发明背景
由于宽带和无线网络访问的增加和可用性,对服务无处不在的远程访问已成为普遍。因而,用户正使用不断增多的各种客户端设备(例如,移动设备、平板计算设备、膝上型/笔记本/台式计算机等等)访问服务。远程服务器可在服务与客户端设备之间通过各种网络传送包含数据或其它信息的消息,所述网络包括3G和4G移动数据网络,无线网络诸如WiFi和WiMax,有线网络等等。

在图1B中,客户端102通过通信连接125连接到远程访问服务器104。应用服务器106可以预定因特网协议(IP)和/或套接字连接到远程访问服务器104,或使用与远程访问服务器104关联的统一资源定位符(URL),以在服务器远程访问程序在远程访问服务器104上执行时注册服务或应用。所述服务在启动时使用服务器-服务套接字连接(下文更详细描述)来连接到服务器,且将会话建立成客户端可连接到的排队且非托管应用。
在图1B的环境中,非托管服务117可在客户端102连接到非托管服务117之前注册远程访问服务器104。最初,在应用服务器106处启动远程可访问应用(即,非托管服务117)。在此,“远程可访问”可定义为应用,其被设计来与提供作为服务层116中实施的软件开发套件(SDK)的部分的远程访问工具套件一起运行。接着非托管服务117连接到远程访问服务器104,并在此处注册以在其之间创建通信。远程可访问应用现在为“队列服务”,因为它准备通过一个或多个客户端102连接。队列服务因唯一应用名称(对于单个类型的远程可访问应用),和/或对于队列服务连接唯一的唯一应用instanceId而已知。
客户端102可通过连接到远程访问服务器104而连接到非托管服务117,如上文所描述。在连接到远程访问服务器104时,客户端102可通过使用所述应用instanceId连接到队列服务的特定实例,或使用应用名称连接到第一可用的特定类型队列服务。远程访问服务器104接着促进将客户端102连接到队列服务的机制。一旦连接客户端后,队列服务将其升级到“主动服务”。通过使用唯一应用instanceId,额外客户端可连接到所述主动服务,从而已连接的客户端可与所述主动服务一起合作。可通过添加各与远程访问服务器104通过各自通信连接126通信的额外应用服务器106来提供额外服务。例如,可添加第二(或更多)应用服务器106来托管第二(或更多)非托管服务117。
在图1A和图1B两图中,服务器远程访问程序可提供连接编组和应用进程管理。服务器远程访问程序的示例为可从加拿大阿尔伯塔省卡尔加里的Calgary Scientific,Inc.获取的PUREWEB。
根据本公开的方面,当实施非托管服务部署时,如图1B中所示,远程访问服务器104可能需要知道所述非托管服务117是否断开连接或在客户端连接过程中挂断。相应地,可提供保活机制,从而在非托管服务117首先排队且在客户端102连接之前的时间内,非托管服务117将保活消息发送到远程访问服务器104。
参考图2,图示了调用流程图,所述流程图图示在非托管服务117和远程访问服务器104中运行的线程之间发送的消息序列,以实施本公开的保活机制。远程访问服务器104启动监视线程206以监视来自非托管服务117的保活消息,从而通过确定在可配置的时间间隔内未接收到保活消息来检测所述非托管服务117是否已消失,或者检测远程访问服务器104与非托管服务117之间的服务器-服务套接字连接是否已意外关闭。如果服务器-服务套接字连接已丢失,客户端102将其服务器会话断开连接,这继而致使远程访问服务器104关闭服务器-服务套接字,并从系统清除所述非托管服务117。
然而,如果客户端102在保活消息进行传递时连接到非托管服务117,保活消息传递可能会导致问题,因为将会有两个线程同时写入服务器-服务套接字。具体来说,一旦已连接客户端102,远程访问服务器104会启动线程来读取来自服务器-服务套接字的服务响应,以发送回到客户端102。在启动此线程之前,远程访问服务器104需要确保监视线程206已关闭,使得每次只有一个线程从服务器-服务套接字进行读取。否则所述监视线程会承担耗费意图用于客户端120的响应的风险,这可能会破坏客户端-服务请求/响应协议。远程访问服务器104还需要确保非托管服务117已停止发送保活消息,所述保活消息可能另外会被传送到客户端112。在此,客户端102将不知道如何处理保活消息。
因此,根据本公开,保活消息传递在恰好客户端102连接到非托管服务117之前被关闭。可在远程访问服务器104与非托管服务117之间实施握手过程,以在客户端102连接时按顺序关闭保活消息,使得可执行正常处理,即,从发送保活消息到接收客户端输入和发送服务响应的服务输入/输出线程转变。以这种方式,在套接字中具有一个线程到另一线程的切换。
图2图示调用流程图,其图示在非托管服务和远程访问服务器中运行的线程之间发送的消息序列,以实施本公开的保活消息传递。图3图示由远程访问服务器104执行的过程的操作流程图300,用以实施图2中所示的保活消息传递。图4图示由非托管服务117执行的过程的操作流程图400和420,用以实施图2中所示的保活消息传递。操作流程300、400和420可同时由远程访问服务器104和非托管服务117执行,以实施上文介绍的保活消息传递。
如图2和图4中所示,当非托管服务117连接到远程访问服务器104时,启动输入线程202和输出线程204,它们分别执行操作流程400和420。在422,应用ID、进程名称和进程ID(即,与非托管服务117关联的信息)作为初始报头发送到远程访问服务器104(在424)。如图3中所示,此信息(来自422)在304处被远程访问服务器104接收。在306,远程访问服务器104注册所述非托管服务117。接着,启动监视线程206并开始其操作流程,如300所示。
输出线程204在426处开始循环,保活消息在此循环处发送,输出线程204等待可配置的时间量(例如,在428是500ms),且确定是否已接收到停止发送保活(在430,从远程访问服务器104,如下文所描述)。如果没有接收到停止发送保活消息,循环返回426。如果接收到停止发送保活消息,则在432处由输出线程204停止保活消息的发送。注意,在428的等待时间可以配置,且可以是除了500ms以外的时间段。
监视线程206在312与上文所述同时在循环中操作,以在314启动定时器,从输出线程204读取保活消息(在318)并在320取消定时器。所述循环在非托管服务117连接到远程访问服务器104但在客户端连接被接收到之前的时间段内执行。如果在314处启动的定时器在接收到保活消息之前到期,则在316,会关闭与非托管服务117关联的套接字,且服务被注销,因为会假设非托管服务117已消失。
在308,可与312处的循环操作同时由远程访问服务器104确定客户端连接到远程访问服务器104以远程访问非托管服务117(例如,从客户端102在远程访问服务器104的URL处的连接)。在308处的确定可在非托管服务117连接到远程访问服务器104之后的任何时间确定,如图2中所示。在310,远程访问服务器104将消息发送到输入线程202,以停止发送保活消息。此消息被输入线程在402处接收,其在404处将stopSendingKeepAlives值设为“true”。在406,输入线程202通知输出线程204其应停止发送保活消息。

