1、头颅呈普遍均匀性增大，且增长速度较快，骨缝分离，前囟明显饱满而扩大，头皮青筋暴露；颅部叩诊呈破壶音，头重颈肌不能支持而下垂，两眼下视；可有烦躁、嗜睡、食欲不振，甚至呕吐、惊厥；
2、CT检查提示脑实质菲薄，脑组织面积减少，脑室增宽扩大；头颅X线摄片可见骨板变薄，颅缝分开，蝶鞍增宽；眼底检查可见视神经萎缩或乳头水肿。
三、用法用量：临床应用时，一天一剂，水煎两遍取汁约200ml，分早、晚两次温热服用，五天为一疗程。
四、疗效标准：
1、治愈：头颅停止增大，前囟、颅缝渐闭，神志正常；
2、好转：头颅停止增大，前囟、颅缝明显收缩，神情转清；
3、未愈：头颅继续增大，症状日趋严重。
五、治疗效果：该临床观察病例中，服药4-12个疗程，治愈30例，好转18例，未愈10例。治疗期间未发生毒副作用。
六、典型病例：
病例1：周某，男，3岁。家长代述：出生不久后，但无不适感，未在意。近期出现食欲不振，呕吐，两眼下视，经诊断为：小儿脑积水。由于患儿尚小，遂采取保守治疗。服用本发明的中药组合物制备的药剂4个疗程后，头颅停止增长，各症状明显好转；继续服用4个疗程，症状消失，CT检查结果正常，治愈。随访半年未见复发。
病例2：孙某，女，8岁。患者出生时患有小儿脑积水，发育缓慢，行走相比不如同龄人，并伴有呕吐，喂食困难等症状。经多次治疗，无显著疗效。服用本发明的中药组合物制备的药剂4个疗程，孩子呕吐，喂食困难等症状明显好转，行走能力也得到明显改善；续服3个疗程后，各症状消失，治愈。回访未见复发。

1.一种治疗小儿脑积水的中药组合物，其特征在于：其中药原料及重量份配比为：山茱萸10-30份，石菖蒲10-20份，熟地黄10-20份，牡丹皮5-15份，山药10-20份，桑白皮10-20份，菊花5-15份，川芎10-20份，肉苁蓉10-20份，路路通10-20份，红花5-15份，石韦10-20份，川牛膝10-20份，党参5-15份，竹茹10-20份，半边莲10-20份，羚羊角5-15份，补骨脂10-20份，远志10-20份，黄精5-15份，穿心莲10-20份，甘草5-15份。
2.根据权利要求1所述的一种治疗小儿脑积水的中药组合物，其特征在于：其中药原料及重量份配比为：山茱萸20份，石菖蒲15份，熟地黄15份，牡丹皮10份，山药15份，桑白皮15份，菊花10份，川芎15份，肉苁蓉15份，路路通15份，红花10份，石韦15份，川牛膝15份，党参10份，竹茹15份，半边莲15份，羚羊角10份，补骨脂15份，远志15份，黄精10份，穿心莲15份，甘草10份。
