背景技术
公开US 7,314,162公开了如下的方法和系统,其中该方法和系统用于通过在数据库中存储并且向身份证件所有者报告该人的驾照、护照或其它政府签发的身份证件作为ID的形式被出示的实例,来报告身份证件使用,由此便于尽早通知身份盗用。
此外,公开US 7,503,488公开了如下的方法,其中该方法用于基于过去与申请人在他们针对驾照的申请中所出示的附带身份证件(例如,出生证明、护照、学生ID卡等)的特定组合相关联的欺诈的相对发生率,在向申请人签发驾照之前评估欺诈的风险。
期望重新认证、更正和/或更新官方(即,政府签发)的卡或其它证书(例如,出生证明)、教育学位和文凭以及其它证书等,特别是没有固定的有效期或续约日期的证件。还可以期望在商用证件上打印认证标记以供验证目的。
还期望在不会使有价值物品贬值的情况下(例如,在不会更改艺术作品的视觉外观的情况下),利用认证标记来标记诸如艺术品(艺术作品)和其它有价值的物品(“有价值物品”)等的物品。还期望在以下方面最高效地利用现有的基础设施:特定读取器-打印机可在商业上用于在诸如护照等的证件上进行打印。
本发明的目的是提供处理这些需求并且解决现有技术的缺陷的系统和方法。
发明内容
通过本发明的实施例的主题来解决上述的传统观念的问题和缺陷。
具体实施方式
可以重新签发卡和证书以进行更正或更新它们的安全特征,并且将旧的卡或证书交出以供销毁。一些卡和证书可以显示有效期并且需要定期续约(例如,护照、驾照等)。特定读取器-打印机可在商业上用于打印卡和证书的重新签发。
本发明的实施例包括专用服务器,其中该专用服务器包括应用服务器、数据收集模块、分析模块、警报模块、防火墙和防篡改模块以及/或者安全通信模块中的一个或多个。所述应用服务器可以提供针对读取器、打印机和/或集成型读取器-打印机(无论哪个都可以安装)的私有的基于云的操作控制、以及其它管理功能,由此减轻了将读取器-打印机集成到现有的第三方电子系统中的负担。
数据收集模块收集国家法律(例如,隐私权法)所允许的与护照或其它有价值物品的各使用或选择使用相关联的所有数据并且将这些数据存储在数据库中,其中这些数据包括:(i)利用读取器或集成型读取器-打印机所进行的有价值物品的扫描,包括按电磁辐射的多个波长进行的多次扫描、(例如,液体有价值物品的)超声扫描、x射线扫描、激光扫描等;(ii)诸如护照编号等的有价值物品标识、护照及其内容的图像或其它标识,包括给定护照中的任何先前官方(例如,签证)印章在该给定护照中的位置;(iii)有价值物品持有者或所有者的生物计量和个人资料数据,诸如指纹、眼睛扫描、面部扫描、身体扫描、红外热传感器数据、(以下进一步说明的)视听记录等;(iv)有价值物品的各使用或选择使用的日期、时间和位置,包括例如每当在诸如边界过境点、交通枢纽(诸如机场、船坞和火车站等)等的护照扫描设施处、或者在银行和旅馆处扫描护照时,或者每当在扫描设施(即,具有读取器或集成型读取器-打印机的设施)处扫描有价值物品时;(v)护照持有者和护照扫描设施处的工作人员之间的互动的声音、图像或视频记录,或者与以下有关的其它记录:有价值物品的使用、关联的媒体元数据(例如,记录帧数、语音的频率签名或其它记录数据)以及根据这些媒体元数据所计算出的度量(例如,这些度量可被加密并用于补充现有的防篡改技术);(vi)示出使用护照或其它有价值物品的人的视频数据;(vii)与有价值物品持有者或所有者相关联的旅行信息,例如到达和/或目的地信息,诸如与在机场或其它护照扫描设施处正扫描的护照相关联的航空公司航班号等;(viii)与护照持有者、在官方数据收集设施处出现的个人(例如,难民)或有价值物品所有者相关联的医疗信息(例如,健康状况、事先接触传染病、医疗报告等);(ix)相关证明文件,诸如报关单的扫描件、次要身份证件的扫描件、有关工作人员的注释等;(x)参与处理护照或其它有价值物品的负责人员的身份,诸如使用读取器-打印机(在安装的情况下)利用指纹或者例如其它生物计量来识别该负责人员的情况等;以及(xi)在护照、标签或(例如,贴附至物体的)贴纸或者有价值物品中安装RFID芯片并且在(护照)扫描设施处扫描RFID芯片的RFID内容。数据库还可以存储与签证、国家入境、国家出境、报关单、护照印章或其它官方印章有关的信息,以用来集中地(即,远程地)控制读取器、打印机和/或集成型读取器-打印机(无论哪个都可以安装)。
