技术领域
本发明涉及用于更换灯泡的适配器,更特别地,涉及用于更换LED(发光二极管)灯泡的适配器。
背景技术
灯泡更换器在现有技术中是已知的,并且允许使用者在不使用梯子或触碰热灯泡的情况下更换灯泡。典型的更换器包括用于抓持灯泡的抓持器,抓持器安装于杆以允许使用者利用该抓持器够到灯泡。抓持器包括柔性指,柔性指用于与灯泡接合并允许使用者拧下灯泡。对于不同尺寸和形状的灯泡能够出售具有多种抓持器的更换器,各抓持器均利用螺纹连接可拆装地安装于杆。抓持器被设计成用于大致球形的白炽灯泡、聚光灯泡和紧凑型荧光灯(CFL)灯泡。
在无关的发展中,至少部分因为联邦规定,LED灯泡越来越流行。在图1至图3中以100示出了能够被设计成嵌入与传统白炽灯泡相同的灯座中的典型的LED灯泡。灯泡100包括围绕发光元件的铝或类似材料制的散热器102。散热器具有多个冷却片104(为了清楚,从图1中省略,但在图2和图3中示出),冷却片104从灯泡100的轴线A放射开;在许多设计中,冷却片104延伸至灯泡100的前部并由环106支撑。冷却片104之间限定有空间108。
然而,典型地,LED灯泡的形状与传统的白炽灯泡、卤素灯泡或紧凑型荧光灯灯泡不同。例如,图1至图3的灯泡100具有平坦面和急剧倾斜的背部。结果,传统的适配器对许多LED灯泡无效。由于不同的形状,抓持器的柔性指通常既不能与灯泡接合,也不能进入空间108。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种用于更换LED灯泡的灯泡更换器。
为了实现以上目的和其它目的,本发明涉及用于更换LED灯泡的适配器。适配器能够具有用于安装至现有灯泡更换器的杆的螺纹配合部。适配器具有主体,优选地,主体由诸如硬质塑料等的硬质材料形成。主体具有多个齿,以与位于LED灯泡的冷却片之间的空间接合。然后,使用杆和适配器能够从灯泡的灯座拧下灯泡并且能够降下灯泡。能够将新的灯泡放置于齿、升起该灯泡并将该灯泡拧入灯座。
适配器能够被设计成用于各类型的LED灯泡和供适配器安装的杆。适配器具有恰当数量的齿和恰当长度的各齿,用于与灯泡接合而移除灯泡。典型地,齿平行于适配器的轴线地面向正前方,以允许齿容易地插入空间并且一旦已经从灯泡的灯座降下灯泡时容易移除灯泡。适配器还被设计成安装至杆;结果,适配器能够具有锥形、半球形等类似的形状。
多个这种适配器能够作为套装一起出售用于更换多种类型的灯泡。适配器能够与杆、用于安装于不同类型的杆的螺纹适配器一起出售,或单独出售。

具体实施方式
将参照附图详细说明优选实施方式及其变型例,在附图中始终采用相似的附图标记指代相似的元件或步骤。
图1至图3示出了根据优选实施方式的适配器200。因为适配器被设计成用于特定的灯泡,所以根据该特定的灯泡选择适配器的比例,该比例包括适配器的直径以及齿的数量和长度。
适配器200具有主体202。主体202的一端为诸如螺纹安装部等的安装部204,安装部204被设计成使适配器200安装至灯泡更换器的杆210,该灯泡更换器能够为现在市面上已有的或还未引入市场的灯泡更换器。另一端为用于以稍后说明的方式与灯泡接合的齿206。为了容易与灯泡接合和分开,齿206平行于适配器200的轴线B地延伸。因为具有安装部204的端和具有齿206的端典型地具有不同的直径,所以主体202具有诸如锥形或半球形等的形状,但是还能够选择任意其它适当的形状。
适配器200能够以诸如通过注塑或机加工等的任意适当的方式和诸如硬质塑料等的任意适当的材料制成。设想的是,主体202将具有空的空间208,以减轻适配器202的重量和所使用材料的量两者;然而,如果期望的话,主体202可以是实心的。
图3示出了灯泡100与适配器200的接合。灯泡100与适配器200彼此面对地同轴配置,齿206插入空间108中。通过旋转适配器200(例如,通过旋转杆),使用者使灯泡100旋转以将灯泡拧至灯座或从灯座拧下。一旦灯泡100被拧上,就能够简单地降下适配器200,或者一旦灯泡100被拧下并降下,则能够简单地从适配器取下灯泡。当升起或降下灯泡100时,主体202和齿206支撑灯泡100,抵抗适配器200的下落。
图4是示出根据优选实施方式的变型例的三个适配器200a、200b、200c的立体图。三个适配器200a、200b、200c具有用于不同灯泡的尺寸。当然,它们可以打包在一起或单独出售。
各适配器200a、200b、200c分别包括具有弧形边的主体202a、202b、202c。主体202a、202b、202c与安装部204a、204b、204c之间形成有肋402a、402b、402c。另外,适配器200a、200b、200c能够与图1至图3的适配器200类似地形成。
尽管以上已经阐述了优选实施方式及其变型例,但是已经研究过本公开的本领域技术人员将容易理解到,能够在本发明的范围内实现其它实施方式。例如,主体和齿能够具有与待被更换的灯泡兼容的任意比例,并且适配器能够具有任意兼容数量的齿。此外,本发明能够用于LED灯泡或任意其他类似的装置。另外,能够使用任意形状的任意部件(诸如主体200、200a、200b、200c),只要适配器仍然有效即可。因此,本发明应当被理解为仅受所附权利要求的限制。

Claims (9)

1.一种适配器,其用于更换具有多个冷却片的灯泡,所述适配器包括:
主体,所述主体具有近端和远端;
安装部,所述安装部位于所述主体的近端,所述安装部用于使所述适配器安装至杆;和
多个齿,所述多个齿从所述主体的远端延伸,所述多个齿具有被适配成能够进入位于所述灯泡的冷却片之间的空间的数量和长度。
2.根据权利要求1所述的适配器,其特征在于,所述安装部包括螺纹连接部。
3.根据权利要求1所述的适配器,其特征在于,所述主体具有轴线,所述齿平行于所述轴线。
4.一种用于从灯座移除具有多个冷却片的灯泡的方法,所述方法包括:
(a)提供适配器,所述适配器包括:
主体,所述主体具有近端和远端;
安装部,所述安装部位于所述主体的近端,所述安装部用于使所述适配器安装至杆;和
多个齿,所述多个齿从所述主体的远端延伸,所述多个齿具有被适配成能够进入位于所述灯泡的冷却片之间的空间的数量和长度;
(b)以使得所述齿位于所述冷却片之间的空间中的方式定位所述适配器;
(c)通过转动所述适配器拧下所述灯泡;以及
(d)从所述适配器移除所述灯泡。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方法,其特征在于,步骤(a)包括将所述适配器安装至杆。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述安装部包括用于与所述杆连接的螺纹连接部。
7.一种用于将具有多个冷却片的灯泡安装至灯座的方法,所述方法包括:
(a)提供适配器,所述适配器包括:
主体,所述主体具有近端和远端;
安装部,所述安装部位于所述主体的近端,所述安装部用于使所述适配器安装至杆;和
多个齿,所述多个齿从所述主体的远端延伸,所述多个齿具有被适配成能够进入位于所述灯泡的冷却片之间的空间的数量和长度;
(b)以使得所述齿位于所述冷却片之间的空间中的方式定位所述灯泡;
(c)通过转动所述适配器将所述灯泡拧入所述灯座;以及
(d)从所述灯泡移除所述适配器。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,步骤(a)包括将所述适配器安装至杆。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,所述安装部包括用于与所述杆连接的螺纹连接部。
