本发明涉及通过热箔压印装饰塑料卡的侧边的新方法,以及用于实施前述方法的、连接至热箔压印机的加热器顶端件的雕刻机,和该塑料卡,所述塑料卡的侧边使用设计用于实施该方法的雕刻机通过装饰过程进行装饰。
背景技术
目前,在本领域中,众所周知塑料卡用于多种目的,最为众所周知的包括通过借记卡或信用卡,或房产证付款或各种活动。这些塑料卡的正面和背面通常以各种图案装饰,该图案通常构成广告并且很多时候包含为了在该装饰内使塑料卡实现其目的所需的部分或全部信息,例如持卡人的姓名。
经装饰的塑料卡的一个审美要求是其侧边的颜色与其正面或背面的颜色或希望并并入的其它类型的装饰相同。
为了确保卡的侧边是所期望的颜色,使用所期望的颜色的塑料制备该卡。该解决方案要求制造商维持所提供的每种颜色的库存,因而意味着维持该库存的成本非常高。此外,因为储存所有颜色的卡的成本非常高,在任何特定时间都很有可能仅仅由于不具有客户想要的颜色而使其丧失销售机会。
本发明的目的是提供迄今未公布的装饰技术,以通过众所周知的热箔压印装饰方法装饰塑料卡的侧边,该方法的特征在于可能降低生产和库存维持成本,从而可能意味着仅需要储存一种颜色的卡,该卡通常为白色。
热箔压印方法包括在某段时间以某个温度使用雕刻机向位于待装饰的表面上的箔片施加一定量的压力。
雕刻机与箔接触的表壳可以完全是平坦的或具有待装饰的标志浮雕雕刻在该表面上。热压印后,有可能通过鼓吹、拂拭或转移过程清洁箔痕,以便消除可能留下的箔痕。
除了别的机床外,在竖直式压印机和滚动压压印机中实施热箔压印。
竖直式热压印机形成竖直的压力,该竖直式热压印机的移动主体为臂,其可以交替地上下移动,在所述臂的末端设有加热器顶端件,可以被加热的雕刻机连接至该加热器顶端件,此外还连接至用于定位和保持待压印的工件的支撑件或楔,以及各种进料器、用于箔的运输和安置设备,与用于控制压力、压印时间和雕刻机要被加热的温度的设备。
在滚动式压印机中,加热器顶端件为气缸,气缸在自身的轴上旋转,可以加热的雕刻机连接在该气缸的外部圆柱体表面上,这类机床可以用于实施大批量的压印。
热压印的箔由在聚酯支撑件上沉积的不同的层形成。这些层依次包括:通过加热和压力施加的聚酯、涂层、保护层、装饰层或颜色/铝层和粘合剂层。
通过加热和施压将雕刻机上形成的浮雕应用在待装饰的表面上,构成与箔进行物理接触的元件,使箔转移到平面。
发明内容
根据本发明的目的,用于装饰塑料卡的侧边的方法包括下面的步骤:
a.将多张,优选25单位的塑料卡以所述塑料卡的第一最短侧边在雕刻机的对面的方式放置在第一支撑楔上。
b. 对塑料卡的第一最短侧边进行热箔压印。
c. 在施加至第一最短侧边的印花上鼓吹空气。
d.将多张塑料卡放置在第一支撑楔上,使得所述塑料卡的第二较短侧边在雕刻机的对面。
e. 对塑料卡的第二最短侧边进行热箔压印。
f. 在施加至第二最长侧边的印花上鼓吹空气。
g. 将多张塑料卡以所述塑料卡的第一最长侧边在雕刻机的对面的方式放置在第二支撑楔上。
h. 对塑料卡的第一最长侧边进行热箔压印。
i. 在施加至第一最长侧边的印花上鼓吹空气。
j. 将多张塑料卡以所述塑料卡的第二最长侧边在雕刻机的对面的方式放置在第二支撑楔上。
k. 对塑料卡的第二最长侧边进行热箔压印。
l. 在施加至第二最长侧边的印花上鼓吹空气,以便消除热压印方法留下的过大的压力。
为了实施上述的方法,使用上述的竖直类或滚动类的热箔压印机,可以加热的雕刻机连接至该热箔压印机的加热器顶端件,所述雕刻机可以由硅酮制成,在箔对面的该雕刻机的外端面具有凹部,使得所述雕刻机的截面的形状为负形,并且尺寸与所述卡的侧边的尺寸相同,包括由该卡的所述侧边与相邻侧边形成的圆角。所述竖直式热箔压印机还包括一个或多个楔,适合以待装饰的侧边在雕刻机的下端面的对面的方式定位和保持所述塑料卡,这可能使所述楔成为保持设备,便于利用相同的楔对卡的所有四条侧边进行热压印。
所述雕刻机的截面的形状和尺寸优选与所述塑料卡的第一和第二最长侧边的形状和尺寸相同,并且在另一优选实施例中,与所述塑料卡的第一和第二最短侧边的形状和尺寸相同。
该雕刻机优选由80º Shore A硅酮制成。
根据上文所述的方法,利用热压印机以热箔压印的卡也形成本发明的目的,其侧边用热箔压印。

