一种聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带的焊接方法
技术领域
本发明属于高分子材料技术领域,特别涉及一种聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带的焊接方法。
背景技术
聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)又称铁氟龙或特氟龙(Teflon),与其他高分子材料相比,因其具有卓越的耐热、阻燃、耐腐蚀性以及超低的摩擦系数,工业上常以玻璃纤维、芳纶纤维编织布为基底,以聚四氟乙烯为涂层,制造用于特殊功能的输送皮带。这种输送皮带具有耐磨、耐高温、耐腐蚀、易清洁的功能,长期使用温度达到260℃。
皮带本身根据有没有接缝分为两种,一种为无缝带,一种为普通皮带。无缝皮带为特定尺寸的环状皮带,直接装配在其他设备上使用,不会再产品表面留下接头带来的印痕,在产品表面质量要求高的领域中备受关注,但是与普通皮带相比,其成本高昂,在设备配套安装上也存在很多问题,目前大部分传输皮带都不得不采用带有接头的普通皮带。目前皮带接头材质包含金属的、非金属的,其连接形式有拼接、铰链、对接、重叠等多种形式。但都会在产品表面产生明显的接头印痕。聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带价格昂贵,为了控制成本,皮带使用寿命是行业关注的重点,而聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带损坏,一般都是从最薄弱的位置——皮带接头开始损坏。开发优良的皮带接头方法,不仅需要解决皮带接头印痕的问题,同时必须满足很好的使用寿命,而这个问题也给行业带来了极大挑战。
发明内容
为解决上述问题,本发明提供了一种聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带焊接工艺,是以氟塑料膜为焊接膜,以聚四氟乙烯涂覆的高强度纤维基布为焊接基布,使用高温熨斗对其加热加压一段时间,然后冷却定型,使焊接基布与皮带焊接到一起。
本发明的技术方案是通过以下方式实现的:一种聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带焊接工艺,其特征在于:取聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带平铺在平台上两头对接;将焊接膜和高强度纤维基布依次平铺在皮带的搭接缝上中间对齐,打开高温熨斗,温度设定为350-400℃,使熨斗按压在焊接基布上,保持30-50s,移开熨斗,用装有冷水的不锈钢铁箱压在焊接位置处降温60-90s,移开不锈钢铁箱,焊接基布与皮带完成焊接。
所述的聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带的材质为聚四氟乙烯涂层玻纤布或聚四氟乙烯涂层芳纶布。
所述的焊接膜是氟塑料膜,为乙烯四氟乙烯共聚物、聚全氟乙丙烯或四氟乙烯-全幅烷氧基乙烯基醚共聚物,其厚度为0.06-0.10mm。
所述的高强度纤维基布是厚度为0.10-0.27mm的聚四氟乙烯涂覆的玻纤布、或是厚度为0.10-0.27mm的聚四氟乙烯涂层芳纶布。
本发明,接头带来的皮带印明显减轻,且使用寿命明显提高。

如图1所示,一种聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带焊接工艺,首先将聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带1平铺在平台上两头对接;将氟塑料焊接膜2平铺在皮带3的搭接缝上,再将焊接基布1平铺在焊接膜2上,使焊接膜2和焊接基布1中间对齐;打开高温熨斗,温度设定为350-400℃,熨斗按压在焊接基布1上,保持30-50s,移开熨斗,用装有冷水的不锈钢铁箱压在焊接位置处降温60-90s。移开不锈钢铁箱,使焊接基布1与皮带3焊接到一起。所述的聚四氟乙烯涂层皮带的材质为聚四氟乙烯涂层玻纤布或聚四氟乙烯涂层芳纶布。所述的焊接膜是氟塑料膜,为乙烯四氟乙烯共聚物(ETFE)、聚全氟乙丙烯(FEP)或四氟乙烯-全幅烷氧基乙烯基醚共聚物(PFA),其厚度为0.06-0.10mm。所述的高强度纤维基布是厚度为0.10-0.27mm的聚四氟乙烯涂覆的玻纤布、或是厚度为0.10-0.27mm的聚四氟乙烯涂层芳纶布。
