背景技术
许多电子消费产品包括控制设备的操作的微处理器和固件。新产品的区别特征经常是基于固件的。此外,在这种基于固件的设备中,经常需要更新来更正所安装的固件中的代码错误。固件更新还防止过早地丢弃设备,否则该设备会变得在操作上过时。
常规的固件更新系统包括从光盘、USB卡或以无线方式下载新的固件。然而,在每种情况下,固件更新需要一些技术知识还需要使用者做出决定。更新由固件控制的现有皮肤护理设备具有许多好处。然而,已知的是,使用者可能不愿意承受费用和/或承受麻烦来更新他们的皮肤护理设备。进一步地,现有的更新固件的方法需要可能导致对设备的内部结构的环境暴露的连接,或需要附加的设备或需要使用安全代码的无线通信装置。对于证明简单的皮肤护理设备更新是合理的来说,所有这些设置通常过于复杂。
因此,需要提供一种更新皮肤护理设备固件的基本上自动的系统,这种系统不需要额外的硬件或者使用者的交互作用。
发明内容
因此,一种用于更新电子消费设备中的固件的系统包括:电子设备、更换操作部分和设备中的RFID读取器,其中电子设备具有用于设备的操作控制的现有的固件和为了设备的正确操作需要周期性更换的操作部分;更换操作部分具有RFID(射频识别)标签,该RFID标签包括用于设备的更新的固件;并且RFID读取器读取在RFID标签上的固件并使用所读取的固件来更换现有的固件的相应部分。
进一步地,一种用于电子皮肤刷设备的更换部分,该电子皮肤刷设备包括手柄部,该手柄部具有RFID(射频识别)读取器和微处理器,该微处理器具有用于控制皮肤刷设备的操作的现有的固件,更换部分包括:适于更换在设备中使用的现有的刷头构件的刷头构件,其中所述刷头构件包括RFID标签,该RFID标签能被手柄中的RFID读取器读取,其中所读取的固件用于更换现有的固件或该现有的固件的一部分。