在本发明的优选实施例中,塑料卡符合ISO 7816并且其尺寸为:
·长: 85.6 +1/-0.5 mm
·宽: 53.98 +/-0.2 mm
·公称深度: 0.762 mm
并且优选用25张卡的群组工作。
该方法使用竖直式或滚动式热箔压印机,与前面描述的雕刻机和楔;该生产链可以包括:
·四个热压印机,每个热压印机接着其对应的鼓吹站。在该生产链中,每个热压印机压印一侧边。
·两个热压印机,接着其对应的鼓吹站,该热压印机中的每一个压印两侧边。
·一个热压印机,接着鼓吹站。

Claims (9)

1.用于在塑料卡的侧边装饰各种热箔印花的方法,其特征在于,该方法包括如下步骤:
a.将多张塑料卡放置在支撑楔上,使得所述塑料卡的第一侧边位于雕刻机的对面;
b.对所述塑料卡的第一侧边以及由所述塑料卡的所述第一侧边与相邻侧边形成的圆角进行热箔压印;
c.在施加至所述第一侧边的印花上鼓吹空气;
d.将多张塑料卡放置在支撑楔上,使得所述塑料卡的第二侧边在雕刻机的对面;
e.对塑料卡的所述第二侧边以及由所述塑料卡的所述第二侧边与相邻侧边形成的圆角进行热箔压印;
f.在施加至所述第二侧边的印花上鼓吹空气;
g.将多张塑料卡放置在支撑楔上,使得所述塑料卡的第三侧边位于雕刻机的对面;
h.对塑料卡的所述第三侧边以及由所述塑料卡的所述第三侧边与相邻侧边形成的圆角进行热箔压印;
i.在施加至所述第三侧边的印花上鼓吹空气;
j.将多张塑料卡放置在支撑楔上,使得所述塑料卡的第四侧边位于雕刻机的对面;
k.对塑料卡的所述第四侧边以及由所述塑料卡的所述第四侧边与相邻侧边形成的圆角进行热箔压印;
l.向所述第四侧边上制成的印花鼓吹空气。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述多张塑料卡由25张塑料卡组成。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,使用相同的楔对所述塑料卡的所有四条侧边进行热压印。
4.雕刻机,该雕刻机的种类为竖直式或滚动式,且连接至热箔压印机的加热器顶端件,该雕刻机用于根据权利要求1所述的用于在塑料卡的侧边装饰各种热箔印花的方法来获得多张塑料卡,其特征在于,该雕刻机由硅酮制成,可以加热,并且在其与箔相对的外端面上具有凹部,使得该雕刻机的截面为负形并且尺寸与所述多张塑料卡的一个侧边相同,所述塑料卡包括由所述侧边和相邻侧边形成的圆角,所述雕刻机的尺寸取决于所述多张塑料卡的塑料卡数量,所述雕刻机可以被加热并且适于连接至热压印机的加热器顶端件。

9.塑料卡,其特征在于,利用权利要求4-8中任何一项所述的雕刻机,根据权利要求1-3任一项所述方法用热箔对该塑料卡的侧边和由该塑料卡的所述侧边和相邻侧边形成的圆角进行压印。