分析模块分析数据库中所存储的数据,以实时地确定护照或其它有价值物品的潜在不合法使用,诸如护照持有者在无相应的先前出境或入境的情况下正尝试入境某国或从某国出境的情况、或者有价值物品持有者正表现出诸如紧张等的明显行为模式的情况等。分析模块还监测国际刑警组织(INTERPOL)的数据库、欧洲刑警组织的数据库、国家犯罪记录数据库和其它数据库,以识别正尝试在护照扫描设施处使用护照或者在扫描设施处使用其它有价值物品的受关注个人。分析模块监测停留时间限制,以在护照持有者逾期停留(例如,在签证到期时尚未从某国离境)或者提前离境(例如,没有在某国停留足够量的时间以有资格获得规定的移民身份)的情况下发出警报。
警报模块-在负责人员或其他工作人员所扫描的护照或其它有价值物品已被分析模块标记为与不合法使用相关联或者有问题的情况下,警报模块向这些人员发出警报。在检测到针对专用服务器或其模块的篡改或其它物理损坏的情况下,也生成警报。可以经由(以下所述的)安全通信模块、以及/或者通过电子邮件、文本和/或(例如,向移动电话的)语音消息等向负责人员或其他工作人员提供警报。为了主动安全的目的,在法律容许的情况下,可以向世界各地的任何官方机构提供警报。
防火墙和防篡改模块保护专用服务器免于外部的基于因特网的攻击,并且还监测针对专用硬件组件的物理篡改、入侵或其它损坏。
安全通信模块使用符合客户偏好和法律要求的加密技术,来为专用服务器和参与国家政府、其机构、商业企业或其它客户的电子系统之间的通信提供加密。安全通信模块便于进行(护照)扫描设施处的、专用服务器与包括特定读取器、打印机和/或集成读取器-打印机的客户端计算机之间的通信。安全通信模块可用于经由国家特定的VPN(虚拟专用网)来与各国家内的客户端计算机进行通信。在一些实施例中,采用针对各(护照)扫描设施的单独VPN。尽管不同国家的各护照相关电子系统之间的不兼容性,但国家特定的通信便于经由专用服务器来(在两个国家的法律的限度内)在国家之间传送信息。更一般地,尽管各系统之间的不兼容性,但安全通信模块便于通过根据第一通信协议从第一订阅客户接收数据、然后根据第二通信协议从专用服务器向第二订阅客户发送数据,来在订阅客户之间传送信息,其中第一通信协议和第二通信协议不必彼此兼容。
专用服务器的任何数量的模块可以集成到定制的黑盒单元中,并且任何给定模块可被商用化为适合与现有的第三方电子系统集成的独立单元。
特定打印机或集成型读取器-打印机可被作为独立单元来直接进行控制,或者可由专用服务器来集中控制,以在正式卡和正式证书上打印重新认证标记,由此打印更正信息和/或采用较新的安全特征。通过示例的方式,被接受为真的正式卡或正式证书可以由读取器或集成型读取器-打印机进行扫描,扫描结果可以由专用服务器存储在其数据库中,基于所选择的模板和动态字段数据(其可选地包括基于扫描结果所产生的编码数据)来生成认证标记,并且在正式卡或正式证书上打印认证标记。
在活动门票或者其它购买的商业服务用票(例如,交通票)的情况下,使用读取器-打印机在该票上盖章或以其它方式进行打印以表示该票已被使用,这样使得能够使用安全特征(例如,包含在打印所使用的墨中的安全特征)。使所打印的印章可见,这禁止了这些票被其他人不合法地重复使用。