Claims (20)
1.一种在客户端-服务器远程访问系统中提供客户端到非托管服务的连接的方法,其包括:
在远程访问服务器处注册所述非托管服务并且在其之间创建通信连接,所述远程访问服务器被配置用于提供由客户端到所述非托管服务的远程访问;
在所述远程访问服务器处通过所述通信连接接收来自所述非托管服务的保活消息;
在所述远程访问服务器处接收客户端连接到所述非托管服务的请求;和
将终止保活消息从所述远程访问服务器传送到所述非托管服务,以响应于所述客户端连接到所述非托管服务的请求而终止从所述非托管服务发送保活消息。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其还包括在所述远程访问服务器处执行监视线程以接收所述保活消息和监视所述客户端连接的所述请求。
3.根据权利要求1-2中任一项所述的方法,其还包括:
确定所述保活消息是否被所述非托管服务发送;
将定时器启动预定时间段;
确定保活消息是否在所述预定时间段内被接收;和
如果所述保活消息未被接收,注销所述非托管服务;和
如果所述保活消息被接收,取消所述定时器并循环回到所述确定步骤。
4.根据权利要求1-3中任一项所述的方法,其还包括关闭所述通信连接。
5.根据权利要求2-4中任一项所述的方法,其还包括从所述远程访问服务器将所述监视线程已停止的确认传送到所述非托管服务。

10.根据权利要求8-9中任一项所述的方法,其还包括在所述非托管服务处执行输出线程和输入线程,其中所述输出线程将所述保活消息发送到所述远程访问服务器,并且其中所述输入线程接收停止发送所述保活消息的指令。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其还包括在终止所述保活消息后维护所述客户端连接,所述维护由所述输入线程和所述输出线程执行。
12.根据权利要求8-11中任一项所述的方法,其中所述第一应用服务器和所述远程访问服务器是相同的计算设备。
13.根据权利要求8-12中任一项所述的方法,其中所述第一应用服务器是除了与所述远程访问服务器关联的计算设备之外的计算设备。
14.根据权利要求8-13中任一项所述的方法,其中所述指令从远程访问服务器接收。
15.根据权利要求8-14中任一项所述的方法,其中响应于所述远程访问服务器处的客户端连接请求而接收所述指令。
16.根据权利要求8-15中任一项所述的方法,其还包括:
在至少第二应用服务器处执行至少第二非托管服务;
在所述至少第二非托管服务与所述远程访问服务器之间创建第二通信连接;
将信息提供到远程访问服务器以在所述远程访问服务器处注册所述至少第二非托管服务,所述远程访问服务器被配置用于提供由客户端到所述至少第二非托管服务的远程访问;
通过所述第二通信连接将保活消息从所述至少第二非托管服务传送到所述远程访问服务器;和
响应于接收指令而终止来自所述至少第二非托管服务的所述保活消息。
17.一种在客户端-服务器远程访问系统中提供客户端到非托管服务的连接的装置,其还包括:
远程访问服务器,其具有服务器层,所述服务器层是在所述客户端与所述非托管服务之间发送的消息的通信代理;
应用服务器,其执行与所述非托管服务关联的服务层,
其中所述远程访问服务器通过通信连接从所述非托管服务接收保活消息,其中所述远程访问服务器接收客户端连接到所述非托管服务的请求,并且其中所述远程访问服务器将终止保活消息传送到所述非托管服务,以响应于所述客户端连接到所述非托管服务的所述请求而终止从所述非托管服务发送保活消息。
18.根据权利要求17所述的装置,其中所述远程访问服务器执行监视线程以接收所述保活消息和监视所述客户端连接的所述请求。
19.根据权利要求17-18中任一项所述的装置,其中所述远程访问服务器通过将定时器启动预定时间段来确定所述保活消息是否被所述非托管服务发送,并且其中如果在所述预定时间段内未接收到所述保活消息,所述远程访问服务器注销所述非托管服务。
20.根据权利要求17-19中任一项所述的装置,其中所述远程访问服务器和所述应用服务器维持与所述非托管服务关联的消息队列,以在一旦建立所述客户端连接后传送消息。
