缆的光纤(未示出)用的导引槽12。在此导板31上设有带基准表面17的槽16。在此情况下导板31的槽21与槽16相连接。槽21的基准表面22与导板3的突出部分19的基准表面20相配合起止动表面的作用。
为实现光缆的光纤与导板31的印刷线路板25的光纤之间的连接,将导板31从图5b所示的左侧插入到外壳26中,其中弹簧27把槽16的基准表面17压在突出部分13的基准表面14上。在此情况下,在突出部分13的纵向端设有对准边15。槽21的基准表面22与突出部分19的基准表面20相配合。弹簧部分30把导体的接触区压在一起。虽然在图4和5的实施例中导板31未装在外壳中,显然,把导板31装在适当的外壳中也是可以的。
因此,本发明不仅限于上述的实施例。在权利要求书的范围内,本发明可以按多种方式进行改变。

Claims (12)

1、用于光和/或电导体互连的连接组件,包括待嵌入一印刷线路板中并具有用于第一导体的一或多个导引槽的第一导板,和具有用于待与所述第一导体相连的第二导体的一或多个导引槽的第二导板,其中,各导体均包括在相应印刷线路板或导板的主表面内的接触区,所述导板包括用于使导体的接触区相互定位的定位装置,所述定位装置包括带有相对于导引槽位于预定位置的配合直线基准表面的槽和突出部分,且设有用于把所述基准表面压在一起的装置。
2、根据权利要求1的连接组件,其特征在于:所述基准表面以预定的距离平行于导引槽延伸。
3、根据权利要求1或2的连接组件,其特征在于:定位装置包括带有在相对于导体接触区的预定位置处垂直于导引槽的长度方向延伸的配合直线基准表面的第二槽和第二突出部分。
4、如权利要求1、2或3的连接组件,其特征在于:第二导板是装在一外壳中并至少可沿与导引槽的长度方向相垂直的方向移动的一个部件的一部分,其中,一第一弹簧把一个力沿此垂直方向加在该可移动部件上。
5、根据权利要求4的连接组件,其特征在于:一第二弹簧把一个力沿导引槽的长度方向加在可移动部件上。
6、根据权利要求4或5的连接组件,其特征在于:一第三弹簧在连接组件处于组装位置时把一个力沿第一导板的方向加在可移动部件上。
7、根据权利要求4、5或6的连接组件,其特征在于:第一外壳至少部分地包围第一导板并包括用于容纳可移动外壳的接受空间。
8、根据权利要求1、2或3的连接组件,其特征在于:外壳至少部分包围第一导板并包括用于容纳第二导板的接受空间,其中,用于把基准表面压在一起的所述装置置于所述外壳中。
9、根据权利要求8的连接组件,其特征在于:所述外壳包括与第二导板或其外壳的侧表面相配合的弹簧部件。
10、根据权利要求9的连接组件,其特征在于:该弹簧部件装在大致平行于导引槽的长度方向延伸的外壳壁上。
11、根据权利要求8或9的连接组件,其特征在于:外壳有用于把位于连接组件的组装位置的导体的接触区压在一起的弹簧部件。
12、根据权利要求8、9或10的连接组件,其特征在于:第二导板可沿导引槽的纵向滑入到外壳中,其中第二突出部分和槽的所述基准表面确定了插入距离。
