Abstract

本发明涉及一种能在屏幕上的一个“盒子”中显 示附加文字而在上述盒子中也能显示正常图象的电 视接收机。本发明的目的是一方面在盒子3中显示 正常图象从而观看整个画面，另一方面是使盒子3中 的文字4具有较高的可视性。本发明中指出了相对 于盒子外的对比度减小盒子3内的对比度的装置。

Description

本发明涉及一种能在一个“盒子”（box）中进行附加的文字显示的电视视接收机，其中正常图象也在上述盒子中显示。
一台能在显象管屏幕上显示正常图象的电视接收机包括能在正常图象中的部分屏幕上附加地显示文字的装置已属于先有技术。上述的文字可以是对刚显示的正常图象的解释。它可以包括新闻以及用于控制，调谐和调整电视接收机的任何提示信息。
文字的形式有符号，字母或数字，它们可以被仅仅插入图象中，并使得只有文字本身才占据部分图象区域。在其他情况下，在图象区域中也可以提供一个盒子，文字即出现在这个盒子中。构成文字的背景的盒子可以用黑色或其他颜色来显示。
如果文字位于一个具有均匀背景色的一个盒子中，那么这些文字的能见度将会很好，原因是盒子中的文字未被正常图象所包围。但另一方面，部分正常图象已丢失，已不可见了。尤其是当盒子与据较大的图象区域时，这就成了一个缺点。
另一个解决方案是使在盒子中也显示正常图象。在这种情况下，盒子所占据的区域中除了文字占据的一小部分之外的区域中的正常图象也能被看见。但这种情况下要阅读文字就比较困难，因为它们已被正常图象包围。上面的两个要求，即在盒子中也显示差不多完整的图象以及得到文字的良好的可视性，看起来是矛盾的，不可能同时实现。
本发明的一个目的即是改进电视接收机，使之能同时实现显示完整图象和文字具有较好的可视性这两个要求。
本发明提供了相对于盒子外的图象的对比度降低盒子内的图象对比度的装置。
申请人发现;在降低了的对比度下，盒子中的图象仍是可以观看的。另一方面，降低盒子中的对比度可以使文字具有良好的可视度，使图象不受构成盒子中的背景的图象的干扰。
在本发明的一个实施例中，对送到显象管的图象信号的放大率在显示盒子时变小。与此类似，也可以采取在一个预定阀值上使上述图象信号限幅（即削波）的方法。也可以采用上述二种方法的组合，即在一个预定的阀值之上降低放大率。
上述这些信号处理装置可以设置在RGB信号通路中、或者宽度信号通路和/或解调后的色差信号或彩色分量信号的通路中。具体采用的方法取决于所使用的电视接收机中的电路。
为了使放大率的降低能适应特殊要求或者观看者的个人影象，对比度降低装置最好是可调整的。
为了能使人更清楚地理解本发明，下面参照附图描述实际例子。附图中，
图1.示出了带有盒子和文字的屏幕。
图2.示出了本发明的电路图，
图3.示出了图2中的电路的不同特性，
图1示出了一个图象屏幕1，上面显示了一个正常图象2。图象2中又显示了一个矩形盒子3。盒子3中显示出了文字4以及给观看者的附加信息。盒子3的区域中除了文字4占据的很小区域之外也显示着正常图象2。与先有技术相对较，盒子3之外的图象2以及文字4都没有被改动，只是盒子3中的正常图象2的对比度与盒子外的图象2的对比度相比也被降低。这样，在盒子3的区域内的图象2也可以看到，而文字4的可读性也未下降。
图2示出了产生图1所示的显示的信号的电路。在盒子3外的正常图象2期间，视频信号从端点5通过引线6，处于图示位置的开关S1。处于图示位置的开关S2送至输出端7。在此期间，视频信号未被本电路所修改。
在盒子3中时，即在某几行或者某几行的特殊部分时，开关S1由脉冲10切换至下面的位置上。现在，从端子5来的视频信号将通过使信号对比度降低的电路11送出。现在，通过处于较低位置的开关S1和S2送至端口7的用于在显示管屏幕上进行显示的信号已不是端口5上的原始视频信号，而是对比度被降低了的信号VO。
在显示盒子3中的文字4期间，开关S2由脉冲12打开较高位置。现在，端口5送来的视频信号已完全截断，取而代之的是端口13送来的表示文字4的文本信号。
图3，4，5示出了电路11可能具备的不同性能。
图3中由引线6表示的信号通道正常情况下具有如曲线B所示的放大率。而电路11的放大率如曲线14所示。这样，信号VO的幅度相对于信号Vi的幅度已被降低，从而使盒子3中的对比度降低。
图4中，信号的放大率在一个阀值VOS之下不改变。但在VOS之上，信号Vi被限幅或称消波，这样，用于在盒子3期间来显示的VO的幅度限制在一个值VOS。
图5中示出了图3、图4两种方案的组合。在VOS之下，放大率不变;而在VOS之上，信号未被限幅，但被以由不同的线表示的较低的放大因数放大。
如电路11中的二个符号所示，电路11对信号Vi的修改可以调整到不同的放大率和不同的阀值。电路11可以模拟器件或者数字器件或者两者的组合而构成。对电路的调整可以由一个遥控单元来进行、也可是预置的或者是固定的。
这些条件可以由物理器件或者数字装置来设定。
数字器件可以包括只读有贮器，非易失存贮器或者读写存贮器。
与上述数字器件相连的存贮装备都是设置在电路11之外。

Claims (10)

1、能在屏幕上的一个盒子中进行文字的附加显示的电视接收机，其中在上述盒子中也显示正常图象，其特征在于：相对于上述盒子之外的对比度降低盒子内的图象对比度的装置。
2、根据权利要求1的接收机，其特征在于：在显示上述的盒子期间使图象信号的放大率降低的装置。
3、根据权利要求1的接收机，其特征在于：在一个预定的阀值上使图象信号限幅的装置。
4、根据权利要求1的接收机，其特征在于：只在一个预定阀值之上减少图象信号的放大率的装置。
5、根据前面任何一个权利要求的接收机，其特征在于：上述的装置被设置在RGB信号通路上。
6、根据前面任何一个权利要求的接收机，其特征在于：上述装置被设置在复合视频信号通路上。
7、根据前面任何一个权利要求的接收机，其特征在于上述的装置被设置在宽度信号通路上。
8、根据前面任何一个权利要求的接收机，其特征在于：上述的装置被设在解调了的色差信号通路上。
9、根据前面任何一个权利要求的接收机，其特征在于：上述的装置被设置在被解调了的彩色分量信号通路中。
10、根据权利要求1的接收机，其特征在于：上述装置是可调整的，能单独改变盒子内的图象对比度。
