Abstract
A method for rapidly identifying the sex of Acipenser sinensis comprises the following steps: step 1: preparing for temporary culture of the Chinese sturgeons to be identified; step 2: preparing anesthetic liquid; and step 3: anesthesia of the Acipenser sinensis to be identified; and 4, step 4: an abdominal incision; and 5: sex identification; step 6: treating the wound; and 7: resuscitation and recovery after identification; thus completing the rapid identification of the sex of the Acipenser sinensis. The method and the tool for rapidly identifying the sex of the Chinese sturgeon can solve the problem that the sex identification method of the Chinese sturgeon in the early stage of sexual maturity is lacked, and can rapidly, efficiently and accurately identify the sex of the Chinese sturgeon; convenient operation and strong practicability, and meets the requirements of sex identification in the works of Chinese sturgeon culture and scientific research.

Background

The water quality indexes of the temporarily-cultured water in the step 1 are as follows: DO > 6.0mg/L, NH4 +<0.5mg/L,NO2 -Less than 0.05mg/L and a pH value of 7.5-8.5.

The water quality indexes of the temporarily-cultured water in the step 1 are as follows: DO > 6.0mg/L, NH4 +<0.5mg/L,NO2 -Less than 0.05mg/L, the pH value of 7.5-8.5 and the water temperature of 15-16 ℃.