通过进一步示例的方式,在使用之前被接受为真的提单显示了用于描述要装运的货物的信息(例如,质量标准、数量等)。对来自提单的这些信息进行加密,并且生成包含加密后的信息的认证标记。在装运之前,利用打印机或者集成型读取器-打印机,在提单上打印认证标记。在目的地处,比较提单和所装运的集装箱中实际容纳的货物。如果发现任何不一致,则对认证标记的加密数据进行解密,并且与提单上所显示的信息进行比较,以判断装运期间提单是否被更改(例如,篡改)。另外或可选地,可以将解密后的信息与所接收到的货物进行比较。
作为进一步的示例,可以利用纸包将成捆的现金保持到一起,其中在运输、存储等之前,利用打印机或集成型读取器-打印机在该纸包上打印包含该捆中的金额的加密指示的认证。
在变型例中,可以在可以是随机位置或人为选择位置等的多个位置处打印多个认证标记。
作为可选步骤,可以(例如,利用读取器-打印机型内置照相机)获取被应用了认证标记的有价值物品的图像,然后利用专用服务器存储该图像,以随后用来判断是否发生认证标记的篡改。通过示例的方式,在(例如,在可指定边界内的)随机选择的位置处设置多个认证标记的情况下,随后可以核实认证标记的相对或绝对位置。在变型例中,利用读取器或集成型读取器-打印机来扫描被应用了认证标记的物体,并且利用专用服务器存储扫描结果,以供随后验证有价值物品及其认证标记。
根据本发明的另一实施例,提供对构成的修改,使得读取器-打印机可适用于支持针对各种形状和大小的物体的打印。例如,特定的读取器/打印机可以是用于扫描各种形状和大小的物体的便携式手持单元。
根据本发明的操作实施例的方法,可选地对被接受为真的有价值物品进行扫描,并且利用专用服务器来存储扫描数据;基于所选择的模板和动态字段数据(其可选地包括基于扫描结果所产生的编码数据)来生成认证标记;以及使用仅在暴露至可指定的电磁辐射(例如,紫外光)的情况下才可见的非穿透性且非吸收性的墨来在有价值物品上打印认证标记。
在变型例中,在可以是随机位置或人为选择位置等的多个位置处,可以打印多个认证标记。通过示例的方式,可以采用画布的背面和框架之间的接合处的油画背面的认证标记。例如,这种背面认证标记不必是不可见的。

Claims (12)
1.一种读取器-打印机,用于对物品进行重新认证,所述读取器-打印机被配置为:
扫描被接受为真的物品;
基于所选择的模板和动态字段数据来获得认证标记;以及
在所述物品上打印所述认证标记。
2.根据权利要求1所述的读取器-打印机,其中,所述读取器-打印机还被配置为将扫描所述物品的结果存储在数据库中。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的读取器-打印机,其中,所述读取器-打印机还被配置成作为独立单元来直接进行控制。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的读取器-打印机,其中,所述读取器-打印机还被配置成由专用服务器来集中控制。
5.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的读取器-打印机,其中,所述读取器-打印机还被配置为在包括护照、许可证、学位证书和卡中任一者的证件上进行打印。
6.根据权利要求1至4中任一项所述的读取器-打印机,其中,所述读取器-打印机还被配置为在包括物品、有价值物品以及艺术品或艺术作品中任一者的各种形状和大小的物体上进行打印。
7.根据权利要求6所述的读取器-打印机,其中,所述读取器-打印机还被配置为使用仅在暴露至能够指定的电磁辐射的情况下才可见的非穿透性和/或非吸收性的墨来在有价值物品上打印所述认证标记,其中所述电磁辐射优选为紫外光。
8.根据权利要求6或7所述的读取器-打印机,其中,所述读取器-打印机还被配置为在多个位置处打印多个所述认证标记,其中所述多个位置优选为随机位置或人为选择位置。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任一项所述的读取器-打印机,其中,所述读取器-打印机还被配置为扫描被应用了所述认证标记的物品。