具体实施方式
图1是电动皮肤刷设备的透视图,而图2是该皮肤护理设备的分解/剖视图,总体上以10指示。该设备包括手柄或设备外壳12。设备由电池14供电,具有外部充电器(未示出)。设备10包括通/断开关16,其控制马达18,该马达18操作工件20。在所示的设备中,工件20是具有安装到刷毛底座24的一组刷毛簇22的刷子组件。该组刷毛簇可以具有多种配置。刷毛组件在操作中具有使用寿命,在使用寿命结束时,刷毛簇磨损到刷子组件应被更换的程度。对于典型的使用,这将在近似三个月至六个月的间隔发生。在一个实施例中,通过微处理器30使刷子组件在马达18的控制下,以往复运动的方式振动,振动的角度为近似7°,振动的频率在150-250Hz的范围内。这说明了电动皮肤刷的特定实施例,应理解在此公开的本发明并不受限于这样的实施例。
在本发明中,RFID(射频识别)标签28附接到工件上。RFID标签可以位于可更换工件上的不同位置,但是在所示的实施例中附接在内底座24的下侧。RFID标签包含用于设备的更新的固件。该标签是不同于常规的,在所示的实施例中近似为18mm乘18mm。更新的固件可以包括用于设备的改善性能控制/代码、用于设备的操作的更正代码和/或其它目的。该设备包括RFID读取器天线29,其定位在设备中使得其能够读取在可更换工件上的RFID标签。
由RFID读取器读取的更新的固件然后被发送到定位在该设备内的可重复编程的微处理器30。图3示出了在可重复编程的微处理器30中的存储器的可访问区域的一般设置。可操作固件被划分成在微处理器中的两个区域。可更新域32代表在正常使用期间操作设备的固件,不可更新域34管理从工件上的RFID标签到读取器天线29以及从读取器天线29到可更新域32的信息流。不可更新域还根据需要在重新启动功能期间管理固件更新处理。
这种设置产生了这样一种固件升级系统,其与刷头的更换相一致地以规则的间隔时间完成升级,而无需要求使用者进行任何动作,实际上,几乎是自动进行升级。典型地,该升级将具有识别号码,使得微处理器会知道是否要实施升级,因为有可能的是特定的更换刷头或其它工件可能包含的固件的版本比当前的且在微处理器中工作的固件的版本更早。
现在参考图4,用于皮肤护理设备42的带有RFID标签的刷子40能够被配备了嵌入式RFID读取器的诸如智能电话和平板电脑这样的移动装置44以及其它装置读取,从而实现电子商务活动,诸如与商业网站46通信。可更换刷头上的RFID标签,在被移动装置读取时,通过特定网站的URL将该装置指引到该特定网站。网站46将包括各种信息,包括对更换刷头的购买、专用于特定的刷子的新皮肤处理配方,甚至是顾客专用的配方/刷子组合。网站可以包括更新的固件,该更新的固件可以被下载到移动装置上,然后下载到RFID标签,从而被手柄中的读取器读取。还可以从网站上观看和/或购买专业化的以及新开发的皮肤处理方案,购买的方案可以被直接下载到使用者的移动装置44上,并且从该移动装置44再下载到设备42中的刷头上的RFID标签上,从而为该设备提供附加功能。这典型地将会成为普通固件升级的一部分,但这可以附加到现有的固件上。
进一步地,可用的跟踪信息/能力可以用于识别设备的特定的使用者,使得针对性的促销方案可以被指引到使用者的特定移动装置。该网站还可以通过向使用者的智能电话、移动装置或其它类似装置提供提醒/通知来促进及时的刷子更换。
进一步地,典型的移动装置的相机功能可用于记录使用者的面部的区域,以便传送到皮肤处理职业人员和/或临床医师能够访问的网站,用于评价和推荐特定的刷子配方,或甚至进行虚拟网络聊天,其中远程的临床医师能够访问使用者的照片以及提供直接的建议。
在刷头上的RFID标签还可以用于将移动装置使用者指引到教育网站,该教育网站提供教育信息,包括最新可用的刷子、配方、清洁方案和针对特定刷子或设备组合的美容技术。
设备自身(例如,手柄部分)可以用于扫描带有RFID标签的刷子和带有RFID标签的配方二者。然后这个设备可以将RFID标签或手柄中存在的明确地与之前扫描过的刷子/配方相关或相配合的新清洁方案解锁。这种系统的一个例子是修脚装置,其扫描足部磨砂膏配方(pedi scrub)和足部刷子构件二者并且然后按照预定的特定频率、功率水平和能够在设备上的RFID标签中得到的操作文件(operational profile)进行操作,以实现与特定的配方有关的最优效果。
设备自身也可以用于扫描具有RFID标签的美容配方,其中RFID标签具有临时的授权代码,其使设备能够在固定的或有限量的时间内操作特定的清洁方案。这种系统可用于提供对新配方/方案组合的试用,此后要求购买一定量的配方以将设备中的方案永久解锁。

Claims (13)

1.一种用于更新电子消费设备中的固件的系统,包括:
电子设备,其具有用于所述设备的操作控制的现有的固件和为了所述设备的正确操作需要周期性更换的操作部分;
更换操作部分,其具有RFID(射频识别)标签,该RFID标签包括用于所述设备的更新的固件;和
在所述设备中的RFID读取器,其读取在所述RFID标签上的所述固件并使用所读取的固件更换所述现有的固件的相应部分。
2.如权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述更新的固件包括所述设备的改进的操作控制。
3.如权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述更新的固件包括所述现有的固件中的错误的更正。
4.如权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述设备是电动皮肤刷。
5.如权利要求4所述的系统,其中所述更换部分是所述设备的刷子部分。
6.如权利要求5所述的系统,其中当所述刷子部分处于所述设备中的操作位置时所述RFID标签是不可见的。
7.一种用于电子皮肤刷设备的更换部分,该电子皮肤刷设备包括手柄部分,该手柄部分具有RFID(射频识别)读取器和微处理器,该微处理器具有用于控制所述皮肤刷设备的操作的现有的固件,所述更换部分包括:
刷头构件,其适于更换在所述设备中使用的现有的刷头构件,其中所述刷头构件包括RFID标签,该RFID标签能被所述手柄中的所述RFID读取器读取,其中所读取的固件用于更换所述现有的固件或所述现有的固件的一部分。

10.一种用于更新电子消费装置中的固件的系统,包括:
