Description

Bath foam
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of daily chemical articles, and particularly relates to bath foam.
Background
The common non-soap-based shower gel generally uses fatty alcohol-polyoxyethylene ether sodium sulfate or fatty alcohol-polyoxyethylene ether ammonium sulfate as a main surfactant. However, sodium fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulphate or ammonium fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulphate both suffer from two major problems, namely dioxane and sulphate groups. The fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate can generate a byproduct dioxane in the sulfonation process. Dioxane is an organic compound, namely dioxane, 1, 4-dioxane, belonging to a micro-toxic class, is irritant to the skin, eyes and respiratory system and may cause damage to the liver, kidneys and nervous system, and acute poisoning may lead to death. Therefore, the use of the fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate introduces dioxane into the product, and poses a threat to the health of consumers. Also, sulfates can irritate the eyes and dry hair and skin.
In addition, most body washes employ alkanolamides as thickeners, and most of the prior alkanolamides contain free amines as impurities. Free amine is a potential source of nitrosamine and has carcinogenic effect on human body.
