The invention relates to a composition for improving the oocyst yield of eimeria maxima and a preparation method thereof, wherein the composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 10-30 parts of Chinese pulsatilla root; 1-10 parts of vitamin A; 0.5-10 parts of vitamin E; 2-30 parts of berberine; 0.5-5 parts of sodium cholate; 10-90 parts of stone powder. The composition has scientific and reasonable composition and simple process, can improve the yield of the oocysts of the eimeria maxima by maintaining the integrity of the epithelial mucosa of the intestinal tract, reducing the damage of gram-negative bacteria of the intestinal tract to the epithelial cells of the intestinal tract, increasing the cyst removal rate of sporozoites and the like, and can improve the production efficiency of the eimeria maxima vaccine, reduce the production cost and save social resources.

Clinical application
The invention is used according to the following method: the composition is fed to the breeding hens to be inoculated from 8 days before the inoculation of the eimeria maxima oocyst vaccine strain, 100kg of the composition is mixed with 100g of the feed every 100g of the composition, and the feeding is carried out for 3 days at intervals of 2 days and then for 3 days.
Production test:
200 healthy AA broiler chickens infected by coccidian of 10 days old are selected and randomly divided into 4 groups, namely a high-dose group, a medium-dose group, a low-dose group and a blank control group, and 50 broiler chickens in each group are respectively treated as follows.

oocyst production in high dose group: 7302 ten thousand oocysts per chicken;
oocyst yield in medium dose group: 6430 ten thousand oocysts per chicken;
oocyst production in low dose groups: 5910 ten thousand oocysts per chicken;
oocyst yield of blank control group: 4800 Ten thousand oocysts per chicken.
And (4) analyzing results: the Eimeria maxima oocysts fed to the high dose group of chickens were 13.6% higher, 23.6% higher, and 40.0% higher than the control group of chickens fed the low and medium dose groups, respectively. The above data demonstrate that the composition of the present invention has a significant effect on increasing the oocyst yield of eimeria maxima, and can greatly increase the production efficiency of eimeria maxima vaccines.
