车轮及其制造方法
本发明涉及一种车轮及其制造方法,该车轮具有轮辋和轮辋载体,其中轮辋连接在轮辋载体上以便能被固定而防止在圆周方向上发生相对转动。
上述这种车轮已在专利EP-A1-368480号中公开,该公开的车轮具有由纤维增强合成材料涂覆的泡沫结构制成的多轮辐载体。该已知的构造是将一个基本上具有H形截面的铝制轮辋环与轮毂一同放在模型内,然后注射聚氨酯并使它发泡,即可形成装载结构。由于泡沫在制造时膨胀,从而在铝制轮辋环与载体之间及在轮毂与载体之间都可得到安全的连接。特别是由于高强度合成材料例如碳纤维增强塑料的发展,用这种轻而高强的合成材料来生产上述这种车轮已广为人知。但若完全用这种合成材料来生产车轮,在大多数情况下就不再能用已知的轮辋制动器,除非另外采取措施。这种材料的摩擦性能一般并不允许采用以摩擦原理为依据的轮辋制动器。如果,象专利EP-A1-368480号中建议过的那样,采用一个铝制轮辋环和一个与它分开的轮辋载体,那么连接在一起的结构组件在运行时会被加热到不同的程度,从而发生不同的热膨胀。在制动过程中,轮辋能被加热到约150℃的温度,这样导致的轮辋环的热膨胀会使车轮的滚动失真。除了由于膨胀和收缩而带来的噪音外,这种失真的滚动免不了会发生基本上较高的磨损并可使轮辋环相对于轮辋体而移动。
由于用作轮辋载体的特别轻质材料虽然具有良好的刚度和强度性能,但其边缘却极易碎裂,因此这种轮辋环相对于轮辋体的相对移动也会造成轮辋载体或者甚至轮胎的过早损坏。
本发明的目的是要提供这种车轮,它须能在任何运行温度下能确保真正的滚动,并且从整体来看,磨损要较少。
本发明提供了一种具有轮辋和轮辋载体的车轮,特别是用于自行车的车轮,其中轮辋连接在轮辋载体上以便能被夹紧而防止在圆周方向上发生转动,支承件例如弹性体件沿径向被弹性地安排在轮辋载体和轮辋之间,其特征在于,轮辋由金属特别是铝制成,轮辋被设计成一截面可弹性地扩宽的环并具有一个可解脱的锁定装置,所述截面环有一个大致H形的截面并从外面包围在轮辋载体上,同时留出一个空间以便接纳径向支承件。
这样做时就可使轮辋环和轮辋分别以弹性复位的方式连接在轮辋载体上。如果这种车轮被制动或由于其他任何热应力而被加热到高温,那么轮辋会均匀地膨胀并被弹性支承件的压力均匀地支承着,这样便可继续保持真正的滚动。在弹性体或弹性支承件加热的情况下,其形状可这样设计使弹性复位基本上保持恒定而可不管运行温度如何,因为弹性支承件如果相应地被加热,它将在维持压力的情况下跟随轮辋环膨胀。在另一方面,如果轮辋冷下来,它又会均匀地收缩,压迫弹性支承件或弹性体件回到原来的开始位置。
本发明还提供了一种制造车轮的方法,其特征在于,轮辋被加热到其最高运行温度,具体地说约为150℃,并与轮辋载体连接起来,中间安插弹性件支承件。
下面将通过在附图中概略示出的示范的实施例对本发明进行较详细的说明,附图为一通过轮辋载体和轮辋外侧区域的剖面图。
在附图中,轮辋载体用1标出,在剖面图中可见其外环的细节。具有基本上为H形横截面轮廓的轮辋2通过其面向轮辋载体的两条腿4的进入到轮辋载体1的适当偏移的区域3内,与轮辋载体1连接在一起。有一形状为弹性体环的弹性支承体6安插在轮辋2的腹板或轮辋床5与载体1之间。
在装配轮辋2时,或者它是开口的,这时可将轮辋2放置在轮辋载体1之上而将弹性支承件6安插在两者之间,然后将轮辋环2的自由开口端连接起来。或者当轮辋2为封闭环时,则按本发明所建议的那样,将轮辋2加热到最高的运行温度,然后让它在冷却时收缩到轮辋载体上,同时压缩弹性支承件6。弹性支承件6被接纳在轮辋载体的周边槽7内,使它能在任何热应力下在用8标出的径向的主平面上正确地支承着轮辋2,由于弹性支承件6能相应而有力地复位,便可不用将两条腿4从侧面锚固在轮辋载体周边的外侧上。但虽然未示出,如果需要侧向锚固的话,例如在向下延伸的腿4上设有突出部而在轮辋载体的侧面上设有周边槽或凹部,此时热应力必须通过轮辋床或腹板5的弯曲来加以吸收。

Claims (7)

1.一种具有轮辋和轮辋载体的车轮,特别是用于自行车的车轮,其中轮辋连接在轮辋载体上以便能被夹紧而防止在圆周方向上发生转动,支承件(6)例如弹性体件沿径向被弹性地安排在轮辋载体(1)和轮辋(2)之间,其特征在于,
轮辋(2)由金属特别是铝制成,轮辋(2)被设计成一截面可弹性地扩宽的环并具有一个可解脱的锁定装置,所述截面环有一个大致H形的截面并从外面包围在轮辋载体(1)上,同时留出一个空间以便接纳径向支承件(6)。
2.按照权利要求1的车轮,其特征在于,处在环境温度的径向支承件(6)不完全地充满设在轮辋载体(1)的周边和面向载体(1)周边的轮辋(2)表面之间的空间内。
3.按照权利要求1或2的车轮,其特征在于,轮辋载体(1)具有一个周边槽(7)以便接纳径向支承件(6)。
4.按照权利要求1或2的车轮,其特征在于,设在轮辋载体(1)和轮辋(2)之间的空间具有通风孔。
5.按照权利要求1或2的车轮,其特征在于,支承件(6)的弹性复位力是这样选定的,使支承力在轮辋截面受到最大的加热或热膨胀时保持在径向上。
6.按照权利要求1或2的车轮,其特征在于,轮辋(2)在其面向轮辋载体(1)的内侧上H形截面的两条腿上设有突出部以便与轮辋载体周边外侧设有的环形槽咬合。
7.制造权利要求1或2的车轮的方法,其特征在于,轮辋(2)被加热到其最高运行温度,具体地说约为150℃,并与轮辋载体(1)连接起来,中间安插弹性件支承件(6)。
